Nah but seriously, I don't believe beating your kids is the right way to discipline them.

I don't see what the big problem is, ppl always say it's horrendous but I and my brothers turned out fine. There's a difference in discipline and abuse

I really think parents should sometimes let the kids do something bad and let them get in danger or the feeling of it, so they will not do that same mistake again. Plus, I mean small dangers not something like getting stalked by paedophiles or anything, lol. Umm, beating kids is quite a traditional thing. So if you have to, then make sure that it doesn't scar their bodies or breaks their bones. :| Even though, I still think violence towards kids is bad and some really get scarred.

It's not always the parents fault. Each kid is different and some just need a beating.

I do think that to some extent it can be necessary but not in the abuse sense nor extremely violent. My father only beated twice but other than that he mostly used reverse psychology. I do deal with lots of kids and 90% of them lack discipline especially because their parents are ridicuslously lenient nowadays. I'm not saying they should beat them everytime they do something wrong but they sure should teach them to accept a No for an answer.
