Databook is full of hyperbole?

I'm sorry. Has Temari's Fuuton blown away the universe? No? Does it have similar hype in the Manga? No? Looks like it's debunked.

Has Yata repelled every attack ever sent at it, as the Databook states? Yes? Has it received similar hype in the contexts of the manga (by the being who knows the entire history of shinobi, no less) Yes? Hmm. Interesting.

Yata was said to make the user INVINCIBLE. But last time I checked Itachi was dead. Case closed.

....

Yes. Correct. The Databook is supplementary. It gives us the information the manga doesn't. So logically the Databook is canon until proven false in the manga.

I'm done here. It's posts like Wilds' that have destroyed all hope at debating in this forum. This is not worth my time at 1:00am.

You always leave because you know your bonehead reasoning is flawed. Stop cherry picking from the databook.

The databook's take on justus and abilities are all hype.

Only thing you can even take from it are probably their likes and dislikes and affinities.

That's exactly the empty response I expected.

Devoid of any attempt at a factual retort composed of meaningful insight or manga proof.

We already discussed this and you ended up leaving that thread as well.

Please leave like you said you were if all you're going to do is whine.

Cherry picker.

Susanoo and Yata were active as he died. lol

You must be registered for see images

Nope. Itachi died from chakra exhaustion caused by his disease. As his chakra faded, his Susano'o faded (as seen in the scan you provided) taking Yata with it.

I guess you want to get overly technical on subtle nuances of literature that don't affect your case, rather than retorting my evidence.

It brings a smile to my face when I can so easily, and accurately determine a user's response. Keep up the non-existent work. Peace.

You're easily amused. Must be from being a bonehead.

Continue to cherry pick Databook scans.

No fans just don't bother going into the hype, and try to find reason.

If "canon" = Kishimoto's work

Databook = Kishimoto's work

If Databook = non-canon and utter Bs

Then what makes the manga relevant?

I mean people can't even grasp the hype in the manga about Yata and Totsuka. Yes Itachi with them out is invincible.... issue is he can't have them out for long, so they aren't that usefull in most shinobi fights.

Some people can't even tell the difference between a "feat" and a "hype". Someone attaining a title is apparently "a hype".. despite common sense saying its a feat.

Databook has hyperboles , but the reader's failure to understand the hyperboles is what causes all these arguments against the databook.

But you were the one that it was a Godly weapon that works outside the known laws of physics and that Itachi could directly control Yata Mirror. So why couldn't it "protect" him from his illness if that's the case?

All attacks lose meaning.
That would include disease and poison.

It is an ethereal spirit weapon likely from a realm of existence entirely outside of the Narutoverse, on par with spirits and gods such as the Shinigami. It is of a higher caliber than Hagoromo's tools, and was hyped as such by the being who knew of Kaguya's dimension busting TBB.

It is possible it does not work according to the known laws of physics, in the same way that the Shinigami is for all intents and purposes, a god.

Let me stop you right there, databook gives info not available in manga so you asking for a manga scan of the databook statement is silly.

Its canon.

Yes. Correct. The Databook is supplementary. It gives us the information the manga doesn't. So logically the Databook is canon until proven false in the manga.

Has the yata mirror stopped every attack that exists in the manga?

NO

Has temari's fan blown away what came in front of her?

YES

Both temari and yata have only faced what came in front of them not everything that exists yet you only accept yata statements because it fits your agenda.

Also you seem to be avoiding my question, why didn't yata negate chibaku tensei?

Necromancer's first comment:

Devoid of any attempt at a factual retort composed of meaningful insight or manga proof.

Necromancer proceeds to make this comment:

Nope. Itachi died from chakra exhaustion caused by his disease. As his chakra faded, his Susano'o faded (as seen in the scan you provided) taking Yata with it.

the irony

Disease and poison aren't considered attacks bro.

attack: take aggressive action against (a place or enemy forces) with weapons or armed force, typically in a battle or war.

Selective reading:

*Believes everything the databook says about Totsuka blade and Yata mirror*

*Thinks Temari being a universe buster among other things in the Databook are just hyperbole*
you mean a fan-made translation of her being a universe buster.

I know I made that point before, but them Itachi fans claim that anything can be considered an attack.

I said how would Yata Mirror know what defines as an attack? Necromancer stated it could be that Itachi can directly control it.

But if he could, then why couldn't he protect himself from disease? Also that would mean anything he doesn't see or can't react to can get passed Yata Mirror.

I said among other things.

Disease and poisons attack the body.. If yata mirror doesn't protect the body against that then how the hell does that make itachi invincible?

ahhh i see.

From the looks of it, its simply what clashes against Yata.

Anddd essentially Itachi while he has them out is invincible. But, his opponent would simply retreat. Thus those weapons, make up for his lack of stamina with MS and etc.

What are the other things?

Yata mirror doesn't go inside the body.. and the context of invincible was referring to fighting. Essentially he is invincible with those 2 out. Issue is no one is going to bother attacking him while he has them out, and that results in him wasting his chakra. Them making him invincible still only puts Itachi at mid-kage teir below the likes of other OP kages of the past.

I know what it meant. But before that, I made the point of how it can't block Kamui since it's bending space-time.

My biggest concern is the fact that Itachi fans insist that Yata Mirror can expand and protect the user from all angles.

I could believe that Yata Mirror has the potential to block any attack that clashes with it, but there is no proof whatsoever that it's omnidirectional. From what was shown, it protects the user from the front and nothing more. So something like a TBB would still hit Itachi due to the blast radius.

ahhh there i'm with you on that.

Yea plus Kamui isn't an attacking offensive technique, its simply teleportation of an object.

Well the other point I've made was that even if Yata Mirror can defend against anything that clashes with it and reliably protects the user from the front, something like a TBB would still hit Itachi due to the blast radius which would consume him from all angles.

Near the end of the manga, most techniques were wide-scale. That is why I cannot stand when Itachi fans keep claiming he remains victorious against all opponents.

I would say it'd depend on Itachi's usage of Yata while trying to block the tbb.

Basically the Yata won't break, but Itachi won't be able to endure it, such as Susanoo not being able to take it.
