Earthen Temple

A landmark that borders the Port of Innovus and the Fist of the First Men. The land was once entirely normal on the surface, trees and grass only giving way to the occasional tunnel. Now it is all submerged beneath the Swamp of Aeonia.

Hundreds of meters below the surface, however, is a great complex tunnel system which comprises what is rumored to be known as the Earthen Temple. The temple seems to be connected, by hidden tunnels, to the Port of Innovus and the Fist of the First Men. The temple seems to have been a hiding space for many humans thousands of years ago, taking sanctuary from some ancient war. Now the tunnels are almost entirely clogged with the Basmu's corrupting authority, and those that aren't are home to new life that has bloomed forth from the swamp.

Coming from x

  • Explore and survive a dangerous landmark site
  • Destroy an unholy shrine

Alucard and Akemi arrived in the next land. The sign said Earthen Temple which was kinda weird but they carried onwards.
Having arrived at a small town, they checked in at the local inn and made themselves comfortable like the heroic travelers they had become. Trying to get more information about the lands and its mysterious title, Alucard decided to press himself into the bar inbetween two ladies. He would immediately put on his charm-face.

..sup?

The two women looked at eachother and then towards Alucards expansive weaponry that he carried on his back. His two swords, the ninja weaponry and the seals he had on his body. They then looked towards eachother again and seemed to only move their moves to form silent words. It looked like they said something like "We could ask him right?". One of the ladies then coughed awkwardly and proceeded to look Alucard in the eyes while the other one ordered her and Alucard a drink.

So, are you bounty hunter or something? Ain't no shinobi up here just roaming around and not belonging anywhere without being a bounty hunter.

Pfft gurl, ofc i am. But i actually am part of a clan.
Oh yeah? which one?
We're called the Hellsing Organisation.
Never heard of it..
It's just me

... z_z

Alucard turned around and towards the drink he was given. It was looking real damn good and as a result he took a sip. Turns out it was the local brew. He had a long nice chat with the ladies until it was time for bed. The next morning, Alucard woke up to the glorious dawn. He had come across very interesting information about something hidden beneath the ground under this land. Apparently it was crowded by god forsaken tunnels and remnants of an ancient battle that nobody had explored fully or even gradually. Alucard therefore went on a bit of a side-quest after having dragged his truly; Akemi with him from their rooms bed. Upon taking a slight detour, Alucard and Akemi reached what seemed to be a pit a bit east of the road. Having engulfed himself in high spirits and decided to open the hornets nest by making a high jump and channel his body with earth chakra to make himself very heavy. This caused the already brittle soil to break into shards as Alucard landed on the ground and excavated one of the many tunnels that were scattered underneath the land.

(Doton: Kajūgan no Jutsu) - Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A ( +20 if used to add damage)
Description: The user will perform the Snake handseal and touch a given target (he needs to use his hands in most cases but can release the technique through his whole body if needed) for a small time frame. Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

The small hole that penetrated the tunnel that Alucards body had created as he slammed through it wasnt illuminating much in the dank and mysterious place. Akemi joined soon after, creating a somewhat bigger hole. The light source got bigger thanks to that and revealed more strange things. A strange hardened substance was splatter across the walls, roof and floor of the tunnel. There were a few skeletons around too. Alucard would use Akemis natural bio luminescence to guide the way. After just a few hundred meters, it felt like they were going even deeper underground as the tunnel sloped downwards. Not sure what to make of the sensation, they carried onwards but after a few minutes of further walking they could start to hear things. The skeletons were piled into a scarcer degree but when in larger piles. Whatever that meant.. The psychological stress was all part of the game for whoever lurked in the darkness. Soon enough, there was a distance noice something that sounded like an ice cold gasp. Alucard wasn't sure at this point that he wanted to continue but with a warm pat on the back from one of Akemis tentacles, he felt better. The further they went through the tunnels, the louder the more present the sounds became and suddenly they saw what seemed to be the shape of a giant centipede with biolouminescent spots, not too unfamilliar with Akemis spots. The centipede went straight for Akemi, who would a swift blow bashed its fangs to the wall which caused a huge tremor in the tunnel system. If more beasts wasn't awake before, they certainly where now. Nevertheless, the beast was k'o-d with the blow and Alucard went for a finishing head-cutter move with his bismuth sword. Now there were one thousand screams heading towards them both front and back. Alucard and Akemi swapped places, having Alucard in the lead. It was time he finally used the metal foam to its full potential. He started to turn himself into palladium foam which gave him a speed boost as well as the ability to basially become a razor sharp sponge, cleaning out the sewer system of this forsaken tunnel. Akemi would try and keep up and use her tentacles against enemies that came from behind them.

Parajiumufōmu: Inshiriko | Palladium Foam release: InSilico)
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: S-rank
Range: Short-mid
Chakra: 40(-20/turn)
Damage: 80(on touch)
Description: InSilico is an advanced application of the palladium foam release and lets the user take the form of the initial release to benefit from its S/W upon facing a jutsu or otherwise. The user will transform themselves into the metal foam while still maintaining their original size they become quite light and flexible but also very sharp. This is an extremely good counter for taijutsu, kenjutsu and any sort of elemental interaction that is weak towards the metal foam. The user will become faster than before and become very flexible as they are very spongy. A speed boost of 1.5x is granted as well as good evasive manouvers since the user can flex into forms that a metal foam can be compressed/stretched to. In this form, the user can only utilise elements that palladium foam is made out of. This includes fūton/katon/doton. The user can compress themselves to maintain an exremely sharp surface at certain areas or decompress and be able to take on huge kinetic damage as the air spores in the metal foam will absorb and constraint on impact. The user may reform to normal at any time after taking this form.

Note: Usable twice per battle, lasting up to three turns per use.
Note: No A rank and above parajiumufōmu and no S rank and above Fire/Earth techniques after usage for one turn.
Note: Can only be taught by Skorm.

They started sprinting. Alucard put on a huge grin as he saw the bioluminescence of hundreds of creatures coming at them. Effortlessely and gracefully(for being a sponge), he would cut through every single beast he came across and the ones he didn't cut through himself, would simply cut themselves to pieces as they rammed into his metal foam body. Akemi kept pushing back the contraband that kept coming from behind them.

This shit is why i love being a ninja, RIGHT HERE
We're not out of this yet you imbecile.

Alucard and Akemi had now rushed through the tunnel, smashing and slashing through countless mediocre beasts. This would finally take them to a door frame that ended the tunnel from the direction they came from. They stopped briefly and had a breather. There were no more enemies behind them except a few stranglers which Alucard tore to shreds with his form. Soon as they were disposed of, he would de-activate his InSilico mode and revert back to his regular composure. Akemi tried to smash the end of the tunnel in with his might tentacles but nothing happened as much as a small tremor was felt everywhere else through the floor and roof of the tunnel. He then tried using his lightning release which just caused a burning spark on impact with the tough surface.

What the..?
Move aside Akemi, i've.. got this i think
Pft..

Alucard gathered up his chakra and used his particle style after having performed a short sequence of seals. He would spawn a small cube from his palms and expand it rapidly as it left his hands. The cube was big enough to fit both him and Akemi through it while also small enough not to destroy the entire frame in case it was a holding structure for the ceiling of the tunnel. A cave in here would be game over afterall.

Jinton, genkai hakuri no jutsu!

(Jinton: Genkai Hakuri no Jutsu) - Detachment of the Primitive World Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: C-S(C)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15-40(35)
Damage: 30-80(90)
Description: The user first performs a short sequence of handseals: Rat → Boar → Snake, then creates a basic 3D-shaped construct via Dust Release between the palms of their hands. A small sphere is located at its centre. The structure expands rapidly in size when being propelled towards the designated target and traps them inside its confines. The sphere then seems to explode with a tremendous amount of force, while the exterior walls of the structure effectively restrict the size of the blast radius. This results in the destruction of everything and anyone caught within, as they are pulverised into minute particles of dust. The technique isn't limited to just affecting physical matter; it can also affect chakra-based defenses. But the resulting damage that this technique can produce varies considerably, depending on the initial shape of the created structure..

Cuboid Structure: A form manipulating the Dust Release structure into a very generic three-dimensional cube. While the cube's surface area is rank-dependent, its shape also enables localized destruction and entrapment. Unlike the other shape alternatives, this form is always limited to just short-range when used.

Conical Structure: A form manipulating the Dust Release structure into a simplistic three-dimensional cone. While the cone's base diameter is rank-dependent, its base is always located in front of the user's hands with the pointed end poised at the desired target. It has an intermediary reach, extending up to mid-range.

Cylindrical Structure: A form manipulating the Dust Release structure into a basic three-dimensional cylinder. While the cylinder's diameter is rank-dependent, it is unique amongst shapes in extending up to long-range.

Note: The surface area of the cube form is 1m² at C-rank, 3m² at B-rank, 5m² at A-rank, 15m² at S-rank.
Note: The diameter of the cone and the cylinder is 1m at C-rank, 2m at B-rank, 4m at A-rank, 8m at S-rank.
Note: Only useable by Mū and Ōnoki bios. Clones are unable to use it.

The door was defeated and left a 5x5 hole, enough for Alucard and Akemi to just walk through. Whatever material it was made out if, it was very sturdy as its cut though edges didnt even budge or crumble.

Must've been some sort of enchanted alloy perhaps.. Whatever it is, i cannot destroy it.
Can only mean that whoever made this place did not want us to come this way..

They pressed onwards, being on their guard every secound. It felt like anything could happen at this point for the both of them. The tunnels started to feel like the descended even more rapidly at this point but after another hour of silent walking it leveled out. The walls now started to shine of bioluminescent red light and shifted in tone and color as you came closer to them, revealing golden glyphs on the sides. This place looked to be ancient for sure. The walls themselves were now also looking to consist of the same ultra sturdy material as the doorway they had to use Alucards particle style to get through. That meant that if they ran into a cave-in there would be very little they could do.. Upon reaching what seemed to be the end of the vast tunnel system, a large structure that reminded them of a temple, would come before them. A sealed door was infront of them, illuminating with light and covered with glyphs. Wasting no time either admiring it or even trying to decipher its messages, Alucard would perform a single seal and form an outgoing field of particle chakra and disintigrated anything that was in its vicinity, including the door.

(Jinton: Rasutaraizu | Dust Release: Rasterize)
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: B-S(B)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20-40(30)
Damage: 40-80(80)
Description: The user will expand a 3D field using their own body as a base for the expansion of the technique. This means the 3D shape expands around the user in all directions. Depending on the rank of the technique it will reach short(B rank, up to 5 meters around the user), mid(A rank, up to 8 meters around the user) and long(S rank, up to 15 meters around the user). Everything that is captured in the field(that has a cubic formation at the edge) will be disintigrated which will essentially rasterize the user away from their surroundings and leave them intact while everything around them is disintigrated. B rank can be used at all times, requiring a single seal. A rank can be used three times, once every secound turn and requires two seals. S rank can be used twice, requiring a cooldown of three turns and requires three handseals.

Note: Can only be taught by Skorm.

This time, the particle style did the job once again but what was revealed behind the door was rather unsettling. Three levatating humanoids with shrugged green cloaks were circling a pedestal with a red glowing bronze head. They spotted Alucard and Akemi and turned their faces towards them. Resembling nothing what Alucard had ever seen before, the humanoid aliens started to scream in a high tremor, so hard that you could almost see the shockwave of each soundwave coming.. Was in chakra infused.. sound? Alucard directed his dark marks towards the shockwaves of sound and manifested the dark nature of the marks to vacuum the area and remove the medium of the soundwaves; air. One of the humanoids would unleash a shockwave water towards Alucard and Akemi. The third one would launch a lightning attack at the same time, travelling through the water. Alucards only defense to such a high end combo was..

PLAN C!!

Alucard's converted dark chakra covered a fortress of bones that would be covered in dark chakra, making it able to withstand the water because of the bones and the lightning because of the dark element infused into it.
(Shikotsumyaku/Meiton: Puran C | Plan C)
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive
Rank: A/S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60-80
Description: Plan C is a technique that combines dark release and dead bone pulse. The user absorbs either an A or S rank technique through their marks, whichever rank the absorption is is directly translated to the rank this technique will become. If A rank chakra is absorbed, this technique becomes A rank for example. They will then channel that dark chakra towards their dormant leg. The user will then stomp with the leg and channel a massive amount of bones in a 360 degree circle around them. The bones will excavate into razor sharp claws all lines up without any space in-between them. This stretches up to short range for A-rank usage but mid range for S-rank. As these bones form, the user channels the converted dark chakra through their feet and into the claws, coating them in dark chakra. The claws can get up to 5 meters tall for A-rank and 10 meters for S-rank. The dead bone pulse and dark chakra is divided 50/50 in this technique. B+B rank, A+A rank respectively. A rank can be used 3 times with a single turn cool down, S rank can be used twice with a two turn cooldown.

