Tetsuo walked gradually, and purposefully onto the field looking out toward his opponent. There was a resolve in his eyes, a willingness to learn, and what resembled insecurity hidden behind that resolute gaze. He was, well, he was worried, anxious about his own strength, and the fact that this would be his first encounter with another shinobi.
The psychological damage done to him via the encounter with "the man" as well as Takauji Ashikaga had left him a bit hesitant suffering from the stress and strain of those forceful encounters. This meant this would be the first time he was to test his mettle and determination against another soul.
If it were up to him, he wouldn't be competing in the first place, he wasn't a fighter in truth. Honestly, he wanted nothing more than to have the strength to protect those around him, the individuals he cared for, and himself. He lowered his eye-line momentarily looking at the battlefield in front of him. It was an analytical look.

I am Tetsuo Shima, this is my first foray into actual fighting, though feel free to fight your hardest.

Don't take my inexperience as weakness, I am learning, as I assume you are too.


The boy placed his right hand into his tattered coat gripping for something as it made a light snap followed by a clicking noise. He had connected a clip to one of his automatic pistols and pulled the trigger trying to hide this action from the view of his opponent. This all happened from inside his coat giving little tip-off but the noise it made when he snapped the clip into place and the click it made as he pulled the trigger.
The clicking noise was followed by a pressurized bullet of gaseous poison that tore through his coat and skid outward through the air toward the woman making a swirling noise as it moved and twisted the air around it. It was a rather underhanded trick, but he thought that it was something that Sado would do.
He was the type to use the moment where he was explaining how weak he was to test or try to overwhelm the opponent. So that was what Tetsuo thought was the best course of action. It was also one of the strongest things he could technically do right now. He had other maneuvers but this was one of the quickest and most direct.

( Asashin Heiki ) - Assassin's Arsenal

Description: The Assasin's Arsenal is a set of 3 guns: an assault rifle and a pair of semi-automatic pistols. These guns are capable of firing Jutsu Bullets. The user can release up to 5 bullets freeform per turn, dealing a collective 20 damage. The user is also able to release Fire Jutsu Bullets at A rank power once per turn, only usable every two turns. This can be done via single fire or three round bursts from his chakra rifle or by firing his pistols, creating bursts up to 3 meters large.
Note: The two pistols can fire 5 freeform bullets per turn to deal 20 damage. These bullets are made of raw chakra and are of similar width to fingers.
Note: These pistols are also able to release up to 2 Projectile/Streaming jutsu per turn and up to 5 in total before having to recharge chakra cartridges. During the recharge periods, the user must spend 30 chakra to recharge the clips in which neither of the guns can be used.
( Jigoku Hanran ) - Hellish Rebuke

Description: An alternative to the Kote this tool is a type of ammunition clip compatible with any other gun or sentry. It comes in the form of several canisters that allow them to hold various samples of the user's poisons or for a more advanced usage a singular poison technique. How this is used is similar to the Kote itself the user throws the canister and upon detonation it releases the mass of stored poison and a catalyst of stored dokuton chakra to release the technique itself from the canister without any outside usage of the user beyond throwing it. What differentiates this from a Kote is the limited nature it has, only being able to store a poison technique and no other type of technique meaning to make up for this the user is able to store up to a single S rank poison technique inside one of their grenades, causing it to burst open on contact to release it. This can only be done once per battle, costs a move but can be done alongside another technique if logical. However, using Hellish Rebuke to release the technique is passive thus not doubling up on move-slot usage.

When used as an ammunition clip the user merely connects the canister to the gun, or projectile based weapon and that weapon can then fire Poison Jutsu Bullets instead of their standard ammunition. This has the effect of upping the damage of whatever weapon it is augmenting due to the additional surge of dokuton chakra through the weapon allowing it to work as a conduit for the poison. For example if a gun fires off Fire Jutsu Bullets instead it will fire empowered Poison Jutsu Bullets instead with what the gun's normal damage being increased by 20 passive damage. This supply of dokuton chakra and poison lasts three turns, and can only be used twice as a clip for a maximum of six turns of empowered ammunition. Alternatively as mentioned they can be used as grenades releasing generic poison to attack this can be gaseous med toxin, or any variety of custom poison. This can only be done twice per battle and costs a move.
Note: Using it as a clip is passive and just takes the user connecting it to their weapon to use

Chise sat atop a fairly sized boulder that was arranged in the central part of the territory of where she had been instructed to meet another Shinobi, one who was meant to serve as a fair and equal challenge to her. But more than anything, it was meant to show her where she was supposed to be; the talent and capacity she was meant to hold based on the level she was supposedly at. She hadn't been told much else about who it was she was meeting, nor what to expect in terms of their own experiences or general capabilities. There was much for her to dwell on and consider; possible stratagems she could devise based on several different possibilities of what her opponent could possibly have for a skill set. But she wasn't so dedicated to the process, nor was she particularly talented in that sort of thing. She knew she'd find out soon enough, so perhaps that was for the best.

