Damn it... As much as I love them... I have a feeling Obito already has a few techniques that he neglects enough.. No need to give him a few Rinnegan feats and just... Not use them all the time.

Wish he would use the Preta Path instead of his new anti-ninjutsu technique. I don't see the sense in giving him two jutsu that work nearly the same.

I think he's only used the Preta to block Naruto's Rasengan, and Him/Obito using Rinne Tensei. He hasn't shown Deva Path abilities, no cannon from his arm (Asura), Naraka, or Human Path, or the Animal Path summons..

You'll have to look up the specific scans yourself I'm afraid (Too tired.) Nagato used them more to accelerate his speed (Saving Konon, catching Bee after a full powered Shinra Tensei.) not to levitate, though the implications are similar.

Oh I know that. He said Nagato and Pain, so I assumed he was referring to a time where Nagato himself was shown levitating in the manga. I'm aware Nagato obviously can since Pain can. Unless the OP said Nagato because Pain did it as well, in that case then I just plain misunderstood him.

Well there's also Madara's utilisation of the chakra rods - a knock-off of the six paths technique.

Also, the fact he taught Obito the Rinne Tensei implies he knows that. And the topic of Tengai Shinsei being a Rinnegan tech: it most likely is but you have to be able to use the Rinnegan's abilities to its full extent to use them.