Note: Can only be taught by Skorm

This fortress would expand outwards and cut the humanoids in half, leaving them shrieking before turning into dust. This caused the pedestal and bronze figure to let out a shockwave that slammed Alucard and Akemi into the wall and pressed them towards it with magnificent power. It also seemed like their chakra was getting drained rapidly as they were pinned on the spot against the walls of the shrine. Alucard looked towards Akemi, who was unconscious and looked back towards the screaming head in the middle of the room. He could then feel the tunnels and rocks around them starting to rumble. Was this the end?

Fcckiiiiinnnggstuphiiddthhiingg

Alucard could not perform handseals or let alone move fully in the current situation. Facing the inner circle and the idol of what he assumed to be an accursed piece depicting Molag Bal, he would start feeling his skin being pushed off his bones and starting to get ripped apart as well. With his palms facing the walls of the room, Alucard would channel his bones through it and circle around the room, turning into shrapnels of steel-hardened bones that would fiercly shoot towards the idol.

( Hone Kiba ) - Bone Fangs
Type: Attack
Rank: A
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 35
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user places both hands on the ground and sends a frenzy of bone spikes racing towards the target above the ground surface.
It seemed like it was effective, and thus Alucard kept at it while looking towards Akemi and making sure she was okey, which by the looks of it wasn't going to be a fact for long if it continued like this. Raised with spite and anger, Alucard would combine his bones with an electric charge that he released from his entire body, hoping to disable the idol from its powers. Lucky for him it worked and as a result, the statue shattered into a thousand pieces that spread out throughout the room in the temple.

(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short (Mid if channeled through a medium)
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A (+10 if used to boost weapon damage)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

Alucard was back on his feet again with a battered Akemi, still unconscious lying on the floor. They were definitely in a bad spot still as the destruction of the idol meant the entire cave and tunnel system had started to take crumble. Alucard had at this point lost 50% of his skin and was not very mobile but he didn't let himself die in such a manner. Especially not Akemi. Alucard slammed both of his hands on the ground, one of which were basically just skeletal, and channeled a massive amount of doton chakra into the floor. He then raised their current position like a pedestal and took them the surface in a rocketing speed.

(Doton: Kaido Shōkutsu) - Earth Style: Opening Earth Rising Excavation
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: With the technique, the user can bring up something from deep within the ground by slamming his hands on the ground and manipulating it to forcefully make whatever is contained in it to be expelled upwards. The result of this technique has the appearance of an erupting volcano and can vary in size depending on the users needs.

The end result looked like something of an opening of a volcano with him and Akemi in its crater. They were safe from the tunnels now, not that there were any of them left but still.

Well, lesson learned, if i see anymore of those fucking things i will not hesitate to blow it up instantly..

Alucard grabbed the body of Akemi and sunk her body mass through his earth release to carry her and him quicker through ought the land so that they could get to a nearby village much faster and get medical help and rest.

(Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A (-20 if used to boost speed of a physical attack)
Description: Contrary to its counterpart (the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique), instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter, though still using the same principle and mechanics. The user will make direct contact with the given target (through his hands), infusing them with earth chakra and lowering their weight drastically. The technique can lower a targets weight up to 10 times less than it originally had. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows. The same principle applies if used on a physical attack wich will be faster but will carry less momentum and as such, less physical damage. It doesn't change the "strength" of binding techniques (like Sand Release), where the user is manipulating a dynamic element but will decrease the impact damage of techniques that rely on it.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turns or until countered.

Well rested up and letting Alucards kekkei genkai heal his wounds, they stayed at a village over the night and after that would leave for the eastern landmarks of Tobusekai willing to extinguish the plauge of darkness that had been created by this heathen of a sorcerer.

Alucard and his Edo continued south and ended up at the familiar place known as the Earthen Temple. Here he had written history, and more information was there to gather in the surrounding area. His Yin mastery let him pick up several spiritual signatures in the area. Some above but most underground.

..Ghosts are gathering around us, beneath us. Be on your guard..

Alucard gathered up his chakra and performed a sequence of handseals. Using his Ghoulspine chakra in conjunction with his Yang release would be an indicator of his Yin/Yang mastery. From his hands, he shaped a large wire which he then brought to life using the Change into Hell technique which reduced the size of the technique by two but also brought life to the technique. A bat was born from the black intangible matter.

(Worutā) - Walter
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: B - S (S)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40 - 60
Damage: 80 - 120
Description: Alucard weaves the necessary amount of seals(depending on rank used) and unleashes chakra throughout his body to manifest his black spectral skeleton to form into an aura around him. Depending on the mass of chakra used, the technique becomes bigger and bigger but the core concept stays the same. Alucard forms the black mass into that of a spider web with a mm thick intangible wires of the spectral skeleton. These wires cannot be interacted upon with physical mediums, much like all other Ghoulspine techniques but may be used to interact with other intangible elements such as lightning. Due to this, the technique will simply phase through physical or liquid/gaseous defenses or other object completely unhindered. For the lowest rank of the technique, Alucard can form a web the size of half his size, while scaling upwards in size by a factor of 2 for each going higher, meaning more chakra needed to be spent. The web is designed to intercept applicable techniques but most importantly it forms an arsenal dedicated to Walter C Dornez - hence the name of the technique. Using shape manipulation along with the properties of Yin the user can freely manipulate these threads and sync them together to form a phantom bird cage. On contact, this technique deals direct mental damage and will feel like a target is getting skewered by actual wires even though it is all spiritual.

Note: B-rank requires a single seal(reverse dragon) - A rank requires two seals(reverse dragon - snake) - S rank requires three seals(reverse dragon - snake - reverse tiger). B rank variant can only be used 4 times per battle.
Note: A rank can be used 3 times per battle with a two turn cooldown between usages, S rank twice, with a three turn cooldown in between usages.

(Yoton: Jigoku ni henkō) - Yang Release: Change into Hell
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A (+50, -10 per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user is able to use their Yang nature too imbue life into an elemental technique, creating a Yang/Element sentient entity that remains on the field to aid them. The only limit is the size of the technique originally used as an elemental source, as the resulting entity will always be half the size. The entity can be interacted with, can act on its own, and is made of the element sourced with all its properties intact. Its strength is based on the original elemental technique used as a source. This doesn’t consume time since it is actually a skill applied to a technique used within the same timeframe. The infused chakra increases the technique by an additional ten chakra, of the fifty it costs in total. Note that the resulting entity created by this technique is bound by logical limitations of its shape and nature; a meteor cannot move on its own, a pillar cannot walk away, and a statue without arms cannot pick things up. Likewise, while it is able to use techniques from the source it is created from it cannot extend into different fields. For instance, if Susano’o is brought to life by this technique it cannot use Blaze Release unless the Susano’o itself is constructed, or partially formed, from Blaze itself (e.g. Sasuke’s Susano’o). It is bound by the literal source it is formed from, rather than the fields it is bound to.
Note: Usable 3 times per battle and up to 6 times per event to create one entity with up to 300 chakra points that is able to use jutsu from the source it was created from. Its chakra reserves can be replenished through external means, and because it has a chakra network can fall under the influence of Genjutsu or other Spiritual-based techniques.
Note: Yang Release masters can apply this technique to advanced fields and CE and advanced elements.

The creation had wings and fangs as sharp as sharp as Darkiscie, Alucard's sword. Due to the stress of his chakra reserves, not just for the techniques themselves but also for his dojutsu, his other Yang creation Mara who was with Faye and the Captains Edo Tensei, Alucard needed to restore his chakra and began to meditate.

(In'yōton, Onmyōton: Chakra no Sōzō) Yin-Yang Release: Chakra Creation
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A (+300 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: A unique ability available only to Yin-Yang masters, Chakra Creation pertains to the ability to focus on ones physical and spiritual energies and draw more from one's essence. This allows the user of the technique to replenish and regenerate a limited amount of chakra. This is done by clapping one's hands and focusing, meditating for a moment.
Note: Must meditate for 1 full turn before ones chakra starts to regenerate

Due to his chakra regeneration, a void artifact that he had bought earlier started to charge up, gaining him a single void charge he could spend as he wanted to in the future.

(Mukō: Chikara Chūnyū) – Void: Energy Infusion
Type: Void Infused Artifact
Rank: C
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Whenever the user successfully restores at least 10% of their maximum chakra pool in a single turn they have a 50% chance to gain a single Void Infusion.

The bat landed on Alucards out-stretched arm. Its legs would melt into his arm as it was an intangible creation but it correct itself as to "land" properly later on.

..Yes, you i shall name Ezikiel.

The captain grunted in the background. He could not see the spirits that started to drag his arms and legs down to the ground but he could subconsciously feel it. Alucard smirked, looking at him.

These demon's must've been here from the first time i was here but i was not strong enough to sense them. Maybe this is why this place is abandoned.

The Captain started to lose patience and tried to kick and smash the intangible mass using taijutsu. Alucard shook his head slightly and used Ezikiel to eat the spirits up or simply to scare them away. He then looked down the pit using his Tenseigan, another powerup he had gained ever since he was here last time. He could see the tunnels, endlessly seeming to spread out in all directions but mostly into the deep unknown. Last time he was here he was with Akemi, carving a way through the shrine of Molag Bal and countless of rank-and-file enemies. His powers had grown since then to immeasurable levels and he was ready to go to the bottom of the earth this time. After having had some nostalgia kick in, he was ready to enter the tunnel system using the same entrance as he had use as an exit last time he was here.

Not knowing what he was going to face, he was now sure he was an unstoppable force. The three headed into the tunnel, unlike last time where he and Akemi used her bioluminescence to light the way, Alucards Tenseigan was enough to see the system. The levels of spiritual entities seemed to increase the further they went as well. He started to feel lucky he had made it out alive last time he was here as he had no idea about the haunting amount of spirits that were lurking in the dark. Not that they did much, but the sheer amount of souls that were here was something that was rather concerning. A large genocide must've taken place here in the past. Or, could it be sacrifices to the unholy? As Alucard was in the lead, the Captain was right behind him, seemingly getting really stressed about the things he could feel but not touch. Alas, his wasn't a Yin master or had any kind of sensory input into his being.

As they inched forwards, a wretched smell could be sensed by the entire raid party. The decomposing slabs of meat that had been cut up in thousands of pieces, the remnants of the tenants of the tunnels that Alucard and Akemi had slayed last time they were here was splattered across the tunnels. It was not much more further now until they had reached the level of where he and his squid had reached last time. The 5x5 hole was then reached, a carving that Alucard had made using his Dust Release. The memories caught up with him now. This place had already been explored though, he had not gone further than this and by the looks of it, he could now start to see chakra signatures moving around slowly in forked tunnels underneath. He scoffed, as if reacting to the fact that he had only reached the tip of the iceberg when he was here last time. The three would continue downwards, the air started to get foggy and cold now.

As they approached one of the forks with a chakra signature in the end of it, Alucard would use Ezikiel as a decoy, phasing through the walls of the tunnel and infiltrate a potential hostile. The chakra level was high but not anything he couldn't handle. A silence that had been a constant since they had entered the tunnel system was now broken as Ezikiel had awokened the creature that was at the end of the forked tunnel. The Captain acted as if hungry for combat ever since they had entered the landmark. The Captain powered up, Alucard held him back with an uplifted right arm.

..Patience, dear...
..No, i kill now.

Alucards arm broke by the sheer force of his Edo Tensei's blood lust. He sighed and watched as the immortal man tore the enemy into pieces. It was something that was a similar creation that he had encountered before with Akemi but.. Something was odd about it. It had plated armor, and lit up by bioluminescence and red multiple eyes. Large fangs and hardened claws by the same unknown material that the tunnel walls were consisting of. Ezikiel provided a distracting role, acting like a ghost, phasing in and out of the creature as it was getting beaten up by The Captain whom had opened his 3rd gate and slammed it to pieces using two fast paced combinations of the Eight Inner Gates. He started by kicking the chitin creature into the air, using the Primary Lotus. He followed it up into the tunnel roof and held it tightly, propellering it into the ground and smashed it into the tunnel floor with a large bang that would've created a cave-in hadn't it been for the unknown strong material the walls, floors and ceilings consisted of.