Once she had seen the arrival of another in the sprawling field of hill and rocky terrain that they sat amongst, of which was more or less entirely contained and isolated from any other civilized landmarks, suggesting that no one would simply be "out and about" here unless they had a reason to be, so the best bet was right in front of her: This was the one who was meant to be her peer she was meant to fight. Carefully yet casually she sprung herself off the sitting arrangement she held atop the boulder, planting her feet on the rigged ground as she took a couple steps forward to place herself within a mid-range position between her and him. She watched him for a moment, silently, taking in his seemingly.. uncomfortable posture. Something about the softness to his eyes, that also appeared sharp.. ready to cut at a moment's notice. Something about it reminded her of herself. Her emerald green eyes focused intently on her peer, listening intently to his words before offering a resolute nod, her fiery red hair catching the natural draft of the peaking terrain they stood upon. "Yes, let's do our best. My name is Chise Hatori. I look forward to--" Suddenly, she felt her words catch as her eyes spotted the man reaching into his cloak, of which stirred something of a discomfort in her. Not many within the Shinobi world had a reason to reach into their articles that didn't amount to a weapon or something similar, especially when they were known to be entering into a fight..

As if naturally in response to her gut intuition, Chise's body had begun to produce her wind chakra through her body in preparation for what may come next. As if on

queue to her suspicions, she heard the sudden popping noise followed by the disruption pulled through his cloak that instantaneously followed. She didn't hesitate, unsure of she'd have the time to retaliate if she bothered to take the time to try and know what it was her opponent had just launched at her. In immediate response, Chise quickly pulled the gathered wind chakra she had focused up and conjured through her system as she lifted her hands in front of her, quickly forming a singular bird hand seal that through the minimalistic time it took to do so, luckily allowed her to rapidly materialize a sudden dust storm of wind that howled around her immediate surroundings and only proceeded to expand outward from there until meeting the projectile that was launched at her midair, intercepting it in it's path and dispersing the technique in a final violent gust of wind that dispersed the lingering gaseous material as well.

A brow twitched across Chise's expression as she eyed the rolling, smoke-like substance off of the canister device that was launched at her and the gaseous consistency it had. No doubt that it was some type of poison that was contained within it and was meant to infect her if the projectile itself had failed to properly harm her. She turned her eyes up to her opponent now in a brief exchange, all the while molding earthen chakra through her system. "Rude.. But I have to respect initiative." Following her words, Chise quickly dropped herself toward the ground, clapping her hands against the earth as the chakra she began to gather moments ago rapidly poured through the crust of the ground, of which upon her will, began to turn the ground surrounding her opponent, Tetsuo, into a mud-like substance that was aggressively sticky like an adhesive. It quickly took to his feet, while also molding up from the ground and moving to wrap and coil around more of his body as a result, working to layer over him time and time again as one layer would harden before the next would crust over it, tightening and restricting movement as it began to work into a shape similar to that of a tombstone. "Cheap tactics aside: I look forward to learning from this fight with you!"

Description: The user will release their chakra into the ground, then by manipulating their chakra, they cause an abundance of adhesive sticky mud to burst up from the ground around and beneath the opponent(s). The mass of mud quickly forming into a tombstone-like shape while clinging to the target, then quickly hardens and encases the whole of the opponent in solid rock. The rock quickly continues to constrict around the opponent, growing tighter and tighter until it eventually crushes them with immense force. Multiple tombstones can be created to encase and destroy multiple enemies, or a single large tombstone can be created to destroy a group of enemies, or one large enemy. The Tombstone created can be no larger than Gamakichi and if multiple Tombstones are created, their total size combined cannot exceed that of Gamakichi.

Note: User is unable to use Water above S-rank in the same turn and the turn after.

