This post marks the beginning of my (our) mission using these storyboard elements:
-Custom Faction Mission: Save the citizens of Degarashi from danger (5)
-Defeat a horde of zombies without using your ninjutsu (5)

Summary: After coming to a compromise with the Black Ones operative, Akane brought out the rest of the team and suited up for their first assignment. They have decided to first get rid of the zombies that were set loose in the citizen's section of Degarashi and lead the citizens to safety.

Gawking through the windows at the events unfolding, Akane let out a long, exasperated sigh that sounded like a cry for help. The shit she had to put up with to look good.

“Give me a breaaaak! Wait a minute HBO, i need to change.”
“HBO? Are you referring to me?”

Akane found a door which led to a near-empty storage room. She entered and locked the door behind her. It would have to do. In a puff of smoke her transformation ended, revealing the other four Stars she had hidden. She then retrieved two large scrolls from her pack and unfurled them, unsealing a set of hazmat suits and archery equipment. She knew they would come in handy someday. After fully equipping themselves, the five exited the room, to HBO’s surprise. He couldn’t tell who was Akane as their helmets obscured their faces.

( Han'you Fūin ) - Generic Sealing Technique x2
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary , Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: This technique is a standard ninja skill which allows a ninja to summon an assortment of items or weapons that have been stored using Fūinjutsu, typically they are stored within scrolls. When needed, the owner will activate the seals releasing their item or weapon of choice. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons. The items themselves are unaffected by time. This Technique allows the user to seal any weapons they wish being their own or opponents.
Note: Cannot seal opponent's custom weapons, or the special weapons of a particular character ( example: Samehada or Kubikiribocho ).
Note: Can only seal corpses, and not injured people regardless of the extent of their injury.

“W-who?!...where did those come from?”

Akane tossed a small radio to him and her voice came out of it.

“Calm down. I told you already, we’re professionals. Keep me updated while i clean up the city a little. Chalk this up as an assignment while you’re at it. This is going to be one hell of a chore.”

Astra stood outside the door, watching and waiting until the music that had been playing constantly during the attack stopped entirely. If they had to guess, they would say the assailant was gone, but they couldn’t be too sure. After placing a tag on the ground and forming a handseal Astra caused a large spherical barrier invisible to the naked eye to expand and encompass the entire city. There was no time to waste searching for people. Now they had the positions of all the people and zombies in the area. No one stood out as particularly threatening besides the two bodies dropping out of the sky. With no time to make a decision, and only seconds to plan their route, Astra rushed out of the building toward the nearest horde.

(Kyōkai Kekkai no Jutsu) - Boundary Barrier Technique
Rank: A-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30 (-10 per turn remaining active)
Damage points: N/A
Description: This is a detection type barrier which is simply a more advanced version of the (Kekkai: Tengai Hojin) - Barrier: Dome Method Formation technique and that can be used to surround an area and allows the user to monitor a certain area covering from the sky to underneath the ground creating a sphere. The user will create a tag with the 許可 (Kyoka) Kanji and place it on the ground, doing the confrontation hand seal afterwards to activate it. After the barrier is erected, the user, if inside it, will be able to detect any enemy inside it, even if he hiding his presence. After that, anyone who enters or leaves the barrier is instantly detected as well as anything that moves inside it. Techniques that mask the users presence are ineffective at avoiding detection as the barrier focuses on movement and displacement of matter, not solely on chakra detection. The barrier can also be moved according to the requirements of the user by moving the tag.
Note: Can only be used twice.

Splitting up to cover more ground, each Star leapt from rooftop to rooftop in their protective suits and bows readied. Soon one of them came across a swarm of viscous undead who had a group of ordinary citizens backed into a corner. Whatever was in the orange concoction pouring from the sky had the citizens screaming and flailing about like they were delirious. All the noise they made only seemed to attract more zombies to them. What a combination. Every time a zombie would get close to taking a bite out a poor human, its head would get pierced right through by an arrow shot from one of Astra’s bows. Interesting. It seemed targeting the head was just as effective on the living dead as the living. If only these lunatics could keep still and STOP GETTING IN THE WAY!

After picking off the first batch of walkers Astra had the relatively healthy survivors find a safe place to hide or take care of other less fortunate survivors.

“HBO, come in. Find me a hospital or at least an empty building where i can quarantine some of these survivors. It looks like some sick **** has been raining poison AND zombies. Might be the fun, hallucinogenic kind rather than the painful, killing kind.” Akane said while using her Rinnegan to examine a man who was kicking and screaming in the arms of another Star like he was still under attack. At some point Astra had to invent a way to clear out the poison without revealing any of their abilities but it was probably the only opportunity would ever get to wear hazmat suits. They rode it out as long as possible, just for the novelty of it. As hard as they fought, or as fast as they ran, Black Ones still littered the streets. Every now and then they stopped to gather Black One outfits in one spot to eventually seal in a scroll for...sanitation purposes, when no one was looking of course.

“Akane, i just called in. We’re defending a large storage facility at the south end of Degarshi. Patrols are trying to move more survivors that way.”

“Thanks. Keep the regular civilians away from the north side. I’m about to gather the zombies there after i clear up this poison. Once that’s done the remaining zombies shouldn’t be too hard to keep out the city.”

“Got it.”

The rain was becoming more of a nuisance than they thought. It wasn’t Astra who was hindered but the soldiers and the summoning corps. Once Astra made it safe for everyone else to move around, the burden of moving the injured could be put on others so Astra could focus on the zombies. Standing on a tall building in the middle of the city, Akane formed a handseal and focused wind chakra in her lungs. She lifted her helmet briefly to release a huge wind blast toward the sky. The mass of compressed wind violently expanded as it pierced the sickly orange clouds, scattering the clouds entirely and leaving a clear sky above Degarashi. Akane quickly lowered her helmet over her face after exhaling the wind. She didn’t need the people’s recognition. She was just doing a job.

(Fūton: Atsugai) - Wind Style: Pressure Damage
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user does the Ram handseal and inhales, kneading his chakra into his lungs, exhaling a huge blast of wind that levels anything in its path. Can cause major damage and requires a sufficient chakra level to perform. This large wind blast moves in tremendous speed and cannot be controlled. If the user gets caught in it, it will harm him also.

As refreshing as it was to see a clear sky again she knew it had to be brief. Forming handseals once more, she materialized rain clouds of her own across the sky. A heavy downpour graced the muck covered city, making the orange spots fade as they diluted and flowed down the city streets toward the eastern port. The screams of terror that once filled the city quieted down.

(Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake handseals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

With Akane’s detection barrier keeping pinpointing on all the undead roaming the streets, the Stars got ready to round up the zombies. The idea was to draw their attention and guide them north away from the citizens, essentially splitting the city into danger zones and safe zones. Detonating paper bombs in the air periodically while moving north pulled along much of the zombie infestation with them. Fortunately, the zombie population couldn’t traverse buildings as easily as Astra could so jumping across buildings ensured they wouldn’t get caught in a mob.

Akane’s attention was brought to the city’s northern edge. Ahead of her third-rate undead continued to roam lifelessly from the hole, apparently prevented from leaving the landmark by a massive set of walls. All of this was very deliberate and it was becoming clear that the source of the infestation wasn’t here but elsewhere. Groups of soldiers fought back the horde the best they could but they didn’t have unlimited stamina. They needed a fighting chance. Akane slammed her hands on the ground and made a set of tall walls emerge from the earth along the hole’s edge. The walls were too sheer for any zombie to climb which made it impossible for them to exit.

(Kyousei Doton No Jutsu) – Greater Earth Style Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defense
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Descripton: Creates strong pillars, tools and shields made out of earth.

“HBO, listen. Tell all the Black Ones and summoners at the north end to assemble around me. I need their cooperation for this.”

After receiving a call, the soldiers stopped fighting and backed off the where Akane was. The Stars guiding the city’s zombies to here were also getting close. She slammed her hands on the ground once again, creating a very long wall beneath her on the soldiers spanning the entire northern edge of the city. She also created two more at the sides to effectively box in the leftover zombies that had come through the hole. When the other four Stars joined them at the top of the wall, they directed the soldier’s attention to the numerous zombies they all gathered at the foot of the wall behind them. Astra proceeded to rain many exploding tags onto the writhing mass of zombies below. The soldiers saw what they were doing and followed suit, dropping their own explosives into the mix. At Astra’s signal the bombs were detonated all at once and the resulting blast utterly decimated most of the horde. Rotten limbs and bone flew in every direction. The few “surviving” zombies near the wall were in hardly any shape to move, much less become a threat.
After thanking the soldiers who assisted them, Astra returned to the HBO’s office. Of the five only Akane walked in, the rest continued to patrol the streets to leisurely assist other groups in handling the damage. She found HBO on the phone behind a desk cluttered with papers.

