i mean Ay got beaten in less than a second.

also remenber what happen to full kurama (kuybi rampage on konoha) after Minato showed up on the battle field.

-full kurama knock down (wit summoning help ) then teleported elsewhere
-the list goes on

i suggest u to go back and read some previous chapters which illustrate Minatos abilities.

That was old Hiruzen, and he did avoid a fatal attack by one of the fasted characters in the series.
He admitted himself hes not use to sage mode in battle.

Minato was going to severely injure or kill A with a kunai, Bee had to push A out the way and Minato cut mostly through it with no leverage. Minato fought against A and Bee more than once and they still couldn't beat him, A thought Minato couldn't be surpassed until he saw KM Naruto. Bee actually trembled when Naruto mentioned Minato during his training with Bee. Minato actually has a large chakra reserve, to learn SM it requires you to have a large chakra reserve as Pa toad told Naruto.
Minato's base Rasengan is larger than Naruto's and Jiraiya so his is stronger than theirs plus Chidori is lightning element, same as Lightning armor, a Kakashi actually stopped one of Kakuza's lightning jutsus because he uses raiton as well so don't say Rasengan can't do what Chidori couldn't without remembering the same element can counter itself.
Tsk tsk. You do know Naruto was told the same thing for his perfect SM right? It took Naruto time to gather natural energy and blend it with his chakra aka kneading Senjutsu and he only last in SM for about 5 minutes aka can't maintain it for long. Minato have perfect SM as noticed by his eyes, Naruto was said to have perfect SM for the same reason by Pa toad. Minato is at the same level Pein arc Naruto was with SM except Naruto figured out how to lengthen his time without relying on fusing with the toads; using shadow clones. Minato mastered SM but it didn't fit into his fighting style because as Pa toad told Naruto, he can't use it without having his teammates but him time to enter SM which requires being still.
Minato's fighting style it to strike fast and hard to take out his enemies ASAP. He could take out most people in the time it would take to get into SM which also prevent the risk of his teammates getting hurt if it's a strong ninja. Minato has other jutsus we haven't seen but he never needed to use them in the fights we've seen in flashbacks when he can take his opponent out in a way that takes less time and requires fewer chakra.
As for Edo SM Minato, you do know SM wouldn't enhance anything but Minato's reserves right? Senjutsu enhances the body, Pa toad even said it awakens the body in a number of ways. You can't enhance a dead body like that unless they use chakra to augment their capabilities like Tsunade's super strength, Raikages's lightning armor, chakra in the feet for more speed, ect... Senjutsu isn't like that so Edo Minato= Edo SM Minato in all but chakra reserves and a better sensory ability. So alive Minato>Edo Minato/Edo SM Minato in overall stats but reserves. Plus Edo Minato had his chakra absorbed by the god tree so he wasn't even at full reserves; he's been doing nothing fighting wise from when he had his chakra absorbed until about Madara arrived so that was enough time to replenish some chakra.

It's safe to assume Minato had a number of ways to beat A. According the manga they met and fought a number of times. Minato was always faster, and A never thought anyone would ever surpass him. In other words, A admitted his inferiority. There's not much else to it.
