Thee are wayyy to many reasons I like Naruto. So I'm going to say Madara. But then again there are wayyy to many reasons why madara is my fav. So I'll say Killerbee. But there are wayyyyy to many reasons I like Killerbee. So I'll just say Toneri. But there are wayyyy to many reasons I like Toneri. So I'll just say Kinshiki. But there was wayyy to many reasons I like Kinshiki. So I'll say Momoshiki. But there are wayyyyy to many reasons I like momoshiki. So

Who is your favorite character in Naruto and and why do you like said character? This thread is for smart logical people, so I expect a smart and logical response.

Everyone knows I like Naruto and I've elaborated numerous times as to why. So tell me, who is your fav and why? ​

I can't really pick only one. I have three favorite characters (and by that I mean characters as in pieces of the plot, nothing else) - Sasuke, Itachi and Naruto.

Sasuke - in my opinion, he's the best written character in the manga, followed tightly by Itachi. I know it's probably not the most popular opinion as many fans like Sasuke because of his 'cool', his attitude, techniques etc, but to me his story is what makes him totally amazing. I find the changes in his character which he constantly suffered being very realistic unlike most of the things in the manga. As in, I can totally see a child break like he did when his clan had been purged. I can totally see this child want to be aloof and focus on nothing but revenge. I can totally see him admit his mistakes and choose the right path in the end, finally seeing that even in his life there still can be light and happiness. In my opinion, this is what makes him incredibly strong and admirable. Originally I wasn't that fond of him, thinking that he would stay a classic shonen antagonist 'till the end, but that chapter when he decided to protect Konoha made me see him in a totally different light.

Itachi - I don't think it really needs any explanation. Is it even possible to not like Itachi as a character? Everything about him is great. The only reason why I personally don't put him above Sasuke is because if I was Kishimoto, I would've given Itachi more backstory. As in about his days as a shinobi of Konoha and as an ANBU. That would've made him a lot more deep and tragic in my opinion.

Naruto - he used to be my fav for many years ever since the Pain arc. I absolutely loved how he grew up from being a nuisance to someone who resembled Minato, Kushina and Jiraiya at the same time. The only reason why he ceased to be my favorite was my own expectations of his character. Seeing as he was growing up with each arc, becoming more and more mature and realistic, I seriously wanted him to change, to see him becoming someone like Hashirama in the end - to put peace and his village above his childhood memories and to fight Sasuke with killing intent. Unfortunately enough he didn't change that much, so to me he remained a typical shonen manga protagonist, which ruined my perception of him as a character quite a lot. But I still like everything about him up to like chapter 690 or something, so he takes his deserved 3d place in my list.

But it turned into Obito. Hes different and a character, that wveryone could be, if you imagine living his life... He is a sad character, always trying to find himself, that's like humans are, or that's a little bit like i am. He was always trying to give his best, lost his path, but still gabe everything for his goal. His ending made me cry, when he finally met Rin after all that struggle.

I also loved his powers. His fighting style was unique.

I agree. OT: I love the crazy MS Sasuke the most. I felt he was genuinely better than all the other versions of him and the best character at that point. Most people couldn't handle the hard core emotions and actions of him so he had to be mellowed down. I view this version a totally different person to what he was at the end of the manga. I found his actions natural and the ninja system was nothing but full of garbage, so I was glad that someone finally had enough of the Konoha's crap.

Itachi: I started appreciating him, after he came back as an Edo Tensai and I felt that he stated what I had in mind. He owned up to his mistakes and didn't force Sasuke to choose a path. Yeah, I like saying Hitachi a lot but he's technically the best character since he's the only one that has the right direction. He's an iconic anime character, his crows and tear troughs(lines down his face) made him a legend in his own right. He's the coolest thing I have ever laid my eyes on...but he's not my favourite because my loyalty towards Sasuke is unshakeable. It's going to stay like that even afterlife.

Madara: I mainly liked him through his badassery and his hairstyle but after going through flashblacks of him as a child, I found him more human and grown to like his character as well as his abilities.

Sasori: Like above, liked his puppet mastery but then after seeing flashbacks of him I enjoyed his unique story. It annoyed me that he was ruled off so early and fighting against a character I used to loathe the most. It was hard to find a replacement for a unique character like that for me.

Pain: Tendo Pain, he felt like a true final villain and a unique won that screams "the ultimate villain of Naruto". I love the way he pins down Naruto and lectures him, it was good direction.

I agree. OT: I love the crazy MS Sasuke the most. I felt he was genuinely better than all the other versions of him and the best character at that point. Most people couldn't handle the hard core emotions and actions of him so he had to be mellowed down. I view this version a totally different person to what he was at the end of the manga. I found his actions natural and the ninja system was nothing but full of garbage, so I was glad that someone finally had enough of the Konoha's crap.

Itachi: I started appreciating him, after he came back as an Edo Tensai and I felt that he stated what I had in mind. He owned up to his mistakes and didn't force Sasuke to choose a path. Yeah, I like saying Hitachi a lot but he's technically the best character since he's the only one that has the right direction. He's an iconic anime character, his crows and tear troughs(lines down his face) made him a legend in his own right. He's the coolest thing I have ever laid my eyes on...but he's not my favourite because my loyalty towards Sasuke is unshakeable. It's going to stay like that even afterlife.

Madara: I mainly liked him through his badassery and his hairstyle but after going through flashblacks of him as a child, I found him more human and grown to like his character as well as his abilities.

Sasori: Like above, liked his puppet mastery but then after seeing flashbacks of him I enjoyed his unique story. It annoyed me that he was ruled off so early and fighting against a character I used to loathe the most. It was hard to find a replacement for a unique character like that for me.

Sasori and Pein are awesome ::devil:: But what about Kakuzu Hidan and Diedara. I thought they were pretty cool too. Kisame is also one of my fav all time Akatuski members.

Those 3 are good, but because they have a lack of backstory or an interesting backstory they weren't so enjoyable for me. Kisame was loyal and icy I liked that.