(Doton: Chidōkaku) - Earth Release: Moving Earth Core x3
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

“Oh! Akane! We’re starting to gain control of the situation again but there are still areas that need attention. The HQ is top priority right n--”

“I’m on break. Please mark my assignment down as complete. Once i’m ready i’ll accept another.”

“And until then?”

“...just put me up to speed on what’s been going on around here lately. You apparently have some enemies.”

After roughly seventy minutes of contamination and not being cured a large portion of the infected who were still living would be left paralyzed. Their bodies would grow irresponsive as the poison took a firm root circulating through the body causing an intense feeling of suffocation. This created and spread a plague similar to that felt by the Red Fever accompanied by severe paralysis and shaking. It would cause devastation no matter the individual's standing. The only ones safe from the onslaught would be the politicians and generals locked away in their fortifications.
This played into Sado's plan heavily. He wanted to cause unrest and an uprising. Hitting the people and the HBO's meant that many would die and many more would be left behind to pick up the pieces of their broken lives. They might turn their anger inward toward those who couldn't protect them.
The politicians and the army the ones who promised them safety but provided none merely attacking outwardly at the world like Shinramoto the land that in the darkest hour protected their own. Slowly each poisoned individual's lungs would stop, as their smooth, skeletal and cardiac muscles would grow irresponsive. This would leave a lot of them unable to inflate their lungs and unable to draw oxygen into their body. Hangurian Black Ones and common people alike would obviously begin to fall like flies.
They would be reanimated soon after their deaths lashing out uncontrollably at those around them. They would attack anything that moved, family, friends, Hangurian Black Ones, it didn't matter as they were mindless drones now. Those with poison on their body would spread the infection through cross-contamination smearing poison on others which would repeat the process causing another wave of fear to swell up from inside the once safe quarantined area.
Sadly no one had dealt with the main problem directly which was the poison acting upon the bodies of the numerous citizens and HBO's who had been infected by the poison rain. This would leave the once safe quarantine zones a hotbed of undead activity and destruction. It would have taken a long time to enter into the killing stage, which may have made some think it wasn't as serious as it was but now is when it would occur roughly seventy minutes after the initial contamination.
The rain falling from the sky was long gone by now but its effects were still rocking Degarashan to its core. Some of them could still be saved if the officials and individuals trying to help learned their mistakes and began working toward the goal of saving the rest immediately.

This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:
- Custom: Help evacuate helpless citizens from an infested town. (4)
- Custom: Defend yourself against Takauji's men & the undead horde (5)

Summary: After coming to an emotional decision about her actions on the Landmark Degarashan, Lena had decided against her own plan and now attempts to help those she brought terror towards. She was in a state that brought inner conflict to herself and tore herself in two halves of morality.

As Lena fell she noticed Salazzle dive off after her, manifesting some wings that allowed her to control herself. Lena smiled as the Lizard was intent on joining her for this, it was nice to have back up and a friend. The threaded woman performed a Rat hand seal and then stretched out her arm for Salazzle and the two met, Lena held on tight using Salazzle's wings as a glider whilst manipualting the air currents around the city. She used her other hand to guild the wind, pushing the poisoned rain towards the Militia's Half of the City towards the north for she had no care about saving or going to their aid but instead to help the civilians in this section. Obviously the poison rain would have already affected everyone in the city, but it was the save her from being infected in the first place. The rain being controlled by these strong wind currents would now be falling in just one half of the city above where the Militia and Takauji's men lived and roamed the streets.

Fūton: Kiryū Ranbu) - Wind Release: Air Current Wild Dance
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40 (+15 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After making the Rat handseal, the user creates and controls air currents from the palms of their hands, forming a large field of raging air currents and gusting winds. The technique expands quickly, rapidly spanning through all of the battle field, gathering debris, dust and other small particles in its path. The technique effectively creates a very large controllable "dust" storm.

Note: Lasts 3 turns or until released.

With Salazzle as her glider Lena moved closer into the city, her first spot was a woman and her child screaming and running for their life into an Alley. Before she disappeared from view Lena noticed the undead chasing after her also moving into the alley, but Lena and Salazzle were moving off course, she had to think quick and pulled out a Kunai with string. As they glided downwards Lena threw the Kunai and it hit the corner of a building, she swung using it as an anchor and arced around the building pulling herself back in the direction of the alley and then she let go of Salazzle diving at full force into the back of the zombies, knocking about two over with one kick. Lena rolled across the floor in front of the scared woman and her child, being a wall between her and the undead.

"Don't worry I'll take care of them."

Lena stomped and crushed the head of one of the Zombies she landed on, the other began to slowly rise but LEna didn't give it a chance - kicking the zombie in the chest and sent it cluttering into another, losing both their balances and falling over. She runs up the side of the wall and performs a spinning back kick against an undead's head, swiping it from it's shoulders before landing. Lena was now the attention of the zombies. She curled up her hands into fists and from between her knuckles she grew three blades on each hand a growled as they punctured her skin due to the pain, she looked at the zombies closing in on her and calculated her next move. They stood no chance.

(Fujitsuboātsu : Thoracica no bodi) - Barnacle Arts : Body of the Thoracica (B-Rank)
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: C - A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 15 - 30
Damage Points: 30 - 60
Description:
All "Thoracica" Type Barnacles can use this, manipulating their shells so that the essentially grow and they become spiked like many needles are protruding from them and this just makes their body more dangerous so they cannot be touched by enemy hands. They can then manipulate to form ninja tools, weapons or other kinds of constructs, though depending on the size of the Barnacle Summoning using this they can only make a certain amount of things.

C-Rank : Can be used by Single Thoracica Barnacles or above and can create small tools like Kunai and Shuriken can be made in singles, Senbon can only be made in threes - since these shells can only be manipulated to an extent, once the form is taken it cannot be changed unless this technique is used again to manipulate it

B-Rank : Can be used by Small Groups of Thoracica Barnacles or above and can create a barrage of Kunai or Shuriken, a wave of Senbon. They can create weapons as big as Spears or even shields all the barnacles would contribute by stemming off their shells to create a large shield. They can create singular pieces of armour like gauntlets, chestplates or masks - can only create one of these.

A-Rank : Can be used by a Community of Barnacles like "Oregon" or above and can fire ordinary-sized swords or large shuriken, create and wield Large weapons like Battleaxes, giant swords, even walls or a group of spikes from the earth (Contact with the earth must be made). The Communities can create full sets of armour.

The barnacle usually creates these tools for the user but they can launch them towards enemies at short range as well if need be. The Launched Shell Tool can stand up to elements however the shells are weak to lightning and strong to water. Like "Gadget Barnacle" the user can use this technique but only by clicking his fingers to summon a weapon within the limits of the chosen rank, the user cannot manipulate the shell though

- Can only be used by Thoracica Type Barnacles and not by barnacles without shell.
- C-Rank only has Short Range, B-Rank is Limited to Mid and A-Rank Long.
- User can only use the A-Rank version four times
- Must have signed Barnacle Summon Contract
- Can only be taught by LonelyAssassinn

As Lena made a punch with her left hand she let out a roar and impaled a zombie's head coming directly at her, all three blades embedded in the head - making a right mess. She yanks the fist from the head and arcs her arm around, splitting another undead's head into four sections before using this momentum to spin around on her foot performing a spinning back kick with her left and sending another cartwheeling across the air into the opposite wall. She comes back around to face them and swiftly follows up her movement by thrusting her right arm forward, stabbing the undead in the head with her right - though with a little too much power she pulls away; the head remaining attached to her blades but not the body it belonged too. With all her strength she performed a throwing motion with said hand and the head slid off the blades, flying towards the zombie she forced to cartwheel across the other side of the alley and splatted against it's head like two melons exploding. Lena swiped with one arm and then swiped with another, she cut down the walking fleshbags with ease until she stood there, heavily breathing she looked at the woman and child who seemed deathly afraid of her now.