( Hachimon: Omote Renge ) - Eight Gates: Primary Lotus
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 40
Description: The user delivers an upward kick to their opponent, sending them high into the air. The user follows the opponent along their upward trajectory, taking tight hold of them so that they can't move or escape; this can be accomplished via bandages, chains, or similar things. Once they've reached the peak of the initial kick's arc, the user begins a spinning motion and propels them headfirst towards the ground. The user releases the opponent right before impact and retreats to safety, leaving the opponent to collide with the ground alone.
Note: Requires at least the first Gate to be opened.

This knocked out the creature enough to be an easy pray to the more devastating One-Man-Front-Lotus. A move The Captain would perform in order to smash through the tough chitin armor. He dived into the creature after spinning so fast that air currents bended inwards like a hurricane. The aftermath was a splatterfest.

( Hitori Omote Renge ) - One-Man Front Lotus
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: A singular version of its parent technique, the Front Lotus, the user instead starts spinning by himself creating strong air currents around him after having jumped high enough, and dives down on the opponent rather than with them. The effect is drastic as the momentum the user carries and the massive rotating vortex of air around him can create a crater upon impact on the ground. This technique can be used to fight on equal grounds with elemental techniques, using the air vortex produced by the fast spinning to clash with the technique with the user as the driving force beneath the attack.
Note: Requires at least three Gates to be opened.

( Hachimon ) The Eight Inner Gates (Passive)
Type: Mode
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. The user opens the gates in sequence, up to the desired gate to achieve its effects. Opening the gates is a fast process and can be done in mere moments up to the 7th gate. When one initially opens up to a given EIG, that opening lasts up to 4 turns. After completing training, users are capable of opening up to the 5th Gate passively. Opening additional gates after initial activation adds 2 turns per activation. However, there is an exception; opening the last and 8th gate can only lasts for 3 turns.
  • ( Kaimon ) - The Gate of Opening: The user activates The Gate of Opening or First Gate, which is located in the brain. This gate removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so he can begin to access 100% of their strength. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus. This gate adds +5 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 1.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -5 damage per turn.
  • ( Kyūmon ) - The Gate of Healing: The user activates the Gate of Healing or 2nd Gate (also named Rest Gate) which is located in the brain. Forcibly increases one's physical strength and temporarily re-energizes the body. This gate adds +10 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -10 damage.
  • ( Seimon ) - The Gate of Life: The user activates the Gate of Life or 3rd Gate which is located in the Spinal cord. The increased blood flow turns the skin red. Allows the user to use Hidden Lotus. This gate adds +15 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • ( Shōmon ) - The Gate of Pain: The user activates the Gate of Pain or 4th Gate (also named Wound Gate) which is located in the Spinal cord, lower than the Seimon. Increases the user's strength and speed. May cause muscle tissue to begin to tear on use. This gate adds +20 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • ( Tomon ) - The Gate of Limit: The user activates the Gate of Limit or 5th gate, which is located in the abdomen. Increases the user's speed and power. This gate adds +30 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3.5x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • ( Keimon ) - Gate of View: The user activates the Gate of View or 6th Gate, located in the stomach. Increases the user's speed and power. Opening of this gate releases such enormous amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. This gate adds +40 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 4x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -25 damage.
  • ( Kyōmon ) - The Gate of Wonder: The user activates the Gate of Wonder or 7th Gate which is located below the stomach. Those who open this gate will pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a green chakra coating. However, the side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibers are ripped to shreds after exiting this gate, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches him. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger. This gate adds +60 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 7x faster. This gate also adds +20 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -40 damage.
  • ( Shimon ) - The Gate of Death: The user activates the Gate of Death or 8th Gate, located at the heart, requiring the user to puncture their chest just above the heart in order to open it, enabling the user to achieve what is described as The Eight Gates Released Formation" ( Hachimon Tonkō no Jin ). Opening this gate will cause the user's blood to emanate a flaming aura of red steam, the so-called Steam of Blood ( Chi no Jōki ) from all pores of their body, hair, and eyebrows. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy while making the heart pump at maximum power. Exceeding the power of every other gate, the user is temporarily granted power far exceeding their normal power, far beyond that of the five Kage. Once activated, those who are capable can perform the Evening Elephant and the Night Guy. The side effect of opening this gate is that it comes at the expense of the user's life, causing the user to crumble to ash after their chakra runs out, having virtually cooked themselves from the inside-out. This is unlike opening the other gates, which simply injure or damage the body. This gate adds +120 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 8x faster and allows the user to warp space with his Taijutsu and its speed.
Note: The EIG users can only open the gates twice per fight, meaning that if he allows the EIG opening to time out, he can only open the EIGs once more during the match.
Note: Starting with the fifth gate, EIG users begin to feel the side effects of each gate as they time out.
Note: The user cannot use other self powering techniques (such as custom variations of Lightning Armor, Sage Mode, etc) while he has EIG opened
Note: After use of the 8th Gate, the user will pass away.

Judging by the fact it took the third gate to destroy it made it clear, these creatures were far stronger than the ones he had faced together with Akemi. Alike a pet dog, The Captain returned behind Alucard after having literally destroyed the opponent. Alucard sighed and started to heal the wound his dog had inflicted upon him. He was restrained but untamed. Alucard let his arm heal passively but he started to be considered about the fact that maybe these creatures were brought power by a force that would be able to take his entire team down, The Sea of Life. Alucard would sit upon the skull on the creature and took a break.

..We're not continuing more for now, we need a plan.

With his Tenseigan glowing in the dark and his Edo Tensei reanimation next to him, glowing with star chakra along with Ezikiel whom was born from Yang and Ghoulspine the team that was heading down had caught a breather. It was a strange sensation that could best be described as a fog, being in the ancient tomb that this seemed to have been. Having judged the situation clear to proceed, Alucard would rise up from his position. The Captain was not the sitting type and had leaned towards the walls of the system for hours and hours. The intensity of ancient bones and other remnants of creatures out of the known world were increasing and through his Dojutsu he finally saw an end to the system. It wasn't the only thing he saw though, for there were several distinctive chakra signatures in the void only separated by an unknown material that started to also clog up the tunnels as if being blood clogging up a vein. He still believed he was superior to any of the obstacles that was in the way and decided that it was time to proceed. Who knew what was at the end of the tunnel?

..We need to proceed now, my hunger grows. Grows for answers.
Hmph

The Captain, eager as he was in his actual life was never a fan of taking breaks and merely scoffed at his master as a sign of protest of them pausing the process in the first place. Alucard lead the way with Ezikiel flying over his right shoulder and slightly behind his left one was his Edo, kicking the pebble that was on the ground. Suddenly they would all hear the echo of a scream, it came from the same place that Alucard had picked up the chakra signatures at the end of the tunnel. The scream was that of a humans albeit it was broken as if interrupted by a force gripping by their throat. This sudden event halted the trios movements for a bit until another sound was heard. This time by something that wasn't human. Alucard would command Ezikiel to phase through the floor and reach the depth immediately, as human lives was at risk while he looked at the Captain with a rather sinister expression.

Let's hurry.

The Captain glowed up with his Star Chakra as he fluidly dropped his leg weights.

( Kujaku Myōhō ) - Mysterious Peacock Method
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B - A
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20 - 30 ( -5 per turn )
Damage: N/A ( -10 per turn )
Description: The user will make the Bird hand seal and spill their Star Chakra behind them. The technique itself manifests in the form of a feather-shaped array behind them and spreads out a peacock's tail feathers, giving it it's name. This array of chakra allows various applications with their chakra through shape manipulation. As long as the technique is active the user can make full use of the star chakra. However, the longer the technique is active, the more detrimental it is to the user's health. The user's body takes increasing damage for keeping the technique active and for using its techniques. Prolonged use of the technique is incredibly difficult, with low ranking users only being able to sustain this technique for 6 turns at a time. The user is capable of deactivating and re-activating the technique at will. However, after two usages of the technique, the user will be unable to use the technique for the rest of the match.
Note: Genin and Chunin ranked members can only use for 6 turns at a time. Jounins can use for up to 8 turns at a time.
Note: Can only be activated if the user has more than 100 health but lasts as long as the user has health.

(Katai Omori: Doroppu) Leg Weights: Drop
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: The user stops, bends over to reach his legs and unstraps his leg weights, dropping them to the ground. As a result the user gains a varying boost to his running speed and to all his Strong Fist Kick-related moves. However, this boost in strength and speed is completely nullified when releasing the EIG or when using any kind of movement speed enhancement technique or weight manipulation technique; they don't add up on each other.
Note: This can be used for either canon Leg Weights technique.

Alucard would run after the Captain who's speed had doubled after having their leg weights dropped. Although he didn't notice it due to being too focused on what lied ahead, the walls of the tunnel started to depict more and more symbols, untouched compared to the desecrated top levels of the temple. Not many people had gone this far, and perhaps for a reason. Whatever lurked in the dark below surely was some sort of creature, or worse. A rumble would shake their feet causing Alucard and The captain to lose balance. After a short tumble, they both stopped in their motion for a short time, listening carefully. To Alucards dismay all the chakra signatures had now vanished and they were sitting in the dark.
It could be that the chakra was belonging the the humans and that they all had been slaughtered or it belonged to whatever lurked in the shadows but ceased to be traceable, a feat that only skilled shinobi knew how to do; suppression of chakra. The only good his Dojutsu was now to see the shape of the upcoming battlefield. A small, dank hollow at the end of the road. At this point, he had now noticed the depictions on the walls, clearly some sort of divine worship of a lost goddess had been practiced here as the depictions showed that of a warrior woman with beautiful features standing on the coastline with humans in the backgrounds. The depictions showed great flames and waves as well. The observation was cut short by yet another tumble and at this point, The Captain started to lose his shit and went well beyond Alucards position. The glowing star chakra would vanish in the dark after a large grunting noise echoed through the tunnel.

Cap for fucks sake!

Silence fell over the system again, The Cap had vanished. Ezikiel, however would return to Alucard shortly afterwards. Alucard sighted and cut his hand and splashed blood into the dark room infront of him as if to bait the predator. Nothing happened, it seemed like this wasn't the average beast that was blood thirsty. His impatience grew now and he rushed into the end of the shrine where a wall of darkness was the only thing he could see. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, a ripped and torn fresh corpse was tossed at him with great speed and velocity. Acting swiftly, Alucard torched the corpse and the rippling darkness ahead with an intense fireball.

(Katon: Gōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Hellfire Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and breath out from their mouth a large fireball that travels at the opponent. As it reaches the opponent it bursts into a maelstrom of fire engulfing them in flames.

The flames would burst out into a massive maelstorm of fire upon impact with the body but as it was strong enough, the intensity of the flames would incinerate the body that was thrown at him instantly and continue forwards. It didn't linger for long as the surrounding darkness or whatever it was seemed to quench the flames. For a brief moment however, Alucard could make out a shape in the flames before they went out. A cloaked human was standing infront of him. Before he knew it, the darkness fell over the room again and as the last cracks of the flames were ceased, a cackling would be heard, echoing through the room. It was no doubt coming from the shape that was standing infront of Alucard in the darkness. A raspy voice would then be heard.

Another sacrifice.. Good, good. This will plea.. no. Mustn't say her name. You might be a bit more difficult to subdue than the other, ugh, humans that was here moments ago. They did not even put up a fight.

Alucard waited in the darkness, he wasn't afraid of it. As a matter of fact, he was born in darkness.

Who's name are we not talking about here? Also, in case you haven't noticed you're human t-

No!! I'd rather die than be belittled as if belonging to the most corrupted species in existance. Your entire existence is a lie and this shrine proves it. This is why i dwell here, feasting on the fools who dares meet their end at the hands of darkness. But sure, pile up more human bones to this place. The one who'm it belonged to originally surely wouldn't mind even if you were bo-

SLASH!!

