Well I'm not against people doing it but I find it odd that you would want to represent your self with an image of the opposite ***. Its not even about the confusion that can occur and whatnot I just think its odd.

It's the same with a good start in whatever you're doing(which lasts for a short period of time): Let's say you're in a swimming contest.
You're nervous because it's a short distance and the other contestants are very, very good compared to you who have been struggling with your haemorrhoids for weeks. So, without noticing or even remembering much of the start signal or the pain, you've already plunged into the water and know that the others were slower to reach the surface than you, you go 'Woo! Woo! Full-speed ahead cap'n!'. Then in the end the pool will be all bloody with a trail leading to your *ss, but you won, so it won't matter!

Ima go ahead and agree with the ya dood, but i think part of the problem is kinda the web design, the avatar pic is right there in your face and the gender symbol(which seriously cant be trusted over the interwebs) is a tiny little spec in the middle of nowhere