Lena walked over and the woman backed up with her child in arms, screaming wildly. She was under the effect of the poison and it was too much for them. Lena placed her hands against the child and diagnosed her before using her own chakra as a medium to extract the poison, she had to do this through the thrashing due to the woman panicking and being terrified. Lena took the hits and extracted the poison successfully and did so again on the child removing the poison fully. Lena then rummaged through her things, she had dealt with poison before due to being at sea with her fellow sailors, they had been in contact with poisonous sealife and she had the means to treat them so always carried medical herbs on her at all time for things like this.

"Salazzle, tell me a bit about this poison Sado uses."

As she was being told the details Lena used this information to create and antidote from the extracted poison and her herbs, she managed to make a few vials of antidote and a mint leaf to apply a drop to. Lena walked over to the pair as they'd calmed down, their fears less visible she handed the child and mother a mint leaf and they both chewed on it. Lena had enough antidote to apply to a few people, they'd still grow ill but at least they wouldn't die.

(Iryō Ninjutsu: Doku Ekiso) Medical Technique: Poison Extraction Jutsu x2
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: An advanced medical jutsu used when the user cannot make enough antidote to cope with a poison. This is used to extract a great deal of the poison from a body, and then the antidote can be administered. The user will need a medium (his own chakra or a chakra receptive medium compatible with the human body, like water) which he will insert into the patients body, using his chakra to gather the poison directly from the tissues, merging it with the medium to then remove and discard. The technique can only remove a limited amount of poison and will not negate any ongoing effects as it cannot remove poison already being metabolized/in effect. Because of this, the medical ninja will still need to administer an antidote and will need to use the technique twice to remove all of the poison from the patient.
Note: can only be used twice, each use delaying the effects of the poison for 2 turns.

"Follow me."

She runs out of the alley and into the street, noticing a large gust of wind completely blow the rest of the rain away she curses to herself, the time cutting short before the Black Ones flood the city to "aid" their citizens. Lena ran through the city with this woman and child following closely behind her. Using her cards as a protective almost auto-defence they would be shot and cut down any undead in her path. Another normal rain washed over the city, Lena assumed another powerful shinobi resided in the city which could've been a problem for her later on.

The zombies they came across were getting less and less, she easily sliced through them with her tri-bladed fists and then when she had a moment where it was clear she hopped up on the building's roof telling the mother to wait a moment. She noticed a few Shinobi traversing across the buildings coming from the south whilst attacking what she assumed was Zombies in the streets, Lena deducted that most of the survivors had been directed south of the city whilst the shinobi dealt with the oncoming threat. Lena joined the mother back on the street and told her the information.

Then she was found. Three Hangurian black ones surrounded Lena and the Mother, she cursed and looked at each one of them.

"You!!" One spluttered.

Lena told the mother to go with her child to the south of the city. Lena readied her clawed hands, the Black Ones let the civilians go as their target was now this threaded monster. Two of them charged her, weapons in hand she backed up and faced them both, deflecting with her claws - sparks grinding against the claws. Lena then caught a blade between hers and gritted her teeth as she attempted to disarm the Black One, twisting her wrist applying pressure to her knuckles, but using the leverage of the blade between hers to snap it out of his hands and then thrust with her free left arm into his neck. She pulled her fist out, a large splash of blood covering the left side of her face and shoulder. Lena then gets blasted with a torrent of water into a wall, she stands up slowly - wet and ready to fight again.

The Black One with holes in his neck was bleeding everywhere, his hands on his neck as he choked and began to die. The other two watched in horror as they couldn't do anything for their ally, one went over to try and help him but he just thrashed and collapsed, making a horrible gargling noise until it stopped. There was a moment of silence. The Black One who tried to help cursed and looked in bloody anger at Lena, he stood up - ready to clash with her again.

Until...

The Black One rose and bit his "ally" in the thigh, he screamed in pain and just watched as he was being consumed in too much shock to do anything. Lena threw a red card at the Zombie's head, killing it before it come completely murder his once friend. The Black One sobbed as his leg was rendered an infected mess, the card beside him began to glow and he looked up at Lena with tears in his eyes.

She Waved.

He Exploded.

This left her with one Black One, however she was now worried for the other civilians - she would have to administer them with Antidote before they dropped dead and turned into zombies themselves. Lena had to take out this water user first however...

( Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Salazzle ) - Summoning Technique: Salazzle
Type: Summoning
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: Salazzle is a dark grey Fire salamander resembling a bipedal salamander. She has a thin dark grey body with a purple underside. Her head is dark grey with purple eyes and slit pupils reducing the amount of light that can enter into the eyes. There are several tooth-like protrusions on the lower jaw being vestigial teeth that can be released after biting something leaving sharp arrow like teeth behind. Salazzle's body has three pink markings, one on the chest, and the other two on the abdomen. Salazzle has a long, dark grey tail with a pink underside and two protrusions come out from the tail's base which can be used like hypodermic needles should a tail strike land allowing her to inject poison directly into an opponent's blood stream. She has hands and feet with five digits each similar to summons like Ma and Pa toad having a somewhat bipedal stance however when she moves she returns to all fours to move and run. She is roughly a meter long small enough to stand on a shoulder or cling to the body thus making travel easier.

She can move at twice the base speed of a Sage rank bio. Salazzle can use poison techniques releasing the poison from her vestigial fangs molding it with poison chakra and expelling it from the mouth allowing her to use any poison technique the user knows up to S rank. Or she can release poison techniques from her tail protuberances shooting the techniques outward or over her head. Once every three turns, passively she is able to concentrate more chakra and poison into a technique increasing the chakra found inside of the technique by ten and increasing the amount of Samandarin forced into it increasing the amount of poison used for the technique. This has the effect of increasing the damage by twenty and can up the rank of the technique as well (both apply to only A-ranks and below) however, it can grant S ranks ten additional damage. This ability has a three-turn cooldown and works for a single poison technique that she herself uses. She does this by producing her own toxin, Samandarin and forcing it into a standard poison technique compounding it's power and symptoms with the Samandarin. This happens in the same timeframe as the technique it is being used for.

Her poison is Samandarin a toxic substance produced by most Fire salamanders. It's effects are over-excitation of the muscles, restlessness, hypertension, rapid breathing, dilated pupils, muscle convulsions, respiratory paralysis, and eventually the poisoned person will faint. Once poisoned by this substance the first symptom is muscle convulsions and over-excitation of the muscles as well as restlessness causing the poisoned individual to twitch and stutter this happens the turn after the poison touched the skin. After two turns the lungs begin to shut down causing labored breathing causing the opponent to need to gasp taking deep breathes to merely obtain enough oxygen to breath as well as hypertension and rapid breathing. Finally after six turns of being poisoned the organs begin to shut down causing the poisoned individual to pass out, for the WSE this causes the individual's health to drop to zero. She is able to communicate with her summoner either verbally or mentally.
Note: Can only be summoned once lasting four turns
Salazzle followed Lena closely using the cloak of gaseous poison to glide down using all of the strength in her little body to carry the two downward until they landed. She continued by crafting two hand-like constructs on either side of her abdomen in front of the wings on her back.
These hands would whip out from her position grasping for any undead that Lena didn't see using the fingers to crush them under a crushing weight or she would use them to slap and pull against the undead literally tearing them apart. It felt wrong to work in direct contrast to what Sado had done, being his personal summon and all, but she believed he respected her enough to allow her this. During the events Salazzle remained near Lena providing her the cover she needed to create an antidote, this meant that while Lena was busy dealing with the infected woman and her child Salazzle was tearing through undead to keep them at bay.
She knew little about Sado's personal poison, only that it was stronger than any salamander poison she had ever seen. It was even stronger than her own which was why she respected him so much. The main bullet points she explained was that it caused fear, hallucinations, a feeling of suffocation and then eventually death due to muscle paralysis.

