I have 3 guy bestfriend but I spend most of my time with my girl bestfriend. I value friendship more than my own blood, they are people I chose and that chose to be with me, not people I am obligated to love.

I agree with the "This thread is depressing" comments.
As for me, right now I have no best friends. But, I just graduated high school and I'm "in between jobs" at the moment, so I don't really leave the house, nor do I talk on the phone with "friends" from school. My last best friend decided that I sucked as a friend so we haven't talked since 11th grade, but now he wants to be "friends again", while I'm kind of iffy on that.
The best friend before that started hanging out with people who held more of his interests, so we kind of drifted apart.

I'm sure I'll find a new one someday.
