In the quietude of the serene, green expanse, Faye stands, awaiting the imminent arrival of her adversary. The verdant field stretches before her, a canvas of calm interrupted only by the rustle of the wind through the grass. Her gastrocnemius muscles tighten, a subtle indication of the anticipation coursing through her as she readies herself for the forthcoming battle.

The weighted shackles around her legs release, rendering her lighter, and with a series of nimble hops, she acquaints herself with the liberated agility. Each leap on the grassy stage is a dance, a prelude to the impending confrontation.

As Faye’s adversary arrives, she gracefully bows. Caution, the hellhound puppy on her shoulder, mimics the gesture with a cute nod, infusing a touch of charm into the solemnity of the moment.

"Thank you for the opportunity," Faye says calmly. The words echo across the undulating field, resonating with a blend of appreciation and determination. With that, she assumes a fighting stance, a sculpture against the backdrop of nature's own artistry, ready to engage in the unfolding duel.

Description: A basic automated clamp designed to read the electrical input of muscles contracting allowing the user to simply flex in a specific way to release them. These clamps are integrated into Leg Weights to hold them in place. Allowing the user to simply flex their leg in a specific manner to passively release the weight gives them freedom of mobility. These clamps give no added bonus or benefit other than releasing the weights in a more versatile way, better suited for combat.

Ryuu arrived to the agreed upon location in which a challenger wished to battle for the sword he held, with his Byakugan already activated. This was the first time he was accepting a challenge, and so he clutched onto Kagutsuchi tightly in his right hand, not wanting to give it up so soon. Stopping ten metres away from her, Ryuu gently bowed back in response to the woman's gesture, before nodding his head towards her to acknowledge her gratitude. Never having encountered this opponent before, Ryuu had no idea what to expect from her, so thought it would be wise to have extra backup. And so he divided his chakra evenly, before creating one clone besides him. Standing one metre to his left, the duo now watched their opponent, wondering what she would do.

Description: The kekkei genkai intrinsic to both the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans—descendants of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Those who possess this dōjutsu have it manifested as eyes with featureless white irides and no visible pupils. And when activated, the pupils become more distinct and the veins near their temples bulge. To activate the dōjutsu, Hyuga but not Ōtsutsuki clan members are initially obliged to use a rather long and specific sequence of handseals: Horse → Tiger → Boar → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar → Snake. But once activated, the dōjutsu user is endowed with a range of skills.

To start, an activated Byakugan gives the user a near 360º diameter field of vision bar one blind spot at the back of the neck, above the first thoracic vertebra. Its vision can penetrate through any solid objects or obstructions, and likewise remains unaffected by blinding interferences. But that being said, certain barriers and the like may distort its perception. In addition, it is able to follow high-speed movements, which enables those with this dōjutsu to analyze their foes' actions and better react to them. The Byakugan is also able to see chakra to a higher degree than the Sharingan and ergo, identify where a person's chakra signature originates from. Beyond that, it can discern certain types of clones from the real person. And its ability to see chakra is in fact so acute that those who possess this dōjutsu are even able to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that comprise it. The Hyūga clan has gone so far as to develop their unique Gentle Fist style in order to capitalize on this particular ability.

Note: Hyuga clan bios of at least Jonin rank become able to passively activate their dōjutsu upon one month having passed since Gentle Fist training concluded. Ōtsutsuki bios never need to expend a move in order to activate it.
Note: While traversing the NW, bios with activated Byakugan are able to see up to two 2 adjacent landmarks away while those of sage rank can see as far as three away, but this doesn't extend beyond an ocean landmark.

Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and himself and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clones, a max number of 4, are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force, returning 10% of its individual chakra to the user. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original with Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan or normal Chakra Sensing. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

Facing her opponent, a young Hyūga clan member, Faye delved into the depths of his essence, captivated by the serene flow of his soul, as gentle as rippling waters. His calm demeanor mirrored the tranquility within. With a reciprocal bow, the boy, undeterred, swiftly conjured a clone, both pairs of eyes keenly observing the unfolding duel.

Faye, seeing the firm grip on his sword, knew he was not ready to part with it. The way his soul gave off a vibrant glow of vitality, Faye was easily able to recognize and hypothesize that he had probably mastered yang release. This was no ordinary challenge; the upcoming clash would be formidable.

"Please, keep watch," Faye uttered, her words seemingly addressed to the air, but in truth, she commanded a Genki spirit in the pure realm, hovering high above, providing a unique perspective on the impending confrontation.

