I'm going to have fun with all these new combos :zonder:

Lets go KG!
Be careful, it could easily be used against you. Always think what you are doing and thoroughly read both your opponents move and yours. It can avoid a lot of trouble and fuss.

Not yet KG.

Now that the basics are covered, let’s cut to the core; how strong is a combination, how to counter, what rank should it be considered.

Let’s begin by establishing some ground rules;

-An A-rank combined with another A-rank does not give you a forbidden rank; it gives you the equivalent of an S-rank jutsu. Two B-rank will give you an A-rank, so on and so forth.

-Non linear combinations such as: B-rank combined with A-rank, will result in an S-rank jutsu. Since it would be debatable whether or not it’s considered an S-rank or an A-rank, we assume it’s the stronger of the two. This way, when defending, you’ll always be safe and no debate will arise. Again, when making a combination of two jutsu which differ by one rank, the resulting jutsu is one rank above the stronger of the two.

-The only exception applies to S-ranked jutsus. When combining an S-rank with another S-rank or an S-rank with an A-rank jutsu, it doesn’t become a Forbidden rank technique. By definition, a Forbidden technique requires that the user suffers severe damage when performing the technique. Hence, those two combinations will only result in a very strong S-rank jutsu.

Example:

S+S= Very strong S-rank jutsu
S+A= Strong S-rank jutsu
A+A=S-rank jutsu
A+B=S-rank jutsu
B+B=A-rank jutsu
B+C=A-rank jutsu
C+C=B-rank jutsu
C+D=B-rank jutsu
D+D=C-rank jutsu

For the Range criteria, the same logic applies when mixing two different types, inversly however. We need to keep in mind that what primarily defines the range of a jutsu is both it's momentum (if it's a projectile) and the "intent" of the jutsu. By "intent" I mean it's goal. For example, the Chidori isn't meant to be a Mid-Long range technique at first (the one Kakashi uses), although it does require a lot of chakra. Since the momentum and speed of a jutsu won't change if he is mixed with another jutsu of same momentum and speed, only faster or slower jutsu afects the range. In other word, only heterogenous compinations will have an impact on the range, homogeneous combinations keep the same range. Also, we will follow the same logic as with the rank of jutsus; when unsure wheter is should be higher or lower, we always assume higher in order to avoid debates. So, we could define the range of a combination this way:

Long Range + Long Range = Long Range
Long Range + Mid Range = Long Range
Long Range + Short Range = Mid Range
Mid Range + Mid Range = Mid Range
Mid Range + Short Range = Mid Range
Short Range + Short Range = Short Range

As for the special case that is the combination between water an lightning, it is a false assumption that lighting can travel indefinetly through water. However, for the purpose of our RP, when using a water and a lightning jutsu in combination, the whole water jutsu is then electrified.

Very good Hoodie ^^.

Next we cover the weaknesses/strengths of KG/KT and special forms of chakra. To be exact: You will do that. That will be your assignment. I will post you all the elements and you will write what they are weak/strong/neutral against.

First an explanation is in order:

"Strengths and weaknesses are measured into one rank difference between both releases. Double strength or double weakness means two rank difference instead of one (basically meaning "very strong" or "very weak").

Example:

Element X is Strong against Element Z and Weak against Element W while being neutral to Element Y

This means that an A-Rank Element X technique can only be stopped by a S-Rank Element Z technique. On the other hand, a B-Rank Element W Technique will stop an A-Rank Element X technique. An A-Rank Element X technique will be stopped by an A-Rank Element Y technique. "

If you don't understand this tell me so I will elaborate.

Now I will post the KG and special element which are created when combing the basic 5:

-Raw Chakra*
-Rain
-Lava
-Wood
-Storm
-Crystal
-Ice
-Dark
-Steel
-Boil
-Scorch
-Sage Chakra*
-Shadow*
-Bugs
-Steam
-Sound
-Blast
-Magnetism
-Sand
-Dust

*These are things/segments that were not created by combining elements but they are mixtures of chakras or clan KG.

