Lets see... How many low posters are there:WHich one of them don’t you town read?
Konno... Me... Hout. I town read only one. Me. The others are neutral because they havent posted. Low posters should be saved for mod hammer.

I agree with that. Status is power leading for a fact, and Sk's agendless play gives me scum vibe. Cause only scum play without a true goal in mind. Catch my drift?Status has seemed to ease into the role if Town leader too easy for me to think it’s fake. SK seems easy to interact with and he doesn’t have an agenda.
But you said that Houtarou hasn’t posted anything that’s actually fishy and I’m reaching, so why don’t you town read him? By your logic, we can’t accuse low posters because we’d be reaching lolLets see... How many low posters are there:

Correct. But just becauase he isnt proven to scum doesnt mean he instantly town. Ever heard of having someone being nuetral in your descion? Thats what low posters are. I dont like dealing with them, they should be removed by mod, since they arent helping the game. They may as well be removed and not wasted a dp on.But you said that Houtarou hasn’t posted anything that’s actually fishy and I’m reaching, so why don’t you town read him? Houtarou has provided game relevant content though, he’s been asking questions, he didn’t spend much time fluffing.Correct. But just becauase he isnt proven to scum doesnt mean he instantly town. I mean. Like town play with the agenda to like catch scum right? Scum play without a clear agenda. Or any, more or less to just look good in public eye by agreeing to anything/ trying to earn townie points. They dont care about the towine agenda of catching scum. Is what Im trying to say.WTF?
Scum are literally way more likely to have an agenda...?
They are like 100% more likely to have an agenda...
WHAT
They care to save their buddies and to lynch town...? Town (or at least me as town) care about number 1.I mean. Like town play with the agenda to like catch scum right? The case on Houtarou
First question seems reasonable enough. He's trying to probe into Ansa's head and figure why he'd make that comment. From the way he was asking it, turns out he might've disagreed with it, therefore, I would've expected that he's on to something.
I will add a quick note here. As much as mafia is a game about what people do, it is also a game about what they don't do. I want you to notice how he just flies over this question and doesn't follow through with it.
Now, he's got into assessing a whole another person and not giving a damn about whatever Ansa replied with. He didn't form a read off of Ansa. Now he moved on to Lukundo. This also seems like a reasonable question to ask, but why single Lukundo out for it and why doesn't he try to make something of it on his own? I want you to ask yourselves, when have you ever asked someone about their opinion on an interaction and you ever followed whatever answer as provided without analysing it yourselves in the first place?
This is where his questions start going downhill. I think it's just this one and one more after. What purpose does this question serve for his deduction of my alignment? Absolutely zero. It's just some sort of teasing / banter that you'd do in the third grade when you had a crush or something. In this post, you can absolutely tell he was not in a mentality of trying to figure out my role, just in one that is looking to be active and joke with people.
We reach a very different type of mentality in here. Although in the first few posts we saw some sort of inquisitive Houtarou, in this post we see a Houtarou that tries to shut down someone's read on someone, which is NOT townie. Try and put yourself into his position and explore this realm for yourself. "Why would anyone trust a gut feeling?" -> denying a read, putting someone's reads down.
"you made a hunch that ansa was mafia in last game but things don't work this way" -> again, denying a read. And the last phrase is just the exact same thing. The mentality that comes out of this specific post is that of an ongoing denial. Why would he question gut reads? That's a lot of times what town do. They vote weirdly and not at all times is there tangible evidence for a vote. I find it hard to believe that he would question Lukundo's gut read as a town here. Especially if Houtarou has played before, he KNOWS that as town reads like that happen at all times. If I were in his shoes and I didn't know anyone's alignment, that's not a statement I would make. I'd look to further explore that gut feeling and what caused it, because deep down, there IS a reason for suspecting someone, although vague, it can be found in a post, cuz that's what usually causes it. But this guy just straight up shut down his read without even giving any sort of read on Ansa. It looks like he knows both of their alignments and is shutting someone's reads down in order to look cool / appear like he's doing solid work. This post should rustle everyone's jimmies
And then this is the peak of my points that I made in the last few questions. "Give town reads like gold, not candy" -> wolf mentality. Trying to shut down my town reads. I didn't even give my reasoning for my town reads and he's just instantly shutting it down. I don't think that's a genuine thought that he'd have. I don't think he has ever played a town game and NEVER found a town on day one. Mind you, this comment was made on a read of mine that consisted of 3 people. 3. Not 6, not 7. 3.
This post is just all wrong in all sorts of ways. He just instantly shuts down my town reads and wants me to move with my scum reads. That's not town mentality. He already knows my role most likely, he already knows I'm on a right track and is trying to deflect. He didn't even try exploring why I have those reads. No attempt of sorting me, just denial of my reads. Same thing with Luk (denial of a gut read) and same thing with Ansa. Asked him a question that he never followed up on.
Try to ask yourselves whether you'd actually ever make that comment if you were in his shoes and you were town, part of the UNINFORMED minority. If you wanted to figure someone out, you'd ask why someone has those reads, you wouldn't shut them down. When was ever a town's agenda to shut someone's town reads down?
I dunno. Somewhere before page 20.Red, where is Status’ case?
Fair point. In that case what do you think Sk's none agenda play makes him? They care to save their buddies and to lynch town...? Town (or at least me as town) care about number 1.
Town...Like I said...Fair point. In that case what do you think Sk's none agenda play makes him?
