it wouldnt work.....obito would just go through it...but on the other hand minato is pretty fast so he could grab him...but even if he did grab him,obito would phase through him before death god grabbed his soul....it`s too slow for obito

What a great thread! I hadn't seen this type since I joined the base. Well, practically your whole thread bases on the question: Is the soul attached to the body of Tobi? and that my friend is a philosophycal question. I could answer it by making use of what Descartes said. According to him, the soul can exist without the body so maybe Tobi's body isn't there, but his soul is there. Well, that's what I learnt (could be wrong I'm not good enough in that subject). Regardless, I think Minato could seal Tobi.

Should work on the basis that obito wouldn't even see it it coming. If I remember correctly no one sees the reaper except the caster of the jutsu. Obito would be in the same position as oro. He'd only see it as the reaper was taking his soul. And that's a bit to late.

I would assume he wouldn't be able if his body is already in his other dimension.

The issue would be whether or not the sharingan will be able to see it coming.

If it can: Obito could send his body to the other dimension.

If it can't: Odds are, he will see it...but after it grabs a hold of him.




Though when RDS is used, I would consider it a draw. Since it's a suicidal move that is usually a last resort.

Because the death seal is the spiritual attack while the Reaper Death God is a dark , spiritual entity - Kamui won't affect or hinder its purpose..
But on the other hand , OBITO IS IN AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT DIMENSION!

a dimension where space and time do not interfere , and there is no life force , the guy has an entire pocket dimension to himself!!

well i think you should change the name of the thread to reaper death seal vs kamui as it would work on toni but will it work with kamui active i say no as when tobi has kamui active he isnt actually in the same world so it would take incredible iterlect to get him which i think minato could do but the only reason he didnt do it is because of the big fox that was attacking the village

Yea but Tobi only moves the part of his body which is being attacked. The other parts remain. That means his soul probably remains too.

3. hokage couldnt seal orochimaru with it. he only got his hands.
maybe minatio can seal tobis ears.

shit it worked on kurama, and the first two hokage, why wouldnt it work on obito? he is only a man after all just beacause he can phase through things dont mean shit seeing the death reaper seal doesnt touch you physically but takes your soul and or chakra, but unfortunatly the only people that know that are dead

But since the soul is not in the original 3 or 4 dimensions and the reaper can still reach it wouldnt it be able to reach into the kamui dimension?

I say that, with the Sharingan, he can see the DRS, but then again, this is an assumption.

to seal someone with reaper death you must first grab the target like 3rd did if Minato reaches to do that at Obito, Obito is dead cause since reaper death touch his soul he is not able to move or do anything.but would minato do that before Obito go into the other domention

In General i would agree with the fact that Minato could defeat anyone with this comb. I seriously wonder how he would deal with Obito's dimension shifting though as i do think you need to physically grab and hold someone before the death god can do his thing.
