Ems provide infinte inzanagi (read before flaming)

rinnegan allows you to perform any jutsu that you like...as you've said nagato was given rinnegan...he didn't have it originally, plus the fact that he doesn't have hashirama's cell inside him...it was stated a thousand times in the manga, hashirama had very special powers...
so6p have both body and eyes: the complete one and not experiment...madara only had eyes, that's why he searched for hashirama's power...tobi and danzo had mixed both as well, that's why they can perform it...but even tobi said that it is an incomplete izanagi...
this is also the reason why tobi is keeping a spare of sharingan in his eye as he doesnt want to waste the rinnegan's power...in case his S/T jutsu isn't enough to stop the enemy's attack...he can spare one eye for izanagi...

Nice thread macho... The ems grants eternal light and can never lose it's light even after using izanagi, but sasuke can't use izanagi since he doesn't possess the senju DNA required for it.

ya dude i was reading and i was thinking sasuke cant use it bcuz he doesnt have senju cell and then i saw wat u said about zetsu and i was like oh yaaaaa i forgot

I like the theory but I'm not too sure. I will say this though. Tobi did say that Danzo was only able to perform an incomplete form of Izanagi. Which I'm not too sure what that means exactly. I wonder what happens when you unlock the Rinnegan and use Izanagi. If the SO6P was able to use this ability from time to time then my guess is that the Rinnegan is the secret in fully controlling Izanagi without losing the light.

3: The Sage used Creation of all things,which is a superior jutsu. Also, the bloodlines we have now,are so dilute that the techniques the sage used then are not like when he used them. Additionally,there are many things about the Sage that could mean he was able to use certain techniques,without side affect.
4: Izanagi lasts about a second and was only able to last longer thanks to Oro.
5: Izanagi 'seals' the eye,it doesn't cause degredation.
6: No one yet has used Izanagi and had their eye stay open.
7: If EMS meant you could spam Izanagi,Madara would have done so against Hashirama.
There seem to be several factors surrounding the Izanagi which make me believe it isn't as simple as obtaining EMS & Senju DNA and then being able to spam it. If that were the case,Madara would still be here...not edo.....

sasuke did know it fully from danzo fight.He did plant an genjutsu at the beginning of the fight which show that he had an knowledge of izanagi before the fight1: Izanagi requires Senju DNA(been said a million times)

Sasuke was testing to see if he could put Danzo under a Genjutsu. Because he was able to use them,he used another at the end of the fight to alter Danzo's perception of how many Izanagi he had left. This was of course thanks to Karin telling Sasuke about it and him noticing the link between the eyes shutting after each Izanagi was used.

Sasuke did not know about the Izanagi from the start. He used his brain to figure out the links between the technique and the eyes shutting. That doesn't mean he was able to decipher the technique at all.

I'm 100% sure Infinite Izanagi is going to kill the Naruto Manga. If someone constantly in a world where he can control Reality and (The other thingy) then why would anyone want to fight him? Sasuke struggled against Danzo when Danzo's Izanagi wasn't even longer then 5 minutes
