Does reaper death seal work on tobi?

As much as people hate to admit it Minato can basically defeat all ninja. Imediatley some people will get defensive but note that I use the word defeat. Minato can merely kill any ninja along with himself. The combination of RDS and minato's increadible speed make him capable of taking down any ninja that he deems great enough to sacrifice his own life to defeat. My question is can RDS reach tobi in kamui? I would argue yes because the soul is not a physical body so its dimensional prescense isnt really a factor. I realize that we may never know and its all speculation but I would like to hear some other logical arguments for why it would or wouldnt. Also please dont just go off about how this thread is pointless I merely desire a discussion if you feel that it is a waist of time thats your issue not mine.

Does the user need to physically grab him or can the reaper just stick his arm through minato and grab tobi's sould regardless of dimension.

Well, I mean Hiruzen had to keep a hold on Oro. I would kinda figure physical contact was necessary.

In minato's fight against the kyubi i dont believe he grabbed hold of it.

Because, I don't see how the Shinigami can touch something that isn't there, as Tobi moves his body to the other dimension when he is "intangible".

His physical body moves to another dimension but the sould doesnt really exist in our three dimensional space as it is so would it really matter.

This was correct. This might be, however, because oro was in a position to fight the seal and kyubi was not. Since Kyubi was chained.

Yeah, but the soul exist inside the body, so without getting to the body first you can't access the soul.

That is possible but at the same time sarutobi was very weak at the time of the oro fight in comparison to minato thats why the RDS was so much slower so maybe the reason he needed to hold on was because of his old age.

If you cut the body the sould doesnt spill out so it isnt technically inside it it merely ocupies the same space on a different dimensional plain where the body is only accesing 3 (arguably 4) dimensions the sould can occupy one of the other 7 or 8 and therefor can be accesed through that dimmension but not the normal three so that means you can acces the sould without the body.

Nagato's Rinnegan allows him to rip souls from people bodies by touching them, we saw Naruto's soul coming out of his body when he fought Edo Nagato, so I'm pretty sure its inside the body.