In a fluid motion, Faye's handseal initiated a rapid effect. A bright blue aura enveloped her opponent's ankles, and in that instant, the ground within a 5-meter radius turned to ash before violently erupting upwards. The eruption sent both the boy airborne in a swirling cloud and the close to dissipate. As Faye's opponent grappled with the unexpected assault, the ash carried a latent danger—contact with fire or wind techniques would trigger a sudden explosion. Faye observed intently eager to see how her opponent would respond.

The sequence unfolded swiftly, a testament to Faye's mastery. With no need for hand seals in her fire technique, she heightened the challenge for her slowed-down adversary, trapping them within the impending "blast zone." The dance of elements and strategy had begun.

Description: A jutsu originally developed to be used on prisoners ,the user performs a lone handseal before focusing their fuuton chakra around their target's ankles or wrists, using this chakra the user will compress the air around the joint until it's very dense and heavy, so dense that it gives off a bright blue glow, this "heavy air" is attached to the ankles or wrists depending on which joint is targeted, due to its immense density and small volume, the compressed air has a lot of mass and weight and would weigh down the targeted joint.

Note: The compressed reduces the target joint's speed by 5 points i.e if a target's leg speed is 20 and this jutsu is used on his ankles, his leg speed gets cut down to 15 as they aren't used to the immense weight and also the damage from this joints is reduced by 10 i.e say...if this jutsu is used on a ninja's wrist, the punches or palm thrusts jutsu the target pulls off from this hand gets a - 10 damage as long as this jutsu is active.

Description: The user performs two handseal as they infuse katon chakra on whichever part of the ground surrounding them they wish (similar to Swamp of the Underworld). This katon chakra will burn the targeted earth below the surface by consuming the tiniest bit of air underneath, using it as fuel. Because katon chakra has burnt the ground, it turns into ash which is then manipulated with the help of katon chakra blended onto it to rise upwards in a burst, causing anything on the affected ground surface up to 5 meters to received damage as they're being sent flying upward by the rising ash. Which part of the ground should be affected is up to the user. It could be all the ground around an opponent's location, in a circular formation around themselves (the user), or any other manner. Anyone who gets sent flying by the burst of ashes receives 2nd-degree burning damage. As for opponents who were beneath ground surface whilst this jutsu was performed, they will receive similar damage but will also be unable to breathe as the air beneath ground has been consumed by the user's technique. If someone uses a fire or wind technique that gets in contact with the ash during its process of rising up, the ash would explode in a similar fashion as Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning, affecting whoever was inside the targeted area and giving them 3rd-degree burns.

Although he knew he was quite strong and had grown considerably in recent years, Ryuu still couldn't help but feel nervous as he waited for his opponent to do something. This was the tense part; waiting for something. But then the battle started, and Ryuu forgot his anxieties as he was forced to think about his own survival and honour now. After the opponent completing a handseal, Ryuu and his clone noticed rings of chakra appear around their ankles, which they could tell was wind chakra through their Byakugan. It felt heavy but didn't appear to be harming them in any way, so they ignored it for now. Most likely this was a technique meant to slow them down. However, Ryuu had no intention of moving from his current spot anyway, so it didn't affect him.

After the wind chakra appeared around their ankles, and before the opponent got the chance to do anything else, Ryuu and his clone wasted no time in initiating their own attack. They decided to start off not too difficult, with the clone making one hand seal before placing the woman in an illusion in which she would see feathers falling from the sky. If it wasn't dealt with quickly enough, she would fall asleep.

Simultaneously to the clone, Ryuu, who was still clutching his fire sword firmly, inhaled whilst molding chakra into his lungs, before releasing it as a large stream of flames towards the opponent, having the same width of the woman's body, so that when the flames engulfed her, they would perfectly fit onto her body, with Ryuu only having to move it slightly up and down to fully incinerate her, and if she moved, Ryuu would simply move the flames to follow her. The duo then waited to see how she would deal with this, although they already guessed that this would not be too difficult to deal with.

The flames are hot enough to quickly evaporate large quantities of water within a relatively short amount of time.

In response to Faye's assault, the Hyūga boy and his clone acted swiftly. The clone attempted to ensnare Faye in Genjutsu, but the illusion was promptly dispelled by Caution, Faye's personal summon who was perched on her shoulder continuously flushing her chakra system.

Originally planning an attack from below, Faye pivoted strategy. She unfurled a scroll, channeling chakra through it to summon a majestic xenon-infused flaming tiger. With an orange outer glow, the tiger materialized, its size substantial enough to intercept the oncoming stream of flames. Immediately as it’s summoned the tiger sprints forward through the onslaught at enhanced speeds, only incurring a minor -20 damage decrease.