When the wind and poison seemed to commingle together nullifying one another Tetsuo realized this wasn't going to be a simple fight. He had tried to get the upper hand in a deceitful way and it didn't exactly work for him. It was then that he realized the young woman was in the midst of doing the same exact thing. That was when the ground below him began to buckle inward and convert to mud. Subject 13350 smirked slyly picking up on the Chise's words. Cheap tactics aside, indeed.
Tetsuo spoke with a rather amusing tone as if he was in essence chastising Chise for being snide in her remarks and going back on the words she had used to attack in an underhanded way herself. He would go on to do two things in unison. These actions would take place as the mud began to move upward before it had a chance to surround him, first, he would perform the needed motions abruptly followed by the summoning of Ibuse while at the exact same time coursing ambient natural energy around the creature using the summoning technique as a medium to prepare the technique.
This allowed both to happen at the same exact time Ibuse being summoned with a shroud of invisible natural energy which would increase the summoning creature's durability while also lifting Tetsuo himself high up into the air away from the encroaching mud. The aura of natural energy would cause the mud to be thrown and tossed away nullifying it before it had a chance to solidify leaving both Tetsuo and Ibuse unaffected by it. Ibuse prepared himself to attack as his summoner called.

"What would Sado say?" Was the thought that ran through his mind. You strike me as a woman who has never been satisfied.

"Yeah, that's what he would have said, throw the opponent off. Distract them." He continued thinking as he yelled down toward Chise.

(Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Ibuse) Summoning Technique: Ibuse

Description: Ibuse is a venomous salamander and Hanzō's signature summon. It was large enough for its summoner to stand on top of its head, easily fighting from that advantageous position. Ibuse is able to use (Ninpou: Dokugiri) - Ninja Art: Poison Mist from its mouth, which is capable of making the entirety of a victim's body numb just moments after inhalation and may eventually prove fatal, although these effects can be counteracted with the correct antidote. Ibuse is capable of concealing itself and navigating underground, even if its under the effects of an A-Rank technique. It can then resurface beneath Hanzō's enemies and swallow them, trapping them in its mouth until they have succumbed to the fatal effects of the poison. Ibuse is very resilient, taking little to no damage from B-Rank physical techniques (Earth, Water, Taijutsu, etc).

Description: This technique is in essence a defensive technique but can be used to increase the power of others techniques as well. It is based heavily around the Sage Transformation ability to imbue upon another being Natural Energy albeit a small, safe fraction of the user's total power. This Natural Energy does not combine with the allies' chakra flow, and only surrounds their body momentarily being taken out either by an incoming attack that makes contact with the Natural Energy or the release of a technique moving from around the allies body and onto the technique imbuing it with a layer of Natural Energy.
To activate this technique a Jugo clan member must make physical contact with another creature while under the affects of a partial transformation (if not already under the effects of a transformation this technique can instigate one) and through that contact infuse them with an unseen aura of Natural Energy encasing them in a protective cushion that will not in any way impede their movement. During this process the user needs to make contact with the ally and sustain contact during the molding of chakra, or until the aura is negated. It can also be used on summoning creatures to increase their durability and can be done in the same timeframe as a summoning technique as long as the user is making contact with the creatures. This process is very similar to the one Jugo performed to remove the Zetsu spores from Sasuke's body and also when he imbued upon Sasuke's Susanoo the power of Natural Energy.
Note: Can only be used thrice per battle.
Note: The defensive ability can be used on the user, but not the boosting ability.
Note: Aura lasts until released by use of a technique or the user and cannot be controlled by the ally.

Ibuse would release a torrent of poisonous gas exhaling down toward the woman as he was summoned. It happened the moment he was brought onto the field creating a pressurized torrent of poison gas as his summoner Tetsuo prepared to continue. It gave the boy a moment to actually think up a strategy, after being rather socially awkward with his one-liner. It didn't come off as confident, more anxious, and unsure as if trying to mimic someone else instead of being himself.
The gas cloud was easy to perceive as it rushed down blanketing the area in poisonous gas, it was aimed at Chise with her in the direct center. This created a billowing cloud of poison, but also it didn't appear that deadly or dangerous appearing as easily avoidable or defendable. It looked like Tetsuo was testing things out, not exactly going for a win, or a deathmatch.

(Yūdoku Gasu Kumo no Jutsu) - Poison Gas Cloud Technique ( Ibuse )

Description: Hanzo will give the command "smoke them" causing his summoned salamander to attack releasing a large cloud of paralysing poisonous gas from its mouth. The effects of the gas are almost instant , making the targets body feel numb after a few seconds. With the targets paralysed, Hanzo can attack his own leisure. Unlike the Poisonous Mist, this technique does no damage to the targets.
Note: Can only be used 3 times by Ibuse.

