( Koukurage Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Taitou Oubochi ) Box Jellyfish Summoning Jutsu: Baron Cimitiére's Accession
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: The user performs a couple of handseals, summoning a giant jellyfish underground. The jellyfish possesses several dozens of tentacles, instead of 4. After being summoned, Baron Cimitiére rises them above ground, bursting forth with great power and strength, similar to the final dance of the Kaguya, having the same power as it. Afterwards, it can wrap around his opponents to crush them and poison them with it's venom.
*Can stay in the battlefield for 3 turns*
*Can only be summoned twice, if he didn't sustain critical damage*
*Requires two turns in between usage*
*The user must be on the ground or less than 10 meters from it to summon Cemitiére*
*The first outburst is a result of a chakra infused outburst, similar to an S rank, same as the rank of the technique. The initial outburst and the summoning technique count as 1 jutsu. The outburst can't happen any other time*
*Cannot use the chakra outburst if summoned second time*

Urek performed the required handseals and summoned a huge box jellyfish underground, slightly in front of my master; Liliana

"Well this one basically is a wonderful summoning. You summon this box either in front, to the right or left or even behind your opponent which he will then burst out of his spot, with his tentacles rising above the ground bursting forth with immense power and force slightly similar to the final dance of a certain Kaguya I once faced. Afterwards, it can wrap around your opponents to crush them and poison them with it's venom."

It's to be noted that the late La Croix was a massive box with four tentacles. Cemitiere is as massive as La Croix, but possesses many more, countless even. The magnitude of theses boxes is at the level of Manda II and any huge Boss summoning. The multiple tentacles will pop up all around the opponent, covering a wide terrain, and reaching incredible heights.

Wonderful! Very handy indeed.

Dean starts off by forming a few hand seals, and summoning a huge Box underground. This Box has several tentacles instead of just 4.

"Well, this is great Box. After this Box has been summoned, he releases his tentacles upwards and blasts them through the ground like a Kaguya technique. An impressive and offensive Box, these tentacles can then wrap around the opponent, and inject the Cubozoan venom into him/her. The Box itself stays on the field for up to three turns. Useful, and capable of killing many son's of *****es!"

Before we proceed, I need everyone here, including the previous students of mine. For I am showing you two new techniques, [I recently got 2 jutsu approved], the first for the Barons, [where I joined the two existing techniques into one, and everyone has to relearn it].

The second is the most important summoning of the contract. I'll have to run all of you through the signing of the contract again, relive it, per say, in order to talk about it.

So, in preparation for that, I want everyone to read this records of the training. They go deeper into the personalities and stories of each box, and the contract itself. You two know about this, but others don't.

I'd also like everyone to brush up on their Box knowledge, so ask any questions if you have any.

Mamaragan

To be honest, I haven't really given much of a personality to the boxes. Mamaragan is an aboriginal australian lightning god that speaks with the voice of thunder. So, I'd picture Mamaragan as a very old guy, all wrinkly, with a huge beard (his tentacles), making him have a very muffled yet booming voice. Imagine something with a very core-shaking pitch, but completely muffled like someone eating bread or talking behind a pillow. He sucks lightning, so one could imagine he's that sort of creepy guy that tries to hit on young girls, to steal a kiss but he instead does it to steal lightning. And he doesn't differentiate between men or women, he just hits on everyone to snag their lightning.

"Heh, mate, give ol' Mamaraga a ye bit of a kiss, will ye?" *kissing noise, and lightning is sucked into him* "Fresh as bacon, eh!"
Mauna Loa

Alrighty then! Let's move on to Mauna Loa. Mauna Loa could be seen like those very angry / throwing tantrum babies, that while they keep whining and protesting, they still do everything their parents tell them to do, though doing it with resignation on their faces. So he'd talk in a very whining voice, that is, if he doesn't decide to not respond at all, crossing his tentacles. He could also mock your tone of voice, but if you look at him straight he'll immediately regret and revert back to the whiny voice.

This box is not very fit for discrete/sneaky attacks, due to his behavior and the trail it leaves, but you could order it to do it somehow (going silent or mumbling lower). He'll angrily whine even harder when that mission is done.
Alright then, let's move o- HEY!