(Dokuton: Kōgo no Yogore) - Poison Ninjutsu: Colloquial Cloak of Contamination
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 40 ( +10 per turn to maintain ) ( +20 to rebuild )
Damage: 80
Description: The user begins by releasing poison chakra from their skin materialising it into a shroud of dense liquid or gas cloaking their body in the substance creating a form of pseudo-clothing from pure poison. This allows for a rather decent defence against things that form of poison is strong to for example a liquid shroud will allow for the defence of even Forbidden rank fire release as the liquid vaporizes into it's gaseous state while also being able to take on two S rank fire techniques. Alternatively if a gaseous shroud is created it can defend from even Forbidden rank lightning or take on two S rank lightning techniques. Anything that form of poison is neutral to plays on equal terms with the cloak obviously. Additionally by performing a hand seal and spending a move slot by releasing more poison into the cloak it can be rebuilt and strengthened temporarily allowing it to survive through damage that would normally destroy it. However this can only be done once per usage.
The cloak can additionally be used to attack an opponent by using it as an S rank construct with it being able to travel up to mid range from them in any direction creating tentacles and hands that whip out and strike at their opponents and just requires the user to manipulate the cloak to attack. It can be done passively upon creation but if used after the turn of creation it will cost a move slot. The gaseous form is able to grant flight, and create wings on the back allowing the user to fly at their base running speed the wings themselves are more cosmetic than anything else as the gaseous cloak is what allows the flight. This is because it has enough substance to pick up and move the user and by being manipulated it can carry the user throughout a battlefield allowing them to hover or glide. The basic poison itself only has the effects of Med Toxin, where the really useful part comes in is when the user uses their own custom poison to create the cloak imparting upon it those effects. The cloak can support A rank and below poison techniques allowing it to be used as a source for things such as Poison Creation or other similar poison techniques.
Note:
Can be used twice per battle lasting three turns per use
Can only be used to attack as an S rank construct once per turn and costs a moveslot after the turn of creation
Twice per battle, once per turn and passively per cloak creation the user can use the gaseous cloak to avoid incoming techniques.
Salazzle watched Lena cure the few people of their poison and realized she was skilled. She then continued by watching her deal with a few of the Hangurian Black Ones until there was one remaining. Salazzle could see that Lena wanted to be out helping more people. She called out to her in a forceful tone. One that demanded respect from Lena and asked her to listen at this moment. Leave this to me. You handle your own business. I can handle this one.
Salazzle floated up in front of the remaining Hangurian Black One drawing his attention away from Lena as she seemed to tell Lena to go about her business and save people. That was what she was here for, right? To help, and to make a name for Shinramoto as a safe haven? Fighting the Hangurian Black Ones would only send mixed messages to the people. Salazzle thought Lena needed to go and to help, heal, and evacuate.
In unison to this, the man formed a single hand seal as he decided that he would take on this gnat, this small lizard. He called out to her with a callous and disrespectful tone referring to her lizard-like appearance.

(Suiton: Suidanha) Water Release: Severing Wave
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: After doing the Tiger hand seal, the user will quickly exhale a very thin stream of pressurized water that will be able to cut even rock. The most noteworthy feature of the technique is how fast the stream is and how sharp it can be. By moving his head, the user can alter the jet's cutting path, creating longer cuts or affecting bigger targets.
Oi, what can a lil' lady lizard like you do against the might of the Freehold!?

After speaking he exhaled a sharp jet of water toward Salazzle. Ooooooooweeeee that was it. A fuckin' lizard!? Calling Salazzle a lizard was like calling all humans, monkeys. SHE WASN'T A FUCKIN LIZARD!~ She thought with a forceful tone her own conscience cutting through her mind. She opened her mouth wide as she yelled outward toward the man.
While screeching outward a violent pulse of liquid rushed forward from her teeth as if she were spitting poison directly toward the man while in unison berating him with insults.
The poison rocketed forward toward the incoming stream of water while Salazzle did two things in unison. Without a second movement, she coursed an additional amount of poison into the technique as the poison sloshed and rippled increasing in size and power as she took hold of it and converted its state.
What rushed outward as a liquid immediately switched states to a solid as the horizontal column of liquid poison became a solid with spiked portions blasting through the water technique causing it to skew off course as the spiked pillar stabbed deep into the chest of the Hangurian Black One. This would kill him as he was torn asunder for having the gall to call her a lizard to her face. However, Salazzle wanted to relish this moment, so she took care in directing the technique so it would strike non-lethally at first. He wouldn't be killed instantly. He'd suffer for what must have felt like hours to him.
Not only would the poison now have the elemental advantage it would be stronger than the water technique. She was livid, it seemed like being called a lizard was a sore spot for her and this man messed up by doing so. Her head darted back to where Lena used to be.
If Lena wasn't gone by now, out helping and healing these people she would be met with the most hard glance she probably had ever saw from Salazzle. One that yelled back "Why are you still here?"

I'M AN AMPHIBIAN YOU BIGOTED ****!

MY SPECIES IS NOoMORE CLOSELY RELATED TO LIZARDS THAN WE ARE TO MAMMALS LIKE YOU!

(Dokuton: Atsuryoku no Shita) - Poison Release: Under Pressure
Type: Defensive/Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80 + 10 = 90
Description: The poison user concentrates poison chakra below their skin pooling a fair amount of the chakra in a specific spot before releasing it from their pores. This is similar to what they would naturally do with something like (Ninpou: Dokugiri) - Ninja Art: Poison Mist but instead of releasing the created poison from the mouth they do so from the pores of the body. When released from the pores it creates an intense burst of poison gas or liquid with the ability to negate an incoming technique or to dull or even completely negate momentum from things such as taijutsu or weapon ninjutsu. It does this by creating the poison in a very pressurised way creating a forceful burst of it that can be released from any part of the body and directed outward in a direction up to mid range knocking objects, or people back up to fifteen meters. Multiple bursts can be created but obviously the more there are the less strength each singular burst has needing to be aimed collectively to be as useful as a single burst. The bursts follow the natural strengths and weaknesses of the form of poison used. This technique can be used with Med Toxin or a custom poison.

Alternatively the poison chakra can be pooled all throughout the body just below the skin to create a forceful burst from all of the pores on the body creating a pressurised gust of gaseous poison or a wave of liquid poison with similar potential but in a multi-directional manner. This burst obviously has less stopping power as it is spread throughout the body releasing a concentrated burst that can knock opponents, creatures or objects back up to five meters. This has enough force to move even large summoning creatures. This variation creates an ethereal mist of poison that completely engulfs short range around it's user and it hangs heavily in the air until blown away with similarly ranked wind.
Note:
Can be used three times per battle with a two-turn cooldown.
No Dokuton in the turn after above A-rank.
(Dokuton: Toripuru pointo) - Poison Release: Triple Point
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (+20 to poison techniques )
Description: In chemistry and physics, the triple point is the temperature and pressure at which solid, liquid, and vapor phases of a particular substance coexist in equilibrium. It is a specific case of thermodynamic phase equilibrium. By forcing more chakra than usual into a poison technique while also coating it with a dense layer of chakra and forcing it to pressurize by forcing an immense pressure on it the user is able to raise or lower the temperature and pressure of the poisonous substance in unison. This causes any poison to reach it's natural triple point thus the poison can shift quickly through the three basic states of matter gas, liquid, and solid allowing them to coexist as one creating a superfluid or a supersolid.
By then slowing down and manipulating this process in a very precise and deliberate way the user is able to immediately and in the same timeframe as another poison technique change it's state of matter or change the state of matter of an already used technique. For example they are able to turn a liquid poison technique into gas or a gas one into a liquid; meaning they are able to vaporize or condense the poison without losing any of it's strength instead gaining strength from it. Also a third state of poison can be created one that is different and new this being a solid variation. Solid poison is strong to water while being weak to lightning. This solid form isn't dust-like in nature like what can be done with Poison Creation and instead is a real solid like solid rock or earth with the potential to poison things that touch it. Changing the state of poison is done by basically forcing more poison chakra into a technique and pressurizing it thus making it naturally stronger via giving it a one-rank boost (+20 damage). This is done by pressurizing the poison with that chakra making it denser allowing it to deal more blunt damage when colliding with something. This works up to A-rank (S-rank too, but without the damage boost) allowing the user to alter many forms of poison including another technique or just ambient inert poison on the field. The user can preemptively use this on a technique at the cost of a move to allow for the change of state once in the next two turns whenever he chooses without the use of a move later as he has activated the poison's triple point where it will be in a superposition of all three states. It can happen in the same timeframe as another poison technique but it still costs a move to use.
Note: Can be used four times per battle with a two-turn cooldown.

Lena nodded at Salazzle as she took over from this Hangurian Black One, Lena traverses the side of a building and then begins to move across the rooftops. Lena is suddenly taken by surprise, the clear screaming from Salazzle erupting from the distance - an anime teardrop grows from her temple. She will try to remember to never address Salazzle as a Lizard ever again, she had respect for her new friend after all. She had made most of the way towards the southern area of the city, it was mostly quiet, however corpses began to rise again and people who fell ill started to die so she knew it was only a matter of time before the undead struck again.

