I believe it can. It would absorb the chakra out of the wood, making it just a tree and no longer a plant being controlled.

-Just like how Madara was attacked by Gaara's sand. The sand stayed as sand but was no longer manipulated by Gaara b/c there is no chakra in it.
--Without chakra it can't be controlled, this goes for wood release as well

mokuton -> chakra sucked out -> becomes normal wood - > pump chakra back in -> mokuton usable in a fight.

also depends if hashirama can control random trees in the forest aswell if he can effectively then its pointless to suck the chakra since he can pump it to something else

Think of the mokuton trees as a sword, the kinetic energy of the body is needed continuously for the wielder to slash and strike with the sword, once that flow of kinetic energy is blocked or depleted, the sword cannot be used for striking and slashing no more but the physical sword remains.

That Chakra, is generated in the ground, he sends the Chakra into the ground, converts it into a source and accelerate the growth of trees and controls them from there, too. This is the reason why the Mokuton always appears from the ground and is not just put from the air, because Hashirama creates the same process as with real trees, sending energy into the ground, converting it into a source, or rather roots and accelerates the growth from there to create trees that are based on his DNA, for which reason only those who possess Hashiramas DNA, can use Mokuton, while there are tons of fodders using other elemental Kekkei Genkai. The Mokuton and its function is further explained in the third databook. You are just wrong, that's about it.

Thats the point, he sends chakra to control it xd
That Chakra only exists in the ground, in their roots which are converted in to a source from where Hashirama can control, manipulate and let them grow. The trees themselves are not filled with Chakra, that's a superstition. The Mokuton is basically based on Hashiramas DNA. Above, any physical object has to be touched or hold, in order to absorb its Chakra (what isn't even the case with Mokuton), as the bubble of Preta Path could just keep away humans and absorb their Chakra, what also isn't the case. When it comes to Preta-Path, Owarij goes crazy, that's it. This is the reason he believes, that Nagato, who had to take a Lariat from Bee in his cloak, before absorbing a human sized Chakra cloak in a few seconds and need a respectable amount of time to absorb the natural Chakra from Naruto, will just negate real trees, without even coming in contact with them, as the barrier will keep away Mokuton techniques Hashirama can stock up to a landscape changing extent in an instant, crushing anything in his way.

I don't have the desire to keep this debate up, for me, it's clear as day that your assumption is wrong and is backed up by statements from the Manga or databook. Further, it's clear, that Nagato himself anyway stands no chance against Hashirama. So my time is no longer wasted.

I think you need a better understanding of cause-effect relationships, you are under the false assumption that the the manipulation of mokuton entails the non-necessity of chakra flowing from the user to the tree, which is false, take for example Hashirama, he creates a tree through his chakra, the tree remains as such without the continuous flow of chakra from him afterwards, however, if for example Hashirama decided to make the tree bind or lash at a target by wielding it, then he must send chakra to the tree in order to control it, the tree serves as a conduit of the chakra flow at the moment the tree was used for binding or lashing, so if that steady flow of chakra was halted or impeded like the preta path of the Rinnegan then that causes a cessation of the continous flow of chakra that was used to manipulate it, the tree remains as such but the chakra that is used to wield it is halted hence its' efficacy in battle is diminished.

I nevertheless have my belief, as the Mokuton is still based on Hashiramas DNA and is created by a special way and simultaneously used by a lot of ways.

Imagine a Mokuton tendril as a whip one holds in his hand at one hand. by swinging it, it hits you; just as Hashirama controls the tendril from its origin, swing around and accelerates the growth, automatically creating impacts. It's a life force connected with Hashiramas cells and produced at their basis, just like the wood from his body, which is supposed to be a mere reproduction of his cells; by creating new cells, he pushes the already created cells in form of trees towards the target. That's how certain Mokuton techniques are for example described. According to Preta-Paths hype, it should absorb the Mokuton from Hashiramas body but in fact it can't, as those techniques are based on Hashiramas DNA.

But I think this discussion turns in circles, the next arguments will just be the same, so we should leave it by saying that everyone has his own opinion.

When was that? I dont remember that happening

We would have seen the edo crumble effect if he was hurt, considering how frail he is that attack should have snapped him in two.

And what about the kinetic energy needed to wield the whip? just because the whip is a foreign extension of the person wielding it does not mean that the kinetic energy itself does not flow from the user to the whip, the same principle is applicable to Hashirama in wielding the Mokuton, your assumption that Hashirama controls the Mokuton because of its' similitude to his biogenetic signature through psychoneural means is merely an assumption, and based on the facts and evidences presented which is in Manga canon, the materiality and veracity of the nature and principle of its' control is best explained by the presence of chakra that facilitates its' wielding

Nagato is an Uzumaki and as you already know Uzumakis are quite strong. Any what makes lariat an dangerous attack is the chakra used. Once that was removed, it was simply Bee hurling hurling himself towards Nagato. He can easily block that with his hands which he did. In the case of mokuton, it'd still be a bigass tree coming at him.

The picture shows him stopping a lariet covered in tailed beast chakra. He doesn't lose momentum because the chakra was removed, petra path stopped it and then absorbed it, that's all Nagato did there.

As you can see from the next page Bee's momentum still carried him forward.

It took the damage out of the attack. Which is what I think started this.

Yes because in the case lariat the damage comes from the chakra being used. In the case of mokuton, the damage comes from being crushed by a giant tree, which was my original point.
