Actually when Kakashi and Itachi met for the first time Kakashi asked Itachi how far ino the darkness had he reached. Itachi was taken aback because clearly Kakashi knew about the MS and it's drawbacks which would imply that Kakashi already had Kamui but he could barely use it. Remember when they were chasing Deidara he only used it once, i bellieve. With the way things are Kakashi'e sharingan eye should be fully blind.

tobi has a eternal mangekyo sharingan
mangekyo sharingan + mangekyo sharingan = eternal mangekyo sharingan
so tobi has no reason to take obito's mangekyo sharingan
also obito's 1 eye had been destroyed by the rock while the other one was given to kakashi

You understand that the last explanation talked about Tobi moving parts of his body into another dimension... Parts like the brain, heart, lungs; things that if we didn't have for a second we would die... And you think it would be impossible for us to by into the idea that at least obitos right eye survived a boulder landing on him...

Tobi tells kakashi that he got it at the fight where he was called the hero with the sharingan. Meaning when Obito gave him his eye, Kakashi won and was called the Hero with the Sharingan. Tobi was their when it happened and salvages Obito's eye. Tobi Obviously knew something about his eye and his past and family or whatnot.
Dude 1 how does he have Obito's Sharingan specifically while having both eyes, he used up one, obviously damage and nearly useless, eye with Izangi during the battle with Konan... How does he have Obito's Sharingan when his Sharingan is Identical to that of Madara's Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and not look like Obito/Kakashi's Mangekyou Sharingan
And to explain how he has had it for "17 years" with out is burning out?
First Tobi obviously knows and has revealed to us secrets that could have only been known to the higher ups of the Uchiha Clan and the Leaf Village decades ago during the time Madara Uchiha and the 1st Hokage, which is why it was so easy for him to masquerade as Madara Uchiha... and Tobi has an Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan Identical to that of Madara Uchiha's, which explains how he has kept its power for so long.
Whoever Tobi is he is obviously much older than he seems and must have extended his life in someway by some ninjutsu or he's just old and kept himself in really good shape, and was alive in the generation of Madara and Hashirama and must have stolen the eyes from Madara's Corpse and gained control of the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan but could not unlock the Rinnengan from the eyes or not known that EMS had the potential to unlock the Rinnengan and thought they were unrelated.
The Whole Tobi=Obito thing is ridiculous really the odds that one is the other were so outside the realm of possibility that it was just a bad joke and the odds have diminished since... All Obito/Tobi theories at this point in the game (or 200 Chapters ago) are so outside the realm of possibilities that it's ridiculous... and that's saying something considering we're talking about a fantasy story.

First of all, no, that isn't confirmed as being the only way to awaken the MS ( although that has been stated as one of the ways, not sure if it was just a lie) Secondly, Kakashi only got his MS later on, NOT just after Obitos death, he only got the sharingan from him after he was crushed. (don't know when exactly) and just because Kakashi share Obitos eyes with Tobi, doesn't make HIS eyes a MS as well as eyes act separately and can be at different stages of strength at the same time (proven by sasuke having different amount of tomoe in each eye.) I am assuming you must train that specific eye to MS yourself, unless you steal someone elses MS to get an EMS

Maybe Tobi used Standard Genjutsu on the Kyuubi..i think his level of Genjutsu is impressive so far.