Lena noticed the Mother and her child running in the direction of where they assumed people had been placed in safe zones. Though they were being quickly surrounded, they didn't know - but from Lena's higher point of view she could see the undead about to cut them off. She passed over an alley, jumping from rooftop to another Lena drops a red card below which lands in front of a zombie, it pauses and looks down before erupting into an explosion from the card. Lena then leaps across the street towards another that intersected, a group of zombies were approaching from the side and her diving into their way would be the best way to stop them. Lena lands and slides across the floor, tripping up the first undead and stopping it from attacking the mother and her daughter as they ran by from the side. Lena slides to a crouch and slashes behind her with her fist blades, cutting the undead's leg off and she rises turning back to face the rest, slicing at a couple before punching one right in the side of the head, embedding her blades into the head and into a wall. She was stuck, getting a bit carried away. Lena tries to yank her hand out as fast and tough as possible as other undead approached, she managed to but her blades broke off her fist - she had to use the other, slicing through one's skull as she circled around, she then changes her momentum and spins backwards performing a backfist and taking out the final undead of the group. Lena growls and moves back into the street, the mother had gained a lot of ground - that was until a Zombie smashed through a window and tried to reach for her; she yelped and tripped backwards almost falling over but recovering.

Lena thinks on her feet, using her other fist of blades she points her arm towards that direction; using her right arm to brace her left she launches the blades from her fist and they impale the zombie against the wall. The undead was still alive but it's arms and body was pinned, it just groaned and writhed around. The mother looked back at Lena who shouted in response.

"Take a detour!"

Lena pointed at a path away from the main one, which the mother immediately took and ran with her child till they were out of view. From the same building the zombie pinned at the window had popped out, more began to bang against other windows, but that wasn't Lena's only problem as she approached two Hangurian Black Ones ran around the corner armed with lever-action rifles, they would be pretty effective against the undead. They yelled out towards Lena, who was beginning to get closed in on by zombies as they smashed through the windows, falling out and then slowly crawling up to a stand to try and get to Lena to eat her.

The HBO took aim at Lena and she was ready to fight, he fired the bullet and she grabbed the closest undead she could and pulled it in front of her. The bullet hit the Zombie's head and travelled through it's skull, parting it's skin and brain matter with ease, it would pass through but again Lena was prepared for this, with her free hand she had a Metal Card angled to intercept the bullet which hits the card. A loud ding and sparks fly as the bullet is deflected at an angle and strikes another undead in the head that was approaching from the building - it's corpse collapsing. Lena let go of the undead human shield and ran at the building, using the head of an undead who was trying to climb a window she made contact with it's skin and absorbed chakra from it's body - it was a lucky guess that they'd be powered by something similar or at least still retain that system in their body even after death, after absorbing the chakra the zombie slumps down dead, devoid of it's fuel. Lena runs up the side of the building whilst being shot at, propelling herself from it she performs a spin and holds out her hand, expelling a large stream of blue frames from her Dark Mark towards the Hangurian Black Ones and setting them alight as they tried to shoot her - luckily for her, the erratic movement was enough for them to keep missing and because of their concentration on shooting her at range it gave them no time to counter the incoming blue flames, both were engulfed and screamed as they died from their wounds. Lena landed on the ground, undead were trying to scramble up after falling out of the windows, but she just left them to find the survivors of the city.

Note: Must have absorbed enemy techniques before using

Again going back towards the rooftops to gain more ground quicker, she finally reached the area the survivors had been put in to be safe from the onslaught. Or so they thought, she noticed the multiple undead approaching, must've been drawn to the scent or noise. The only ones left to guard them whilst the stronger shinobi or black ones had been sent to where the sources were worse. They were scared, with their spears and bows they could only cut down a couple of undead at a time, they also had to deal with the ones already turning up in their ranks because of people dying from the poison. Lena leapt from her rooftop and manipulated the wind, using it to pull herself at full speed and she punched the ground, the earth breaking and erupting, undead around her thrown into the air and their legs destroyed as she makes her grand entrance. She slowly rises from the ground pulled out multiple cards, having them float around her Lena begins to thrown them at undead so that they slowed their approach. She turned with her back to the survivors and faces the horde that made it's way toward her. She had cut down enough to give herself some time and ran towards the guards.

(Fūton Hijitsu : Shinkū shōmetsu) - Wind Release Secret Technique : Vacuum Annihilation
Type: Offensive/Supplementary

Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description:
This is a Close Combat Technique which uses the ability to draw things using Wind but on a more powerful scale. This technique is used on the user will manipulate the wind to rapidly pull either themselves within Short from Mid range in a linear direction. When this technique is used to pull the user it only has an effective range of 10 meters. The user will use the wind to pull them forward and get into close range so they will crash into a target, can be used to rapidly pull them to the floor whilst in the air and cause a crater in the area when punched, causing the ground to buckle and any opponents to fall over with range. When used to rush forward to directly punch a target, it will cause major damage, enough to shatter bones.

You must be registered for see images

Pulling in short range only takes a second, pulling to mid takes significantly longer.
- Cannot be used multiple times in the same turn
- Has two turn cool down
- Can only be taught by LonelyAssassin

Of course they didn't trust her, seeing Lena as an enemy she grabbed the shaft of the spear and pressed the blade against her own neck. With gritted teeth and fierce, stern voice she made sure that the soldier knew her true intentions.

"I've come to protect these people, and even you, if you realise the true enemy when you see it. Get whatever medical specialists you have here to administer this and remove the poison. Ill give you a way out. Or kill me and become one of them."

The soldier nodded and he let go of his spear, holding out his hand for the antidote. Lena gave him all of it and took the spear into her hands. The man ran off, it made sense they'd leave medical shinobi or medical people here in general. Now that they had access to the antidote, they could administer and create it for everyone - stopping death from occurring and keeping the undead from biting them literally in the ass. Lena quickly flicks her head back watching as the undead get closer, she clicks at the archers and then throws her spear at the horde skewering two with one throw through the head - acting like a command for them to do the same, which they did to the best of their ability.

She would now focus on creating an escape route. Lena forms a glyph of fire chakra in her hand and then throws it like a shuriken, it spins at the wall and then hits it, the glyph printing on the wall with ash before erupting as a large powerful explosion, strong enough to blow a hole straight through the wall.

"Everyone Leave! Head towards Shinramoto, it's Safe and I will protect you!!"

The civilians poured into the hole and began to run from the city, it was done for them now - it was they best way to survive and since no one else was giving suggestions this was the best they had. They poured onto the grasslands and moved away. Lena addressed the guards next.

(Shōkeimoji-Katon : Neko no Ketsui) - Heiroglyphic-Fire Release : Cat's Determination (S-Rank)
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: B - S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20 - 40
Damage Points: 40 - 80
Description:
The user creates a Circular Red Glyph using their Fire Chakra on the battlefield; the pattern of the glyph is custom as long as it is circular and has the Kanji for "Kokoro 心" inside it. When created it flashes into view almost like an explosion except this is cosmetic. The Glyph can be created horizontally and vertically on the field and then manipulated to move in a certain direction, it can also be created parallel to the user's palm and thrown like a shuriken acting like a very compressed fire techniques, thin and hot which will cut through matter like a hot knife through butter.

Glyphs can be created in front of a Wind Technique and combined with it, creating the infamous fire and wind combos; For example if combined with the Wind Glyph Cat's Dance it can be thrown through the Fire glyph creating a flaming wind glyph. Though this can be combined with other elements; a glyph can be placed on an earth technique and it can create a flaming golem with almost a molten like skin for example (Can be placed on tools to make them extremely hot and burn/cut through things more easily, the glyph is burned into the metal).

Glyphs can be burned onto a surface leaving an ash residue, on the command of the user it will explode and can be used to propel things along or send something flying; the explosion is controlled; For example if planted on the side of some earth or an earth technique it can suddenly speed it up and be shot in a different direction - can be planted on the soles of ones shoes (Fire wouldn't burn through) the ash residue would explode and send the user flying. Basically creating a redirection for solid creations. Trip mines can be created, when the ash is come into close contact it will ignite and explode in a fiery malestrom depending on the size of the glyph + 2 meters.

- S-Rank can only be used Twice with a three turn cooldown and no Fire Techniques of A-rank or higher in the same turn.
- A-Rank version can only be used four times with a two turn cooldown
- Only One Glyph can be created with one use of this
- Glyphs created last four turns on the field
- Must be Taught by LonelyAssassin
-The glyph can only be created/materialized within short-range of the user unless it's made from the ground

"Escort them there, I will join you shortly."