Seizing the moment, Faye executed the boar handseal. Upon exactly entering close range the xenon within the tiger ignited, an intense flash of blinding light erupted, resembling a flash-bang grenade. The sudden brilliance not only blinded but also stunned both Faye's opponent and his clone.

Simultaneously, beneath the disoriented combatants, Faye channeled earthen chakra, transforming the ground into a sticky liquid. Whilst the tiger pounced unseen due to it’s luminosity, it pounced on the Hyūga boy, causing him to stagger backward. This release of pressure triggered a double explosion— one from the ignited tiger and another from the set trap.

The battleground echoed with the aftermath, a symphony of explosive brilliance, as Faye's calculated maneuvers unfolded seamlessly.

Description: Stage Fright is a versatile jutsu that passively bestows the user's Xenon element upon any weapon, projectile, or technique they employ, giving it a subdued, dim glow. While the infusion bolsters the power and speed of the infused technique or weapon, its main ability is the reactivity when the Xenon-infused element enters short range of the opponent. At that moment, the Xenon within the infused object or technique ignites, generating a sudden, blinding flash of intense light, like a flash bomb, disorienting the unsuspecting target. Wielding these constructs with the Xenon aura allow the user to delay or expedite the ignition, though the blinding effect can only apply when a target sees the ignition within short-range.

Note: Can only be used once every 3 turns. Four times per battle.

Description: After performing the Boar handseal, this technique enables the user through a transmission of earth chakra, to lay a dormant trap that stays on the field, until triggered by the lift of pressure. By compressing and converting the earth beneath the combatant into a sticky liquid, the ground below the target will lower slightly to an extend which is overall unnoticeable. Should the lift of pressure occur should the target move, the trap will trigger and explode similiar to a grenade converging onto everything within short-range. The sticky liquid is similiar to the mud found in Swamp of the Underworld. The user can create one trap per usage, within the range of the technique which is fairly fast in creation, such as it is upon explosion.
Note: Can only be used thrice per battle.

Ryuu and his clone looked on grimly as they realised that part of their attack had failed. They noticed with their Byakugan how the opponent's chakra flow didn't change, and suspected that the little creature sitting atop her shoulder may have had something to do with that. Ryuu's stream of fire was also defeated as a flame tiger was sent their way. But he himself was not to be defeated yet. Taking out a scroll of his own, he summoned through it a large dragon made of fire to clash with the oncoming attack. At the same time, his clone was touching Ryuu to transfer extra chakra to him to strengthen the attack, a feat which not many could do due to the great level of chakra control required in such an act. The duo looked on proudly, showcasing which the stronger of the two beasts were. Greatly overpowering the tiger, the dragon continued straight on to attack the woman, exploding once it made contact with her.

Description: This is an advanced ability that ninjas with great chakra control can learn to use and that Bijuu possess innately. The user will release his or hers unmolded chakra onto another ninja, effectively transferring it. The technique has many uses, from restoring an allies chakra to releasing him from a Genjutsu or simply to give him more chakra to mold, allowing him to drastically boost the power of a technique. Tsunade could even use this technique, together with her Creation Rebirth technique to, in conjunction with her summon Katsuyu, heal multiple people at the same time during Pain's attack on Konohagakure. If used to power the use of a technique, the recipient of the chakra can boost one technique by adding +20 chakra to it which increases its damage by +40. To do this, the recipient must mold the technique while the user of Chakra Tenso no Jutsu is transferring chakra into him, meaning that both the transfer and the technique must be done at the same time. The transfer can only be done with direct contact between user and target and restores the targets chakra by up to 100 points per turn. The technique can even be used by ninjas with natural energy passively coursing through their chakra flows, as a medical ninja's near perfect chakra control enables them to filter the unwanted and sometimes harmful energy from entering the recipients chakra system.
Note: Only usable by bios with great chakra control (NB Medical Ninjas, Hyuuga bios, Canon Medical Ninjas). Bios seen using it in the manga can also use it.

OOC: Like we agreed on discord, the chakra transfer technique doesn’t work in boosting one’s own techniques via clone. Hence your move only has 115 damage, meaning the two just clash and cancel leaving the hunt is uninterrupted.


With the boy’s dragon clashing against the tiger and mutually canceling each other out, the stage was set for “The Hunt” trap, poised to explode should the Hyūga boy or his clone move or in any way lift pressure off where they stand.
Faye decided to elevate the confrontation. Her skin radiated intense heat, canine teeth elongated, and red markings adorned her eyes—an unmistakable sign of Sage Mode.

