Darkcloud Peak
Darkcloud Peak sees a lot of cold, rainy days, from which it gets its name. The area is characterized by large, circular mesas; rocky and barren, separated by deep, barren and even colder valleys. A few villages lie atop the mesas, mining the landforms for valuable ore and tending small, lowered fields with collected rainwater and little soil; a commodity here. A series of rope bridges connect the inhabited mesas, and a few pulley systems draw water from the rivers running through the valleys below.
Following Ashikaga's rampage, the soil, rocks, and other notable characteristics of the Darkcloud Peaks have been reduced to ash, cinder, and charcoal. Very little remains in this once remarkably beautiful landmark.
Further destroyed by the fall of the moon, this landmark has basically been reduced to nothing. The ash, cinder and charcoal is still present, but it is said that a small village of brave humans have settled here and regularly attempt to befriend any arali kind that will openly accept the human race.
