(Doton: Dochubaku) - Earth Release: Landslide Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra to create the earth infront of them to turn to a lose like quality by slamming his hands on the ground to create a landslide that is directed towards the enemy target in the form of a wave of earth.

A basic tech but is pretty nice. The user will quickly, with no hand seals manipulate the earth upfront on them to loosen its quality almost making it more softer. With a slam of the hands on the ground they will manipulate the ground to quickly form into a wave of tough debris and mud which creates almost a landslide which is sent towards the opponent like a wave of earth. It has the destructive property to easily cut and push down trees with ease and still continue forward. Its a very fast moving technique, hard to evade. Its also location based, its best to use in a forest. Its a loud technique so not so good for snick attacks neither.

(Doton: Kujo Joushou Iwa Chuuseki) - Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: This jutsu causes gigantic pillars of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground. This is a even greater scaled Earth Release: Rising Spikes and is large enough to impale a summoning technique.

A simple but quite the effective jutsu indeed. The user will summon a gigantic pillar of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground around any location the user desires. Its quite the large jutsu and difficult to evade when it begins to emerge. It makes a loud noise as well as the ground will become dense signalling it rising so that can be a window of evasion. Its great to use for combos to attack in all flanks of the opponent. If the opponent is caught the will be hurt as well as launched in the air with force, mid-air they are left vulnerable and open for attacks. Its a great jutsu to use against summons and is tall enough to attack an opponent air-borne. The pillar when it begins to rises is very fast as well as while it rises you can go onto the next tech. Simple evasions as well as cracking the large pillar using lightning would be best.

(Doton: Chidokaku) - Earth Release: Moving Earth Core
Rank: A
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Okay this is a handy jutsu indeed. The user will have complete control of the ground and will be able to raise or lower the ground by 20 meters. With it you can create walls to block attacks or evade them. You can capture enemies by lowering the ground. Also a note is in the manga when used against Madara he actually stumbled due to the sudden rise of the ground, so you can easily catch an opponent off and have a clone or ally send an attack making life difficult for the opponent. You can alter the terrain as well with it. It has no serious offensive abilities but its main purpose is the supplement yourself in battle. Also for every time you move the ground it counts as a turn so be weary. Also by the time the ground fully erects it will take several seconds. (3-5s) depending just how high you set it. 20 meters is the limit but you have control just how long you want to raise it.

Perform the technique:

Creative uses/strengths:

Drawbacks/counters:

Perform the technique: I gather Chakra in my hands and change it's nature to Earth Style, then slam my hands into the ground, releasing Earth Style Chakra into the ground. I use the Chakra to manipulate the existing earth, making it softer and more malleable, and therefore more easily manipulated. I then control the softened Earth, directing it towards some tree's with a great amount of force. It easily flattens and destroys the tree's, with great speed and precision.

Creative uses/strengths: It's a generic landslide, but it can be put to good use, either on it's own, or with help from other techniques. The fact it's softened allows the possibility for combining this with a Water technique to increase it's force, using this, then reinforcing it with any kind of Water technique that can help "push" the landslide towards the target, not only making it faster and more deadly, however as a drawback it would make it easier to counter with Lightning, as the water helps conduct the Lightning, making the technique broken down more easily. You could also use Wind in a similar manner, "pushing" the softened Earth at the target, this would also remove any immediate danger from Lightning Release counters, as Wind > Lightning. The fact this technique's speed and execution is fast, since it has no seals and it's basic Manipulation of existing Earth, I can see why you like it, despite it's basic nature.

Drawbacks/counters: If it depends on the terrain, then it would be harder to use this in say and mountainous terrain where the ground would be much harder and difficult to soften. In addition, the very nature of the technique makes it easier to counter, especially with harder/ heavier forms of Earth Release which wouldn't be affected by the softened landslide. It also makes it easier to break down with Lightning Release, making the technique slightly risky in battle.

Perform the technique: I gather Chakra and change it's nature to Earth. I then release this Chakra into the ground, using it to harden a large section beneath the ground, which I then raise with my Chakra, with decent speed and a massive area of effect.

Creative uses/strengths: If it's large enough to hit a summon, it's strong enough to deal heavy damage to a regular person. Besides that, not much to say really, it's just a larger version of a weaker technique.

