If i made a thread and just made a statement about who i think would win then yes, its strongly opinion based. If i looked at abilities and everything else it becomes even and unbiased. I do however agree that its very hard to change people mind on nb U_U

imo i cant really see jiraiya losing to kisame.

since that statement about kisame losing to jiraiya was made in part 1 if we strictly go by part 1 abilities j man would beat kisame.

going by part 2 abilities jiraiya was stated to be able to beat pain with knowledge who was the strongest in akatsuki so at the very most kisame can stalemate jiraiya with extreme difficulty.

I will re-post my post, since my post was left far behind with no one answering to me

ACTUALLY J-man can absorb nature's chakra at any moment without the need of pa and ma OBVIOUSLY WITH THE RISKS..... He just needs the perfect timing, when Kisame is attacking to absorb chakra to stop himself from transforming and give the nature's chakra to kisame.....

Naruto wasn't on Sage mode, but tried to enter while Petra path was absorbing his chakra causing him to turn into stone.

as you said before only Kishi knows the answer, but have in mind that Characters such as: Minato, Hiruzen, Zabuza, Haku, Oro, all of them and many more died too soon. While according to story Hiruzen is a prodigy, god of shinobis, but HIS SKILLS LACKED DEVELOPEMENT THROUGHT "TV ON AIR TIME", while characters such as: Gaara, A, Naruto, Sasuke, etc were always improving and seemed more stronger than those who died soon and couldn't show more of their skills "on air", making them look weaker.

In my opinion it is a pretty even fight, but Jiraiya takes it

you have listed characters names and said nothing

the point is that supposedly there are characters that have gotten more airtime than others and are able to show more amazing things than those that were taken down too soon. Those characters that were taken down too soon will always stay the same, unless a filler episode or any memory thing happens, other than that they will stay the same. Meanwhile a character who hasn't been killed, kishi can always add some new stuff just to make that person fight on par of the "new overpowered ones"

in this case....... Jiraiya died with us knowing about him....... Swamp of underworld, summonings, sage mode (and all the stuff within it), strong fire jutsus. But Kisame died much later, (showing us stuff that can par him on 8 tailed bee's level, which in my opinion Jiraiya wouldn't be able to do as far as the moment when he died)

some characters development stop in a certain, but others will get bigger developements to fight the main characters on par.
hope you have understood my point.

AND I JIRAIYA CAN STILL ABSORB NATURE'S CHAKRA, WITHOUT THE NEED OF PA OR MA, HE JUST NEED THE PERFECT TIMING TO NOT TURN INTO A FROG STATUE AND LET KISAME STEAL THAT NATURE'S CHAKRA

I think you are not understanding what I say.

It is true that Jiraiya is not able to control Sage Mode, BUT HE IS ABLE TO ABSORB THE NATURE'S CHAKRA, which if it is absorbed in the right moment when Kisame attacks, THAT VERY SAME CHAKRA will be transferred to Kisame Samehada. OBVIOUSLY THIS HAS THE RISK OF TURNING JIRAIYA INTO A FROG, BUT IT IS MUCH OF A GAMBLE.

its a huge gamble considering kisame could still attack while doing this making the chakra unbalanced if kisame absorbs the chakra with his sword.

it is a huge gamble, if Kisame realizes what Jiraiya is doing it's only time for Jiraiya to turn into stone, but if Kisame doesn't realizes that and directly attacks Jiraiya, Jiraiya will be left without Nature chakra, because he will most likely stop it. The sword would be turned into stone and Kisame himself will be an easier match for base jiraiya and further more SM Jiraiya.
