it's not that i "care..." it's just my personal preference. again, i mean no disrespect to anyone--do whatever the hell you want! But, to ME, it's just a little weird. i can't make you see my point of view so i won't try. suffice it to say, i personally would just not use a girl for my avatar. i see an avatar as a sort of extension of oneself... but it's not that way for everyone...

well, it's along those lines yes... but i don't really "chat" with people. but i would much rather know if i'm dealing with a guy or girl and it's for more than one reason. i simply like to know who i'm talking to--it extends beyond simply male or female. someone mentioned earlier that i'm insensitive cuz it may be that someone is gay or transexual. know what i say? great! but if your gay, give me a rainbow flag or something, don't hide or mislead who you are. u know? just be who you are. and to me, an avatar represents who you are, that's just what i think.