The one who was spoken was silenced by a sudden movement. A second later, and a thud with a slight bounce was heard. To this, a light started to shine, removing the clogged darkness that was set inside the room between Alucard and the cloaked shape. The light, a star shaped phoenix belonging to The Captain was acting like a beacon, the light reflected the robed man who's head had been cut off by the immortal Captain's sword. Next to the body, the room was lit up to its fullest, revealing just how large the room was and what filled it. Bones, countless of bones along with some 10 moderately decomposing bodies and 2 fresh bodies lying next to the beheaded robed man. But that sight was overshadowed by the engravings of the walls and the sheer beauty of the shrine that was now lit up from Star Chakra.
The bones were scattered across the place but most of them collected into a corner of the room. In the other corner was a large statue, depicting the same woman that was inscribed on the walls of the cave. Her beauty was unmatched to anything Alucard had ever seen and to top it all off, she was holding weapons as if a true warrior. A match made in heaven for Alucard, who now was set on a new course. Finding out who she was. The captain had sheathed his blade and walked next to Alucard who was looking over the statue and other ancient artifacts that was lying next to the statue. Offerings? Could be. One of the artifacts was made out of the same exotic clay-like element that covered the walls on the deeper levels. He collected all of it, along with the statue and headed towards the surface after having spent an hour in the room and taking notes of what he had seen down there. He left the bodies to a final rest.

Well above ground again, he would entrust the Statue to the Captain for safekeeping. It was an artifact that was precious to him and he needed it back home where it would decorate the throne room of the crimson keep. Maybe the artifacts he had collected alongside the statue also would prove to have usages as well in the future, who knew. He decided to leave the Earthen Temple and head elsewhere.

Arriving from the Port of Innovus

This post contains Storyboard Mission information, encompassing an A-Rank mission containing the following custom (and unique) storyboard elements:
  • The creatures in question have been last near the Earthen Temple, where a second entrance to Irkalla has been forced open deep below the earth. Investigate this temple for any evidence of spirits and the second Entrance. This is considered an A rank mission.
Solomon's Byakugan was instrumental in finding the entrance to the Earthen Temple from the Port of Innovus. Given the distances it could see peering into the earth deep below what once was the Golden Empire was a simple matter. The immense and complex tunnel system that was constructed during the Golden Age was ingenious. The Immortals of Marduk's time left the arable land above for agriculture, while the tunnels were constructed below for transportation between major urban centers. That is why calling it the Earthen Temple isn't exactly accurate; it became a sanctuary on the final days of the Bronze Empire, a last stand, a holdout, against a cataclysm. And now Solomon could feel it, clear as day. It had eluded his sight, but Henso's words proved reliable: there was second gateway to the Underworld here.

From what Solomon could discern the layout of the Earthen Temple was divided like major highways, with pathways branching off like minor blood vessels from arteries. The longest and most prominent of these pathways was the one that went directly between the Port of Innovus and the Fist of the First Men. The entryway at the Port had been overtaken by nature, and even Solomon had to cut his way through to enter. The path hadn't been used in hundreds, if not thousands of years; even by bandits and other scoundrels that might take up residence in the Port of Innovus.

The initial entryway took Solomon down a slightly downward sloped path; likely built this way to accommodate for the disabled and infirm who may take the earthen complex of tunnels as a means of travel during the height of the Golden Empire, it extended over hundreds of meters which would eventually bring the Mage King deep beneath the earth. Have you considered what we might find, Solomon? It was Goetia once again speaking in Solomon's mind. Solomon, for a moment, remained silent. He knew what lurked in the Underworld. Even now he could see the Champions of Humanity courageously facing the towering, and imposing, Gates of the Underworld. And with that knowledge he knew of some of the dangers that lurked in Irkalla's depths. They could be very well walking into a trap, or at least into the same dangers that Merlin and his team are facing. There are an infinite number of possibilities that my eyes cannot see here. But only one will manifest today; we will close the gateway that Henso warned about. Who else will do it? Solomon was resolute.

As the light at the entrance of the tunnel system from the Port of Innovus faded into the distance, obscured by the deep and pitch black complex of tunnel systems, Solomon ignited a golden Mystic flame in his right hand. It danced in the darkness, casting a towering shadow of the Mage King behind him as he continued pushing onward. The system was remarkably complex, and Goetia marveled at the human ingenuity that went into constructing it. Though he lamented at their downfall, cursing their frailty in death as the Silver and Bronze Empires were brought to their knees. Perhaps if Marduk's Immortal Humans had lived on then history would have been far different. But here they were, in the depths of the Earthen Temple, traversing deeper into its systems. Solomon's Byakugan was instrumental in guiding him deeper into the complex, showing him the immediate paths forward. The cavern system seemed to collapse deep underneath the scarred plains above; it was here that he could see a void in space that would normally have just been more earth and dirt packed below the tunnel system. But instead it was a gigantic hole; more specifically, it was the second gateway. The closer they came to it the more the Mage King could feel its effects. Spirits were pouring out from the rip in spacetime, collapsing the tunnel system onto the portal to give many of the physical denizens of Irkalla a pathway to freedom. A mixture of thrall and souls congregated at its heart, and many patrolled the immediate tunnels surrounding it. Disabling the portal would be no simple task.

(Shiraton: Genshi Sōzō) – Mystic Fire Release: Primordial Creation
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Rank: D – S
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: 10 – 40 (-10 per turn)
Damage: 20 – 80
Description: This technique encompasses the flame-like, wispy, energy base of Mystic Fire Release and allows the user to concentrate chakra in an area, whether it is from their body, through the ground, or even in the air. In the case of the flames being produced from the air they are unable to be created within short-range of the opponent, unless the user is within short-range as well. Flames produced from the ground possess an audible queue giving slight warning to the target should they emerge from beneath them. These flames can be manipulated to a high degree allowing the user to produce a wide variety of constructs and shapes, generally limited by their own imagination. Alternatively Primordial Creation can also be used to create simple streams, fireballs, blasts, and waves of flame. These flames can be, at the user’s volition, concentrated to effectively solidify allowing them to punch through physical obstacles and cause explosive damage. The flames of Mystic Fire by default adhere to the violet spectrum but can be manipulated to fit any color in the visible light spectrum. Alternatively they can seal their light entirely causing them to appear akin to the black flames of Amaterasu. Applications above A-Rank require a single hand seal. Sustaining this technique requires the user expend ten chakra per turn. S-Rank can be used four times per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns.
The deeper they went the more calcified mud and skeletons were plastered against the walls of the tunnels. These were not fresh bodies. They were ancient and decomposed corpses of the many humans that died here thousands of years ago trying to seek shelter. It was a disturbing sight, and likely why no one living today hardly came down into the Earthen Temple. By now, hours into their journey, Solomon and Goetia had splintered off the main pathway and began to travel rapidly downward through a series of corridors and stairwells. With him flickered the gentle Mystic flame, keeping the winding path illuminated. Though the Byakugan's continued usefulness would soon meet its end as he traveled deeper into what was quickly becoming a maze, hiding more of the spirits that eluded him from his sight. The deeper Solomon went into the temple the more precarious traversing it became. Steps were broken, walls were partially caved in, piles of skeletons and calcified mud blocked pathways. And, worst of all, the sound of spirits from within the earth itself. Solomon's Byakugan couldn't perceive them, at least not directly.

Solomon peered to the right, watching a group of three cadavers cut their way through the compacted earth from above the gateway. From their movement it was clear they were aware of the Mage King's incursion. But what were they doing here in the first place? This hadn't been the focal point of Phetra's invasion eight months ago. That had come from the ocean, triggered by Marduk's son, Athos's, death. But before Solomon could process the question any further the trio of cadavers blitzed through the wall to the Mage King's left side, causing a massive explosion of earth, polished stone, and dust. Solomon was thrown backwards into the opposite side of the stairwell, falling down a few steps by the group of Rampaging Thrall. "Cough... Looks like you've found me. Well come on." He used his left hand to stand himself up properly, dispersing the Mystic Flame in the other and causing the entire stairwell to be immersed in absolute darkness. But it wasn't long before Solomon's light would shine through it again, quickly setting off a chain of Mystic Lightning to barrage through the Thrall, ripping through their shambling cadaver forms and tearing them asunder. The Mystic Flame was empowered by both his own Six Paths Senjutsu and Goetia's presence within his body, making it an immense barrage of lightning that not only tore them apart but scorched their flesh. By the end the Thrall, which were caught in a web of golden electric plasma, were reduced to nothing but ash. Solomon brushed off the dust on his robes, and pressed onward with his Byakugan leading the way. His mind, not shaken by the attack, still lingered on the pale violet eyes that gazed upon him at the Port of Innovus. Were they watching now? Had they been the ones to alert the Thrall of his presence in the tunnels? So many questions, but so few answers. And it seemed that he would only gain his answers at the edge of the maw itself.

(Shiraton: Kurohāto no Uchū) – Mystic Fire Release: Dark Heart of the Cosmos
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Rank: D – S (A)
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: 10 – 40 (-10 per turn)
Damage: 20 – 80
Description: This technique encompasses the concentrated plasma-based energy of Mystic Fire Release and allows the user to produce currents, bolts, streams, and waves of lightning-like Mystic Fire from the user’s body, through the ground, or even in the air. In the case of the energy being produced from the air they are unable to be created within short-range of the opponent, unless the user is within short-range as well. Energy channeled through the ground is akin to lightning being channeled through the ground, rippling outward from its location created or directed through manipulation by the user. This technique can be concentrated allowing for the energy to take a more solidified state enabling it to punch through physical obstacles. Like its sibling technique Primordial Creation the energy by default adheres to the violet spectrum but can be manipulated to fit any color in the visible spectrum. Alternatively they can seal their light entirely causing them to appear akin to the black energy. Applications above A-Rank require a single hand seal. Sustaining this technique requires the user expend ten chakra per turn. S-Rank can be used four times per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns.
Another half an hour passed of traversing downward. He was getting ever so close to it now. The layout of this part of the cavern system had collapsed; the major inway here caved in at its midpoint, leading to a makeshift tunnel system that nearly dropped vertically into the gateway room itself where a massive void within the earth was being opened by a mix of thrall and spirits. And there were a lot. At the bottom of the floor was a black void, discernible only by its strange appearance in the Byakugan compared to the rest of the earth surrounding it. This was the gateway to the Underworld, where he could see spirits and thrall slowly climbing out of.

This post contains Storyboard Mission information, encompassing an S-Rank mission containing the following custom (and unique) storyboard elements:
  • With the several Minor Spirits from Irkalla released near the crevice, it is unlikely you will be able to close the entrance without their removal. How you accomplish this is your choice but the end result is clear: These spirits must be removed from the area first. This is considered an S rank mission but does not require a fight thread to be considered complete.
A plethora of spirits and thrall had emerged from the gateway, congregating around it to stand guard. But few ventured outward, seeking the world above. The exception were the three thrall that had attempted to ambush Solomon, slamming their bodies through the wall as if sounding off a warning: stay away from what they were doing, or be killed. To take them all at once would be suicidal; while death did not frighten the Mage King, it seemed rather wasteful in the moment. So, any ideas? He earnestly asked in his mental realm, preparing for Goetia to retort with some witty response. Yes. The dead linger. Many have not been swayed by the Crown of the Undying's influence. Perhaps they can come to aid you, creating a distraction. Solomon nodded slightly; it was an interesting proposition. But it bothered him somewhat. The many humans that died here were likely tormented for thousands of years, their last memories being only of horror and death as the servants of Tiamat pursued them in the endless complex of underground roads. On the other hand, these souls were trapped here. They needed closure; the same forces that caused them that torment have returned to upend the world yet again. Well, since we can't think of any other options....

Solomon knelt on the broken stairwell. Not even fifty meters further down the stairwell and through another corridor was the ritual that was slowly widening the void gateway that connected the world to Irkalla. Spirits and Thrall continued to climb out of it. Time was of the essence. "Spirits of the dead, the fallen that perished here at the hands of forces unknown, Denizens of the once magnificent Golden Empire, hear me. I speak to you directly, something that Phetra would not." He activated Ars Notoria, forming a deeper connection with Irkalla. Solomon's proximity to the Gateway further strengthened this technique. It attuned his eyes to see spirits as physical entities; it differed from the spirits that were emerging from Irkalla. Souls that were already sentenced by Falnir could gain some level of corporeality. But these spirits were unsentenced, lingering here for thousands of years. Many were still bound to the calcified skeletons that litter the floor and walls. "The powers that once saw your lives destroyed, tormented, and broken have returned to do the same to the world. I need your help." With his last word, his final plea, he made his case to them. Ars Notoria activated, and suddenly with his Byakugan he became able to see ghostly human figures aimlessly walking the halls. Some were laying down, their bodies overlapping on the ancient skeletons and blackened mud on the walls.