What I want you to do with these is post me the strengths and weaknesses for each of those. They can be neutral, strong or weak so you keep in mind, there can be multiple elements. Use some threads on the forum if you must, but no C/P

Ill try to do all of this with just my knowledge, so itll probably be crap xd

Raw chakra:

As far as I know raw chakra doesn't have any major strenghths but its weak to all forms of elemental chakra. Though I think chakra with shape manipulation does better against elemental technqiues but I can't remember exactly.

rain:

Rain is basically treated the same as suiton in terms of strengths/weaknesses. So its weak to earth and strong to fire

lava:

I know lava is strong against earth but I dont know what its weak against o.o i would guess water lol

wood:

Wood is strong against earth/water and weak against lightning ^^

Storm:

Storm is weak to wind and strong against earth and...fire i think?

Crystal:

Crystal is weak against sound cause it shatters it and lightning cuts through crystal. ummmm water and earth are weak against it and can be used to make crystals

Ice:

weak to earth and strong to wind and water

Dark:

Dark is double weak against earth and also weak to water. It is strong against fire and lightning

Steel:

Strong against earth and weak against lightning

Boil:

Boil i know little about o.o I know you can use wind to blow boil release away..

Scorch:

Scorch is strong against water cause it just dries it up and weak against earth i think

Sage chakra:

I think cause of the natural energy that forms sage chakra that it become even with elemental techniques. so it doesnt really have str/wks i think

Shadow:

Shadow is only weak against light cause it screws with the shadows so that can't be controlled. So fire

Bugs:

Weak to everything xd lol they can be burnt, crushed, fried, sliced or drowned but they are strong against raw cahkra

Steam:

wind can blow away steam i guess, im not sure what its strong against

Sound:

Strong against crystal and weak to earth and wind

Blast:

Strong against earth, weak against lightning

magnetism:

Not really strong against anything and weak to lightning cause it can neutralize the magnetic fields

Sand:
Weak to water and strong against earth and fire

Dust:
Weak against lightning, strong against everything else xd

Lmao at Dust xd.

Anyways, here is the thread to get things straight since I'm a bit too lazy to correct it all.

Battling types and characteristics.

So there are four basic types of battle styles:

-Close Combat (includes hand to hand, melee elemental techniques such as chidori, low rank genjutsu and weapon use. Requires speed and agility. Speed because you're so close to your opponent that making hand seals or moving to produce a technique that envolves large chakra molding will leave you open, so techniques that are smaller, faster and denser and that which no hand seal is needed, are the choice, thus speed. Agility because things in close combat happen fast and you need both physical and mental agility to react)

-Ranged combat (envolves generally Wind, Lightning and Fire projectile techniques that are fast and easy to perform and envolves clones/summonings to get the upper hand generally. Its the most easiest of all styles but also the one that lacks the most defensive, supplementary and offensive skills. Its basically "the safe method" as you don't expose too much of yourself and still are able to keep attacking)

-Elemental Mayhem/Battleground transformation (one of my favorites. You use large, slow techniques to alter your battlefield and basically use size and volume to overpower your enemy. Main elements are Water and Earth (depending on the battleground) combined with ranged large Fire and Wind techniques. You repeatedly destroy and keep the battleground changing and trapping your enemy while hitting him with large, wide ranged elemental techniques. A most vicious type of battle because larger techniques make for larger mistakes on defenses. However, its also very prone to technicalities. Large A-Rank, S-rank and Forbidden Rank techniques always come with restrictions so at each use you are limiting yourself and keep restricting your next possible moves, leaving you prone to mistakes. Also, because you are creating and altering so much and manipulating such large volumes of elements, you may blind your enemy and confuse him...but it may also work on the same way towards yourself. KG elements such as Wood and Lava are excellent for this method)

-Guerrilla warfare (another good tactic but that needs careful usage. Genjutsu and "stealth" are used to the maximum extent. You camouflage your real actions with powerful illusions, messing your enemies senses to strike unnoticed and without a chance for counters. It falls generally more into short range but can also be effective at mid range. However, because your efforts are in illusions, you will lack the power to actually endure a powerful elemental spammer, specially if he has a doojutsu or sensory abilities or even if he's very very experienced.)

Credits go to Scorps for creating these.

Hmm right now i do more of the elemental mayhem/battleground transformation thing but once I get trained in Genjutsu i want to include some of the guerilla warfare into it too ^_^

What bios do you have now anyways? And why do you consider yourself that way?
Right now i have Sasori and an Inuzuka but im dropping the inuzuka for a Soma no Kou bio.*

I consider my self to be like that cause its the battlestyle i find to be most effective and the most fun at the same time. I really like getting my opponent on the defensive and either killing them or causing them to make a mistake.
