Only if the texts are educational based, otherwise I don't give a shyt...unless it's Conspirator. He must reply to everything I say, even if he's hanging from a cliff.

I think you should only ask or bother with it if it was something important or serious you wanted to know, but if it's like wanting to know what they're doing or to say hi I don't think it'd be that serious to bother them with it.

I think everyone can say that they can't stand when people don't reply to their texts. It's just annoying, right?

Well here's what I'm wondering, when you ask your friends on why they didn't reply, does that piss them off or annoy them? Like say you go up to your friend and say "Hey bud I texted you yesterday, why no reply bro?" is it even worth it? I'm naturally very curious on why I don't get a reply back when I don't and I want to know why lol. Has someone ever asked you why you didn't respond, how'd you feel?

Thoughts?
It comes off as needy and clingy, you don't know what I could be doing but it would be annoying if I was forced to explain myself everytime I didn't answer a message at that exact time. Stop being so nitpicky, what if I told you I didn't feel like answering at that time even if I could because I just felt lazy? You're going to drive all your friends away by being a control freak like that.

I normally just don't bother to text anymore in this kind of situations, let alone asking for a justification lol. If they don't reply I just understand that they're either busy or just plainly unwilling to continue the convo.

Ehm... >.>

Most of my online dramas happened because I felt offended when people - whom I considered close [whatever that means online] - didn't reply (basically ditched the convo) and when I pointed this out or asked for an explanation, we ended up fighting ( ._. ) Now I've just gotten used to being ditched (even real life "friends" stopped answering for different or similar reasons).

So yeah I think it's impolite, then ironically I'm the bad guy if I stalk them why they don't answer/what they are busy with :|
Lol im sorry that made me laugh. Yh I have this one friend and it does piss me off. He does reply just takes bloody ages to do it. I told another friend about this whos both our friend and hes says he replies to him straight away. I felt quite offended there

I give people the benefit of the doubt. Examples: maybe something came up/happened; maybe the person was not aware of my message; maybe the person saw it but for whatever reason, they could not respond at the time (s/he was driving/at work/was unwell/did not feel like talking etc.). Another possibility is that the person may be upset with something that I did and is not ready to talk to me yet. However, I think there is a difference between not responding (immediately) to a random message versus leaving a conversation without saying anything. Again, I like to have a more favorable view of someone and believe that there was no malicious intent. But if it happens frequently enough, and I guess depending on who the person is to me, then yes, it can be a little hurtful/uncourteous. The most I would do is point it out and check in with the person if it becomes regular; I would not pry for an explanation.

To be honest with you I do that all the time towards my friends. When I don't feel like talking anymore I don't reply back. Whenever they need me (I mean need me) then I'll talk them back but that's not the case most of the times. It's not like that I don't like them it just that I'm busy with other stuff that they can become irrelevant in my life.