Drawbacks/counters: Besides being a very good way of countering aerial opponents, or attempting to catch my target off-guard, I don't really see myself using this technique. It's powerful, sure, but it's the speed I'm thinking about. Even though this Jutsu doesn't have seals, I don't see this thing pulling a "Pop-Up Pirate", you know? Something that large would take time to raise fully, and even though it would carry a great deal of force, I still don't see it being fast. Plus, the noise is a dead give away.

Perform the technique: I gather Chakra in my hand and change it's nature to Earth. I then slam my hand into the ground and release the Chakra into the ground. Once I release a large enough amount into the ground, I use the Chakra to raise myself a good 10m into the air, before reversing the process, lowering myself by 20m, now 10m below the ground. One final time, I raise the ground by 10m, as though nothing happened.

Creative uses/strengths: Perfect for controlling the terrain, like an Earth Bender from Avatar, or a Geomancer. To be able to create holes, walls, trenches, etc at will is awesome. I'll probably be relying on this a lot in the future. The whole part about plant life could be alluding to potential collaborations with the terrain to make pitfall traps. Dunno. Could be good for NW traps.

Drawbacks/counters: I see no real drawbacks to this technique, at least, any that may impede my use of it. Really good, well-balanced technique.

(Doton: Kajugan no Jutsu): Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Range: short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A (up to +20 if used to add damage)
Description: The user will perform the Snake handseal and touch a given target (he needs to use his hands in most cases but can release the technique through his whole body if needed) for a small time frame. Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

One of the very unique and famous jutsus. The user will perform one hand seal and staying in contact with the object he will insert his doton chakra into the object and manipulate it in a way that the very same object will increase in mass. This will increase the weight of the object up to ten times more then the usual weight. This can easily restrict that very object or persons movement dramatically. Moving will be almost impossible. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. In all other cases, only weight is added. So energy based attacks will not added in weight. Also this can easily be used on oneself or object to increase its power and impact. So its awesome for close range but you will sacrifice your speed because of it. Unless releasing the jutsu itself then the weight will remain on the object and/or person for two turns. Its a good jutsu but has many drawbacks as well be sure to use wisely.

(Doton: Keijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A (up to -20 if used to boost speed of a physical attack)
Description: Contrary to its counterpart (the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique), instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter, though still using the same principle and mechanics. The user will make direct contact with the given target (through his hands), infusing them with earth chakra and lowering their weight drastically. The technique can lower a targets weight up to 10 times less than it originally had. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows. The same principle applies if used on a physical attack wich will be faster but will carry less momentum and as such, less physical damage. It doesn't change the "strength" of binding techniques (like Sand Release), where the user is manipulating a dynamic element but will decrease the impact damage of techniques that rely on it.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turns or until countered.

The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person up to ten times lighter then the usual weight. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to so little mass you will have less of an impact in certain jutsus as well as most taijutsus. Be very weary of that.

( Doton: Iwarin Heiban ) - Earth Release: Rock Scale Slab
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will knead their earth chakra into their stomach and then release from their mouth earthly material that then forms into a large slab of rock, that can travel with incredible force. On impact with the ground the slab forces the earth to splinter and jab anyone caught in the vicinity.

One of the more basic jutsus of the A-Ranks. No hand seals and very easy to perform. The user will spew out earth material and set on the ground. The material will turn into a slab of rock and then the user will manipulate it to travel with force towards the opponent. This is a hefty jutsu able to crush and push the opponent back breaking bones and seriously handicapping the opponent. Its main advantage is its raw power. It can also act as a defense blocking attacks and then continue for an attack. It can knock out anything its path and when sent with force acts as a projectile technique. Its straightforward technique and the shape manipulation will take some time.

Perform the technique: I perform the snake seal, and gather Chakra throughout my entire body. I then change the nature of this Chakra to Earth. I then use the Chakra throughout my body to increase my entire body's weight, thus increasing the force exerted on my body by gravity, but also increasing my body's physical capabilities, namely the force it exerts when I strike another surface. I demonstrate this by punching the ground with my fist, creating a larger, more destructive shock wave than a regular Strong Fist user is able to.

I repeat this process, this time applying it to a kunai, increasing it's weight and as a result, more destructive. I throw this kunai towards a nearby tree at full force. The kunai easily splits the tree in half horizontally, explosively sending fragments of the tree in all directions.

Finally, I perform the technique one last time, performing the Snake Seal and placing my hand on the destroyed tree. Using my Earth Chakra to increase the weight of the tree, a side effect occurs, petrifying the wood, transforming it into rock.