(Fūinjutsu: Sainō Kōshōjin) – Sealing Technique: Ars Notoria
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: A technique derived from the Dead Demon Consuming Seal; this technique enables one to view the spirits of the dead. The Dead Demon Consuming Seal, when summoning the Shinigami, enables some level of spiritual awareness and connection to the Death God. This is evident in Hiruzen’s capability to view the Death God alone when summoning it, something that Orochimaru was only able to do when his spirit was being pulled from his body. With this technique the user establishes a connection to the afterlife, rather than the singular Shinigami, allowing them to view the spirits of those who have perished long ago wandering the earth. This does not allow the user to view spirits of those from Yin Release, or other clan abilities. Rather, this is a cosmetic technique designed to allow the user to view the dead strictly for RP purposes. Once activated, lasts until deactivated.
But no matter their appearance, their position, or their former status in life all of these specters shared one common characteristic: they all were depressed. He could hear the wails of sorrow and see how they moped through the halls, wandering aimlessly and for thousands of years. They hardly even took note of him, if they did at all. "It's been so long your spirits might not even-" But he was cut off. A ghastly figure descending from above to meet his eyes; a woman, who looked no older than 22, stared at him.

"We know human contact. We haven't gone insane. Do not confuse our grief with madness, living one. Who are you? Why have you come here?" Her voice was filled with skepticism and distrust.

"I'm sorry...for assuming." He stood there awkwardly for a moment, his gaze turned downward to his feet before looking back up at the uncomfortably close female specter. "I am Solomon. I've come on the word of rumors. A gateway to the Underworld has been ripped open right beneath us."

The specter stood there for a moment before swooping through Solomon's body. "We've heard of it. Seen it." She spoke quietly, looking around suspiciously. "They speak of you. Those dead things. They do not fear you. They hope for you. Suffering...."

Solomon turned to her again, struggling to keep his gaze on hers as she became evasive. "Hope for me? Solomon knew what she meant, but almost didn't believe it himself. The dead wanted release, freedom from Phetra's oppression and the Crown of the Undying. He knew it was being misused for thousands of years. "Please help me. Those that saw to your unnatural deaths would seek to do the same to others. We can bring peace to those spirits that are abused by the illegitimate Ruler of the Underworld, and save those that have yet to die." His words were directed to all the spirits now, not just the woman. "Leave this limbo behind and find peace." Other human spirits perked up, looking from their resting spots at Solomon. Some seemed confused, others seemed in disbelief. Could it really be a glimmer of hope? They hadn't had human contact, true living human contact, in eight thousand years. It all seemed so foreign. They began to wake, moving, standing up, and rallying toward Solomon. None laughed, none smiled. It was solemn and calm, reserved and measured. They were cautiously optimistic, sensing that this man could give them the relief that was stolen from them so long ago. "Rally around me, and together we will win back your dignity." It had been hundreds of years since the former King of Israel felt people rally around him, congregating in hope and happiness.

The female spirit nodded, whispering into the Mage King's ear. "I was Sabrina. We will place our last spark of hope in you, Solomon. Please give us the peace we deserve after eight thousand of years of suffering." But even with their support the fight ahead would hardly be a simple task. Every moment that passed more spirits emerged from the gateway. They had amassed a small army to defend the gateway, complicating efforts even with Solomon's congregated spirits. He pondered there for a minute, thinking of an appropriate attack. He needed to wipe out the Irkallan spirits without caving in the surrounding area, potentially blocking him off from the gateway. But he also needed to support the dead humans that rallied around them, and not leave them to fend off the denizens of the Underworld alone and in a suicide mission. While already dead, the human spirits here could still be tormented and warped by Irkalla's servants. They were not just his weapons to use in battle, or some throwaway diversionary tactic. Goetia, you're going to control them. Solomon commanded Goetia in his mental realm, deciding to not just kill the spirits but to turn their own ranks against them. The Four Emperors was developed by Solomon to do just that - use Goetia's powerful spirit and impose it on others to overwrite their own. It was a dangerous part of Ars Goetia, the grimoire he wrote hundreds of years ago that details how to control demons and deploy them not only for assistance but battle as well. To date, the Mage King had never used the Four Emperors for any operation. But the opportunity created itself before him. By taking advantage of Goetia's presence inside the Human Order Correction Seal Solomon would fight the spirits head on, using Goetia's power and mind-control abilities to overwrite the Crown of the Undying's control over the thrall and haunting souls that were amassing at the gateway. A wise and decisive decision, my King. I know of your reservations regarding the Four Emperors. But we must act. We must choose. Goetia's voice resonated with conviction and resolution. He was sure of this course of action, determined to see it through.

"I ask you to fight one last time. To drive back these spirits and fight alongside me." He turned back toward Sabrina, and then toward the congregation of spirits around him to address them all. They were ready, solemnly nodding and shouldering the burden that the Mage King was placing on them.. "Then we shall act." He turned down the corridor to the next stairwell, the final one before the reached the breached and collapsed cavern space that led to the gateway. With his Byakugan he could tell that the spirits and thrall were aware that they were coming, suddenly and frantically moving about like a disturbed anthill.

Solomon came to lip of the collapsed tunnel, gazing down it with his Byakugan. He and the spirits were ready; all he had to do was make his move. Despite knowing they were approaching, the small army of Irkallan servants had no idea what his plan of attack was. "Remember. I will engage first, then you follow." He kept his voice low, though knew that the spirits below likely already could hear them. They did nothing to attack, only taking up defensive positions. Solomon nodded one last time before jumping down into the pit feet first. In epic fashion, the Mage King fell through the opening in the ceiling surrounded by nearly one hundred ghastly souls. As he fell he weaved a quick series of hand seals, channeling Force chakra in conjunction with the Wandering Princes; the combination was a Goetia-infused attack that unleashed an omnidirectional burst of Nullifying Gravitons. It appeared as a burst of golden light, radiating through the room non-lethally as Solomon plummeted directly toward the gateway to Irkalla. But he stopped short of falling right through it, using his Otsutsuki powers to begin floating in place. For the time being the spirits were trapped in place, straining against the potent nullifying Force that kept them still.

(Shūkyō Yonkō: Sainō Shūkyō Gētea) – Four Emperors: Ars Theurgia Goetia
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Ars Theurgia Goetia is the ultimate expression of Monomoiria; by imposing its personality into either the user’s chakra or its own, the Inner Spirit creatures a spiritual parasite. Ars Theurgia Goetia is a technique passively applied to all Four Emperors techniques that reference it; outside of the style, Ars Theurgia Goetia can be applied by the user’s Creation through a separate infusion technique, the Wandering Princes. It can be layered alongside other spiritual parasites. The effects of Ars Theurgia Goetia vary depending on the specific Four Emperors technique used; at a baseline, the parasite destabilizes the victim’s physical and spiritual energies. As a result, the victim becomes unable to discern Genjutsu above A-Rank, with their ability to perceive the natural world and reality around them severely impeded. Because of the nature of Yin Release passive defenses are subverted; this includes abilities to see through visual illusionary aspects, like the Rinnegan and Sharingan. Likewise, the Spirit’s imposed personality will make suggestions to its victim, as if they were naturally generated ideas by the victim themselves; these suggestions work in the same way as Kuninotokotachi. These suggestions cannot be direct impediments to the victim’s ability to counter certain techniques, like in the sense of “forget how to counter x element or y technique,” it can make suggestions and commands such as “do not run in this direction,” or “faultily heal an injury” that are obeyed. Overtime the spirit will overpower the host personality; after two full turns of the parasite remaining attached to the victim, the target will effectively fall under the user’s control as their spirit is overwritten by the parasite. This technique is to be posted as a reference to Four Emperors techniques that employ the spiritual parasite. To dispel or block the tethering, an equal or higher chakra surge of Yin, Yang, Yin-Yang, or Natural Energy as the technique that applied it is required.
(Shūkyō Yonkō: Samayō Zōkyō) – Four Emperors: Wandering Princes
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A (+50 chakra to applied technique)
Damage: N/A
Description: The Wandering Princes is the Inner Spirit’s ability to passively infuse its personality as a spiritual parasite into the user’s techniques outside of the Four Emperors fighting style. Occurring within the same timeframe the Inner Spirit independently seals a portion of its personality into either its chakra or the user’s as a spiritual parasite. The Wandering Princes does nothing to augment Ars Theurgia Goetia, its baseline effects remain the same. It only serves to attach Ars Theurgia Goetia to a technique outside of the Four Emperors fighting style. This infusion can be done alongside other spiritual parasitic techniques, layering them seamlessly. To dispel the Ars Theurgia Goetia a higher chakra surge of Yin, Yang, Yin-Yang, or Natural Energy as the technique that applied it must be used. Wandering Princes can be used four times per battle, with two turns in between applications.
Force Release: Surrounding Heaven (Graviton: Amanogawa)
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Rank: D – S
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: 10 – 40 (-10 per turn)
Damage: 20 – 80 / N/A
Description: Surrounding Heaven, named after the Milky Way galaxy, encompasses the basic applications of Force Release: the manipulations of the three forces of gravity. This technique produces masses of Gravitons; these masses are generally released as linear beams from the user’s body or a source of the user’s chakra. However, Gravitons can be further shaped to fit the user’s needs at any given time. The configurations they can take on are limited to basic geometric shapes. All Gravitons produced create light; this light can vary in coloration. By default the beams appear a golden-yellowish color. With the addition of heat or electricity the beams can shift in color becoming either red or blue, respectively. All applications of this technique derive their primary source of damage from the powerful gravitational force generated by this technique. Should the user desire one can utilize an alternate application allowing the beams to produce no damage and simply pull, push, or nullify a target. Masses of Gravitons can be split in order to strike multiple targets, following normal splitting rules. The user is even capable of producing a full body release of these beams, creating a defensive shockwave which can nullify, repel, or even attract depending on what is used. Masses of Gravitons, particularly projectiles, can operate in different methods, all explained below depending on the type of Force used. Beams and masses can be sustained over multiple turns, requiring the user expend chakra in order to do so.

Alcyone (Arushiōne): this application embodies the manipulation of the attractive forces of gravity. The primary source of damage stems from the powerful gravitational force this technique can exert. For example, when a target is attracted it can be crushed, contorted, or destroyed. Masses of Gravitons produced are generally formed in beams which can travel great distances to reach their target. Alternatively these Gravitons can be shaped into projectiles which can be launched as such. When a mass of Gravitons strikes a target it will inflict its gravitational damage in the instance of impact while pulling its target toward the source of the Gravitons. When a target is gripped by a sustained beam of Gravitons it can be thrown in arc-like motions, although ultimately it will be pulled closer to the source regardless.

Polaris (Hokkyokusei): this application embodies the repulsive forces of gravity. The primary source of damage stems from the bone crushing force as well as harmful heat or electricity added to it. Masses of Gravitons produced are generally formed in beams which can travel great distances to reach their target. Alternatively these Gravitons can be shaped into projectiles which can be launched as such. When a mass of Gravitons strikes a target it will inflict its gravitational damage in the instance of impact while pushing its target away from the source of the Gravitons. When a target is gripped by a sustained beam of Gravitons it can be thrown in arc-like motions or placed elsewhere, although ultimately it will be pushed further from the source regardless.

Libertas (Jiyū): this application embodies the nullification forces of gravity. Targets struck by Nullification Gravitons are caught in a suspended animation; this reflects the complete loss of all kinetic energy. The primary source of damage stems from the bone crushing force it is capable of exerting on those captured in its influence. Unique to Libertas is the behavior of the masses of Gravitons produced. Masses of Gravitons produced are generally formed in beams which can travel great distances to reach their target. Alternatively these Gravitons can be shaped into projectiles which can be launched as such. When a mass of Gravitons strikes a target it will inflict its gravitational damage in the instance of impact while catching it in suspended animation. Like Polaris and Alcyone, Libertas is capable of moving those within beams of Gravitons freely and without resistance. Unique to Libertas is the behavior of the capture; sustained beams of Gravitons will hold a target indefinitely. Upon the beam’s release the target will be caught in suspension until a full body surge equivalent to the rank applied is utilized. This is also true for projectile based Graviton attacks. S-Rank applications of this technique (regardless of the type) can only be used three times per battle and no S-Rank or above Force in the user's next turn.
( Furaito no Jutsu ) - Flight Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 30 ( -10 per turn )
Damage: N/A
Description: Through the use of their chakra, the user gains the ability of unsupported flight and levitation. The user moves and maneuvers at his running speed. This can be used upon activation as a means of dodging attacks but afterwards cannot be utilized like such.
Note: This can be used by custom Otsutsuki clan bios, canon bios noted to have flight, and Juubi Jinchuriki bios.
"Now!" Solomon shouted, calling for his cavalry as an array of human spirits burst out from the walls of the room and into the room. Many of them rushed down to directly confront the trapped spirits, taking advantage of their immobilized state to further restrain and attack them. But the fight wasn't over, the gateway was still open; and from it another set of spirits emerged, which Solomon immediately noticed with his Byakugan. Sabrina, among the spirits that were attacking the restrained servants of Irkalla, launched herself into the fray. Four spirits emerged from the gateway, prompting Solomon to dive downward to confront them. Meanwhile, a raging battle ensued as the effects of the Nullifying Force began to wear off after a few moments. The initial assault allowed the spirits to wail on the servants of Irkalla, beating them into submission. Subconsciously the spirits began to have their own commands overwritten by Goetia, his personality overpowering their own. You are mistaken. Your comrades are the living. The Demon God King continued to whisper to them, distracting them and commanding them to make errors in their attacks. Slowly his personality would overwrite theirs, increasing the numbers in Solomon's makeshift spirit army.