"Enough games, Hyūga boy. I know you're hiding your true strength. Do not underestimate me," Faye declared, her voice cutting through the charged air with an edge of determination.

With Sage Mode engaged, Faye exhaled eight great fireballs into the sky at the same time. The fiery orbs rained down on the boy and his clone, dealing severe damage to the former as the latter would be caused to poof away in cloud of smoke.
Faye continued her relentless assault. While her opponents grappled with the lingering fireballs, she executed the ram handseal, exhaling a potent blast of wind. This added element compounded the Hyūga boy's troubles, amplifying the complexity of the battlefield as it echoed with the crackling of flames and forceful gusts.

Description: An empowered state of body achieved by blending natural energy with one’s physical and spiritual energy. The mode heightens performance on all levels by adding a new dimension of power to the user’s chakra. The state is a direct result of Senjutsu chakra circulating through the body. To enter this form, a minimum of 10% of the user’s maximum chakra reserve must be molded into Senjutsu chakra, all subsequent technique employ Senjutsu chakra until the minimum cost (-10/turn) cannot be paid to sustain the mode. The user is resistant to damage, reducing 30 damage from all techniques and, for the duration of this technique. The user is able to passively sense chakra and his/her perception through not only nature sensing but heat sensing while reflexes and speed are enhanced by x3. Their fire ninjutsu and strength increases, empowering katon and taijutsu techniques by +30. Additionally, the user is able to break out of Genjutsu, using Genjutsu release technique one rank lower than what he would normally be required to. And similarly, the requirement to break out of user’s Genjutsu using Release or Chakra surge is one rank higher than required. Lastly, the user gains access to hellhound anatomy. Keeping the sharp teeth, she gains a red marking around her eyes like most sage modes, getting rid of the fur around her body, but her body still being extremely hot, making those who make physical contact with her, deals -15 Damage.

Note: Usable thrice per battle by Perfect Sages only. Must wait 1 turn before using this technique again. Once per battle, the user is able to instantly activate Sage mode, with 10% of their maximum chakra reserve as Senjutsu Chakra.

These fireballs have explosive and concussive abilities, similar to other fire techniques.

After both the attacks canceled out, Ryuu and his clone noticed a build up of earth chakra in the ground beneath them. They almost retaliated, but then realised that nothing was happening. Instead, the ground beneath them seemed to sag just a little, and they could see that the texture of the earth beneath was more like a liquid now. They thought that perhaps the ground could fall apart at any moment, due to its sagging and change in composition, and so decided not to move to be cautious just in case they fell into it. As long as they stayed still, they thought, perhaps they wouldn't fall into it. Instead, they would just nullify this technique as soon as possible. They also noticed that the woman seemed to change her appearance a little, with markings characteristic to that of Sage mode. She was not going to be very easy to deal with... She also seemed to want to see his true strength, but he dared not do anything rash at the moment which could cause him to fall into the ground, or whatever it was that this chakra beneath him intended to do.

So, very carefully, and slowly enough so as not to move his body at all, the clone performed the Tiger hand seal, before slowly moving his head to face down, so that he released a very thin stream of pressurised water at the ground in front of him, slowly moving his head back and forth in a wide range in front, making sure to cover all areas. Of course, he made sure to be careful so as not to affect him and Ryuu with it. Being powerful enough to even cut through rock, the water pierced through the earth very easily and disabled the opponent's technique, prompting the duo to sigh in relief. Once this was done, the clone looked forward again so that the stream of water continued on towards his foe, making sure to move his head to keep the water on her if she moved.

Simultaneously to the clone, Ryuu carefully performed the Snake hand seal, making sure to only move his hands slightly and not his body, before releasing a spear of lightning towards the woman through his open mouth, which did not require him to move at all. It traveled straight to its target, aiming to strike her down should she fail to defend.

The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

Following their synchronised attacks, Ryuu manipulated the ground beneath the opponent so that large pillars of rock emerged from underneath her, impaling her.

I was asked to check whether or not Ryoma's counter triggers The Hunt. Simple answer, yes it does. However, the attacks launched would still plow through and continue as intended due to their superiority in strength (+tf), with the clone having it's mouth/face area unaffected by the Hunt due to the sustained nature of Severing Wave. So it would end with Ryuu and the clone launching their attacks then getting caught in the sticky explosion. I have not read anything else besides the relevant posts btw, so if there is more that needs to be addressed lmk and I'll give a more in depth look if needed. And sidenote to Ryoma, the deduction that you don't need to move to not trigger The Hunt is bordering on meta gaming, just something to watch out for future fights.