"Watch Out!"

Lena lets loose a peircing painful scream as a Zombie bit the section her neck joins her shoulder and another bites the side of her torso. Another grips her arm and bites into her there, the undead continues to pile on her from behind and bite into her body, leg until she can't help but be overpowered by the weight. She looks at the militia, screaming at them.

"FUCKING GOOOO!"

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!"

The soldiers run through the hole, Lena watches them leave, at least they could run now. She screams again as Zombies try to tear her flesh from her body to get to the rest of her body - however once they reach threads the undead begin to back off, disgusted that they cannot eat from this woman who was just as undead as they were. From her back Lena erupts a barrage of wind needles that grow and carry all the zombies off her and away as she screams, growing into massive tornadoes the wind leaves a large trail in the city as it even destroys buildings - her power being put into this to the highest degree. She rises from the ground slowly, breathing heavily as her dark threads were hanging from the bite marks scattered over her body.

(Futon : Ten no hejji) - Wind Release : Celestial Hedgehog
Type: Defensive/Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description:
The User Surges Wind Chakra all through their body, The user can then channel this wind chakra into their back and create hundreds of wind needles which can pierce into targets and push them back slightly. After they have focused the wind chakra throughout their body they can choose to jump and curl into a ball thus shooting off condensed, pressurised wind needles in various directions, or can aim their back in a direction of there choice, aiming the needles in that particular direction.

The wind needles expands from their back as a defensive mechanism similar to that of a hedgehog and can cause quite severe cuts, however as the needles travel and reach Mid-range they begin to loose pressure thus expanding and becoming spirals of wind and then when they reach Long-Range they become huge tornadoes that travel horizontally in the sky.

- Can only be taught by Kirikoe
- Can only be used 3 times
- No s-rank wind on the same turn

Lena takes control of her threads, from the tears in her flesh she releases streams of dark threads, multiple of them which intercept a zombie each, taking a hold of their body and begin swinging them around violently, like threaded tentacles she uses them to bat down and smash into other undead. As she did so she walked up the pile of rubble at the wall and then threw the maimed & crushed corpses into the horde as they approached.

"**** all of you."

Lena guarded the hole and began throwing barrages of cards, she would wait for Salazzle to regroup with her and would not leave without the Salamander.

(Jiongu: Kuro Ito) - Earth Grudge Fear: Dark Threads (B-Rank)
Rank: C-S Rank
Type: Attack/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15-40
Damage Points: 30-80
Description: The basic technique of Kakuzu's unique Kinjutsu Earth Grudge Fear it allows the user to manipulate the threads that compose his body freely with each use. The user can not only alter his own body form and structure but also use the threads to attack or defend from incoming techniques. As Kakuzu's skin is still stitched to keep his humanoid form when not used, he can take advantage of this technique to propel his hands or limbs at great distances and grab a target. Its also this technique that allows Kakuzu to detach his masks from his own body to form the "animals" which he uses in combat.
Note: Can only be used by Kakuzu

Salazzle had made quick work on the HBO leaving him skewered upon a large column of solid poison. She flew around the area trying to find Lena until she noticed a large group evacuating.
She would glide down hovering next to Lena and would begin following her. She seemed ready to leave knowing her cloak would die off soon revoking her ability to fly. She could use it a second time but that felt like it might be a waste if they were retreating.
Salazzle wanted to return to Sado and explain everything. She had helped Lena appear like the hero and that would make Shinramoto seem like a safe haven. That's what he wanted right? That's what he told Lena to do and to be right before tearing through the farmlands. She was sure that was what he wanted it was something he had calculated? He wasn't just flying by the seat of his pants. Was he?
She left Lena take the lead and followed holding off any remaining undead. She kept the area clear allowing for a retreat and evacuation. She didn't think it was smart to bring the HBOs but ultimately the lands were protected by Lena not Salazzle or Sado.
However she did think Sado wouldn't like this. Not the saving of the helpless, but bringing in the enemy. Salazzle wanted to find and return to Sado soon. She thought he would see it as emotional instead of tactical.

Lena saw Salazzle approach her and smiled to see that she was okay, she threw a couple more cards that hit their targets perfectly before going through the tunnel, noticing Salazzle taking down a few undead when they approached. Lena saw the civilians in the distance, moving around Degarashi to make their way north instead of south. She traversed her way down the rocky terrain away from the wall and felt the soft grass beneath her soles.

Lena turns back and waited for her amphibian companion. As Salazzle comes through the hole after her Lena performs a string of handseals; Tiger → Hare → Boar → Dog and manipulates the earth creating a wall to rise up in front of the the hole from where she was standing, the earth wall grinds against the much larger Degarashi Port wall and covers over the hole stopping anything from getting through. Anything undead anyway.

(Doton: Doryuheki) - Earth Release: Earth Style Wall Jutsu
Type: Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will first perform the Tiger → Hare → Boar → Dog and then creates a solid wall of earth as a form of defense. Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water. Hizuren Sarutobi spits mud from his mouth to perform the jutsu whilst Kakashi creates a wall composed of bulldog sculptures to box-in Pain.

The threaded woman stretches out her arm, allowing Salazzle to walk upon her again, it'd give her a breather from using those wings all the time. Time to rest and preserve their chakra. Lena made her way towards the large group of evacuees, they were quite a way and as they approach Lena decided to get some soft-hearted words in before becoming stern in the audience of these people;

"I know we basically did the opposite of hurting these lands, but I think it was a decent decision... thanks for supporting me; even though you really didn't have to."

Lena actually felt relieved t finally be able to open up to people that wasn't the family she loved in Shinramoto. She actually had friends now, it gave her a shot of youth and new perspective on things, she felt as though she was a teenager, hangin' out with her mates and getting emotional over things with them. To a bit more of an extreme though, she did just come back from a horrifying warzone with the undead. They eventually came up to the back of the group, the guard that had sacrificed his spear to give out antidote was there with another couple, he smiled at Lena - there was no bad blood between them, the other two didn't address her however which she understood there was still the events that had just unfolded swirling in her mind. She wanted to try and get to the front, but the line of people was massive, much bigger than what she had registered before and didn't realise how many people she was actually escorting until now.

"Holy Shit."

Shinramoto had a lot of losses, but if these people, including the bandits were all pooling up at Mori then there was going to be no space at all. Songbird swooped down, this prompted a lot of people to be scared suddenly at this massive bird made of shell, it's open dead eyes, almost like it was mechanical. Lena climbs upon the bird and they take off back into the air, she almost laughed a little, from their reactions. It almost prompted them to walk faster. She addressed Salazzle again as they left the landmark.

"There are way too many people for me to take in."

Salazzle waited for Lena to finish speaking then replied to everything.

I told you, we're friends and allies. It means we help each other even if it goes against our own better judgement. You needed help and that was all I saw Lena. I didn't see the cost or the effort I saw a friend in need so stop feeling like I did anything more than you'd do for me. As for the people. Maybe its time to expand. I hear Jinshui is looking for allies.

Salazzle would subtly wink at Lena as they left the area.

Ryuu made his way into the esteemed city, surprised at the evidence of some kind of turmoil here. What had happened? With his Byakugan, he could spot his friend just a few yards away. On his way to him, Ryuu heard some soldiers talking to each other about the events that were happening in the city. Seemed like some zombies had come here too... Ryuu really had to find out where they came from. Listening further, he also made out that there were some strange headless warriors roaming the lands. Stopping in front of a sign located on a pole, Ryuu even read the locations of these warriors. Perhaps the best thing to do then would be to confront one of them, and try to figure out how all these events came to be. Yes, that's what he would do, he decided.

Astra appeared to be in some kind of building, in a room with someone. It seemed there were some people around, and they didn't look quite friendly. Since he was not bothered dealing with them, the boy performed the Tiger hand seal, controlling the light around him to make himself invisible. He then swiftly sneaked into the building, easily going by past soldiers. On his way, he overheard some soldiers talking about 'Kaizen', seemingly in a good way. Astra was awesome, making their clan name be seen in a positive light in such a short amount of time! Finally he reached the room that Astra was in, stopping outside the door. He could hear their voices talking.

