Naruto having the fox chakra and bm and sage mode have allowed him to get away with a lot of shit it can't be argued. Naruto gets his ass handed to him by neji, there fox chakra is. Naruto constantly goes in head first with shadow clones and whatever new form of rasengan he has at his disposal. He's not the complete idiot he was then but he still isn't as smart as sasuke.
