(Doton: Dochū Eigyo no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique
Rank: C
Type: Defence/Supplementary
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready to attack an opponent. By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him. This jutsu can also be used to avoid incoming jutsus.
(Doton: Iwagakure no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hiding in Rock Technique
Rank: B
Type: Defence/Supplementary
Range: Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This is a technique that allows its user to blend into rocks and then move in and out of other rocks undetected.
Note: Can only blend through on B rank and below Earth Techniques
Both of these jutsu allow you to utilize your earth chakra to basically become like a rock, and thus merge with them. For the first, you can blend with any chakra-less earth feature, like the ground or stagnant/inactive earth techniques. It's like the ground turns to water to you, and you can freely swim through it.
The second allows you to force the earth chakra on earth features, allowing you the same movement freedom as the first, but allowing you to apply it to earth techniques of B rank and bellow.
(Doton: Nentsuchi Otoshi) – Earth Release: Sticky Earth Drop
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an opening within the sky, which drips down onto the opponent a large amount of mud, covering them. It’s normally followed up by Lightning release: sixteen pillar bind to create a giant oven around the opponent and then using Fire release: Firing biscuit technique to ignite the oven, hardening the mud and immobilizing the enemy target.
(Doton: Otoshibuta) – Earth Release: Dropping Lid
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user creates a giant, boar-shaped, earthen lid high in the air that falls on the target, trapping them underneath.
Both of these allow you to create a portal in the sky, parallel to the surface of the earth, which will drop a large amount of mud in the first or a large lid or earth in the second. The good thing about these is their large range, which allow you to open a portal virtually anywhere on the field, regardless of the height or distance. Due to the sheer side, weight or characteristics of the earth feature they summon, even if you open a portal right on top of your opponent, nearly touching your opponent's head, they will still have dire consequences. Note, the way I like to use the Earth Lid is by placing it right on top of the opponent when he jumped or propelled himself out of the way, basically having him smash himself onto the lid.
(Doton: Denki Iwabashira) - Earth Release: Electric Rock Pillar
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid (Short for electric bolts)
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will make a set of four hand seals and then will place their hand on the ground to create a pillar of earth rise up from the ground. This pillar is also given a electrical charge that causes electric bolts to emit from the pillar up to short range shocking any targets in the vicinity.
Allows you to erupt several pillars that form a cage around your opponent. These pillars will then short circuit the opponent. They make no reference to lightning chakra, but I wouldn't go around using it unless I have the element.
(Doton: Kajūgan no Jutsu): Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Range: short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: By performing the snake hand seal the user will use this technique to petrify whatever or whoever is touching them, causing the object in question to start to crumble. Due to essentially being turned to stone, the affected target considerably increases in weight. The afflicted person or object of this techniques effects increases their power by +10 to techniques but reduces their speed.
Note: The target stays petrified for 1 turn.
(Doton: Chō Kajūgan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Super Added Weight Rock Technique
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Added Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically increases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. Under certain circumstances, the technique can be used to increase the force behind attacks.
Note: Note: The Initial effects last for 1 turn before the weight of the mass is returned to normal.
These are jutsus that alter the density of objects, sort of like applying the concept behind Earth Jutsus and make it broader and more abstract. The first still has a very physical note to it, as the weight increase is manifested as the petrification of the target. The second focuses solely on adding weight. The first can be used on any earth feature such as Swamp of the Underworld, to force your earth chakra into it, solidifying liquid structures such as mud and crumbling down solid structures of lower ranks. The second looses that edge but allows you changes of momentum and strength, basically making you as heavy and powerful as an elephant. Imagine a body slam where you suddenly become as heavy as a truck.
(Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: Contrary to the Earth Release: Added Weight Rock Technique, instead of making an object heavier, this technique makes an item in direct contact with the user much lighter. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The user if using this technique on a incoming object would still be affected by the momentum of the force but will not gain full damage due to drastically decreasing the weight. This technique can be applied to the user himself or another person to reduce their weight and making them faster, however the downside is that their physical strength of the person who is affected by this technique is reduced by -10 damage.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turn before the weight of the mass is returned to normal.
(Doton: Chōkeijūgan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth Release: Super Light-Weight Rock Technique
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 40
Damage poitns: N/A
Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. The user if using this technique on a incoming object would still be affected by the momentum of the force but will not gain full damage due to drastically decreasing the weight.
Note: The Initial effects last for 1 turn before the weight of the mass is returned to normal.
This is the exact opposite of the Added weight. This will allow you to become lighter and thus faster, but would also make you weaker. It allows you to pick up great weights and throw them, and have them acquire great momentum and strength as you allow the weight to become normal again.
Do not make the mistake of using the lightweight technique on your summons intending to make them faster as they carry you, especially flying summons, because that would mean they'll loose the strength to carry your weight and thus make both crash and burn. Yes, a chicken carry you will catch fire!!