*Mauna Loa uses one of the tentacles to make a bird and flip us off*

Don't you dare do that again!

*He immediately stops, but starts to mumble angrily to himself. he tries to flip us off again, but I'm still looking, so he reconsiders right away*

Alright, moving on

*Mauna poofs with a brave bird*

That brat! Anyway, any questions?
Marinette

Alrighty then. The next box we're gonna summon is called Marinette. Consider her a very clever and beautiful summon, like a petit mademoiselle, very Haute couture, delicated and soft spoken. You could picture her doing long walks on the park with a sun umbrella, or laughing courteously over a cup of tea and some butter biscuits. Except when she's summon she becomes someone totally different, like a screeching owl, completely lunatic. She could pierce out your heart, drink the blood and give a gentle burp and softly whispering "oh, pardon me". She usually display this bipolarity in the initial turn of being summoned and the very last, being a total sadistic savage throughout the rest of the summoning time.

Exceptions are, for her to become courteous after being summoned, when you're charming her (results with male summoners, so I can never do it), suffering tea with her, or after ripping her enemies apart. On the other hand, when you're with her outside a summoning situation (or in a reverse summoning situation), she can become savage when you show hints of bad manners, when animals are hurt around her or when her favorite sports team loses, which are the Jelly Helly Hokey Team.
Box Families

Alright! Now, with the exception of Coco Macaque, all the boxes we summoned are individuals. But the Archipelago is divided by a great number of families, with the rulers of the whole reef being called The Barons. These families are composed of Boxes that share the same characteristics. When you use a family technique, you will still only summon, generically, 1 individual, but, unlike other techniques, multiple members of a same family can be in play, whereas, if you were to fight against a fellow box summoner, you wouldn't be able to both summon, say, Marinette. It is also important to mention that, within each family, the blood allegiances are stronger. I'll explain that better later.

Alright, so, just to brush on those circumstances. Coco Macaque are a family of larvae, all connected by chakra. They're transmitters, and they are very primitive, so they're more tools than actual members of the Box social hierarchy. In battle, both summoners could use the same technique, and different Coco Macaque would appear to different summoners. The same summoner could continuously summon the same individuals, and no other summoner, with the exception of the Contract Holder and the Ruling Barons, can summon the same.

If a summoner calls forth a family-less box, say, Marinnette, she will respond to that summoner. No other summoner will be able to use the same technique while she's in play, nor call her off without an appropriate technique ( which does no include Marinette's summoning technique ). The rules do not apply to the Contract Holder nor the Barons, which can use the same summoning technique to vanish or make the box change allegiance. So, Jokey could summon Marinette, and then L could counter by summoning one of the Barons, which, in turn, could summon Marinette, and she would change allegiance, thus L controls a Baron and Marinette.
If L tries to do the same with me, for example, I could simply use the same technique to summon the Baron, and could then vanish him or make him change allegiance, and, since Marinette is attached to the Baron, she would passively do the same.

While, in family summons, each summoner will be attached to a few individuals, and these can't be summoned by anyone but Contract Holder and the Barons. L could employ the same strategy against Jokey as before, but would not be able to make Jokey's ally change allegiance, simply make them vanish. When you summon a member of a family, it is good to get to know their names and personality ( OOC: You can create your own names and personality, if you'd like ), as these are yours and no one else's.

Btw, in all of these counter summonings and vanishings, you always spend chakra and a technique. So it's not feasible to keep nullifying summons, and even less feasible to keep using the Barons for that. Also, after the summoning time ends, your opponent can summon them into battle, so pay attention to what you do.

Questions on this?
Coatrischie Family

Alright, so, the first family is the Coatrischie family. Similar to Mamaragan and Marinette, they possess the ability to float in the air, due to their natural affinity with Wind. They are known to be quite the artists, with a befitting volatile temperament, like a tempest or a lightning storm. Due to their natural wind affinity and transparency, in special ceremonies, you can see several of the Coatrischie family gather in the air, where the refraction of light produces a ghostly and beautiful spectacle for others to see, though usually ends up in massive airborne brawls between each other, due to someone shinning fuchsia instead of lavender, or someone someone committing the dread of appearing oceanic cyan.

You can summon them now, and further analyze them and their abilities, please
Shango Family

Oh my, that was quick.