With the 3 main applications of the technique displayed, on myself, on a tool and on something that may be petrified, I move on to the next technique.

Creative uses/strengths: Increasing the weight of any object you are in conjunction with is a very handy ability. You can make your own Taijutsu, Kenjutsu or basic physical strikes carry just as much force and impact, or you could use it on an unsuspecting opponent to temporarily weaken them due to being up to 10x heavier than they are used to. It can also be used to efficiently counter weaker Wood Release technique's, petrifying them to their source, making them useless.

Drawbacks/counters: The added weight, to anything but an opponent, may be an inconvenience to the user, as fighting with a body or fists that are even 2x heavier could cause a delay in counters and strikes, even if they are stronger than they usually are. The same applies for throwing tools or swinging weapons.

Perform the technique: I perform the Snake seal, same as the last technique, and gather Chakra throughout my entire body. Then, using the polar opposite qualities of the last Jutsu, I decrease my own weight. Though this leads to my attacks being weaker as a result, they are much quicker, making it very good for countering opponent's who are faster than myself. If used on a tool, it would hit the target much quicker, but loses force in the process, making less of an impact. The same applies for weapons and even the opponent, as making someone lighter doesn't necessarily make them faster. (I'll expand on this in the Disadvantages.)

Creative uses/strengths: Another double edged sword, making the user fast as hell, but weaker as a result. I can't say I'll be too fond of using this with Taijutsu, because that -20 definitely shows, but there could be smarter ways to use this Jutsu. Like combining this with Jutsu a basic tool, then using the Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu seems like a match made in heaven. Throw one lightweight but outrageously fast tool, then multiply it by a thousand. It gives the opponent less time to counter, and the sheer number guarantee you'll hit something.

Drawbacks/counters: One thing I might be looking too much into is the fact that, even though it makes you faster as a result of being Lighter, you don't actually become faster, meaning you could end up having difficulty controlling your own fast movements, like the first time Naruto used the Kyubi Chakra Mode, he smashed into the wall, as he had no control over his movements since he wasn't accustomed to that speed at the time. I can easily see this being a downside of this particular technique.

Perform the technique: I simply gather Chakra in my stomach and change it's nature to Earth. I then move this Chakra up to my mouth, use Shape manipulation to start to give the Jutsu form, before spitting it out and firing it off into Mid Range where it hits the ground with a large amount of force, causing the earth to splinter off in all directions.

Creative uses/strengths: I agree with you, pretty well rounded. Useful for a simple blunt, offensive Jutsu, but can still properly defend due to it's size and the ease of which the Jutsu can be performed.

Drawbacks/counters: No complaints, except maybe the Range. Otherwise, it's a solid technique.

(Doton: Daichidokaku) - Earth Release: Great Moving Earth Core
Rank: S
Type: Defensive/Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

This is the stronger version of the previous A-Rank counter part. The user will have complete control of the ground and will be able to raise or lower the ground by 100 meters. With it you can create walls to block attacks or evade them. You can capture enemies by lowering the ground and sending a large scale attack. Also a note is that anyone in the ground that is under control they will obviously lose their balance due to the sudden rise of the ground, so you can easily catch an opponent off and have a clone or ally send an attack making life difficult for the opponent. You can alter the terrain as well with it. It has no serious offensive abilities but its main purpose is the supplement yourself in battle. Also for every time you move the ground it counts as a turn so be weary. Also by the time the ground fully erects it will take several seconds. (8-10s) depending just how high you set it. 100 meters is the limit but you have control just how long you want to raise it.

(Doton: Dosenkiryu) – Earth Release: Earth and Stone Dragon Technique
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short – Long (Made short range of the user with a long range reach)
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Horse → Dog → Bird → Ox → Snake will create a large dragon of earth erupt from the ground and direct it towards the enemy with devastating force. This technique much resembles the Water Release: Water Dragon technique.

Another very handy and a personal favorite. After doing the required hand seals the user will summon a large dragon made of complete stone and earth. The summoning of the dragon is very fast and what makes this jutsu so handy is basically the brute force the dragon contains and its sheer size. The dragon is summoned close range but it has a long range reach. You can ride the dragon and what makes it awesome is how you can really catch and save yourself from tough situations with the dragon, if you are in a tight situation you can summon the dragon and rise below you and use the momentum to launch yourself in the sky to evade certain attacks. It can also act as a barrier around you to protect from certain attacks. A normal problem is you must keep control of the dragon whenever you are using it. Ways to stop the dragon is using large scale attacks to make it remain its distance from you or attack the bottom of the dragon using a swamp to restrict its movement.