Unlike the Poisonous Mist, this technique does no damage to the targets.​

Chise watched on as her opponent had suddenly been forced upward from the ground she had attempted to manipulate beneath him to give shape to the enlarged salamander creature that had suddenly appeared beneath him, giving him the advantage of putting distance from himself and the ground meant to entrap him. She quickly stood to her feet, ready to prepare a retaliatory technique at a moments notice. She looked up toward Tetsuo as he spoke, a brow lifting across her visage as she seemed to strain to hear what it was he said, yet no doubt it was something not all too mature, or really relevant for that matter. She let out a soft sigh accompanied by a faint shake of her head as she simply opted to ignore the remarks cast against her. It wasn't exactly anything new that she had to deal with before; far worse had been hurled at her before, in fact.

Swiftly, she spotted the creature begin to reel back immediately upon being summoned, hinting at the process of generating a technique from it's mouth. Bringing her hands in front of her, she began to knead the wind chakra through her system once more as she performed three successive hand seals as quickly as she could, molding the air surrounding her most immediately to take shape in the form of a swirling gust of wind that rotated around her rapidly, forming a dome of wind that collided with the gaseous cloud that was cast against it, circulating against it and preventing it from getting near her. In one final harsh push, the dome of wind expanded outward, repelling the poison and dispersing with it.

Just as the wind moved to disperse the gaseous cloud surrounding her, Chise quickly utilized the visual separation between her and Tetsuo due to the gas cloud and wind still merging before dispersing, assuming he had not moved since the attack was made to drop to the ground once again to quickly clap her hands against the ground. In quick and precise succession, water chakra began to rush through her system, exerting outwardly as a incredible stream of water suddenly manifested and began to lunge forward, washing over the feet of the salamander that was still on the ground. Immediately following this, the water pushed violently upward with rigorous strength, lifting the salamander skyward and potentially along with it Tetsuo as well due to being arranged atop of the salamander's head. Once elevated, Chise quickly lifted her hands in front of her and rapidly performed four hand seals that manipulated portions of the water that had been conjured beneath them to form into 8 orb-like formations that each rapidly took off like bullets toward the salamander, colliding against it, raising them higher above the ground and dispersing back into collectives of unshaped water. As this was happening in rapid succession, the water that had dispersed from the water bullets after contact quickly raised above the salamander's position before rapidly manipulating itself into the shape of a giant dragon's head, jaw unhinging as it rapidly rushed downward in a violent and powerful stream of cascading water that pushed against their floating form and crashed rapidly downward back toward the earth, aimed to crash them against the crust in a harsh combination of their own downward momentum and the collision of the water's mass into the solid ground.

Description: The user will clap his hands and slam them on the ground, streaming an incredibly rapid stream of water through it, creating a large pool of water beneath the opponent to form, that gushes upwards in a burst, lifting the opponent high into the air. The user does the Bird → Dog → Snake → Rat hand seals after his opponent is mid air, using the water pool to shoot up to 8 small water bullets, designed to further raise the opponent into the air, disorient him and damage him. The water bullets gather above the opponent after hitting and passing through his position and form into a water dragon which then attacks the target, grabbing it in its jaws and forcefully bringing it crashing into the ground. The dragon comes down from above the target, bites the target and coils down, towards the ground, crushing the target between the ground and the now incredible mass of falling water. Tobirama Senju does this technique with his own specific hand seals, similar to how he does some other water techniques. Despite long and seemingly complex, the technique is quite fast to perform and trigger.

A couple of meters before the the water would make contact with the ground, Chise immediately began to conjure lightning chakra through her system as it began to form in a whirling vortex around her. Utilizing the vortex of electricity around her, she quickly manipulated it into the shape of yet another dragon's head, growing in size before darting forward in a rushing pathway toward colliding against the cascading water, aimed to meet for a shared moment of collision that, if nothing else, would pour electricity through the water, threatening to violently shock anything caught within the water while also whipping about aggressively along it's path to also electrify nearby targets as well. After a moment, she turned her eyes intently toward the central point where the collision of techniques was meant to take place, watching for a stir of anything else from the process. "Once this is over, we really need to talk about what manners are and how to use them.. Sheesh."

Standing atop Ibuse, Tetsuo noticed the rushing water as it tried to envelop the summon tossing them both upward due to it. With a swell of resolve the young Sage Transformation user, focused his abilities allowing the energy he forced away to overwhelm him momentarily as in an instant a pair of wings ruptured out from his back.
A calmness washed over his body as he flew forward away from the technique itself and toward Chise directly using the momentum to enter into short-range placing himself in a safe and advantageous position. His posture appeared to relax a bit as he flew moving away from that more tense and awkward stance.
It was as if he were finally getting into the mindset needed for this bout of combat. The salamander took the brunt of the attack and dispersed as it was overwhelmed by the onslaught of powerful and torrential water. Even the explosions aimed for his position were too much as he was gone before the technique even got to that stage causing the water to cascade against itself to no avail.

