I have so many, but I will pick one for this thread.Who is your favorite character in Naruto and and why do you like said character? This thread is for smart logical people, so I expect a smart and logical response.
Everyone knows I like Naruto and I've elaborated numerous times as to why. So tell me, who is your fav and why?
My favorite character is Gaara. I love everything about him. His story really grabs my emotions and has made me cry multiple times. He has the best character progression. He really matures and we see him do it. I love his fighting style, his appearance, his relationship with his family and Naruto, and everything. I'm doing such a bad job at describing this, but he is my favorite.

My favourites used to be Gaara and Lee from part one but then their characters were forgotten in part two and Gaara became such a pacifist.
Shikamaru is a character I liked consistently from part 1 to part 2 I liked seeing him lead the sasuke retrieval arc and his banter with Temari, and in part 2 he was able to shine a little when he avenged Asuma's death.
A part 2 character I liked was Tobirama as he was the strict and straight to the point. He knew what had to be done and didnt muck around, his only bad choice was making Hiruzen hokage. Hiruzen sat by while the uchiha became madder and madder and didnt do anything to stop the massacre, aswell as Hiruzen not doing anything while Orochimaru reaped havoc and straight up murdered people, not to mention Hiruzen sitting back for 12 years while everyone openly hates and wants to murder Naruto, and leaving Sasuke with his tormented past. (not that Danzo would be better just that I dislike Hiruzen
).

The character has multiple transformations from a genius ninja to a cold hearted killer...to a responsible Anbu...A great sensei with a perverted nature as a hidden aspect(Icha Icha)...a great strategist, fighter. Most importantly he knows when to be strict and when to be cool....WE didn't see him getting a family or something would have been interesting to see him in that role too..
Obito, because our personalities and life paths have a lot of similarities. I can relate myself to this character. I also like him for his Tobi persona, it was the most badass shit throughout the whole series for me. I remember, when I was a kid, the look of his mask in some openings used to intimidate me. When I knew nothing about Naruto, I was like "man, that's gotta be the strongest and most evil character in this anime".

Can killer be make a huge sword of blackflames, a long light saber or a huge humanoid monster with meteorite-busting blades?
His sword style isn't my favorite as I prefer a single huge sword Like Mihawk from one piece and Seigfreid from soul Calibur or dual blades.
Kisame and Zabuza are already favorites but Sasuke has way more variety in sword styles.
The only time I like the use of multiple swords is with shit like Vergils's summoned swords.
