I've read lot of interesting answers and arguments ; I'll take some time to answer but I honestly think Sasuke would take this guys. I might be underrating Jiraiya.
the range of his sword thus making the extra 'little' range frog kata grants void. Doesn't take a genius to understand how that inhibits frog kata when Jiraiya can't even close the distance.
That would require Sasuke to blitz, which isn't happening here. I know you're referring to the situation where Sasuke almost killed Suigetsu and Juugo. Key differences? Jiraiya won't have his back turned like those two did, and he's much quicker, experienced, and more skilled than those two.