Description: A member of Jugo's clan uses their Sage Transformation ability to form two fleshy bat-like wings on his back. These wings can sustain flight and can be sustained for an entire battle as long as he remains conscious. The wings can be used to attack the opponent directly using sharp hook like growths from their tips, these hooks are claw-like in nature. Like most of the Jugo clan's jutsu these can be sustained as long as he has enough chakra to do so. The user can create boosters on their back once per battle that last for three turns. The boosters can be used to avoid incoming techniques by quickly changing the user's trajectory and moving them out of the way just like the Jet Booster Jump technique. This can only be done thrice per battle and counts as a move each time but can be done in the same timeframe as another technique. The user flies at their current running speed.

Tetsuo was roughly five meters in the air now as Chise was channeling lightning around herself coalescing it into a dragon head. It was surrounding her body completely obscuring both of their views of one another which left Chise in a worse position than Tetsuo as he had a rough idea of where she was, but due to the fact that she preemptively went in to create a one-two punch she now lost sight of him.
He responded by throwing his hands forward and releasing a trident made of gaseous poison that rushed forward with a loud swishing sound as it displaced the air. It wasn't as loud as the lightning technique but still created a cacophony of noise the crackling and roaring of the lightning offset by the dull and drowning noise of the air being displaced by gaseous poison. in unison, to its formation, the poison user would course excess chakra into the creation.
This caused the trident to swell in size as the fizzle of the poison erupted outward before being compressed back down into its previous size. It now had a considerable amount of force and power in it, enough to pierce through the lightning striking Chise directly. The trident itself was five meters long and two meters wide, large enough to make escape difficult as it pierced into and through the swirling mass of lightning making it die off as the gaseous and insulating nature of the poison subjugated the lightning dragon turning it docile before ultimately nullifying it.
If done correctly and timed properly it should leave Chise skewered through the chest and abdomen. However, Tetsuo assumed after using such a powerful water technique the woman had a method of countering. He waited and watched closely.

Description:
The user is able to take an existing sample of a given poison and manipulate it with his chakra, increasing is quantity and replicating it. Basically, much like one does with water release an a water source, the user is able to use a small sample of poison to, from it, create waves, projectiles, etc if the poison is liquid or a dust, clouds, gusts, mists, etc if the poison is a gas. This technique, however, cannot create poison out of nothing, only manipulate existing poison from a sample or source.
Note: the original sample or source needs to be within short range of the user.

Description: The user moulds poison chakra to create poison (from his body), or manipulates an already existing source of poison. If creating the source, he must perform the boar hand seal allowing him to form the source of poison into projectiles, nets, waves, tools or weapons. If he's manipulating an already existing source he is able to merely use slight motions of the hands to form sources into the above mentioned items. By doing this the user can control poison already in play forcing it to move towards the opponent at a rapid pace through the air or across the ground. This poison is usually the residual leftovers of a clash but can even be just inert poison that is on the battlefield. Inert poison refers to poison on the battlefield created by the user that no longer retains chakra. An example, poison created by something like Poison Creation that is left on the battlefield from before. This is similar to Earth Release or Water Release ie, mud left from previously used Earth Techniques or Water left from previously used water techniques. These substances would be inert, just chakra-less substances but would be usable by forcing chakra into them such as the B rank (Suiton: Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave technique. For a more specific example for poison release itself Poison Creation or this technique itself could be used to create a source of poison by manipulating the users own custom source creating a large amount of liquid poison leaving behind a massive amount of inert poison. It becomes inert because it's no longer being manipulated so it's just there on the field. This would obviously need the user to create poison beforehand as there wouldn't just be poison lying around on the ground like natural water that can be found for water release.
As he manipulates the poison he coats it in chakra giving it shape and making it retain a form until the user decides to release the chakra coating at that point the liquid poison loses it's solid properties covering the opponent in a viscous, almost tar-like, purple poison that can impede movement making the opponent slowed due to the excess weight of the poison as well as it's sticky properties. The poison reduces the poisoned individual's reactions and speed by three ninja ranks and causes a numbness upon any skin touched. This numbness radiates throughout the body ending in complete paralysis on turn five. During this time the numbness is accompanied by excessive pain and burning as the poison eats away at the first and second layer of skin causing moderate first to second degree burns all over the body. The user can also manipulate the poison to constrict the opponent hardening it to a point that it can hold a person in place indefinitely unless defended adequately. This is done by calling upon the chakra inside the poison causing it to increase the viscosity of the substance to the point where it's a semi-solid allowing for the temporary capture of opponents. The aforementioned process is the same one that keeps the poison solid until impact.
In the same time frame as another poison technique the user can also pump more chakra into it through this technique increasing it's rank by one rank up to S rank where it merely gains an additional ten damage. This is done by performing an extra hand seal alongside another poison technique thus making it larger, stronger and more deadly imparting the aforementioned effects onto another poison.