As the boy and his clone synchronized their assault, Faye deftly evaded their simultaneous attack, tracing an arc around them while maintaining a consistent distance—an intricate dance that left her unscathed. In this precise moment, the hidden Hunt trap beneath the Hyūga boy was triggered.

The ensuing explosion created a disorienting burst of sticky mud that ensnared the boy and his clone, restricting their movements and rendering them blind in a mire of uncertainty.

Seizing the opportunity, Faye manifested a sphere of Katon chakra around the trapped duo, enclosing them within a pressurized heat ball that intensified relentlessly. With calculated precision, she transformed the ground beneath them into ash, an eruption of scorching flames severely burning the boy and obliterating his clone.

The ensuing explosion, triggered by the interaction of the pressurized heat ball and the ashen eruption, engulfed the battlefield in a massive conflagration. The boy was caught in the decisive blast, the battle seemingly reaching its culmination. Yet, Faye, ever vigilant, readied herself for the unfolding of her next strategic move.

Description: The user performs two handseals as they infuse katon chakra on whichever part of the ground surrounding them they wish (similar to Swamp of the Underworld). This katon chakra will burn the targeted earth below surface by consuming the tiniest bit of air underneath, using it as fuel. Because katon chakra has burnt the ground, it turns into ash which is then manipulated with the help of katon chakra blended onto it to rise upwards in a burst, causing anything on the affected ground surface up to 5 meters to received damage as they're being sent flying upward by the rising ash. Which part of the ground should be affected is up to the user. It could be all the ground around an opponent's location, in a circlular formation around themselves (the user), or any other manner. Anyone who gets sent flying by the burst of ashes receives 2nd-degree burning damage. As for opponents who were beneath ground surface whilst this jutsu was performed, they will receive similar damage but will also be unable to breathe as the air beneath ground has been consumed by the user's technique. If someone uses a fire or wind technique that gets in contact with the ash during its process of rising up, the ash would explode in a similar fashion as Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning, affecting whoever was inside the targeted area and giving them 3rd-degree burns.

Unfortunately for Ryuu and his clone, they had become trapped in a layer of sticky mud which prevented them from moving. The opponent however had moved from her original spot, swiftly evading their attacks. They also noticed a sphere of fire chakra forming around them as they were trapped. Things weren't looking good for them at all, and they had to get out quick. Thinking fast, Ryuu gathered yang chakra into both his arms, manipulating them into 4 streams of white chakra from each arm, in the shape of serpents. He also added the fire element to them in order to strengthen them. This required no hand seals or movement from him of any kind, making it possible. Of course, given their superior strength to the mud, upon their emergence, they would immediately break the sticky mud binding the duo by striking at it from its base above ground and in the ground, and anywhere else it may have needed to, causing it to fall away from the pair as it lost its strength, also making sure not to harm them in the process.

Simultaneously as Ryuu did this, the clone activated his lightning chakra armour at the highest level, so that by the time he activated it, he was already freed from the mud thanks to the serpents. All he had to do then after activating his armour then was grab Ryuu by his shirt and dash off towards the woman with Ryuu in tow, out of the range of the impending disaster. Ryuu, on his part, after using the yang serpents to free them from the mud, used the serpents as a shield around them both, having the serpents form a protective layer around them both. The serpents from his right arm surrounded him, and those from the left surrounded the clone. This was just a preemptive measure and most likely didn't need to be done, but was done just in case they miscalculated something. Either way, due to the clone's insanely fast speed level, they were out of there in the blink of an eye. As soon as the duo escaped the vicinity of the attack, the explosion occurred, but they were already out of reach, now just 5 metres in front of their opponent and still moving. If the opponent went ahead with the next technique, they were already out of the range. Also as soon as they were out, the serpents removed themselves from around the pair and instead shot forward to grab onto Faye, striking her and at the same time wrapping around her to trap her in place. The eight serpents spread out to trap her all over from head to toe.