(Meisaigakure no Jutsu) - Hiding with Camouflage Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30 (-10 per turn active)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user after performing the Tiger hand seal to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. However, the usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills. The Second Tsuchikage, Mū's mastery of this technique helped earn him the moniker "Non-Person" seemingly having neither form nor chakra while the technique was active. Thus, he could not be sensed through traditional means.
Note: Technique lasts a total of 3 turns
Ryuu had no idea who the person was, so he wasn't just going to barge in. Standing outside the door, Ryuu politely knocked, hoping that his friend would come out to see him. He had to tell him where he was going.

Akane sat near HBO's desk poring through records he generously provided. The assignment center apparently doubled as an information booth for those unfamiliar with the Shogunate. He and other Black Ones complied numerous accounts of the day's events from sources all around Degarashan. It read like a report, plainly detailing events that would give most people nightmares. Their stoic attitude toward the chaotic situation made sense. They couldn't make rational decisions if they let grief or stress get the better of them. Akane became invested in the city and its citizens whether she had a connection to them or not. That was why she and HBO began to argue about how best to proceed. They both stood over a simple map of the port city and the surrounding area. It showed where most of the remaining zombies were as well as where Black Ones were being allocated. Shogunate HQ was handling the attack much easier than everyone else thanks to their superior resources which HBO insisted were too precious to utilize outside HQ.

Their discussion was interrupted by a knock on the door. Already aware of Ryuu's presence thanks to her detection barrier, she darted to the door and opened it up. She pretended not to notice him as she walked out and closed the door behind her as if to search for whoever knocked. When she knew the coast was clear she picked him up and squeezed him like a teddy bear. After being dumped into such a depressing situation seeing Ryuu again was just what she needed. After quietly swinging him about, she put him down and signed so nobody could overhear.

"That's better. In case you're wondering, i had nothing to do with this shoddy zombie infestation going around. Not my style. I'm actually trying to keep them out of the city, for an adequate price of course. If we're lucky we can earn a special place in Ashikaga's heart. So, what brings you to this particular hellhole? Did you miss me that badly?"

If Ryuu was capable of doing so, he would have laughed at his friend's act of pretending to look for someone. He supposed it would be better to show himself for a bit for communication purposes. A bit dizzy from being swung around, the boy almost fell over as he removed the invisibility effect, catching himself in the process. As she asked him if he missed her, Ryuu only made an exaggerating sad face, pretending to have missed her so much, but then smiled cheekily to reveal that he was okay. Although, it had been weird to be away from his clan mates.

I know you're not behind this. There's something suspicious going on around this place. I was in the next village till just a while ago, and yesterday, there was a weird zombie attack there too. I recognised one of my dead clan mates from the Kyubi attack, and realised that perhaps something sinister has happened in my birth area. Until I find out what is going on, I can't live in peace. I also heard of these headless warriors; maybe I could get some information out of them. But don't worry, I'll be back in a few days. It's just that, I can't get the memory of my former friend out of my head...

And good to see you making ties with this land. After all, they are very close to our residence. Could work in our benefit one day.

Aww. After encountering a fragment of someone he'd lost Ryuu still had a sense of humor to him, even while setting out to learn why the dead have risen. Akane knew the young Hyuuga could keep himself safe but she still wanted to help him in some way.

"Well well, aren't you determined? In that case i have something to make your journey a little easier..."

Akane held up one of her hands and removed the glove from it before retracting her arm into the sleeve of her hazmat suit. It appeared again holding a small scroll.

"This should help in case we need to know where the other is. You know how to use one of these scrolls. There's a note attached to it with the required key. A cell phone could work too but i hardly trust those things."

She then partly unraveled the scroll, waving it theatrically in front of her before a pair of shoes suddenly appeared from her other hand. She presented both of them to Ryuu with a grin that soon faded when she remembered Ryuu's Byakugan made her sleight of hand trick pointless.

"...there you go. Remember this beauty? Astra's stuck playing janitor for the Shogunate so they won't be going too far. You can make better use of this."

The shoe’s bonus to travel time cannot stack with other items equipped on the user’s person that also reduce travel time in the Ninja World; meaning two pairs of shoes, or an item like it, would not additively reduce the user’s travel time. However, the bonus from the shoes can be stacked with bonuses granted to specific landmarks, like a road or bridge. This bonus can also be stacked with consumable items, like the Runner’s Liquid Courage, to further reduce travel time.

Description:
The user will create 2 or more scrolls with an embedded sealing formula that connects them all together. As such, anything written in one scroll will appear written in all the connected scrolls. A very useful communication technique, it can connect scrolls regardless of the distance between them. To activate the scroll, the user needs to perform a key of hand seals that will be unique for each creation and only known to those the user wishes, preventing the use of the scrolls by those the user doesn't allow.

Ryuu peered curiously at the scroll, nodding at his friend's instructions. She was smart, giving him this to use. Given that he was not very strong and could end up in trouble, it would be useful to alert her should anything happen. The Star then waved the scroll around, as if she was trying to do some magic trick, and the Hyūga smiled gleefully as the object of secrecy was presented. Of course he could see what she was doing in the background! She seemed to realise it too, because her grin seemed to disappear, whilst Ryuu's only got bigger. He animatedly put the shoes on then and started jogging on the spot to make her smile again.

Thanks! I can run really fast with these now, see? Anyways, catch you later!

Still doing his funny jog, Ryuu then waved at his friend, before turning around and running off for real this time. Since he was so excited now, he totally forgot to put his invisibility effect back on, turning heads in the corridors as he whizzed past people. Not that it mattered anyways, for he was too fast now for them to get a proper glimpse of him. As he left, he hoped Astra would not get too bored in this place. It did look kind of dull to him...

A roaring noise filled Kogami’s ears as an invisible force whisked him into the air. His vision blurred and he found himself watching feathery streaks of white drift through a pale blue sky. Was he attacked? Why? He remembered approaching the port, eager to study the unusual sludge that plagued it, ignoring the shouts from ahead. Guess they were for him. Feeling gravity taking hold, Kogami calmly braced for impact.

He fell with a thud, landing square on his back near a sparse crowd of people. No one tried to help him; they were too busy bracing themselves against the powerful wind currents. One portly individual couldn’t bear it and toppled over, his crutches clattering across the ground. Wracked with pain, he tenderly clutched his bandaged leg, cursing through clenched teeth.

*ssshink!*

A metal folding fan slid closed. It was nearly as long as the man holding it and emblazoned with the Shogunate crest.

“That was a little excessive don’t you think?” said Kogami, lending the injured man his shoulder. “It's not like i was going to take a swim.”

“You’d be surprised,” the sentry said dryly. “Since reading is apparently beyond you, i’ll spell it out.” He pointed to a sign with his fan. “Only sanctioned individuals and Black Ones allowed beyond this point. All others must request an escort from a Shogunate officer. Violators may be met with lethal...”

Kogami’s attention drifted back to the port. Workers and soldiers unloaded cargo from ships locked in place by the black goo, crossing over walkways and bridges made of earth and rope. A number of well-dressed traders and merchants were with them, designating their vessels and discussing shipping details. Military ships demolished in the attack were salvaged for parts and weaponry. Distant ships had soldiers like the sentry glide to them on their giant fans. The large scrolls on their backs probably meant they were sealing the cargo for transport.

Kogami was currently incognito, assuming the guise of the average local merchant. If he’d revealed himself as a member of Kaizen he might have gotten into the port with no issue. However he found it best to have no one recognize him for the time being.

Murmurs arose from the concerned crowd.

“...waiting for hours...” “...crew is missing...” “... taking our supplies...?” “...need to go back...”

There was a loud bang as the end of the sentry’s fan struck the floor and made several people flinch. He rested his hands on top of it, surveying the crowd with a frown. He clearly did not want to be there.

“There’s an order to things around here. Learn to follow the rules and there will be no problems.”

As the crowd dispersed, Kogami smiled at the big man who had collected his crutches and began hobbling back to the city.
“No hard feelings right? How about a drink on me? You look like you need it.”

“I better take you up on that." he laughed, still hurting but trying to hide it. "Come on, i know a good spot.”

Astra was nearly finished with the preparations. They were busy setting up equipment and making sure the right people attended their meeting. They were sure their performance would be recived well and yet an indescribable feeling tugged at them. Star-5 left the other four to head back to Kurikita and retrieve something he felt they needed. They weren't superstitious. Not in the least. The rest could make due with him for little while.

