I think that the Senju DNA Tobi talks about during his fight v Konan is Zetsu. His left side is darkened because he's somehow merged with black Zetsu's other half.

This is what I don't understand, the manga basically says he lived afterwards, it also says he lived to meet Nagato. So either way, he either lived many years after to meet Nagato, which case, there's an aging issue regardless if I can explain it or not...
Then if you're saying it helps you by proving he died shortly afterwards, then that entire generation is brought closer to Madara's time, so it's still the same. You see my point? The fact that Madara spoke Nagato's name automatically protects my theory.
As for the Izuna theory, well Tobi is pretty much acting like he's nobody. Izuna and Madara was supposed to have always competed with one another, and if it is Izuna, then it just seems like...well...Madara made him his you know what, BIG TIME!
It just seems like he would have more pride than that because he appears to have none. :/
Also, what the heck happened to him? He can't use any jutsu at all...this is the biggest thing that makes me lean more toward the Obito theory.
Also if it is Izuna, you run into the same that you believe I face. How come he still looks so young? o.o
Your point about the aging problem is a problem, but not if you include Tobi into the mix at that time. To begin with, it is almost certain that Nagato was some sort of test tube baby created by Madara and Tobi. Why? The fact that he was an Uzumaki, even though his parents weren't (otherwise they would have defended themselves like ninja). This can be used to easily explain the time problem. Madara and Tobi create this child, and Madara, upon his death, orders Tobi to transplant his eyes into the baby, and release it in a destroyed country during a time of war and turmoil where a child with the Rinnegan wouldn't be noticed (the second ninja world war).
Thus, we have Madara dying young, while still knowing Nagato, and the years in between could be explained by waiting for the right time to release Nagato.
And as to the Madara and Izuna competing, one problem surfaces here. It doesn't seem at all like Madara is in control of the situation. What it seems like to me is that they cooperated on the plan, and now everything is in Tobi's (in this theory, Izuna's) hands. Tobi is the one in control. He was not made into a you know what at all it seems to me, except when he gave his eyes to Madara. That was, however, just to protect the clan, and one of them was going to end up doing it.
Also, Tobi acting like he's nobody doesn't equal Madara taming him. It's just his own philosophy, and maybe it spawns from the fact that he no longer sees himself as part of the clan that betrayed him, or of the Leaf, or of anything at all really. Nothing to do with Madara. What exactly would he have pride in! He has been betrayed by all except his brother, and could have easily taken a different approach to his portrayal.
There's also the whole deal that Madara and Kabuto do not know if he will follow the plan the way he should, which means he clearly has a sense of independence.
And also, he CAN use other jutsu. We just haven't seen much because the warping is normally enough. But we know he uses genjutsu (used it on Konan and the kyuubi), and we recently saw him put up a massive flame barrier around Gedo Mazo. We've also seen Izanagi. So does in fact have the ability to use other jutsu, he just seems to prefer not too, because he doesn't need to.
And Tobi doesn't really look young, do you really think he does? And either way, this can be explained much more easily than Obito aging so much all of a sudden. Hashirama's DNA and how much he has integrated himself with it (he can regrow an arm for goodness sake) means that he clearly has a great life force within him, one that is being used to slow the aging process. This also explains why he has lived so long.
The problem with this idea is that the Edo Madara clearly shows doubt as to whether Tobi will carry through with the Moons Eye Plan as planned. He doesn't trust Tobi. If Tobi were just an extension of himself, Madara would obviously be able to fully trust Tobi. But the fact that he doesn't shows that Tobi clearly is someone else who could have a different agenda.

don't think edo Madara clearly shows anything here. in fact I don't think Madara has said anything in particular revealing anything in particular about Tobi and if he fully trusts him or not. his reaction to Kabuto could also been seen as a way of Madara measuring Kabuto and what he knows and if he can trust him considering that Kabuto revealed he was the one controlling the edo tensei.
i think that he is a kindof mash up of deiferent people's body parts that have been put together buy zetzu
being contrloled buy a consciousness that may or may not belong to one of the people who make up his body
this consciousness may be a past charecter or a new one to be honest I dont know

I like that idea better than Tobi 'acting'.
Tobi trying to control the world while struggling to maintain his sanity.
Ends up forgetting who he was xd ''No one''
who ever tobi is, kishi beter give us a good backstory about it.
I'm still going with a zetsu like experiment created by madara using the firsts cells and madara's own cells fused and given life by his inzanagy with rinnegan