Was this the essence of combat? Even with it being a relatively tame match between two weaker individuals it felt like their lives were on the line. Is this what being a shinobi was? Tetsuo had dealt with danger in the past but for the most part, he had been unable to change his fate. He was weak, he couldn't stop that man from injecting him with that poison.
He couldn't stop Takauji Ashikaga from taking all of those lives, but right here, and right now he felt like he had a power that he had never had before, and that made him feel different. Like maybe for once he could have a chance at changing just who and what he was. He could take what he was given, the hand he was dealt by the hand of fate get stronger, better, and do something about his place in the world. Was that what Sado was trying to teach him?
That he had to be more resolute in what he wanted, pick a destination, and not stop until he got there? His mind wandered a bit as he remained aloft looking for any sign from Chise. Was this what his life was now? Would it be nothing but fighting from now until the day he died? That was what Sado's life seemed to be from the outside looking in.

He began to speak, a monotone voice overtaking the area, as he finally built up the courage to ask.

Chise, why do you fight? What are you chasing? For me, it's the need to protect myself and others. All of my life-... day after day I have been taught that I am weak. Compared to the incomprehensible power and strength of the god-like shinobi that run through our lands what can a child like me do? That was what I had thought up until that day, the day when a man with no name and a penchant for violence took away what little innocence I had left. He kidnapped me. Tortured me. Then injected me with something. I watched my arms flake and decay into nothing. This world keeps trying to teach me one thing, and I refuse to listen, because there are people in it, there are heroes like Sado, like Grenth, like the Council of Sin, individuals that time and again throw away their safety to protect people like me. I want to be like them. I want to stop being such a weak, inconsequential creature and finally be the hero, I know I can be.

Description: Thunderwave is a basic chest plate outfitted with a surround sound speaker system, and a microphone. It can be used to play music or make noises more audible than normal similar to a karaoke machine. It is able to produce sound louder than most techniques or the clashing of techniques and can be much louder than the user or opponent can scream. In essence it can act like the (Utsusemi no Jutsu) - Empty Cicada Shell Technique passively at all times being louder and stronger than even that basic technique. It comes pre-loaded with all of the wielder's favorite songs. In battle it can be used to play theme music or it can make the user louder as it has a built in microphone system connected to the speaker system.
The primary use of Thunderwave as mentioned above is the ability to play music with the offshoot of this being the ability to cancel sound waves with sound waves while playing music. This is similar to the Scientific Ninja Tool: Shijima and works like a noise-cancellation speaker. The system can emit a sound wave with the same amplitude but with inverted phase also known as antiphase to the original sound. The waves combine to form a new wave, in a process called interference, and effectively cancel each other out. This effect is called destructive interference and is able to nullify sound techniques in equal rank. The sound can encompass a short - long range area around the user being louder the closer to the user the people who can hear it are and due to this it has a dampening system as to not harm the users ears or cause them any undue problems. It can be fine tuned to look different depending on the wielder's appearance or preference.
Note: Sound techniques can only be canceled once per turn three times per battle.

The primary use of Thunderwave as mentioned above is the ability to play music with the offshoot of this being the ability to cancel sound waves with sound waves while playing music. This is similar to the Scientific Ninja Tool: Shijima and works like a noise-cancellation speaker. The system can emit a sound wave with the same amplitude but with inverted phase also known as antiphase to the original sound. The waves combine to form a new wave, in a process called interference, and effectively cancel each other out. This effect is called destructive interference and is able to nullify sound techniques in equal rank. The sound can encompass a short - long range area around the user being louder the closer to the user the people who can hear it are and due to this it has a dampening system as to not harm the users ears or cause them any undue problems. It can be fine tuned to look different depending on the wielder's appearance or preference.
Note: Sound techniques can only be canceled once per turn three times per battle.
As soon as the lightning technique had begun to manifest itself into the shape of the dragon head that was faced more forwardly than in a surrounding fashion, it gave way to clearing her vision to see that a broad wingspan now hovered in place just above her at a short distance, something was was obviously not there moments ago. Her eyes widened as she quickly channeled wind chakra through her body and into her arms, pooling and dangling at her fingertips as she witnessed the speeding trident being hurled toward her. She knitted her brows inward upon themselves as she watched it close the already narrow distance between them swiftly, of which required her to move in one swift upward motion with one of her arms, resulting in a slashing gale of wind that extended outward from her fingertips in a materialization similar to that of an elongated blade that moved in perfect tandem to the motion of her arm. In a split instant the blade of wind in its extended form from her hand collided in a midair interception with the trident that had been thrown at her, meeting it just in time due to the lack of hand seals required to perform it and dispersing the lightning technique that had been formed in the middle of the collision between the two other technique, resulting in the trident being thrown off it's course, simultaneously dispersing the two weaponized techniques as she slid backward from the force of the collision being directly tethered to her arm due to the nature of the technique.