(Yoton: Yamata no Orochi) Yang Release: 8 Branched Giant Snake

Description: This technique sees the creation of the mythical serpent, the Yamata no Orochi. The user begins by gathering their Yang chakra into their arms and creating three branching streams of white chakra from each of them as well as coating both arms in chakra. The user’s arms and streams of chakra will take the form of serpents with flaming amber eyes. Due to the nature of this technique utilizing one’s Yang chakra, these serpents are not simple manifestations of chakra, but actual sentient creatures. The serpents can sense entities like ordinary snakes and they share a telepathic link to the user, allowing them to communicate with each other. They act like chakra arms and can be used for a variety of purposes. In the base form of this technique, the 8 branches are simple ethereal constructs of sentient Yang chakra. In their second form, users can add nature release to the branches to increase their power, including AE and CE the user knows. In their third and final form, the user can add Yin Release chakra and give the branches physical bodies. The addition of the Yin Release also gives the branches unique venom which drains the physical vitality of the victim. The bite from each snake lowers a victim’s physical speed, reaction, and ability to use high ranked physical techniques.
Note: Form 1 is usable by all users of Yang Release, Form 2 is usable by Yang Release Specialists and Yin-Yang users. Form 3, also known as Yin-Yang Release: Yamata no Orochi is only usable by Yin-Yang Users.
Note: The vitality degenerating venom is capable by all branches of this technique, however there is only enough for 3 usages. The vitality degeneration venom becomes worse with every bite. If a victim is bitten once their base reaction/tracking is reduced by half, twice and their base speed and physical damage is reduced by half, and thrice they will lose the ability to use any form of tai or kenjutsu techniques and will be rendered completely paralyzed 2 turns after the third bite if not healed. The victim will be unable to do anything short of breathing, including using their chakra. Users bitten once also become incapable of using physical elevating techniques such as Sage Mode or EIG.
Note: Medical ninja or other Yang Release users can rid themselves of the poison through means of medical techniques or vitality boosting techniques such as power of the sun.
Note: Technique can only be used once per battle and requires 50 chakra points to maintain (60 above the first form). While this technique is in use, the user cannot use any non-elemental ninjutsu, Yin Release, or Yin-Yang techniques (other than this technique’s advanced variation).

(Raiton Chakura Mōdo) - Lightning Chakra Armor

Description: The user wraps their body in a layer of lightning chakra which, instead of being used offensively, is used to electrically stimulate their nervous system. The technique speeds up neural synapses reaction time, and pushes physical prowess to the absolute limit allowing for tremendous raw speed. The technique has different levels of activation each visibly depicted by the users hair which stands up when the technique is activated to the fullest. The higher the level, the higher the speed the user can achieve. This mode, combined with taijutsu, allows the users to utilize nintaijutsu. When using the armor at full power, it causes the tips of A's hair to spike up and his reflexes are said to be comparable to those of Konoha's Yellow Flash, making it difficult even for the Sharingan to keep up with him. Despite the large quantity of chakra it releases and uses up, the armor doesn't damage enemies who touch it, leaving the user able to interact with those around, allies or enemies as well as tools, weapons, etc.

Level One: The base activation of the mode, the user's speed doubles and he gains a x2 speed boost. His Taijutsu increases as well, by +20 damage.

Level Two: The most commonly used state and the one generally referred to, this activation causes the user's hair to slightly raise upwards as his speed increases x3 speed. This likewise increase his strength +10 more than level one. This state can only last 4 turns max each usage.

Level Three: The highest level of the Lightning Chakra Armor, the user uses this state to increase his reactions and speed to the max, gaining a x6 speed boost and a +40 damage boost to Taijutsu. The users speed increases to a point where only the highest Gates, Jinchuriki modes and instant techniques outstrip the user in terms of speed, appearing as a blur to most targets. This state however, only lasts 2 turns, after which the mode in it's entirety cannot be accessed for at least 3 turns.


Note: Level Two can only be used three times max each event and Level Three can only be used twice. During Level 3, only Taijutsu and Lightning may be used exclusively.

Note: Can only be used by the 3rd and 4th Raikages.

When they were 3 metres away from her, the clone dropped Ryuu onto the ground in front of the woman. Ryuu landed on his feet and kept his hold on the woman with the serpents, whom would have greatly injured her. The clone on the other hand, continued on to move around the woman after dropping Ryuu, stopping 2 metres right behind her. Precisely pinpointing her vital points, he released a high-speed palm thrust, empowered by both his natural affinity for the gentle fist style, as well as his lightning armour, striking her on her back. She would go flying forwards, landing face-first 2 metres past Ryuu, with the serpents still around her. This would be enough to finish her off, but of course the duo waited patiently to see what would happen.