You are entirely right, I must have remembered that part wrong. However, there is more than just that that disproves the Tobi is Madara theory to me.
For instance, there's the fact that Madara came back as an Edo in the first place. Seeing as how Edo tensei brings back a soul from death, that means Madara's souls HAD to have been dead. The only possible way to explain this is a full on zetsu clone (which I would doubt, because then Zetsu in my opinion would be in charge when we see Zetsu an Tobi alone, and yet Tobi is still the boss). Another way to explain it I suppose would be that part of Madara's souls died. However that is a strange concept and I don't believe it's realistic.
There's also the fact that Zetsu always refers to Tobi as Tobi, not Madara.
I'm fairly certain I had more reasons, but I can't think of them right now. These are ok for now however.
Okay, I will give Obito theorists this: Tobi has the same hairdo and skin shade, AND obito gained access to sharingan on the same day the bridge collapsed, BUT As everyone else showed, the timeline doesnt match with Obito's ages so

Theres more than one Tobi with the Obito is Tobi theory. Obito Theorists KNOW its impossible for Tobi to have been Obito the whole time. In Fact, we dont hear the name Tobi, unti he joins the Akatski.
For Tobito to make sense Madara have to be the long haired masked man but he was dead by that time so who could have rescued Obito, and don't forget there's no way Obito and Madara could have met, which is another criteria Obito has to fill to be Tobi.
That honestly doesn't prove anything. That is almost certainly just the addition of mokuton to Madara, nothing more.

Yes, but you still seem to be missing my point, this is all just a theory, just like any other. It's as I said, nothing can prove beyond a doubt that Tobi isn't Obito. Haha, you are trying to use persuasion, but your point about them not defending themselves is invalid, if Nagato himself never found Jiraiya, he would have been the same. We don't know the parents circumstances in which they grew up. Also, Madara knew his name. Unless you say Tobi gave the parents the baby, with a "Here, call him Nagato." Though why would the name be so important? You see, it's most likely that the parents were the ones to name him. So in the end, you would still have that aging problem....
When I say other jutsu, I mean ninjutsu. I mean of course I'm not surprised he can use eye techs, since he already kind of does that. From my understanding, the rinnegan itself is like a gateway to all ninjutsu, so the time he uses fire is debatable.
And, he could also very well be sticking to the plan Madara told him to, but just in a different way since it didn't go the way as planned, thus improvising. Kabuto also stated that the war is for capturing the kyuubi.
It all depends on how you look at it, if it is indeed his own philosophy, then yeah. But if it's a philosophy that Madara planted inside his head with the moons eye plan and all, then it just looks like Madara owned him.
To be Izuna, yes he does look young. Anyways, I too believe that Hashi's DNA could have done it, but wanted to get you to admit that yourself as it's also a possibility to why Madara looks young as well.
Now, here's more of the reason why I believe that Izuna isn't Tobi, I didn't have time to post it the other day. It's more of a theory, but it's a theory I strongly believe in. And the theory is, that Izuna Uchiha will be resurrected by Sasuke/Orochimaru (This is all assuming that the scroll carries some type of resurrection technique).
Let's see, I think I will begin with the convo between Sasuke and Tobi after the fight with Itachi.

In the three pages above, on the first one. Notice Sasuke is relating Madara's words to Itachi's. "You stole your brother's eyes." We all know this is the same Sasuke thought Itachi was trying to do to him, Kishi is obviously making these two events very similar, the older brother stealing the younger brother's eyes, I think this part is actually clear.
Then, Sasuke takes notice of Tobi's emotion, I know many points of views have already been explained on this, but one thing is for sure..Sasuke has gathered; an older brother that wanted to protect his clan, and was accused of stealing his younger brother's eyes whom he actually loved. And then that clan that he wanted to protect, turned against him.
Remember, before Tobi started this history lesson, he said that Itachi wanted to "protect" Sasuke.

In the four pages above, Tobi basically stated that the Uchiha were deceived, since it was Senju that wanted the peace treaty. He implied that this was their plan to get rid of their competition, and basically was confirmed (At least for Madara) when Hashi became Hokage. And he, who wanted nothing but the best for the Uchiha, was shunned.

