Actually Transcendence, White-Zetsu isn't a diluted portion of Hashirama's DNA. Madara cultivated a portion of the genetic material he stole from Hashirama with the chakra from the Gedō Mazō; in essence it is the same material he implanted into his chest. The spores however were also implanted within Sasuke and as a highly resistant unicellular reproductive body that is capable of birth into a new organism----if they were not implanted then Jūgo would have had no reason to fuel Sasuke with Shizen Enerugī. It has already been stated that they were inside of him. I subjectively doubt they mingled with his genetic makeup though, but it and Orochimaru may all be a foreshadowing by Masashi:

Duly noted. Probably shouldn't have expounded upon that without clearing myself of that misconception. But, I disagree. The actual application of injecting one's DNA (in the most obvious case; Shodai Hokage's) actually has the DNA injected, intertwined within the user with their own DNA. The Zetsu and their "spore" ability, were used as recon and to watch over Sasuke so he did not do anything to go against Uchiha Obito. Obviously, this was thwarted due to Orochimaru's use of them as sacrifices, but this doesn't discredit the fact that Sasuke didn't actually inject nor have Senju Hashirama's DNA within him, only "on him" without the ability to enter his bloodstream and become (reiterating this word once more...) intertwined with the various nucleotides within his DNA sequences.
And the foreshadowing is a moot point. Sasuke's loyalty to his clans abilities would render the Rinnegan as a power-up useless and contradictory since it isn't part of the Uchiha powers and their dichotomy since it involves an external factor, not present in any natural Uchiha and their capabilities to awaken such.
