Yeah I feel you, blew away some cash on hadicap results for Portugal and Uruguay today and they only barely manages to win 1-0, bullocks! Not only that but the World Cup as a whole has seemed to been like that, a few years back sides like Argentina under Maradona blew away the small nations 4-5 - 0, lol. A team like Saudi should lose 20-0 every game they play but no....

At least I'm pretty confident my huge bet on Ronaldo becoming Top Scorer is going to go in now which will net me a fine sum regardless.

Justice has been served. Seriously I can understand that when you play against a giant like Spain or Argentina, it's tempting to play hyper defensively, but seriously there are limits. It's not that they can't play more offensive football, they just don't want to. I mean it wasn't even halfway through the first half and Iran was already buying time. Seriously? I can understand when you're approaching the end of the game you start acting like that, it's deplorable but pretty much everyone does it. But come on they were acting like the game was about to end and I was thinking "yo guys, you still have to play 45 minutes O_O".

Indeed but even so they had their fair amount of chances. I totally mispredicted the matches today thinking we would have 15 goals, but instead... Instead we had 3 and 3 matches with 1-0 apiece. As soon as the Portugal game finished, the thought hit me. As a matter of a fact, it's been like this for most part of the World Cup, the big teams just can't kill their games for some reason, whether it be nerves or that they're just safing it in...