(Doton: Chokeijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth Release: Ultra Light-Weight Rock Technique
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 40
Damage poitns: N/A (up to -40 if used to boost speed of a physical attack)
Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. The technique can decrease the weight of the target to virtually zero but the bigger the target, the more time is needed.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

The stronger version of the previous A-Rank jutsu. The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person down to virtually no weight at all. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to the fact you have no mass whatsoever you have no impact on your punches or impact attacks.

Perform the technique: I gather a large amount of Chakra in my hands, and change it's Nature to Earth. I then slam my hand into the Earth, releasing the Chakra as I do, channelling it throughout the Earth around myself. I then use Shape Manipulation to control the Earth, altering a large amount of Earth as I do. I raise this large section of rock roughly 50m into the air, with myself on top. I then use my Chakra to lower the ground 75m, making myself 25m below normal ground level. I jump out of the hole in the ground, and move on to the next technique.

Creative uses/strengths: Like the normal Moving Earth Core, it's handy for a wide variety of situations, depending on how you use it. Raise the earth to make a defensive wall, lower or raise the earth below yourself to avoid a Jutsu, raise or lower your opponent to throw them off guard, all choices are very good examples of this Jutsu's variety.

Drawbacks/counters:It doesn't say it require's seals, so only the gathering of such a large amount of Chakra would be potentially time-consuming, at least in terms of preparing for the technique, after which, depending on how much you wish to alter the chosen section of ground, it could take a few seconds. Other than the speed of the technique, I have no problems with it.

Perform the technique: I perform the seals Horse → Dog → Bird → Ox → Snake and gather a large amount of Chakra, which I change to Earth Style Chakra and channel into the ground. I then use this Chakra to manipulate the existing earthen elements in the surroundings, and give it form in the shape of a dragon, akin to the Water Dragon Jutsu used by Zabuza and Kakashi. I control this Dragon with my Chakra, having it tear up the surrounding area, before releasing the Jutsu, causing the dragon to crumble away to nothing.

Creative uses/strengths: An S-Rank flying heap of earthen materials, this Jutsu certainly packs a punch. There isn't much to say in terms of good or bad in this Jutsu, because at it's basest level, it's just a basic projectile with dragon features, only with a higher Rank attribute.

Drawbacks/counters: Those seals could be a pain, but otherwise, good, solid Jutsu, even if a bit basic when compared to the other S-Rank Jutsu in any Jutsu list.

Perform the technique: I gather Chakra throughout my entire body, and change it's nature to Earth. Using Earth Release's ability to alter weight, I make my body's weight practically zero, using the Chakra throughout my body to facilitate this technique. With my weight completely neutralized, I am able to move at extremely fast speeds, unhindered by my body's weight, however, it was that same weight that gave impact or force to my punches, so while I can move at amazing speeds, I do next to no damage with my attacks as they are. After a few moments of displaying the effects of the Jutsu, I undo it, returning my body's weight to normal.

Creative uses/strengths: Like the lower ranked variant, this technique is also versatile, as lowering your own weight makes you incredibly fast, this can also be applied to tools, making them incredibly fast too. If used on an opponent, technique's that create great amounts of force can be used to effortlessly blow them away, like using a gust of wind or a stream of water, you can effortlessly force your opponent back, but the same goes for you when you use this technique.

Drawbacks/counters: Like I just stated, when using this technique on yourself, you become easily forced back, having no weight to withstand any kind of frontal attacks. In addition to that, while using this variant to make your weight practically zero, your attacks carry no force behind them, so using this technique is only advised if you're trying to avoid a Jutsu or to keep up with a faster opponent. Like the weaker variant, and the added weight technique's, love this one. :)

(Doton: Koka no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hardening Technique
Rank: S
Type: Offense/Defence/Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40 (-15 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

A very useful technique in which the user "grows" rocks from their skin to form a strong armor. While inside the armor, you can manipulate the rocks to form whatever shapes you want, so you can turn your hand into a sword or mace if you so chose. You can also choose to exclude parts of your body if you wanted to, for example leaving your feet unhindered for greater mobility (though you would be top-heavy and unbalanced). This technique, when used to completely cover your body, is also useful for breaking A-rank and below Genjutsu as it's a full-body surge. However, you are slower than normal when using the armor, you're vulnerable to Raiton, you can only use Doton techniques, and it constantly drains your chakra so... There's quite a bit of give-and-take.