In the last three, he makes it known that their oppression became even more apparent, and that they even tried to rebel, but it was too late. Then the attack happened, and the Uchiha was immediately accused, and we know this leads to them being put down. So basically, in the beginning, the Uchiha was deceived, and in the end, wiped out.
And the only person who tried to stop this was Madara.
I also would like to notes Sasuke's reaction to Itachi's betrayal, "But why? Why would Itachi betray the Uchiha clan." This shows that Sasuke greatly cared for the Uchiha, that even though the Uchiha may have been behind the attack, Itachi should have stood with his clan. This may have been brought on by the story Tobi told.
Also, throughout some of these panels, you can see it appears Sasuke is in deep thought, thinking about what Tobi is saying.
He gets to see an emotional brother that tried to defend the honor of his clan abd brother, much like him.
Now let me expand on this some more. Kishi has made Sasuke's and Madara's role much alike, they both want/wanted to destroy the Leaf. It was just switched from oldest to youngest. They both obtained their brother's eyes, and Madara, because of his younger brother's "sacrifice", couldn't understand why they wanted to live so peacefully, they didn't appreciate the sacrifice of his brother. And with the recent events surrounding Itachi's "second death", he's clearly starting to question everything, whose good, whose bad and so on. He's most likely even wondering if Madara did indeed take his brother's eyes, if he's nothing more than some evil being who desired constant war and power.
Now before I go further, I want to explain why I don't believe its his parents he will revive, I know this is the popular opinion on the base, I too believed it. But Fugaku won't be able to tell him much, he most likely wasn't even aware of Tobi, and telling Sasuke that they weren't behind the fox attack wouldn't change anything. Why? Because Tobi stated that it was just a natural disaster, while Itachi said that it was Tobi's doing. None of them said it was the Uchiha.
Now, look at this page. Juugo says, "The edo tensei of Madara is still around." Anyone can clearly see that Sasuke is shocked. Now I don't believe he knew Madara was revived (Unless I missed something). So now, he knows.
You must be registered for see images
He then thinks about what Itachi said, "The village may be full of contradictions and darkness " immediately after discovering Madara is still alive.
Sasuke says, "I see...so he's still around." He's already starting to get the idea of speaking to Madara. Tobi himself wouldn't really be relevant to Sasuke, because he already heard it all from him. Also, Sasuke says he wishes to speak to "them", automatically taking Tobi out of the equation, since he already heard the history from Tobi, but wishes to speak to "them" to possibly gain a new/different light on the way history has been told.
You must be registered for see images
Anyways, there's something he wants to do....he wants to speak to Izuna as well, to confirm that "brother's bond", just in case Madara lies, he wants to know "everything.". He knows speaking to Madara alone would be pointless, he wants to speak to both "founders" of the Uchiha, both brothers. To get to know everything about the war that was going on and so on.
Now, his problem is that he has no way of speaking to Izuna, so he knows he can't exactly speak to Madara without doubting his words. But then, he's given a scroll...
You must be registered for see images
He says, "This is it....The one who knows everything." He now knows there's a way to resurrect Izuna, and he can now speak to Madara.
Hmmm, I'm going to take a step back, to add more to the theory that the scroll is a resurrection technique, and that Sasuke wants to speak to Madara, which I believe these two things alone adds to the theory that Izuna will be resurrected considering there's another person to be brought back from the dead that Sasuke wishes to speak to in conjunction with Madara.
I begin with the page below, Sasuke is asking himself all kinds of questions, he doesn't know anything, or other words, he doesn't know "everything."

I added that third page because I think it's funny that just when he's questioning everything, Juugo and Suigetsu busts in, coming with information that may lead to his answers. I'm certain Kishi did this on purpose.
Now, in addition to this, notice how Sasuke is just sitting on a rock, not only was he just so confused and didn't know what to do, but was just kinda sitting there after his team arrived. Where am I going with this? That before they came and gave him that scroll, he appears to have no intentions of bringing back Oro, or speaking to "The one who knows everything."

Then when you take into consideration about what I said before, his thoughts about what Itachi said after being so shocked discovering that Madara was around, and then says "This is it." AND later says "them". It greatly implies that he wishes to speak to Madara, and another person that Sasuke/Oro is going to revive.
I also believe it would make a bigger impact this way, I mean to have Izuna ressurected much in a way like Madara (which was epic by the way U_U) than to have him just take off the mask and "Oh, it's Izuna."
Should Madara have actually taken his eyes, the meeting between the two would be even more epic (Yeah I know Izuna won't have his eyes). *__*
I'm going to go waaay back before Sasuke left the village, look at this page. Now for Obito..
You must be registered for see images
If Tobi was revealed to be Obito (Possessing Madara's knowledge) around the same time Madara meets up with them, and Sasuke (with Izuna) meets up with them as well. It would be an emotional scene for not only Kakashi, but also Sasuke I believe. He gets to see who Kakashi was talking about, then some convo between Kakashi and Tobi would be pertaining to "protect" and also peace, and probably the casualties of war, and the meaning of a true shinobi along with the discussion between Madara and Izuna and their history of the shinobi world, mostly during the time when there was nothing but war. And of course, Naruto...
I think this will be the key to open the door to Sasuke's heart again, hearing it all from these people.
EDIT: Will add a little more as to why I don't believe it's Izuna in a moment.
Well put quite simply, I believe Itachi's version of the story.

There's something I find strange, why Izuna didn't speak up either way when they were accusing Madara of taking his brother's eyes?
I can only think of two possibilities, he was speaking up, letting everyone know that Madara forcefully took his eyes away from him (And this is why the clan said he did).
Or...he couldn't speak up, in which case, still implies that Madara silenced him somehow.
Yes, but you still seem to be missing my point, this is all just a theory, just like any other. It's as I said, nothing can prove beyond a doubt that Tobi isn't Obito. after some speech
Izuna: i forgive you.
Madara starts crying and *poof* same way as Itachi.
xd
Izuna's part in the manga can and will be big, as it already happened we just don't know how.
No Rinnegan. no nothing.
