Perform the technique: I begin by performing the Tiger hand seal and gathering Chakra in my feet, which I channel into the ground beneath my feet, directing it in front of me. I then use this Chakra to manipulate the ground at my feet and create a river of Mud. I then perform the Snake seal and channel more Chakra into the ground, altering the mud and shaping a large spike, or "needle", from the existing mud and hardening it into a sharp pointed edge that would easily impale the target.
Creative uses/strengths: Using this to surprise the opponent with a sudden spike of hardened earth is a nice combination, and since they are both weak technique's, it's fairly simple and quick to pull this combination off. Other than that, it's potential for surprising opponents with a quick spike from below, it's a basic technique and rather boring.
Drawbacks/counters: You obviously need to use this after the other technique, making it's usage fairly obvious if you are trying to "surprise" the opponent. If the opponent doesn't have Earth training, then this combo would be more effective, but other than that, I can't imagine many people being impaled by this. To beat it you just need a basic Lightning Jutsu that's either large enough to carve through it, or can defend you from a frontal attack from below. That "plasma ball" Jutsu from the lower rank rank Lightning Jutsu is ringing a few bells right now. :/
Perform the technique: I pull out several scrolls from my tool pouch and place them on the ground. I then gather and channel Earth Style Chakra into these scrolls, before taking a few steps back and channeling more Chakra into the scrolls to activate them. After a few moments the scrolls gather the earth from around them and begin to shape themselves into wolves via complex Shape Manipulation that requires a constant level of focus to maintain. These wolves, without purpose, simply just lounge about before I stop streaming Chakra for the technique and move on.
Creative uses/strengths: Since they are able to reconstitute themselves from attacks, they make a handy distraction, albeit one that requires some preparation, but a handy technique to have nonetheless. I can see myself using this in the Revamp if I can acquire some real estate on the Ninja World Map, laying this simple trap to ward off, well, not anyone really... I'm not that popular. :/
Drawbacks/counters: The preparation time makes it rather obvious and therefore useless in the middle of a battle, where seconds can potentially save or cost you your life. Counters would have to be an Elemental Jutsu of the same or higher rank that can target however many Wolves at the same time, either in scale or in the number of projectiles, especially Lightning Release, but I guess any element can work so long as it can destroy all traces of the wolves so they can't reform.
You said "The more wolfs you make the more chakra it will cost. ", does that mean if you make more than one wolf, it costs twice or thrice as much Chakra or does the Chakra cost only count once, since the Jutsu says you can make up to 3 at a time? Also, do they decrease in Rank (and therefor power) with each wolf made?
