Thats true about the bushins but sharingan has never shown to keep up with gates speed? sharingan can t even keep up with bees kenjutsu although its still impressive. If gai knows about the bushin clones then he will be most cautios about attacking kakashi and in saying that he can use his surrondings to get rid of clones. e.g strong fist into the ground to depleate bushins durability thus making it dissapear ect. If it were that easy to defeat gai kakashi would have done it long ago in their duels and if he did that confirmed that gai knnows about his raiton bushins



what is the first gate going to do for him? i could understand if he could enter at least 3 because thats when speed increases. 5 gates is all gai needs to blitz kakashi. If taka sasukes sharingan is better than current kakashis in terms of keeping up with his foe and struggled on bees kenjutsu then gais speed in gates i ssure to devastate kakashi.

Because of the properties of gates. the raiton clones effect may not even work, and if it does gai could escape it fairly easily since gates re-energises your system and breaks some muscle tissue. so in saying that hes regenerating the paralysed muscles

Elbow jolt is more based on burte force and for that reduces speed. HOWEVER it is still fast but as i said it reduced his speed a bit. The fact that sasuke knew ay was charging at him just made it easier for him to anticipate hsi move at that point (which was charging forward... not hard to anticipate). I agree sharingan can keep up with certain levels of speed but i believe there is a cap for how fast they can keep up for