Description: This technique is a pinpoint slashing strike, where the user emits chakra from their fingertips and materialises it into an near invisible weapon that assaults the enemy in a gust of wind. If the Sickle Weasel Technique can be regarded as a swarm of small wind kunai, then this technique is akin to a virtually unavoidable longsword which can leave the target's body mutilated. Just being in close proximity to the technique can cause minor cuts. The wind blades can be created and thrown, like projectiles, in rapid succession, although in this case, each one weaker than the single use application. The technique cannot be blocked by physical weapons and is insanely fast by not relying on the use of Hand seals but, because it still requires the user to perform hand gestures to use and is somewhat visible in the effect it produces, it can still be defended against by using appropriate evasion techniques or fast elemental ninjutsu.



With knitted brows, Chise let out a shallow breath she hadn't realized she was holding. That was far closer than she cared to consider. Surely that attack who had resulted in a lot more harm to her than what she originally anticipated was expected from a "spar" between two peers. She lifted her eyes up to stair down Tetsuo's floating form as the dust began to settle from the moment of rapidly, violently clashing techniques that had just taken place in the past few moments. She listened carefully to his words, trusting in the sincerity of his question and the things he decided to tell her about himself. She wasn't entirely sure where all of this was coming from, yet at the same time she didn't mind. It let her get more of a grasp on the individual she was facing, and if nothing else helped bring a certain shared likeness between herself and him. She hadn't really considered why it was she fought.. She knew, at least for this particular engagement, she was here because she was told it would be apart of her development as a Shinobi, at least on an official level. But she had no real idea of what that meant for herself. As she pondered his words for a brief moment, her emerald eyes reaffirmed in the stare down between them, looking upward toward him.
".. I fight so hopefully one day, the child today that I used to be won't have to, like I had to.. like you had to. I can't say I know what that means or where I have to go to achieve that goal, but what I do know is I'll stop at nothing to try and make a better place for them to live. If I can't leave the world better today than it was yesterday, then I have to try even harder tomorrow until I get it right. I think that's all that any of us can do.. The Kage-sama, Mirabelle-Sensei, all of the villagers and members of Tsumigakure and the lives they live, no matter what, they no doubt strive to do what they believe is best for us. Suddenly, Chise lifted her hands after concentrating a collection of chakra through her hands, facing her palms upward toward Tetsuo as a sudden gust of wind carried a stream of what appeared to be a large collective of flower petals that rushed toward him and encircled around him quickly, forming a smoke-like haze effect around him as his vision began to become muffled and blinded to the field of view beyond his most immediate proximity.

In a quick followup, Chise lifted her hands to perform a quick, singular hand seal that afterward, she lifted a hand in front of her to begin conjuring an orb of water. Almost immediately upon it's creation, the orb began to spring outward in rapidly extending whip-like tendrils that lashed outward toward the mid-air Tetsuo, moving to lash around his wings and center of mass most specifically, cutting through the fog of flower petals and smoke that she had formed previously as a simple means to distract her opponent and to give herself a split second opportunity to form a technique to utilize against him.

Once it was weakened he now had to empower it while in unison throwing his opponent off. He needed to pin her down and apply pressure right now at this moment. That meant when she lifted her arm to create the blade of wind the exact moment it formed then moved away from her hand to intercept the remainder of his poison technique he had to act.
His idea was simple, bring the technique back to full power, shift its weakness, and surprise his opponent all in one movement. One supplementary movement. He lifted his right hand into the air while he was staring down at Chise and he closed his fist. As he did this he channeled more chakra into and through the moving poison technique and a reaction began to overtake it. It wobbled and solidified the gaseous poison causing it to take on a more solid, dense, and rock-like exterior it now had a hard facade for the trick he had played to try and trap Chise.
This meant the trident now consisting of solid poison was neutral to the wind technique, and it was brought back up to it's highest power level. It was also now strong to the element the woman had shown the highest proficiency for. When it collided with the wind it overpowered it punching through it not deviating from its predetermined course. In unison to this rather flashy move Tetsuo would drop several meters to the ground six meters away from his opponent his feet now touching the ground as he spoke.

