What your talking about is that they put the original and allowed it to play on a different system. What we are talking about is a brand new ff7 with better graphics and everything.

FF7 is still the best of the FF's so far imo.
I don't really have nothing against a remake really to the point if they only change the graphics but usually they get too excited and they change the story or add extra to it.
This kind of stunts easily ruin good and legendary classic games like this.
And the voice acting...
I mean, I can easily play the game with the graphics it has now
But I mean...it would look pretty damn awesome with todays engines. Look at the 13th for example.

Hey, even I think some of the FF's are crappy and made in a whim to make money.
7 is the best imo too but 10 is a really good 2nd

I love the Limit power on 7. I wish they saved that for the sequels
If a remake is made, I just hope they don't make any damatic changes to it.
Otherwise I'm cool with it.

I actually want a FF7 and a FF8 remake. I just tried playing them again the other day and the game's graphics killed my eyes. I also think that they will eventually have to do it to get more $$$$ when they run out of decent ideas.
I'll have to disagree with you here. The FF series is probably one of the very few games that I actually enjoy. You're still entitled to you're opinion though.

Everyone has a point in the argument, but even though I believe Final Fantasy VII is THE best game of the final fantasy series the other games are very good. The only problem with the whole series in general square has a horrible habit of repeating storylines in the general term. For example in a lot of the games there is some sort of ancient evil that's gonna kill everyone. I do believe square does get carried away with the whole remake prospective, but I would love to see the game in better graphics. To another commenter above voice acting can make it horrible depending how you imply it in the game or it can make the game even better (if it's even possible xd). We don't know how square will come about with the whole remake prospective so we all will just have to sit and wait.
