Not on little things.
Things like becoming Hokage, finding peace in the world or changing the views of others.
Take into account what he wanted to do, his views and experiences.
The one time I wanted him to fail was when pain attacked konoha. I really wanted him to kill Nagato in that tree instead of following Jiraiya's views.
But if I look back on it I see that decision was paramount to his character.
At the beginning Naruto only sought acknowledgement and the means to protect the ones he cared for.
Up until this point, Naruto never had loss on this level. His parents being gone was a phantom pain as it happened during birth. Naruto grew up years with the pain of loneliness. It was only now that he felt such a large degree of loss. His home, friends, teachers and people he wanted to acknowledge him were dead or dying and he was face to face with the grim reaper itself.
Before pain, Naruto proved he is willing to kill any threat that harmed those we held dear if it came down to it. This is made apparent with Haku, Deidara and orochimaru.
His views changed after realizing Jiraiya's words.
Had he succumbed to his urges it would have had a lasting and negative effect on Naruto as a character. It would have been a failure to endure much like Sasuke's descent into darkness. Over the death of his clan.
He grew to realize that there were bigger things than Acknowledgement and titles. That while he thought of such things that peace, enduring, and hatred were shaping the world and made people like Nagato.
Eventually he learned what it means to be a hokage and the responsibility it held.
The waterfall of truth absolved him of his inner demons and self pity. It was why he was able to look past it and grow.
The things he learned and experiences influenced generations. The event of Neji's death marked the 4th time someone placed their life down to protect him (that he was aware of). The others being Iruka, Hinata, and Sasuke. It was one of the reasons why Neji's death had an impact on him.
Naruto has a martyr complex involving willful suffering in the name of love or duty. This often drives him to give his all for the sake of everyone than be responsible for a single death on his account.
Hinata who shared his views reminds him of his experiences. Both Kurama and Sasuke does this.
Naruto endures Neji's, his parents and the NA's deaths and opts to bring Obito to justice than kill him where he laid. Following his teacher and fellow pupils views.
Naruto's unrivaled ability to understand and empathize with anyone due to his own pain empowers him to be the bigger person in these situations and understand when people are being true to themselves. Obito came to terms with all he did and where he stood with Naruto and the world. Using his final essence to atone for what he's done.
Naruto acknowledges the true Obito who had wanted to a hokage as someone great.
Tl;Dr: Naruto's growth is great and he isn't one to forgive or forget. But rather endure and acknowledge.
