Falsity
Samehada, Kisame's massive chakra eating weapon was said to eat or absorb, however you wish to interpret the meaning any kind of chakra. I think this is a false accusation determined by the majority who haven't really taken into account the whole "Samehada taste chakra" implication. Samehada has been shown on multiple occasions to eat any kind of chakra with zero difficulty EXCEPT Katon, to be exact Itachi's C-Rank Katon.
With the previous ideas being voiced, I want to also bring up the fact that later on in the same chapter, Killer Bee forcefully stopped another one of Itachi's Katon based technique, but this wasn't with Samehada, Killer Bee used his one hand to block out the flames further more yelling "Hot, Hot, Hot." due to his actions.
Conclusion

Why exactly does Samehada struggle to absorb such a low ranking fire technique? Could it be that Samehada presents a Wind nature, making it weak against Katon? Or is it simply because it doesn't "like the taste of fire"? Here's what I believe..- Samehada may possess the nature affinity of Wind. The idea isn't to far out there, as one of the seven swordsman wields a lightning based sword correct?

- Further more supporting the above idea, this would mean Katon>Fuuton; thus Samehada would naturally be at a disadvantage against Fire based technique..
- Samehada doesn't like the taste of Fire (presents to be bad for Samehada); to much of a bad thing can kill you right?

I want to ask everyone this: Why exactly would you risk a hand injury, when he could simply use Samehada to absorb the flame? With that being provided this concludes my opinion.. Samehada is weak against Katon. Conclusion
- Samehada is weak against Katon based jutsu
- Samehada may present to be a Fuuton based weapon