Many of them rushed down to directly confront the trapped spirits, taking advantage of their immobilized state to further restrain and attack them. The Demon God King continued to whisper to them, distracting them and commanding them to make errors in their attacks. Slowly his personality would overwrite theirs, increasing the numbers in Solomon's makeshift spirit army. It wouldn't be long before their loyalties changed and they were freed from the oppressive commands which bound them. Though it would be just another type of servitude under the Demon God King's dominant personality, Solomon would be eager in freeing them again and returning their restless spirits to Irkalla where they belong.

Meanwhile, Solomon's attention shifted to the four thrall that had emerged from the portal. He converted the Seal of Solomon, which had been on his hands as rings, into their offensive form. Using the rings he unleashed two blasts of potent energy, forming them as simple projectiles to launch directly below him as he used his flight to dive down toward the portal. The four Rampaging Thrall, still climbing out from the lips of the gateway, would be blasted downwards and back into Irkalla. Solomon had to be careful not to cave the entire room in, burying himself underneath so much earth. Massive destruction was not something he was keen on; which was why at the same time Goetia was still working on swaying the personalities of the spirits that were in heated battle with the humans that Solomon rallied. One by one their minds were swayed, freed from Irkallan influence and placed under the Demon God King's control. As this happened they stopped fighting the humans, recalling their own humanity even if superficially, and turning to fight the remaining Irkallans. Their numbers were thinning, which served to bolster Solomon's own. Each passing minute the fighting grew less intense, with souls clashing with Haunting Spirits and Thrall slowly winding down. Solomon surveyed the damage, noting that by and large the area was preserved. The gateway remained open, but with his bolstered forces it would be difficult for anymore spirits or thrall from breaching and not being intercepted by his own rallied forces. All that was left was to seal it.

( Soromon no Inkan ) - Seal of Solomon
Type: Artifact
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 40 per active ability use (-10 per turn)
Damage: 100 damage for Seal Form
Description: The Seal of Solomon is an artifact of unknown origin, rumored to be from a time and place far from our own. Due to its powers over the dead, the Seal of Solomon gained a reputation of a necromancer's greatest dream, the ability to govern the souls of the dead in a way both similar and unlike that of Edo Tensei. Despite it's name, the Seal of Solomon does not refer to a written script, but a signet atop a ring. Usually worn on the thumb as a singular, this ring is capable of passively changing it's form, depending on the ability it utilizes. When worn, the user becomes capable of utilizing any and all spiritual techniques without need for seal, including but limited to Genjutsu and Yin Release as well as grants a complete spiritual immunity to techniques of A rank and lower, including damage and side effects. Souls summoned by the Seal of Solomon remain loyal to the user regardless of previous association and attachment, being incapable of being swayed by Yin techniques or other abilities to break this bond.

The Seal of Solomon has it's own set of active abilities unlike the passive ones listed above, each attached to a different form the ring is capable of taking. When in Staff Form, the Seal allows the user to summon demons from the past to do his bidding in ways. Unlike Edo tensei, these demons exist as spiritual entities only and can make use of any Spiritual technique the user or the demon itself had in its life with their previous health pool and chakra pool in place. Due to having no physical body, they are immune to physical damage These demons are the souls of anyone defeated within the last 2 pages of the Battle Arena if used there and anyone defeated within the last 3 Ninja World arcs. This allows him to summon demonic versions of previous battlers should he wish it - even if they have yet to die, drawing the demonic energy from them. These entities cannot be sealed nor absorbed by abilities or dissipated by Yin-Yang based abilities. When in the Ten Rings Form, the user is capable of summoning the prince of demons named Asmodeus. Asmodeus, possessing the user, grants heightened demonic and spiritual abilities, shown in the form of re glowing eyes and tattoos. With a sigil appearing across the user's torso, the user's spiritual abilities spike to a point where he is capable of affecting this same energy within opponents via contact; by touching their chest and head simultaneously, the user is capable of sealing the demons within them, purifying their soul and preventing use of any form of energy for 5 turns. This essentially allows him to bend their ability to use energy as he purifies the soul. While in use, the user becomes immune to Yin based techniques though his susceptibility to Yang ones spikes, causing him to take doubled damage from them in this while in use. Other spiritual based modes cannot be in use while this one is. When in actual Seal Form, the user is capable of forming bonds with demons, gaining access to their power in the form of powerful scripts that deal high damage to foes by releasing this demonic energy as bursts of glowing red-gold energy. The user can manipulate this energy once every 5 turns to create blasts of energy with a strength to any elemental nature it meets. However, because of this power, use of this prevents the Seal of Solomon's abilities from working for the same time it takes to reuse this ability, 5 turns. During this time, any and all of the Seal's abilities become defunct and it becomes just a ring.
Note: Use of Sealing Form can only be used once every 5 turns, preventing the user from using any other form in that time.
Note: Use of the Ten Rings Form can only be done 3 times in total, with a 4 time cooldown period.

Solomon floated to the lip of the gateway, gazing into the black void. For the time being the flow of spirits had stopped; surrounding him were an array of souls, spirits, and thralls. Between them were the human souls that had been rallied, including the spirit Sabrina who stood at his side, and the Irkallan servants that had their personalities overwritten by the Demon God King Goetia. He sighed, dusting off his ornate garb as he looked into the black abyss. It was unclear where the gateway would lead. Irkalla was essentially an infinite dimension that stretched on indefinitely. Where the Champions of Humanity were was just one segment of it. One portion of its ancient lands.

The question now stood before him in the form of a gaping doorway to the abyss. How to seal it? This was, seemingly, an unnatural gateway. It was not like the doorway that the Champions of Humanity discovered in the Badlands. That was built intentionally. How this one formed, and who was involved, was largely a mystery. Phetra's servants emerged happily though, congregating here before being vanquished. He had to secure the area and seal it as quickly as possible. From the lip of the gateway Solomon formed a translucent violet barrier, perfectly fitting above the portal like a lid would. The barrier was strengthened with its own unique sealing formula, giving it not only enhanced defensive properties but sealing any physical matter that would come in contact with it by grinding it down. This acted as a countermeasure to the Rampaging Thrall that might try to brute force their way through it.

"We're behind you." It was the spirit of Sabrina that spoke, the human girl that had rallied the souls of all the fallen before. Her voice was filled with newfound hope. Perhaps the idea of finally reaching her eternal resting place brought joy.

"I hope we can bring an end to this suffering soon." Solomon reaffirmed, turning back to the now covered gateway, the massive violet barrier now blocking direct access.

(Fūinjutsu: Mukei Hogosha) – Sealing Technique: Ethereal Guardian
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: 30 (-10 per turn)
Damage: 60
Description: Ethereal Guardian is an advanced Fūinjutsu utilizing common principles found in Barrier Techniques. Typically barriers are thought of as static, geometric and defensive constructs. However this preconceived notion has been proven false through barrier techniques such as the Four and Six Red Yang Formations. Both barriers were made to be highly malleable to shape themselves in order to relieve pressure from offensive techniques and redirect them. They were also able to be shaped in accordance with the user’s needs; this is further supported through other Fūinjutsu techniques, such as Sealing Technique: Abhorrence. Thus, by extension, it is reasonable to produce familiars with natural shapes such as a dog, bird, snake, or even humanoid. With this notion of malleability and versatility in mind Ethereal Guardian also applies the common principle of familiars – semi-sentient creations which feed off of the user’s chakra reserves. Through the combination of the two this technique allows the user to create familiars composed of barriers which undergo advanced shape manipulation. These familiars, as previously mentioned, are granted the same form of sentience granted to normal elemental familiars. This is done through the passive siphoning of chakra from the user to allow for their sustainment. Through this sentience the familiar is capable of operating independently from the user’s concentration freeing the user to perform tasks independent from the familiar. Ethereal Guardian’s primary strength is its incredible versatility in shape transformation and applications – essentially limiting the user to only what his imagination is able to produce and conceive. For instance, the user is able to create a bird composed of a barrier shaped into its form; due to its shape the bird would be capable of flight and able to move independently of the user. A second example is the creation of an average humanoid shaped familiar. This familiar would be capable of running and granted normal full range of movement. However, while logically a bird is able to fly and a humanoid is able to run, this technique allows for the user to break those logical limitations. Because of the nature of the technique all creations are able to attain a form of flight or levitation to some degree, all moving as fast as the user’s base speed. Thus, a humanoid with no wings is capable of levitation and flight. The greatest limitation to this is the amount of chakra put into the technique. Additionally, the user is capable of creating multiple familiars. In this case, the familiars will follow the normal splitting rules. Two familiars created will be equivalent to B-Rank and granted equivalent capabilities while four familiars created will be equivalent to C-Rank and granted the same. These familiars are created within short-range of the user. By default, the barrier which composes them only possesses static characteristics. Meaning it will deal damage based upon the shape it is in, always equivalent to A-Rank. Thus, a bird with a talon can cut and pierce, equivalent to A-Rank damage. While a human with a fist can punch, equivalent to A-Rank damage. By default the creation(s) will possess a translucent white color. Creations can be sustained for four turns. This technique can be used twice per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns. Cannot create new creations from a second usage unless the creations previously created were destroyed. Constructs are at max 20 meters in height.
(Fūinjutsu: Seishin Iyashi) – Sealing Technique: Spiritual Acquiescence
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A (+20 chakra cost to applied technique)
Damage: N/A
Description: This supplementary infusion technique can only be used in conjunction with Sealing Technique: Ethereal Guardian. Barriers have been shown to possess numerous characteristics; these range from reactive damage on physical contact to barriers which are intangible in nature able to drain chakra or produce high levels of physical pressure to restrict movement and resourcefulness in combat. Working in conjunction with Ethereal Guardian this technique simply acts to endow the familiar with specialized barriers. By default, Ethereal Guardian employs a barrier which is only able to inflict blunt or sharp damage on contact. Through an infusion of chakra within the same timeframe the user is able to endow the created Ethereal Guardian with a specialized barrier allowing for different types of damage or effects. Regardless of the barrier characteristics infused this technique will empower the Ethereal Guardian by an additional rank, or an effective +20 damage. This technique, like Ethereal Guardian, can be used twice. Only one barrier can be infused into one application of Ethereal Guardian. When multiple familiars are created through Ethereal Guardian then their rank will be split as normal as will the potency of the barriers; all Guardians will possess the same barrier type. The barriers are as listed:

Violet; perhaps the simplest infused barrier. This barrier acts in a similar manner to Shishienjin. When infused the Ethereal Guardian’s default color will instead become a violet/purple. Like Shishienjin when the Ethereal Guardian comes into contact with solid matter or an opposing force it will burn the target with violet flames. Much like Amaterasu the violet flames will spread and consume the target, should they fail to be dealt with. While the barrier itself will produce violet flames on contact the Ethereal Guardian will retain its default tangible abilities allowing it to still produce physical damage on contact. While potent and highly aggressive in nature the flames, to the user, remain inert allowing the user to come into contact with his or her Guardian without repercussions.

Blue; the Blue barrier represents the peace which water emulates and possesses no innately offensive qualities. The barrier will change the Ethereal Guardian into a magnificent ocean blue instead of its default translucent white. The Blue barrier sheds all tangible characteristics and thus will deal no direct damage on contact with an opponent becoming effectively intangible. Like the ocean’s ability to sap the strength of unsuspecting swimmers caught in rip tides the Guardian will become able to sap the chakra of those it phases through. For each turn or instance that the Guardian phases through a target this technique will effectively drain 100 chakra. Should the user make contact with their own familiar it will not drain chakra from the user. If the familiar has drained chakra prior to contact it will be able to return the chakra to its user. When used against summonings of equivalent rank instead of draining chakra the familiar will cause the summoning to disperse.