(Doton: Dai iwa Kyojin no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Great Stone Golem Technique
Rank: S
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short - Long (Made short range of the user with a long range reach)
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: The user creates a even larger and stronger version of Earth Release: Stone Golem Technique. However, unlike the smaller version, the user creates this stone golem from the ground solely. The user will slam his hand on the ground, manipulating it and shaping it into a large warrior of stone which he can control as long as he keeps his hand in contact with it or with the ground and keeps fueling the technique with chakra. The golem can reach heights of 30 meters and is quite massive but seems to also be capable of moving quite fast as well.

A more powerful version of the A-rank variant, instead of being spat out of the user's mouth, this one can only be "grown" from the ground, making it required to have contact with the ground to use. The user will constantly send chakra towards the golem which in turn controls the golem's movement. You can virtually do anything with the Golem, you can send it towards the opponent as a distraction, or even with force as a projectile based attack. This version is also much larger than the original, being able to shield an entire army squadron on it's own. But even with it's great height, it has just as much speed and movement ability as it's A-rank variant. A draw back includes the golem requires a solid base for movement, also you must remain concentrated towards the golem; you must also be in contact with either the ground or the golem itself to continue controlling it. I think its best to have a clone control it before hand. The golem is not the fastest runner, but it's not slow either, and it has serious strength so it can easily crush enemies with a punch and lift huge, heavy things.

(Doton: Kaido Shōkutsu) - Earth Style: Opening Earth Rising Excavation
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: N/A
Description: With the technique, the user can bring up something from deep within the ground by slamming his hands on the ground and manipulating it to forcefully make whatever is contained in it to be expelled upwards. The result of this technique has the appearance of an erupting volcano and can vary in size depending on the users needs.

So a very simple technique, actually very similar to Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars. You slam both hands on the ground, and use your Doton chakra to bring up a very large volcano from the earth to push up everything above it. The volcano pushes all of the earth trapped within it, or if you planted things like bombs inside the ground, the bombs (in the manga, it was used to push Zetsu clones up into the air) up high, making the debris that flies out of it look like a volcano erupting. The debris then falls everywhere around the volcano, making everything short-range of the mass of destruction a hazard zone. Clearly, if you can hide some useful items in the ground where you plan to use this technique, it would be best, but if you can't flying rocks is always a good choice. What I really like about this jutsu (I actually just got it now as I looked through it again to write up this summary <.<) is that not only does it attack once when you push things up, but then it attacks a second time with the falling rock debris, forcing your opponent to go as far from the volcano as possible, which generally either puts them long-range from you, or short-range from you, and as mid-range is the general preferred range of NB, you can see how using this with combinations can be helpful.

(Doton: Yama Eikyō) - Earth Release: Mountain Smash
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra cost: 70
Damage points: 140
Description: The user will do 3 handseals (Tiger → Ram → Rat) and slam his hands on the ground which creates two enormous rock formations that close in on the opponent from two opposing sides with tremendous force, smashing everything caught in between. Both of these formations are capable of dwarfing even the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path in size. This is one the most strongest Earth based techniques, standing as a testament to both this ability's destructive potential and its difficulty. However, because of its size and power, it can only be used a limited amount of times, requires much chakra and can only be used at least mid range from the user.
Note: Can only be used twice

So, after forming three handseals and slamming your hands on the ground, you can make two very large sections of, well, mountain rise from the ground to crush everything between them. This technique is incredibly powerful and actually overpowers techniques of the same rank due to it's immense chakra cost and damage point value (though it still loses to Forbidden-rank techniques and equal-rank Lightning for being S-rank Earth). Now, while incredibly tall, the mountain is relatively thin (relative to itself). High-speed movement techniques like EIG and Swift should be able to allow the user to run out from between the slabs, but for a normal person I would assume that they would have to destroy the technique as opposed to running from it (if the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path couldn't step out in time, it clearly moves fast enough with a wide enough base to stop normal people from getting out). Overall, this technique is incredibly destructive, but it's main purpose lies in attacking when your opponent doesn't have anywhere to go; using it when your opponent is focused on you and has nothing else to deal with is a bad idea if you're not trying to set them up for a greater combo move.

