It's logical that when you attack you become more vulnerable. because you focus on the attaack.. not on the defence.. so.. yeah. I don't see what's the deal here Twistedlink?
When Kisame went fuse mode and started attackng Bee, was he more or less vulnerable?
Put it this way when Kisame was simply defending he got skimmed with a pencil bullet and got knocked down and blasted.
As soon as he started attacking-Bee had to start moving.
Its why the phrase "The best form of defence is offense"
Anyone who plays chess will understand that.
Defensive moves in chess are also known as Last resort moves, being pushed back, getting less ground.
Attacks are not supposed to make you vulnerable, if they do, then the attack is incomplete or is compensated by complete ownage.
Again, as Minato told Kakashi, kakashis attack leaves him vulnerable-therefore he shouldn't use it until he perfects it so he no longer becomes vulnerable while using it.
Gaara while attacking deidara did not become more vulnerable
Pain attacking Jiraiya did not become more vulnerable
Almost all attacks in the Naruto series are to get the upper hand in a fight, tobi is backwards, as soon as he starts fighting he becomes a punching bag.
Sure he won, and he did it seriously fast, but id personally prefer there to be a trick to his see-through jutsu than it turning on when defending and turning off when attacking.
A boxer who keeps is hands by his head the entire fight is destined to lose
A boxer who defends correctly and only attacks when defence is not required is destined to win.
I'm not coming out with any new fangled weirdness here.
The phrase "offence is the best form of defence" didn't come from nowhere, it is apparent in almost all martial arts, sports, war strategies, and games.