Black; based on the Barrier Shatter Technique the Black barrier possesses the default offensive tangible abilities that the Ethereal Guardian is created with. When infused the Guardian’s default color will become absolute black, much like a cosmic black hole. The Black barrier creates a twist of the Barrier Shatter Technique allowing it to interact with barriers and, instead of shattering them, absorb them like a black hole. The Black barrier is able to absorb S-Rank and below barriers regardless of their nature and will increase the familiar’s effective strength by +20 for the duration of the technique. Should the familiar come in contact with a barrier of the user’s it will remain inert at the user’s volition allowing the familiar to pass without absorption.

Magenta; based on the Elemental Sealing Method technique this familiar will retain its default offensive tangible abilities while also gaining specialized sealing abilities. When infused the Guardian’s default color will become magenta. The Magenta barrier creates a specialized pressure within the technique which allows it to interact with tangible elements (water, earth, steel, etc) in a unique way. The barrier will exert extreme pressure allowing it to pulverize the physical element within and then seal it within. This sealing method is capable of sealing up to Forbidden ranked physical-based techniques. Against intangible elements (wind, lightning, etc) the familiar will retain its normal S-Rank strength.

Crimson; perhaps the most violent barrier infusion the Crimson barrier provides certain explosive qualities. When infused the Guardian’s default color will become a blood red crimson. The Crimson barrier is a twist on the Sealing Trap Explosion technique. When the familiar detonates it will effectively end its life producing an explosion spanning a mid-range radius from its location. The explosive nature of this barrier can be used in multiple ways. The first is by default when an opponent comes within short-range of the barrier, like the Sealing Trap Explosion, it will cause the familiar to explode. Alternatively the user can prevent this by willing the familiar to remain inert and detonate at a time of their choosing. This requires the user to be aware of the familiar’s location and interactions, however. The familiar will retain its default tangible abilities.
But the barrier was just a stopgap. A temporary measure that wouldn't hold indefinitely. And he certainly couldn't stay by the gateway for the rest of his eternal existence. The Mage King knew he couldn't simply cave in the rest of the temple. Not only because wanton destruction was unnecessary and unappealing but because that wouldn't actually close the gateway. Covered in rocks, earth, and debris, the gateway would still function perfectly fine. It would only take a single monstrosity sent by Phetra to dig out another tunnel that would lead straight to the surface. No, Solomon had to close the gate fully - to seal the interdimensional breach.

Finally the solution came to Solomon, one so obvious that it had been nearly staring him in the face all along. It was his own body seal, appropriately called Dead Zone, that could seal the gateway. A fortunate and technical caveat existed within the technique, making it extremely potent against spacetime breaches like the Irkallan gateway. The rip in spacetime could be undone by a simple barrier, produced by a seal on Solomon's body that would spread outwards to neutralize it. Because no chakra created the rip in spacetime the seal would work effortlessly to contain it. But Solomon didn't want to make use of his body seal directly, instead he set to work creating a much more permanent seal applied applied to the terrain itself that would seal the gateway permanently - even if the seal eventually corroded, weathered, or was damage in someway.

A master of Namikazeron, Solomon knelt at the lip of the gateway and from his fingers began producing black threads of sealing script as if from his imagination. The technique was not quite a Yin Release ability in itself, but it was remarkably similar which made its usage quite fitting. With the threads he began to inscribe the Kanji for maintain into the earth, infusing his own chakra into the technique as he did so.

維持する

The spirits and souls gathered around him, observing closely as he Solomon worked diligently. Once the Kanji were inscribed at the lip of the gateway he stood up, taking a step back for a moment while still infusing his chakra into the formula. "Alright, it's ready. The barrier will close off Irkalla. It won't be until Phetra is overthrown that the normal flow of souls can take place again. But once that happens I'm sure you, and her former servants, will be free to follow the natural course of the afterlife again. I'm sorry you've suffered for so long."

"Wouldn't it make more sense for us to go before the portal is closed?" It was Sabrina that spoke up, asking a question that no doubt many of the souls were curious about.

"With her as its ruler still it would probably be best to hold back for a little bit longer. I know you have waited over eight thousand years for relief...but I ask you to just wait a little longer. I promise that Phetra will be overthrown and your souls will finally find peace. But until then I ask you to wait. Don't submit yourself to more torment. More manipulation." He pleaded not just with Sabrina but with the entire group, showing them as much genuine concern as he could. Solomon knew that if they went through that gateway they would end up just like the Haunting Souls, Rampaging Thrall, and all the other terrible denizens of Irkalla that have had their existence tormented and twisted. Sabrina acknowledged, smiled, and floated backwards slightly. The time had come.

"I'll begin." Solomon channeled his chakra once more, activating the formula and the Kanji; what was originally meant to be a body seal was now fed his chakra through the Namikazeron sealing script. The symbols glowed for a moment, then finally pulsed a wave of chakra as the barrier formed from them and spread outwards to fill the chamber that the gateway was dug into. Once the barrier spread over the gateway the spacetime that was distorted immediately began to adjust itself, reacting to the presence of the Fuuinjutsu and close he gateway. The black abyss warped and twisted, bent and curved in its presence as it thrashed under the violet barrier that restrained those within it from escaping. And within seconds the gateway that was expanding slammed shut, twisting in on itself as it disappeared into nothingness.

Fuuinjutsu: Deddozōn | Sealing Technique: Dead Zone
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: A seal with the word 'Maintain' will be placed somewhere on the users body. The seal will passively drain chakra from the user which it will then redirect into the surroundings so as to detect attempts at manipulating space (affords no other kind of sensory). When a technique that seeks to distort space/time is utilised within the users vicinity (Mid range radius) this seal will activate, passively draining chakra from the user to erect a barrier that will instantly spread outwards and prevent the space time continuum from being manipulated - in effect the seal will serve to neutralize space time techniques such as summoning jutsu, or techniques that utilise portals such as 'Stick Earth Drop' from being utilised as it forcibly maintains the fabric of space and time. The seal activates automatically upon detecting an attempt at space/time manipulation, and is effective against such jutsu up to, and including A rank. However it is wholly ineffective against S ranked space time manipulation (Such as S rank summoning techniques as the jutsu utilises more chakra than this technique to bring a stronger summon to the field, however it will still be effective against lower ranked space time techniques even if the substance that they attempt to bring to the field is higher ranked)

Note:
- The user can start the battle with the seal already placed, in which case it must be posted at either the start of the battle or in the users bio. Otherwise the user will have to manually place the seal, which counts as a move and can only be done twice.
- The seal can only activate once per turn, and the user cannot use Fuinjutsu above A rank the turn after it triggers.
- The seal passively drains 5 chakra from the user per turn
- When triggered, a barrier of the appropriate strength will be set up (i.e A rank to counter A rank S/T) that will prevent the space time technique and last for that turn. An A rank barrier can be set up once, and a B rank barrier can only be set up twice. For C rank and below however, on account of there being virtually no S/T techniques that weak barring the summoning of certain lesser animals, the barrier can be triggered continuously to prevent these critters from taking to the field.
- As activation is passive, (But does count towards move count) the user is free to continue as normal.
- Won't work on 'Flying Thunder God' as it is a S ranked Space-Time technique.

Solomon stood with the trapped souls, explaining his plan to the group. The unnatural pit opened at the heart of the underground labyrinth waited ominously as he worked to seal it. With his hand crafting the sigils across the earth, whisperings spread through the group, mutters regarding Irkalla itself. Would they be safe there? Sabrina voice another concern they had regarding the premature closure of the entrance and them returning home, a concern Solomon promptly explained and reassured a large portion of them. However, whispers remained, whispers of doubt and concern rising. Having just demonstrated his own dominion over the souls of Irkalla, him expression his wish for them to stay in his realm without waiting for any indication besides Sabrina’s agreeance. Him having appointed her the unofficial leader of this group and delegating to her his orders and statements, never pondering to think what the rest of this congregation of souls would think.

While this discord of distrust and suspicion grew steadily as the Mage King labored, this distrust was not natural; though Solomon’s concerns about the souls being manipulated were accurate, the source was just as unstable as the tear in space. All the while they fought the Haunting Souls, Thralls and more Phetran forces, there was a barely if at all noticeable decrease in temperature to the point that now, the very air itself sighed with frozen breath as each breath Solomon drew came sharper and thinner, the same feeling he experienced outside of the temple. With the whipping winds absent, it made it even harder to notice the subtly growing change. The deep paradoxical contrast of being deep underground but feeling as if one was leaving the atmosphere hung heavy in the maze as Solomon’s scripts began to work their magic.

The space the entrance stood distorted and folded upon itself repeatedly, almost as if it were conscious and resisted the sealing formula applied to it. The entrance reacted to the powerful Six Paths chakra present, almost as if it were waiting for its command the entire time. The dimension continuously warped and bent, simultaneously fighting the seal and accepting it’s demise. Solomon’s work, though short and easy, was not without surprise; As the portal itself folded inwards and continuously went through a rapid-fire cycle of folding and opening, Solomon’s thoughts would be permeated by a swift and sudden flash of an unfamiliar face and distorted voice sounding like multiple entities speaking at once spoke, happening so fast the King could easily mistake it as paranoia or intrusive thoughts.

“SOLOMON [indiscernible speaking] SOON [indiscernible speaking] WE’VE WAITED [indiscernible speaking]”

Fleeting, the intrusive moment was over before Solomon could focus on the face to make it out, only noticing eyes that explored a myriad of range - appearing as crimson, then shades of purple before blinding bright blues appeared to shift into pale, opaque pupils. Even these flashed within a moment, almost seeming like Solomon was simply hallucinating. Just as soon as it came, the visions and sounds disappeared completely as the supernatural chasm vanished. For a brief moment, all was won: Solomon closed the entrance, the remaining Thralls were all defeated and the lingering Souls stood ready for their next command from their self appointed leader.

Then, with a shrieking crack of sound like metal being split and a loud crash, the sealing formula Solomon applied rebounded and fractured; A spiraling vortex at the center of where the entrance to Irkalla stood spawned, an obsidian toned mist and soft golden glow emanating from it grew as a strong pressure quickly enveloped the field. This pressure, continuously growing, resulted in a reconnection to the recently collapsed vortex in a way Solomon hadn’t observed in his 800 years of life: With the portal reopening, a peculiar sight could be seen through it’s opening; instead of the normal stygian like appearance of the void, this vortex’s black and gold hue was briefly broken by flashes of silvery white pillars and spikes. Within mere seconds, this new vortex and deafening sound disappeared. The black and gold energy present seemed to be the source of the pressure, effectively encapsulating the labyrinth itself. Then, when it seemed the mist was simply going to fill the space of entrance of Irkalla, it suddenly expanded swiftly to touch all the souls present. Multiple things ensued simultaneously; as the energy spread suddenly, it would interact with the entities present, erasing Goetia’s control over the remaining thralls and freeing them from the Creation’s clutches as the wandering souls latent frustrations and anger and corrupted them. Grotesque pale bone like spikes erupted from their shoulders, necks and lower backs, creating a web like formation of thorny rods intersecting as their legs expanded and deformed, becoming two muscular white fur covered legs, appearing as if the hind legs of a wild wolf. As the souls mysteriously morphed demonically, Solomon would notice his own connection with Goetia likewise fading as the Creation’s being itself would begin to weaken with the contact with the golden energy spreading, deteriorating the binding made by the Yin-Yang energy coiling through it’s sealing script.

As the seal becomes destroyed, a similar reaction occurs to Goetia’s unbound form as his spirit disappears; with the Creation ceasing to exist, the spreading black and gold energy begins to coalesce around the Mage King and the surrounding demons present. As the energy gathered and deepened, Solomon could become aware of intense pressure emanating from it, feeling it’s presence on his very tenketsu itself. Perhaps the strangest part of the energy gathering was the effect it had on the morphed demons present: standing almost picturesque and statue-like, the entities would simply stand watch as if inanimate while all watching Solomon with pale lavender shaded eyes.

“SOLOMON...I SEE YOU…”

A voice sudden reverberated through the temple, a loud ominous whisper echoing through it’s hollow walls continuously. It was the same ominous voice he heard earlier. If Solomon would try to pinpoint it’s location, he’d find it impossible to - it echoed through the halls, the earth, Solomon’s very being shook from the voice. Seemingly at random, one of the demonic entities would carry the sound, echoing it from their own mouths. Just as soon as it would speak, another around the room would repeat the sound, until they all repeated it in mantra like formation. As they spoke, the black and gold mist like energy continued to grow, spreading and becoming denser. The mantra shifted, continuing to address the Mage King.