Alright then, next family is going to be, the Shango Family. These are quite malevolent and manipulative boxes. They hit hard, and they hit heartlessly. They are, though, very loyal and patient. They reach a state of purity and zen when doing evil things, killing, deceiving, etc, but will not behave rashly and hot-headedly. They're also responsible for training the militia of the Archipelago, making Boxes's soldiers ruthless, patient and lethal.
Agwe Family

Alright. So I was thinking of doing the Woomera now, and finishing up the Box Arts before going into the elite Boxes, but I think you guys want to learn Agwe's Venom, which is probably the most inventive box summoning in the contract xD Agwe is one of the oldest boxes of Archipelago, and the closest living relative of the very first ninja Box Jellyfish, who started the contract. He doesn't say much anymore, and is not summoned directly. Instead, you summon his specialized kin of extremely tiny boxes. The members of the Agwe family, with the exception of Agwe himself, will always be nano-sized. They also have very strong opinions about sardines.
Baron Cemitiere

Good enough ;)

Alright so, you're done with the Box Arts, now it's time for Baron Cemitiere. As I said previously, I believe, there are many families in the Archipelage. The Ruling family are the Barons. Before Baron Samedi and Maman Brigitte coup d'etat, which I aided upon arrival to the archipelago, the Box kind were ruled by 2 other Barons, La Croix and Cemitiere. They were gigantic boxes, and rule by power, rather than wit. I will tell more about Maman and Samedi's personality when we learn about them, but for now all you need to know is that they weren't happy with being sidelined, they wanted more power, and proliferated in the chaos that ensued with their claim. The sort of rigid and suppressed regime that the Archipelago was put on was let loose and all the natural wildness and creativity of the Boxes, as you experienced already, was allowed to resurface.

All the Boxes come from Damballah, and he was crazy. Baron Cemitiere and Baron La Croix were trying to suppress that, make the Archipelago a much more structured society, and it might have worked, but they too were crazy, the only thing was bound to fail. I will write more about this coup in my memoires ( my huge bio story for Isabella Uchiha xD ).

La Croix died in the coup, and Cemitiere was pushed off the ruling family. He's now more of a trump card, used for his massiveness. He Doesn't talk, because he doesn't think it's proper, and he believes himself to be a proper gentleman. But if you say some sort of crass joke, especially sexualized, as the currently ruling Barons tend to, he will burst out laughing with a high-pitch yelp, like a horse neighing.

Got it.

Only question I have is about the venom. How long do the affects take once the venom gets into someone? And what affects happen in what amount of time.
The effects are instant:

Archipelago Boxes Venom: The standard venom produced by the archipelago boxes is an enhanced version of the standard Cubozoa venom. It contains a mixture of hemolytic and neuro-toxins. Upon infection, the target will feel great pain, worse than being burned, as the poison spreads. The hemolytic toxins and other disgestive enzimes will burn and melt the flesh they come in contact with producing terrible scars in their path. Some Archipelago Boxes may utilize a different variation of the venom, focusing on different venoms used by different species of the Cubozoa class, which will be fully described in the jutsu description of each summon.

What is described there is instant, see it as sort of an acid liquid that pours out of the tentacles, or imagine the tentacles are blazing hot. Victims of Box Jellyfishes get scars with the exact shapes of the tentacles in their skin. These are instant effects upon contact.

The Pain is also instant and spreads out like lightning (through the electrical synapses of the body), across the rest of the target.
It is relatively localized within a whole limb and wide area around the point of contact. You can't make the full on effects spread form your opponent's toe to the head, but the pain is felt pretty much in the whole leg and part of the hip.

the neuro toxin will make the muscles contract, which, again, is pretty quick. If you make contact on an area close to the heart, like the chest and the back, you may cause the heart to stop (more difficult, need to be really close to the heart), or if you attack close to the lungs, you may cause the target to stop breathing (less difficult, wider area). The amount of time the target spends without breathing / heart attack is, depends on the time of contact and the amount.

generically, say a 2-3 tentacles, and a quick contact and then release (remove the tentacles), will cause a breath paralysis for like 5-6 seconds, and cause the heart to skip 2-3 beats. Longer contact will extend it longer. Bigger tentacles the same.