(Hakke Kūshō) Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm

The user precisely pinpoints the enemy's vital points with the Byakugan and releases a high-speed palm thrust. A "vacuum shell" compressed using the Gentle Fist style is formed to attack the opponent's organs and soft tissue from a distance, blowing them off their feet with tremendous force before they even notice they were hit. In order to attain more power and range (S-rank) then a variation of this, Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm Wall, necessitates that both hands are used. In this case, a more potent wave of compressed chakra is released with great force from both palms, simultaneously. And the result from this can be increased damage to not only the foe's targeted organs and soft tissue but also their hard tissue (e.g., bones). Of course, this variation has sufficient force to send a foe careening as far as five meters.

Despite the boy's determined attempt to break through the spherical barrier somehow, she tracked his every move with uncanny precision. The moment the clone activated his lightning armor, Faye halted, channeling earthen chakra into the ground. The earth quaked beneath, causing the clone to lose balance and footing, a calculated disruption that set the stage for the impending climax.

As the clone fell to the ground, caught in the ring explosion, Faye orchestrated a relentless assault. A rainstorm of explosive concussive fireballs cascaded, further disorienting and damaging the duo who had just been hit with a point blank explosive . The boy's descent into chaos intensified as Faye unleashed a formidable stream of flames from her mouth, all whilst being bombarded by the shower of fireballs creating an inferno that seemed inescapable.

The battlefield transformed into a burning canvas, the boy ensnared in the ferocity of Faye's strategic brilliance. The outcome appeared inevitable—incineration and the stark residue of a field left ablaze.

However when having this jutsu activated the user cannot use other elements than the ones that's based on Earth Release(Like Diamond.). The jutsu may surprise the opponent at first, and cause him to loose balance, though the opponent may be able to adapt and prepare him/herself to keep the balance after the first several quakes.

I'm inclined to agree with Ryoma in this situation, as the Cage jutsu isn't sustained and therefore wouldn't be controllable by you in regards as to when the explosion happens. Ryoma uses the Yang/Lightning Armor in the same T/F ( with different bodies obviously ), so you wouldn't be able to use the Quaking Runner before the explosion can go off because it'll be a breach of the T/F. Also, more importantly, you're using the jutsu incorrectly.

As you can see, you're required to actually be moving around to cause these sustained tremors and cause the opponent to be off balance, but there's no mention of that in your move. Another thing, you can't say the clone fell over when the jutsu only states they'd lose balance, there's nothing about them being forced to the ground. You can lose balance, but remain on your feet. And lastly, if you wanted a sustained usage, you'd be unable to use the Fire jutsu you used afterwards because the technique clearly states, "however when having this jutsu activated the user cannot use other elements than the ones that's based on Earth Release".

So with everything in mind, I'm gonna say the Quaking Runner was unsuccessful in stopping Ryoma from closing the distance between y'all, and of course, it means he escaped the explosion given his speed and usage of the serpents to protect them. The serpents would be lowered by 30 damage after the clash ( Caged Heat would actually be 115 due to Kagutsuchi lowering opponents Fire jutsu by 10, so 125 Yang vs 115 Fire Jutsu ). This would leave El Alucard to take a hit from the serpents, with 95 damage sustained, due to the failed attempt to stop him through Quaking Runner.

TL;DR: El Alucard failed to stop Ryoma from getting close and as a result, took 95 damage from the serpents and was bound by them.

T/F would be: Caged Heat > Yang/Lightning Armor > Quaking Runner > Yang/Vacuum Palm > Faye Funeral

T/F is a bit scuffed because there too much crammed into it tbh, so in future try to keep things more fluid.

Result: Ryoma wins.

  1. Okay so firstly I believe the cage is self sustained only needing the you to spend chakra and the rest will happen in its own. Similar to how that one fire technique where you shoot a fireball the eventually erupts into a maelstrom. I don’t need to actively control the heat cage… the cage is made and will explode on its own that’s literally the how it’s written. It’s not like a stream where I have to actively control it
  2. Secondly even if the first thing weren’t the case that would mean heat cage fails to be sustained as I start using a different technique and instead quaking runner would take effect. Which by the way I was already running, I using the step from me stopping my running motion to create the tremor hence “Faye halted, channeling earthen chakra into the ground.” Which is literally the same as saying I stopped and used the step from my stoping motion to create the tremor just way less wordy.
  3. I say they fell over because have you tried to keep balance whilst moving at high speeds? Near impossible
  4. I didn’t use the earth tech in a sustained manner I literally just created a tremor that made him fall and moved on to my next technique which is why I didn’t mention anything about sustaining it.