"The Time is Approaching. Idle inaction cannot continue or this realm will break. The Past is The Future. The herald's call must be met. The Time is Approaching."
As the demons all spoke, the black and gold energy glowed brighter and begin to solidify more, forming more humanoid shapes rapidly yet still masked in darkness. As three gigantic beings rose from it, their forms becoming more and more discernable, they caused the present demonic souls to merge into them, siphoning them of their strength as these cloaked entities stood tall before simultaneously raising their limbs, releasing a massive blast of energy towards the roof of the cave. What followed can only be described as cataclysmic eruption occurred, destroying the entirety of the underground maze in a gigantic pillar of energy, forming a 40 meter wide radius of black and gold spiraling energy. This pillar extending to what appears to be the heavens itself caused heavy damage to the temple and it's surroundings, ripping the earth asunder as Solomon is left to defend from the equivelent of a 200 damage cave in. As this pillar erupts, it becomes clear that no none abilities can remove it or erase it, being otherworldly in it's creation. Solomon would find through any attempts to remove or seal it that he simply cannot. Meanwhile these three entities disappear almost completely, leaving behind only the words spoken. With the second entrance sealed but countless souls captured by three unknown entities, his Creation Goetia destroyed and it's seal eradicated and a gigantic mysterious and deadly beam of unknown energy present, Solomon's troubles have only just begun.

Solomon's eyes widened in surprise; despite the cataclysm, the demons rising, and the burst of energy rupturing from below, he was immersed in silence. He instantly knew what happened. Goetia was wiped away, pulled from him or killed - it made little difference. He was stunned. Goetia's absence weakened the Mage King, albeit only slightly. It also placed him on high alert. For hundreds of years he had grown so comfortable with his position in life and the powers he had become so natural at wielding. And now, before some capricious demons or gods, he was slowly being stripped of it. The cataclysm also brought with it the absolute destruction of the ancient Earthen tunnel system that the Golden Empire built thousands of years ago. The cave in demanded an immediate response, passively activated his Tenseigan. Stretching both his arms to his side he unleashed a repulsive wave of gravity, forming a perfect absolute defensive field around him as the Golden Empire's immense infrastructure complex collapsed. From all directions earthen matter caved in, destroying the portal room that the Irkallan servants had dug out. Solomon used his flight skill, having already been activated before, to launch himself upwards into the falling earth. The repulsive force sustained his moment, pushing anything in the way aside with absolute gravitational force. It made his trip to the surface simple, eventually leaving behind a massive crater at was once the Earthen Temple.

Though just because he had escaped the temple Solomon was still in dire straits. Now without Goetia he was left in silence, flying back toward the Port to pursue the only lead he had. Time was running out.

( Doujutsu: Tenseigan ) - Eye Technique: Reincarnation Eye (Passive)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: N/A ( -10 per turn )
Damage: N/A
Description: The Tenseigan (転生眼, Literally meaning: Reincarnation Eye) is a powerful dōjutsu utilized by the Ōtsutsuki clan. The combination of the Byakugan and the chakra of an Ōtsutsuki clan member can evolve the Byakugan into the Tenseigan, resulting in the loss of the Byakugan's quasi-omnidirectional and distanced vision. The Tenseigan allows the user to control both attractive and repulsive forces, similar to the Rinnegan's Deva Path. The user's eyes are on the same level as the Mangekyou Sharingan in terms of tracking and chakra perception. Additionally, it also grants the wielder the ability to use Tenseigan Chakra Mode; gaining additional increases in speed, agility and power.
Note: Requires activation (spending move) for Otsutsuki bios but remains active indefinitely afterwards if the user chooses to. After having a complete Otsutsuki bio with Tenseigan for 1 month, user becomes able to switch between both doujutsu without spending a move. User needs to have activated Byakugan before and had it active for 1 full turn.
Note: Toneri is unable to deactivate his upon it's activation, becoming his default eye state.
Note: When active, the user loses all access to Byakugan related abilities and instead gains Tenseigan effects.
( Tensei Suiryoku ) - Reincarnation Thrust
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Defense/Attack
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 40
Damage: 40 - 160
Description: The user will repulse and push away anything around him up to a given range, in all directions, producing an omni-repulsion effect. The force and repulsive effect is absolute, affecting both energy and matter alike. The technique itself can be used with different ranges/sizes, depending on how much chakra the user spends for the technique and can even, in its smaller form, be sustained, forming a static defensive field instead of a wave-like effect.
Shōkibo - Small Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to short range. The offensive power in this size is not that high as it hits opponents but can still do severe damage. It isn't, however, fatal, boasting a physical 40 damage. If the user focuses this ability with the help of his hands he can sustain a defensive absolute repulsive field around him. He can't, however, do any technique while he is sustaining it and he can only sustain it for 2 turns. Once used, takes one turn cool down to use gravitational related techniques again.
Chūkibo - Medium Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to mid range. The offensive power in this size is severe, sending opponents flying backwards with enough force to, if not defended properly, leave near fatal physical damage. Although not directly fatal, the technique boasts a physical damage of 80. If the user focuses this ability through one or both hands, he can push away a specific target or technique alone, instead of producing the normal omni-repulsive wave. Once used, takes 2 turns cool down to use gravitational related techniques again.
Ōkibo - Large Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to long range. The offensive power of the technique is devastating and anything in its path that doesn't manage to defend properly is left obliterated. Its fatal if unguarded, boasting a physical damage of 160. Using this techniques poses a great deal of danger to the user as he damages his chakra pathway itself to be able to mold sufficient chakra to perform it. Once used, the user loses the use any gravitational related techniques for the remainder of the fight and is unable to mold chakra for techniques above A-Rank for 5 turns.
Note: The technique is immune to normal Elemental Weaknesses and Strengths and as such can't be blocked or stopped. However, the enemies can still use techniques that prevent or reduce physical damage to their bodies to survive its effects or escape its range through a fast enough technique. This means that in the large scale, while the technique can't be stopped or directly countered, enemies can still manage to survive if they logically counter.
Note: Can only be used by Tenseigan Bios.

(Lilith Only) Coming from [x]

Lilith arrived to a place that she had never been to as she went straight north from the blood fields and wound up in a very average looking place, on the surface atleast. Her thoughts and concentration was shattered by the sudden voice of Alucard being inside of her making a smug comment.

Don't dig too deep around there.

It was no secret that Alucard was able to perceive her position even though he was still in the Port of Innovus, all thanks to his Tenseigan.

Ugh, ryōkai.. Alucard.. Anooo, can you not scare me like that?

..I only promise to TRY.. *makes a hang-up call noise*

Lilith would sigh as she landed on her feet again with her tail touching the ground. This whole place looked like just any other that she had been to, it was blend and mediocre to say the least but one thing that stood out compared to the Blood Fields was that there was someone around. Her expression changed dramatically as she would hear the sound of people walking through the woods. Having no concept of suspiciousnes, she flew straight towards the small group of individuals and landed right infront of them, forcing them into a halt to avoid walking straight into her.

Konnichi-wa, watashiwa Lilith. Who are you fine people??!!

Her appearance may have been the major cause for the groups reaction, acknowledging she was some sort of human-esque dragon/bat hybrid. The way she smiled at them and bowed in out of respect was probably the only reason they did not ran away in fear as well. Standing in a somewhat shocked statement, the elder of the small group seemed to reach out with his two hands on his oaken cane. His eyes seemed to be almost shut, indicating blindness or something similar.

You're not a demon are you, Lilith? I sense kindness in your tone but by the way my family reacts it seems you aren't the average person now are you?

I..

She sure looks like a demon, grandfather what do we do?

You let her speak, i want to hear her voice again. Never judge a book by it's cover young man, please go ahead Lilith.

Hmpf..

Wakaranai.. what a demon is sir.. I'm new to this world and i don't know almost anything about it which is why im out on an exploration to meet and greet. I also am sort of looking for monsters or baka's to use my abilities on. Do you know where i a girl like me can throw some knuckles at?

The shocked reaction of the farmers got transformed into curiosity in an instant. Was it the way she spoke or her clear obsession with showing respect or the overflowing factor of innocence she naturally radiated with. Regardless of this fact, the man who clearly was the most outspoken of them all was still acting suspicious. The elder one noticed this somehow, but he applied a faint smile.

There is a persistent band of bandits that comes to our small villages and wreaks havoc. If you deal with them, it could be your chance to prove yourself to the rest of my family and others of our landmark that you're a hero. To me, you have already proven it but that's because i know it from your voice..

The elder pointed towards the north east side of their location as the rest of his family turned towards the road again. Lilith bowed showing good faith.

Arigatōgozaimasu.. I'll be off - those bandits will run away like chicken when they get a piece of c'est moi..

Good luck girl!!

Lilith spread her wings and flew into the direction she was pointed towards by the old man.

(Lilith only) coming from [x]

It was with a heavy heart that Lilith returned to the Earthern temple after having decapitated the bandit leader and disposed of the rest of the thugs. Having seen death clearly in her eyes she was changed irreversibly now but it would have been a change that'd come whether she liked it or not. This world was riddled with death afterall. Flying in the air she tracked down the same people she had taken the job from but this time it was out on the road but rather in their small village located very close to where she had spoken with them in the first place. Seeing as she only recognized two of them and the elder man wasn't outside she would ask them where he was and they pointed towards the house next to them. She knocked on the door and was greeted by the one she was seeking after.

Oh, if it isn't Lilith. Im glad you made it in one piece, how did it go?

It.. Went well, these bandits will never threaten you again and i learned alot from the encounter but some parts of it i wish i could have avoided. I killed a person for the first time in my life and it did not feel good even though he deserved it..

So you're riddled with guilt now are you? How about i sincerely thank you on the behalf of our community for the excellent services you've done for us and the countless lives you've saved by exhausting the one keen on exterminating others. It's the reality of this world i'm afraid Young'in.. Sometimes you have to take lives in order to save lives, that's just how far it can go.

I.. guess that's my biggest lesson of what happened.. With that, i'll be off to the port again, i'm glad i helped your village, it helps. I am sorry but i need to take my leave, it was nice meeting you.

Lilith bowed in respect to the elder man who was getting frustrated at the fact that he wasn't able to repay her anything before she took off but after a while he would calm down. Lilith on the other hand would head towards the Port of Innovus, where Alucard was waiting for her.

Coming from #212, Port of Innovus.

Trudging through the Swamp of Aeonia Emiya maintained a constant flow of Atavistic Flames from his body, burning and solidifying the scarlet mud before it could actually affect, or perhaps more accurately infect him. He assumed the use of Atavistic Flame was fine as despite occupying the same vessel, Emiya and Marzan were too distinct souls. Emiya couldn't interact with the smith's soul even if he wanted to, so it was safe to assume that he could burn his own soul without harming Marzan's. He also held out hope that the spiritual recuperation provided by the Human Principal assisted Marzan in some sense, but couldn't be sure, as again, they were still too distinct entities. If harming one didn't harm the other, the opposite was most likely also true. Knowing this area was once home to a number of subterranean tunnels, Emiya kept his eyes on his surroundings for signs of these now submerged systems of transportation, as they were now pitfalls of death and decay just waiting to claim the wayward life that strays through these lands. Ever following that tug within his chest, Emiya continued west.

(Kaen Kakkusei Iden: Ōkan Hi) – Atavistic Flame: Crown Fire
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Rank: A – S
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 60 – 80 (90 – 110)
Description: Crown Fire is an advanced application of the Human Principle available to Masters and Grandmasters. It possesses intrinsic Anti-Divinity, a property that allows it to damage Divine beings in the same way that the God-Slaying Tools can. The technique is activated by focusing Atavistic Flame and drawing upon the user’s spirit, focusing it throughout their body. Unlike Human Principle, which can only be used from the user’s hands, Crown Fire can be released anywhere from the user’s body and in significantly greater quantities. This fire can be shaped to the user’s will and inflicts combustible physical damage to anything it strikes. Activating the technique requires the user expend 20 spiritual Health Points. The user regenerates 10 spiritual Health Points per turn for the following two turns. Grandmasters are able to use Crown Fire with an additional 30 damage to each rank, not counting as a boost. S-Rank applications can be used four times per battle, once every two turns.

Leaving Landmark. Heading to #224, Hogwarts.
