Particularly towards teh end of the series, I thought he did a good job. Examples being Sakura defeating Kaguya, saving Sasuke, saving Naruto, healing all of teh alliance, tanking Madara's rod neg diff and Hinata defeating Toneri's cleaning robot puppets.

Sakura had no powers handed to her. She started learning a jutsu when she started training with Tsunade and it blossomed in the war and she used the techniques that go along with it. She literally said in shippuden to Naruto to comfort him that they would get stronger together anyone who was doubtful was anti Saku.

Not because anti-fans didn't want her to get the power of the sannin she was training under means that it was handed to her. If you want to look at actual hand outs look to Naruto and Sasuke. Who literally did.

Lol did you even watch the movie... watch it again Sakura ships NH hard. Naruto had to come to it himself obviously but he was reminded several times to go after Hinata by her. She even threatened to use CES on him if he ever let Hinata go again...

I mean from a narrative stand point. Kishimoto just shoved the Byakugo on her last second to make her relevant, though it's debatable whether he even did, at the end of the series.

Well, Tsunade said it took years of storing chakra to achieve the seal, he put her in position to learn from Tsunade years before she was able to achieve it as well. If she had come under tutoring of Tsunade in shippuden then I would have called bs. However that was not the case. So that is just my take.

If he was going to give her a hand out it should have been better than that because, he showed even after finally achieving her true power she worked for in shippuden. It happened in a time where she was severely outclassed in terms of present enemies.

Very realistic in my opinion. Unfortunate in her case but he still managed to make her relevant in a realistic way via being a chakra battery but it was tasteful.