Perform the technique: I start by gathering Chakra throughout my entire body, ensuring that this indeed constitutes a full-body surge. Then I use Nature Manipulation to change the nature of this Chakra to Earth. Next I use Shape Manipulation to give the Chakra form, creating rocks that form from the Chakra leaving my body. This soon forms into a large, rather encumbering armour. Next, I use my Chakra to constantly change the shape of the a=rock surrounding both of my arms, forming spikes, blades, blunt edges etc, showing my control over the Jutsu's more creative usage.I finish up up halting my Chakra flow and watching as the armour falls from my body.

Creative uses/strengths: Powerful defence with full body coverage and the ability to release the user from high Ranking Genjutsu, this is probably the best example of Earth Release's raw utility. In addition to that, the ability to reform the armour for offensive purposes makes for a nice combination, making this one of the best Earth Release Jutsu I've seen.

Drawbacks/counters: That Chakra consumption per turn, and the heavy nature of the full body armour could be very problematic, especially when you consider the fast nature of Lighting, and it's ability to easily penetrate even the hardest rock. That makes this Jutsu tough, but fair.

Perform the technique: I gather Chakra in my hands and change the nature of this Chakra to Earth, before slamming my hands into the ground. I then channel this Chakra into the ground, whereby through Shape Manipulation, I control the existing earthen elements found in the ground, creating a much larger variant of the Earth Golem from before. Once the golem forms, I have it perform basic motor functions, such as leg and arm movements, before I have it perform more complex actions, such as running. Then, to display it's power, I have it pick a tree up by the trunk, and pull it out of the ground, roots and all. Once this is done, I stop channeling the Chakra, remove my hands from the ground, and watch as the golem falls to the pile of rubble it once was.

Creative uses/strengths: Versatile, controllable giant slab of rock. That's what this thing is in a nutshell. It may be weak to Lightning, but oh boy does this thing look like it packs a punch. You remove yourself from play to play as a titan, more or less. xD Like you said, probably best to be used by a Shadow Clone.

Drawbacks/counters: You are left vulnerable while the golem is in play. Though it could be used as a quick makeshift defence, then you continue on as normal. Other than leaving you open while you focus on it, I don't really see a problem with this technique, especially because it's like the previous technique, only you aren't inside the rock, meaning you don;t have to worry if the opponent launches a Lightning Jutsu at it.

Perform the technique: I channel Chakra into my hands, again, and change it's nature to Earth. I then slam my hands into the ground, and use Shape Manipulation to cause pressure below the surface of the ground, which forces the ground to rise, like a volcano, forcing chunks of earth to explosively fly out of the top of the "volcano". They rain down from above and wreak havoc all around where the "volcano" formed.

Creative uses/strengths: Personally, I don;t think I'm smart enough to use this technique effectively. I don;t see myself "hiding" stuff underground during a battle, then using this to excavate it later. It just seems like it's a cut above my pay grade, know what I mean. That being said, I do like the implication of controlling where my opponent goes due to the debris flying everywhere. It could be put to great effect with something like the Dark Swamp, or Dropping Lid, for a nice 1-2 combo.

Drawbacks/counters: There isn;t anything "wrong" with this Jutsu, at least from what I can see. I just can;t see myself making advantage of this Jutsu to it's fullest, and that could be considered a personal drawback. Countering requires that you either "force" the earth back down, shield yourself, or gtfo there before the Jutsu actually "activates".

Perform the technique: I perform the required seals, Tiger → Ram → Rat, and knead Chakra in my hands, before slamming them into the ground. Using the Chakra I sent throughout the ground, I force two massive sections of earth to rise from the ground, and move towards each other with a tremendous amount of force, so much so, that when they innevitably collide, they destroy each other from the sheer force and weight behind each of them.

Creative uses/strengths: Mountain Smash GG. 'Nuff said... But seriously, majorly OP technique. Can't even be properly defended by most people, due to the very nature and the sheer scope of the technique itself. This technique is a beast, and the whole of NB knows it.

Drawbacks/counters: Massive Chakra consumption, paired with the fact it's one of the few Jutsu in the canon list that actually have a usage restriction, and you have one severely restrictive technique, both in terms of usage, and overall usability. You can't spam this technique and assume victory, as it'll surely mean your inevitable death.
