Not just mine but todays standards. I could list the reasons why. I don't need a series like One Piece to make my point. Unlike you nostoligic fans I don't think DBZ is the greatest series.

I've loved it since I was a child and still do. It has a great ability to appeal to kids, teenagers and adults alike. There's a reason it's such a beloved series and a reason there was such a high demand for its return. It has seamless action, funny moments, badass moments, an optimistic tone, and most importantly enjoyable characters. The characters make the show timeless. It's just really enjoyable and I never get tired of watching it. Some may disagree. I honestly believe you either love DBZ or you don't because it's hard to convince someone to love it if they don't. I think it also depends on what part of the show you watch because Dragonball is very different from DBZ and DBZ season 1 has a different feel from DBZ season 8.

Well, it's your opinion. For many people, it's a bit of a gateway anime, and the first they'll watch (at least in my country), so people will be more fond for it than they'll be for other manga series like, say, Letter Bee.

Hm, it will be a monthly release, right?
Considering what I experienced during the Naruto Gaiden, I guess it will take 5-6 chapters, when the plot turns out to be crap. Complains about the artstyle will appear from day one

I like dragon ball for it's adventures, story, fighting and the funny moments. Dragon ball is still considered a good manga and anime.
Naruto manga is awesome, but the anime is crap thanks to SP with their filler. The manga ended ages ago and the movie got release or Boruto, yet Kaguya hasn't returned. Those that only watch the anime they get spoiled by watching the movie, i read the manga no issue for me.

you must have missed my previous comments on the subject matter then...the fights in dragon ball are trash along with the plot and character developement of 98% of it's characters

5+ episodes of powering up = a dragon ball z fight...at least the original dragon ball was less predictable
