Some members in the base like to argue that ameterasu is an instant jutsu. That, even if someone tried to FTG out of the way, he'd still be hit. I'm going to disprove that logic in this thread.

As we saw, ameterasu can be sensed, and blocked:

"I sensed that you were focusing chakra in your left eye." ~ Obito Uchiha
Obito clearly says that.

Then we know, Tobirama is on the top 3 list of best sensors to live. He is so(let me make up a word here), sensorly inclined, that he could sense the make up of Orochimaru's body.

"... His body is almost completely made of my brothers cells..." ~ Tobirama Senju

If he can see the make up of Orochimaru's body, surely he can sense chakra focusing in Sasuke's eye. I'm not going to sit here and compare Minato and Tobirama's sensing abilities, so I will merely say, Tobirama would be the one who can dodge ameterasu. Not Minato. However, if Minato's sensing abilities were on par with Tobirama, then of course he can.

Thus, it can be said FTG > Ameterasu spawning on you, as it can be sensed.

Now, onto, can FTG escape the eternal flames, or will they be transported with the users body. The answer, to me is obvious. The flames will merely fall to the ground. We've already deduced, as a community, that FTG enables the user to select, in their range of chakra, who, and what they want to transport. It would be foolish to believe the user would willingly teleport with ameterasu still on them.

This point has been proven over, and over again. Twice in this recent chapter alone:

1.

"I'll have to jump with it!" ~ Minato Namikaze
Minato is physically making the choice to use FTG with the explosive ball(due to lack of naming).

Again, we have another instance where the user chooses to FTG the ball.

2.
You must be registered for see images

"I'll return this to you" ~ Tobirama Senju

Tobirama chooses to teleport himself, and the explosive, and force it back into Juubito. He is physically holding the ball as well.

Conclusion:
1. FTG > Ameterasu if the user of FTG has an extreme proficiency in sensing, I.E; Tobirama.
2. FTG > Ameterasu even if the ameterasu is on the user. The user chooses, what and who to teleport with him.
Thank you for reading :scorps:

I think this would be a better example tpo say FTG>>Amaterasu

Minato made a contact with most powerful amaterasu(stronger than normal amatarasu)as wel as most pwrful futon jutsu and easily escaped it and those who dnt agree with this are Fanboys..it clearly show Naruto and Sasuke pushing MInato backwards......

and Yes Minato is one of the best sensor and he is on par with Tobirama

He is also able to sence Obito right after his arrival behind Minato(on Hokage face)...........!

No see Obito was tangilbe, but once Minato was being warped he became untangible and teleported. The chains are different because Obito was attached to the chains and attempting to wrap up Minato. Minato escaped before being wrapped.

It was said during the fight with Konan that Obito needs to be tangable to wrap others as wel as to teleport himself.....
Konan used this as advantage and Obito was forced to use Izanagi............

stop speaking in tounge and explain properly then.
Damn... I had a pretty good counter, but read another post and forgot it... I'll edit when I remember.

Edit, nvm I remember. It stuck to Minato without him realizing it. Minato teleported without the actual knowledge that it was on him. The point I'm trying to make with FTG is that, the reason the person is using the teleportation, is to escape the ameterasu. Thus, they will know if it's on them. They will physically feel it burning. It's not like it's on them discretely. Minato merely teleported himself, which he can do. If he's just using the basic format of FTG, where it just teleports themselves, then of course he won't even notice. That much should already tell you he didn't know it was there.

Read this please.

I know how kamui works. Obito was tangible Minato was not.

Read this please.

Okay but that doesn't discredit anything else I've been saying.

ive never seen this happen

Enton is the highest form of flame control. Sasuke was able to hold on to a enton blade without burning himself.

Yes chances are, especially with sensing, it can be evaded with Hiraishin.

But any chance arises.

Yes it appears that an hiraishin user can choose what they decide to teleport with them, however that isn't a passive ability, meaning without awareness of an attack, anything within the range of an hiraishin user if they decide to teleport they take back with them what is within the hiraishin range.

So basically, anything within the range of hiraishin is automatically teleported along with the user.
But the user can decide what they want to teleport back with them. If the user lacks awareness, they teleport back with them an attack that was within the range of their hiraishin as we saw with minato lacking awareness of obit's attack and warped back with him the jubidama.

Its possible that an attack as quick is amaterasu, though yes it can evaded with hiraishin, it may very well be within the hiraishin range when the hiraishin user teleports therefore warping with them the attack

That isn't amaterasu it's enton rasen shuriken and it's being controlled by Naruto and Sasuke. They aren't wild and uncontrolled flames of amaterasu. The power is being controlled.

Even if what you are saying is true then rasenshuriken should have sent Minato flying as well and the technique should have already hit. However it had no effect on him or the technique like we saw.

What we see in the scan is my explanation. Naruto and Sasuke released the technique onto Obito. The power of rasenshuirken sent him flying and has already expanded the Enton onto his body.
I knw that u dnt knw the meaning of Sasukes Enton.....
Enton is nothing but controling Amatarasu as he wish in other words shape manipulation of Amatarasu......!
See this....

I think ur blind...Thire attack clearly made contack with MInato and he managed to escape b4 the attack damage him,,,

See this......

Here u can clearly observe Naruto and Sasuke pushng MInato backwrds........!
if u still dnt agree ,I dnt care and it is Obvious fanboys dnt use logics.............

Two different instances. Minato wasn't wrapped yet.

This is the instance he was talking about. The first time Obito tried to warp Minato, he didnt use his chains

Yes Obito didn't wrapped MInato at that time and Minato managed to escape from that with the help of FTG that dosen't mean that he is intangible right......?

Makes no sence......?
Do U think Minato can make himself Intangable or smthng.......?

When Obito warps his opponent they become intanigble because they are crossing dimensions. Obito can't possibly hold minato's hand while he's being warped.

i have no idea what you mean by minato becoming intangible, when someone says obito is intangible they mean that some part of him is in kamui dimension, no part of minato was sent to kamui dimension

The chains are different because Obito was attached to the chains and attempting to wrap up Minato. Minato escaped before being wrapped.

Chains being attached to obito means what? the chains and obito are in contact with minato, both of them should have gone with minato

Yes contact but not attached. The debate here is can he escape amaterasu while being attached to it which is absurd. Minato wasn't attached to the chains.

Makes sence but if ur correct
Then there is no need for Obito either to made a contack with Minato or to hold his hand while tryng to Drag him..........

We can clearly Observe that Obito holdng Minato's hand and Obito's had closed after MInato escaped just like when we loose smthng in our hand.............

The chains were physically attached to his body, just like amaterasu. This is proved by the fact that Nagato was able to get amaterasu off him with shinra tensei.

we arent going anywhere, your definition of intangibility seems to be different

Obito needs him to hold still is my guess. Kamui is also very fast however Minato is fast enough to escape it with ftg mid warp.

and his hand actually opened up but I don't think it means anything.

No he was not and shinra tensei is alot different. If the chains were attached and completely wrapped he could not make this handseal.

Meaning he had enough space to not be fully wrapped.... not attached.
