The war imo is gonna go through some OP plot twist kishi has instored. Or at least that's what I'm hoping. Besides the war is not over , Madara is too OP to be stopped by just releasing edo tensei. Trust me on this one.

Honestly, i agree with you. Shippuuden would make a great ending if Pain was the final villain, somewhere before him we would have Gai vs Kisame, resulting in Kisame's death. Kabuto would be killed by Sasuke after he finished Orochimaru. Zetsu could go his own ways, and Tobi? What about him?
IMO it would have been fine if Tobi always stayed as a "comedic" Akatsuki Member. If there was no purpose to him except adding a character to make Akatsuki's mood brighter. The whole "I am Uchiha Madara" quote made Tobi's purpose stretch out too much.
Pain could make a great ending. Maybe after Pain we could a short arc, where Naruto meets Sasuke and they have ultimate battle, and Sasuke returns to the village. The series would do good even if it was short. How can Sasuke return now, after he attacked Kage Summit? No sense, yet it will happen anyways >_>.
The war is overpowering main characters and destroying every side ones, including revived Akatsuki Members. It also tries to make Hashirama and Madara godly, ruining everyones character out of question. Soon we'll have Perfect Cell 9000 Nappa Susanoo if Madara will be keep there.

Yh. Part 1 fights where more realistic and more interesting to watch. Part 2 the power levels has destroyed the anime imo. Dont get me wrong i like the idea of itachi being this op xd, but there has to be a limit.
Madara just revealed a susano that can compete with a bijuu and cut mountains in one swoop. The so called 5 kages, strongest of their respective village are getting their ass handed to them without madara needing to break a sweat.
The greatest mistake kishi made is when he made ninja's who arent kage's stronger stronger than kages. Its okay if there was a small group of ninja's who were stronger than kages and would challenge them, but now there are many ninja's who arent kages and are far far stronger than the kages.
Even currently, kabuto even without edo tensei is stronger than the kages individually.
Same goes for ems sasuke.

I remember when the series was introduced and there was a brief explanation of the 5 great villages and the kages and i was thinking damn these mofo's must be cream of the crop. Now i laugh at the kage title because it means absolutely nothing

The war has been trash. I wanted kage deaths and death period. what is the point in bringing back ninja from to dead to lose again instead of killing a few people. kakashi should of stayed dead. How come kakashi has yet to at least speak on the new sharingan. instead of crappy flash backs, show kakashi training to get rasengan and MS. naruto forgave nagato for killing most the village wtf?
Naruto did not need biju mode and for christ sakes he reminds me of ichigo, using only one tech. Sasuke's revenge is stupid now, itachi is a liar and a ****. the kage should be dead, how the hell can tsunade fight on par here, yet pain gave them the business like that?
orochimaru should of not been sealed he is the original villain here besides tobi. there is no love for side chars, and what the hell is sakura's role? this manga is going out on such bad notes like DBZ did. too many power up's that are not needed. sage mode is good enough for EMS. the biju mode makes no sense at all and never will. EMS pretty much just keeps them from going blind, so i dont see why naruto had to be powered up.

I look at Kishi being lazy Idk why he's being lazy.
For example I thought Mifune & Hanzo was going to be an awesome battle. But nope Hanzo is pitted against the only opponent who could stop him. Don't get me wrong Hanzo has an awesome idea on peace and honor.
KinGin bros. I expected them to be godly with Kyubbi chakra, they took on 2nd Raikage and Tobirama, possibly killed Tobirama, took on the Kyubbi survived
By eatings its insides, had some sage weapons, seeing how A got angry when they came to the field. The KinGin bros built up such a badass hype just to get shutdown by wordplay weapons.
Beyond that sevenswordsman, kimi chiyo, kakuzu, dan were all trolled. lazy
Muu and Nagato were all taken out by 3 different kage level fighters, another form of lazy
Then Edo-Madara becomes the most OP in the history of Anime.

tbh i really expected a lot from the Itachi & Sasuke vs. Kabuto fight. That had the potential to being one of the best fights ever and as it should be as things wind dwn. Kish have have really lost interest in the series or tired of the pressure behind it all.
Right now we're just putting up with it because we are loyal fans and hope for the best, but we can be very disappointed by the lack of detail put forth lately.
