How crazy would it turn out if Shanks kills him and how would you feel about it. You can make up any scenario you choose as to why. Maybe Shanks wants to ensure the checks and balances the 3 main powers provide and Dragon overthrowing the WG would undo that so he fights him and ends up killing him.

For the record, yes this is the exact opposite of my earlier thread.

Is this really necessaries?
Most could just say the exact same scenario they did in the last thread except Dragon wins instead of Shanks....
Is anything besides air and water necessary? Is NB necessary, couldn't we just talk about this stuff with people in the real world. Also the people who think Dragon will die may not be the same people who think Shanks will die, this way by creating both options I increase the chance of feedback and since the point of this whole website is to share and discuss ideas then yeah I'd say it was necessary. Was it the most thought provoking, revolutionary(heh no pun intended) thread ever created on this site, no but it's just as necessary as every other unnecessary discussion we have here on the internet.

Why do most things turn into some deep spiritual thing with you? :|
It's a forum...nothing too important and serious...
There was pretty much already a duplicate of this thread, this one wasn't needed when there is already one you created yesterday. Like I said, most of the responses are the same just with Dragon dying and Shanks dying switched. It's useless.

Actually before you got in here 2/3 people answering said Shanks couldn't kill Dragon and the other guy didn't even bother to answer the question just said they'd both die at the end but not by whom or anything, so they're actually nothing alike. In the first post people accepted the idea Dragon could kill Shanks and went along with the hypothetical, here most of them disregarded the notion of Shanks killing Dragon completely. Not to mention that everyone, besides you, in this thread did not comment on the Shanks thread.

Do you have a problem with deep spirituality? Also I wasn't intending on that, I was actually being sarcastic(I apologize for that now).
"It's a forum...nothing too important and serious..." then why did you feel compelled to ask me if my thread was necessary? If it's nothing too important and serious than nothing posted here which furthers discussion is un-necessary. I've seen you on other threads talking about how pointless etc. they are and no offense but what's useful to you isn't to everyone else and it's not really within your realm to tell people what is and isn't useless.

Why do you think they didn't? Because they already expressed their opinions on this in your other thread :|

I don't have a problem with it, I think it's stupid though and people who ramble on about it use it as an excuse to sound smart. But if people want to specialise in it, I don't have a problem with that. Everyone to their own.

Tbh I felt the need to bring it up because it's a useless thread, bottom line. It's not needed. You are the one that turned this into a huge debate. I got my point cross long ago.

Lastly, when I say a thread is useless it is because there has already been an exact same thread been made a day or two ago. Why make a thread when you can go onto others made a week before and find your answers there?

If he would ever do that he would have a reason for doing so. It just depends on what that reason is.

But generally speaking, I don't like the thought of it. I don't like the thought of Dragon killing Shanks either.

This is gonna sound a bit mean but, can you read and do you have eyes? "Not to mention that everyone, besides you, in this thread did not comment on the Shanks thread." Everyone in this thread DID NOT respond in the first thread. You can go and check for yourself if you don't believe me. Ryuma, Allseeing, Shon and Rikers never left any opinion on "what if Dragon kills shanks".

Oh the good ol' "to sound smart. " defense. Look, for you and anyone else who relies on that, you just make yourself look bad. If someone accuses someone else of "sounding like they're trying to be smart" that's just a reflection on the commentator. See the whole "trying to sound smart" that doesn't come from the writer that comes from the reader and what it basically shows is that the reader's typical conversation level is below the writer of the material he's reading. A writer can't help how any given reader is going to take his work, they can only choose the words they feel most comfortable using and discussing the topics they are most adept at talking through.

"Why make a thread when you can go onto others made a week before and find your answers there?"
Because people are on at different times of the day, because old threads get lost and pushed by the wayside quickly here and hunting for them isn't always practical, because some threads cover the topic you're interested in but not the issue and are confused by others as being the same thing, because you didn't see any thread already covering the issue. There's tons of reasons as to why to make a thread.

"it's a useless thread, bottom line. It's not needed."
That's your opinion that you're trying to pass as an undeniable fact, and that, sir, is the problem. You may find it unnecessary and useless and that's your perogative, but if this thread is useless and not needed where does that leave you and all the comments you wasted on it? I do believe you've given it enough validity on your own.

I could ask you the exact same question. You missinterpreted what I said. The point I was making was the one you just said, people that left their opinion on your other thread didn't on here, because their opinion is already on the other one.

...that's exactly what I mean. Usually high school drop outs that are into all that spirituality crap imo. Oddly enough i'm not a high school drop out though. Explain it how you will, I could care less. You have my opinion on it.

If people are on at different times it hardly makes any difference. This isn't the most active section in One Piece, threads made a few days apart rarely get pushed back to the second page. People tend to be pretty lazy though.

It's not an undeniable fact, it's my opinion. I commented on this thread, if you read the actual comment you would see otherwise, that I think it's useless. Not all attention to something is good attention.

These replies btw can really be less than a paragraph, saves me reading through 4 paragraphs to get 3 of your points.
