[Discussion] Do you now consider luffy to be as strong as doflamingo?

Luffy has defeated doflamingo, He done so partly due to the aid of trafalgar law and others. The question is this:How significant were their involvements? Would luffy be able to defeat doflamingo without the help of law?

I think luffy has to train more but not much to be able to take doffy by himself because he couldn't finish him off the first time he did gear 4

He's close but no. Without Law he would have definitely lost. Even after Gear 4, Doflamingo had the strength to defeat him, and would have had it not been for everyone covering for Luffy for those 10 minutes. He'd have never gotten the chance to beat Doffy by himself

Uhhhh no. Luffy can hardly scratch Doffy without G4. Even with his organs in tatters, Doffy was sill making a fool out of Luffy.

Doflamingo is still stronger. I thought this was obvious since it took both Law & Luffy to take him out and some stalling for Luffy to use G4 again.

Technically with G4 he is much stronger, the problem is the time limit. A healthy Doflamingo will win because he can just outlast him and kill him when its over.

Mingo isn't going to be the winner for long though, by the Wano arc Luffy will be ahead imo. Luffy just needs to improve that time limit and also needs serious CoA improvement if he hopes to harm Kaido.

Is this a real question? Even with Law's help Luffy wasn't able to stop Doffy with G4, if the people hadn't protected him after his G4 ran out Luffy would be dead, therefor the answer is a clear and resounding No, Luffy could not win on his own yet.

G4 itself is probably a level above Doffy, simply during G4 Doffy had no answer to it physically or in terms of speed, simply he was inferior to G4 but the problem is how much Luffy's stamina gets drained by G4 and there is the problem of time limit, so technically no he would still lose, not because he is weaker but because of restrictions that his own powers have, and seeing how Doffy can survive 30 minutes of onslaught by Luffy he would just kill him after G4 runs out seeing how Luffy barely moves due to the exhaustion of G4, so no Doffy still wins high diff.

I always thought that they were on an equal level. Luffy mainly used Gear 4th to take out Doflomingo quickly. Had he not have a time limit I think Luffy would have taken Doflomingo out on a difficulty similar to Rob Lucci.