Regardless of the scenario in which the fire cage functions on it's own (although the simultaneous pressure addition makes that unlikely), the sequence of the tiemframe simply does not allow your quaking runner to occur before Ryoma's movement. If it did, that would imply that you used the fire cage and chained the quaking runner all before Ryoma can move, or interrupting his movement. If your quaking runner was your initial follow up to the fire cage, then maybe that would have some grounds, but in this case it would not stack up as you had different plans, so you would need to react to the Lightning Armour. Since that is the case, and modes being activated allow for a dodge, Ryoma's counter would be sufficient to move out, especially given the added protection from the serpents.

Now, to rule on wether the quaking would happen or not. Some would say it full on doesn't because of the way you worded it, making it invalid, and some can allow it to go on and it being after the fire cage. Which am I you ask? None! The quaking would do little to affect Ryoma imo based on the speed disparity and ranges involved between your characters and the serpents specifically. It would allow for him to move close enough to have the serpents attack as intended (as they would be unaffected by the quake even if it occured), dealing good damage that would be reduced by SM, resulting in 95 - 30 = 65 damage from the Serpents whilst being restricted.

Now, we have another issue for Ryoma. Your Lightning Armour can not be used to boost the damage of your technique, this applies for the most part in regards to nintai stuff. The simple reasoning for this is for game balancing and simplicity sake. For instance you have a punch that releases fire afterwards, the boost applied and the damage would need to be split between the punch itself and fire released, making it more convoluted. As such, after some discussion, we've established that you can't apply said boosts to nintai techniques. So that leaves Ryoma's follow up attack at 100 damage rather than 140. Now here is another bit of spice, the Vacuum palm would clash against the serpents, as they are surrounding Faye and effectively protecting him from the attack. Based on what Ryoma said:

"The eight serpents spread out to trap her all over from head to toe." and "She would go flying forwards, landing face-first 2 metres past Ryuu, with the serpents still around her."

It would mean that Ryoma would have mistakingly protected Faye. Now, the serpents are at 95 damage and the vacuum palm is at 100, so the serpents would get overwhelmed, leaving a 70 damage Vacuum Palm on Faye, which would be reduced by another 30 due to SM, making it 40 damage.

We would now be left with Faye taking 65 damage from the serpents and 40 from the vacuum palm, for a total of 105 damage, leaving Faye at 55 Health (assuming you have 160), with the serpents no longer in play. It would now be Ryoma's turn, with Faye having sustained the injury + HP drawbacks, and due to the serpents getting destroyed, Faye would not be as close to Ryu. Let's go with a midpoint of 8 meters away from Ryu.

The duo, standing close to each other again, watched as their opponent fell victim to their attacks. Finally the tables had turned. Description: This technique is a stronger version of Infinite Embraces and is used basically in the same manner. The user will do the Tiger → Dog → Horse → Dragon → Boar hand seals and slam his hands on the ground, creating a bigger barrier than the original technique but similar in its essence which drains the target's chakra but also pushes down on them making it much harder to break free. The massive pressure the technique puts on the target prevents the target from moving unless it has some sort of enhanced strength ability, making it very difficult to break free from it. Unable to move, the targets are also unable to mold chakra above A-Rank while having his chakra drained. The barrier can only be broken by A-Rank techniques or above or by attacking the user.

Simultaneously, the clone deactivated his lightning armour in an instant, instead slamming his hands onto the ground, creating a large swamp beneath the already weakened woman, which aimed to pull her down into it and suffocate her. The swamp was 20 metres deep and extended 7 metres all around Faye, leaving a metre between the swamp and the duo. This, coupled with the barrier, would ensure that escape was extremely difficult.

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a thick, newer impossible to move in swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.
Note: A rank use can extend up to mid range and will cause a target to become engulfed after one turn and suffocate after taking 60 damage per turn.
Note: S rank use can only be used by Primary Earth Specialists and can extend up to a single landmark in range and will cause a target to become engulfed and suffocate after one turn, taking 80 damage per turn.

In an instant, a substantial hole materialized beneath both her opponent and her clone. A large square portion of the earth plummeted 20 meters, abruptly interrupting their intended actions. The makeshift pit would put the two adversaries at the center, 5 meters from each side, a spatial disruption that would give her just enough time to save herself.

As her adversaries descended into the pit, Faye, now on her knees, swiftly executed four hand seals, activating medical mode to mend her wounds, instantly restoring 50 health points. The surge of healing energy coursed through her, providing a crucial respite.

With renewed determination, Faye slammed her hands onto the ground once more. This time, the side of the square hole closest to her transformed into a loose, landslide-like quality. A cascade of earth tumbled down, burying her opponents in the shifting debris.