This post marks the beginning of my mission involving the following storyboard elements:
-Negotiate for or speak on behalf of your clan (2)
-Convince a neutral party to fight with you (2)

Summary: Astra holds a televised press conference for their clan, in a bid to earn the downtrodden city's trust as they inform them of their claim to the land. However, they could not prepare for everything.

~The following is a transcript of Kaizen’s Q&A in Degarashan~

*a handsome man in a loose suit enters the stage and stands behind the podium. he taps the microphone a few times before addressing a crowd of around 100 people*

Kogami: Hello everyone! Welcome! Take a seat wherever you like. If you’d rather stand, do so at the back so everyone can see. […] Yes, you too, line-of-extraordinary-tall-gentlemen. The concert’s at 2, it’s 10 now. […] I’m sorry if the chairs are uncomfortable, we just made due with what we got. Ok, everyone settled in? Alright. Before we start i want to thank all you for people for joining us on this beautiful day just outside the famous Degarashi port. I have some extra love for the journalists coming all the way from (Blank), (Blank), and (Blank), and also our friends from all over the Tea Peninsula.

*he animatedly points and waves at a few people seated near the front of the assembly*

Kogami: Hey. Hi. Yeah, thanks for coming. Let’s see...ba-bah-ba-bah...thanks, introductions, yes! My name is Kogami. I’m one of the speakers representing Kaizen, the Clan that has been steadily gaining support in the Tea Peninsula for some time. So today, after the Shogunate’s departure, we are announcing our claim the Degrashan and its prestigious port.

*there is excited murmuring throughout the crowd until Kogami gestures at them to quiet down*

Kogami: Shh~ I know some of you have concerns about what this means for your future and the future of your city. Hold onto them. We’ll be accepting questions in just a second. Just line up in front of the mic if you have something to say.

*as people are lining up, Kogami stands to the side and another more serious man takes his place, wearing glasses and a well kempt black suit. The first question comes from a distinguished middle-aged man*

Distinguished Man*: I couldn't help but notice that this conference is taking place in front of the same Stronghold from which Shogun Takauji Ashikaga and his Black Ones ruled over the city with an iron fist. Now that he has fled the peninsula entirely, will Kaizen be governing Degarashan? And if so, can they do better than the Shogunate or any of the strong men and women who made the port city what it was long before him?

Ginoza: Excellent question, sir. I wouldn’t be surprised if, after living and working under the boot of such a tyrant as Ashikaga, that one would be hesitant to allow another group to assume control. After all, when the chips were down and you needed a leader to rely on, he turned his back on you, left you to pick up the pieces on your own. And do you know why?

*loud, angry shouts erupt from the crowd at the same time. Ginoza smirks.*

Ginoza: That’s right! He didn’t care about you! Not really. There was only one thing on that man’s mind: Reestablishing the Freehold, his “birthright”. ... Our clan will not treat you like the Shogunate has. We will not stand above you, but by your side. We will not hold you at arm’s length, clutching you by the throat while turning a blind eye your suffering. Rather, we will hold you close, supporting you when you need us. So, to answer your question, no, Kaizen won’t be governing Degarashan. That isn’t in our expertise. Instead most administrative duties will left to those capable people who have led this land before Shogunate rule. We only want our clan to flourish alongside this city and achieve more than it ever has.

*Ginoza steps away from the podium and young woman with short brown hair, large eyes, and equally professional attire takes his place. The next question comes from a fairly well-dressed woman smoking a cigarette. She appears to be very agitated*

Resentful Woman: What does Kaizen plan to do about-!

Akane: Please don’t shout into the microphone. I know Ginoza just did that but i want to be able to hear your question clearly.

*the woman takes a long drag on her cigarette and blows a stream of smoke out the side of her mouth before repeating herself*

Resentful Woman: What does Kaizen plan to do about all the problems caused by the attack on Degarashan back during Conqueror's End? I work at the port and my business is failing because most of my best employees just went crazy and dropped dead or got eaten one day. Most of our customers overseas don’t trust us anymore because they think the city’s too unstable. I can’t blame them! I walk around looking over my shoulder, praying i don’t run into some bandits trying to steal what little money i have left to buy food - that’s REALLY expensive now - and keep my business afloat. Fixing these problems would take a lot of money and resources to fix and i want to know if your clan can do anything about it. If we get attacked like that again, we’ll be finished.

Akane: Thanks for your question, Lillian. We’re already aware of the many problems plaguing Degarashan like the shortage of food, security, and exports just to name a few. Our clan has grown during our time here on the Tea Peninsula and we’ve made many friends who won’t hesitate to help in the city’s time of need.

*Akane turns and motions to a row of people seated on stage behind the podium, some of which brighten at the recognition they were getting*

Akane: We have workers from Kurikita with a wealth of sailing and construction expertise, farmers from nearby Wonju and Hashiwara who can supply a steady stream of fresh food at a reasonable price, and us, Kaizen, to bolster the city’s security. We are particularly good at investigation, which is useful for finding the true source of a problem and effectively dealing with it. You have Ashikaga to blame for “The Razing of Degarashan” as people have been calling it, being more concerned with making slaves than allies. Though i wouldn’t say the outcome was all bad. The Shogunate is longer here but you still are, all of you, living and working together despite all of your hardships, like you’ve done several times before. We admire that tenacity, and hope everyone can accept our clan regardless of what’s happened in the past.

*as Akane turns to switch places with another representative, a masked person stands and hurls a number of explosive kunai toward the stage while shouting*

Masked Man: We won’t fall for your lies you Freehold lackey!

*standing close by, Kogami intercepts all of the kunai, containing the blast of the explosives in his hands which appear uninjured. He then pulls out black, technologically advanced firearm and aims it at the masked man who fled into the scattering crowd. Kogami appears irate*

Kogami?: Stinkin’ rat! No one crosses me and scurries away!

*the gun in his hand swivels and shifts as it glows brightly, gathering energy*

Akane: GET AWAY!!!

*before Akane could stop him, a blast is launched into the crowd and everyone around is bathed in a neon light*

~Mission End~

Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: N/A (-5 per turn) (20 for NLP, +10 for LE & S, 40 for DD)
Damage: N/A
Description: The Dominator is a firearm that is linked to the holder’s chakra system, functioning as an extension of their body. Small indicators on the weapon’s black surface glow aqua when held by an authorized user. The Dominator features four different modes that can be switched at will:

Non-Lethal Paralyzer - The Dominator's standard mode fires thin chakra bursts that paralyze the target by injecting them with the user’s chakra. In most cases, the target is rendered unconscious and unable to move their body for some time afterward. The effect is improved or weakened based on the target’s rank in relation to the user’s. (Same: one turn unconscious, one turn paralyzed / Higher: One turn paralyzed / Lower: two turns unconscious, one turn paralyzed) This B rank attack deals no damage.

Lethal Eliminator - A supplementary, anti-personnel mode of the Dominator. When it changes to this state, the lower portion of the gun undergoes a rather elaborate transformation which includes swiveling, sliding and flipping around most parts. Acting as a catalyst, it assists the holder as they manipulate jutsu through it, making jutsu capable of becoming more focused and potent. Jutsu used through this mode become capable of penetrating defenses and have a higher chance of killing the target. (+20 damage) This only applies to projectiles originating from the holder and cannot apply to streams or large scale techniques. Usable four times per battle/event.

Stabilizer - A supplementary mode similar in appearance and function to Lethal Eliminator except this mode only assists in maintaining a jutsu’s form at longer distances, improving its range by one level. (short to mid / mid to long) This only applies to projectiles originating from the holder and cannot apply to streams or large scale techniques. Usable four times per battle/event.

Destroy Decomposer - The Dominator's Anti-Material mode. The transformation of the weapon is even more extensive, and appears more neon than black. It is primarily used against armored targets or to clear away obstacles. It fires a powerful chakra burst that annihilates the target, leaving no trace of them. It can create a hole in a target of 1-2 meters in diameter or alternatively explode on impact for a larger area of effect. This is an S rank attack that is usable 3 times per battle/event

-Only usable by Ushiro an those he allows
-When foreign chakra enters holder’s chakra system or the holder is unauthorized, the indicators will turn red and prevent the weapon from being used.
-Lethal Eliminator and Stabilizer are used passively in the same timeframe as the relevant jutsu
-The first two elements used with the Dominator are the only elements it can use for the duration of the battle/event
-Non-Lethal Paralyzer and Destroy Decomposer each cost a move to use
-Projectiles move at the speed of an average lightning jutsu
-Two modes cannot be utilized in the same turn
