Good chapter 4/5. Would have been 5/5 if the fight lasted longer or if the spirit king wrecked the enemy instead of the landscape.

I wonder will Lucy ever be able to summon aqua again.

Nice chapter, Lucy got a power up and the battle between the Spirit king and Hades is awesome, I wonder if Natsu and the others are free, i would still like to see Grey vs Silver.

So no Aquarius from now on....May be we can see Lucy using all types of her Spirit Powers in near future.....A good Powerup for Lucy
So this chapter confirmed that King of Hades and Celestial spirit Kings are fighting from a Long time

I have mo words to describe how epic this chapter is

I feel a bit iffy about this power up. Is it permanent or temporary? Because, the core principle behind a celestial mage is to rely on the spirits and work with them in a battle. By doing this, Lucy broke a taboo in a sense: she broke the key, absorbing Aquarius magic into herself and becoming able to use it. Not exactly sure I enjoy this plot line. Though it may be a temporary thing allowed by the king of spirits.

King of Hades is really really powerful. A bit too much so for even the spirit king. I don't see the spirit king winning.

All in all, its I think the first attempt that Hiro has made of provoking a real plot twist with unforeseeable results and a certain negative plot line (Aquarius is..."dead" for lucy, lucy absorbs the powers of her friend, committing what can be seen as a "sin")... Perhaps we'll see more of these in the future.

It was enjoyable and all but not my favorite chapter

Kinda confused about some things, it appeared that Lucy was able to inherit Aquarius' powers. Is this a one time gift of the SK or will she now always be able to do this once she summons Aquarius ?

That would open doors for massive growth if Lucy can control all her spirits like that. Imagine her in Tauros form XD

But on the other hand, what is the drawback for breaking a key ? Sure you lose a friend but 1) the spirit king comes out to fight and 2) you get the powers of that key. I think we might see a lot "common Lucy, just break a key!!" next time she's in a pinch, if this isn't explained properly.

This chapter was a good comeback after last week, 4/5. Finally Lucy has some balls back after always relying on others.

I too was thinking of that lately,She indeed broke the taboo U_U....I think Aquarius willing give her life and Spirit King give her Powers of Aqarius so I think it is not that a breaking of a rule

@ bold - I think Lucy lost the Contract of summoning Aquarius or Aquarius might dissappeared.....It would be awesome if Lucy went into Aquarius Mode when she wants to

@ Red - I hope we will get a Proper explanation.....I think to summon the Celestial Spirit King one need enough magic power as Mard guille said in today's chapter "I didn't think there is someone who can summon SK".......Here Lucy summoned SK by a breaking of a key(shortcut)....So I think Lucy will use all the powers of the Celestial spirits at the end but without breaking the keys and will be able to summon SK

No, for some reason I also have the feeling after this chapter that the SK won't win this. That scares me because that would mean someone else have to do it, and it better not be Natsu.

If Natsu beats him after the SK wasn't able to I will flip my lid, same goes for Gray and Silver/Silva. Would be acceptable if Gildarts made a comeback but even he shouldn't be stronger than the SK. I hope Makarov gets a good fight. He always gets taken down early in the arc so that he is unable to fight, but it has been a long while and this seems like a nice opportunity to go all out. He still needs to 'release the light'

Awesome chapter. The Celestial Spirit King and King of Hades are both insanely strong and Lucy was pretty awesome aswell. Makes sense that the Celestial Spirit King didn't leave Lucy defenceless. 5/5

too don't want Natsu to defeat King of hades......Yeah agreed Gildarts or makarov would be fine
I think release of the light is something to do about END....Recently I am getting thoughts of Gildarts would have been killed offpaneled by Zeref...that would be great for Natsu's character deevelopement.....Do you think there is a chance for 4 gods of Ishval to show up after SK loses this fight?

Next chapter title is "Galaxia Blade" - I think that is something to do with SK power

Well, the King of Hades is truly truly relaxed when facing one of the most powerful beings in the universe. Not only that but both knew about each other which isn't that normal. I mean, that a human knew about the spirit king...meh perhaps. But that the spirit king knows a human by name? And showing the knowledge of exactly who or what he is?

This all leads me to believe that SK will lose the fight and in the end, probably only the combined efforts of them all will be able to defeat the King of Hdes.