By forcing more chakra than usual into a poison technique while also coating it with a dense layer of chakra and forcing it to pressurize by forcing an immense pressure on it the user is able to raise or lower the temperature and pressure of the poisonous substance in unison. This causes any poison to reach it's natural triple point thus the poison can shift quickly through the three basic states of matter gas, liquid, and solid allowing them to coexist as one creating a superfluid or a supersolid.
By then slowing down and manipulating this process in a very precise and deliberate way the user is able to immediately and in the same timeframe as another poison technique change it's state of matter or change the state of matter of an already used technique. For example they are able to turn a liquid poison technique into gas or a gas one into a liquid; meaning they are able to vaporize or condense the poison without losing any of it's strength instead gaining strength from it. Also a third state of poison can be created one that is different and new this being a solid variation. Solid poison is strong to water while being weak to lightning. This solid form isn't dust-like in nature like what can be done with Poison Creation and instead is a real solid like solid rock or earth with the potential to poison things that touch it. Changing the state of poison is done by basically forcing more poison chakra into a technique and pressurizing it thus making it naturally stronger via giving it a one-rank boost (+20 damage). This is done by pressurizing the poison with that chakra making it denser allowing it to deal more blunt damage when colliding with something. This works up to A-rank (S-rank too, but without the damage boost) allowing the user to alter many forms of poison including another technique or just ambient inert poison on the field. The user can preemptively use this on a technique at the cost of a move to allow for the change of state once in the next two turns whenever he chooses without the use of a move later as he has activated the poison's triple point where it will be in a superposition of all three states. He wasn't finished as the boy performed two hand seals preparing himself to attack further and apply as much pressure as possible. With these handseals, he changed the consistency of the ground below Chise's feet causing adhesive mud to spawn below her. She had tried something similar on him earlier, would she be prepared for it?
The mud extended out for 5 meters in all directions ending right before Tetsuo's feet, except down where it went on for ten meters threatening to engulf her. Though this wasn't the extent of what he could do with this technique. It immediately rose up surrounding her on all sides as it tried to force its way into her eyes, nose, ears, mouth, and throat sharp spikes and blades meant to grind against her flesh like razor blades. The whole point of this was to speed up the process of pulling her under by bringing the mud to her.

The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a thick, newer impossible to move in swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

The mud basically blasts out and around the opponent covering their body in mud or slashes and tears at their skin with small blade-like creations formed from the mud giving it an additional sharpness. This makes moving harder as well as restricts breathing placing excessive weight on the opponent tripling their weight and cutting their movement speed in half for as long as the mud remains on them. This is due to the earth chakra infused mud that covers the opponent. It has the same effect as Swamp of the Underworld in a more refined and specific way as it makes movement harder. The mud can possibly asphyxiate the opponent if it successfully covers the opponent completely. The mud can be controlled slightly and forced to surround the opponent's head making its way into their nose, mouth, and eyes. However to use this technique the user must have used a mud-based earth release technique.
The additional chakra can also strengthen the mud making it a sort of pseudo-combination allowing for the addition of more damage. Through this additional earth chakra the mud can be proliferated, thus making the original technique both larger and stronger one-rank boost up to A-rank and +20 damage, it can alternatively be used upon S and Forbidden rank mud-based techniques adding +10 damage and giving the intuitive control over the substance mentioned above. This can be used alongside another mud-based technique in the same timeframe to alter or augment the way the user attacks or can be used later on to control mud that is still just lying around.

In the immediate moment that the wind technique she had produced was suddenly nullified, Chise could register it's dispersal given the direct tether it held to her fingertips; the disruption of the flow of chakra she had been supplying it only an instant ago had suddenly been cut off. This moment stirred a spark of distress in her; she didn't have more than a second or two to retaliate, otherwise she'd be in a rather unfortunate situation.. Lightning chakra pulsated through her system and into her arms, where in rapid succession, she felt her other hand glide through the air in front of her to meet the hand that was already extended out in front of her from the gesture used previously in the last technique used. She moved to clap her palms together, which upon doing so she let her weight fall in a backward motion just enough to give herself even an inch of difference in distance to the projectile that was ready to strike her. Upon contact of her palms together in a resounding clapping, the lightning chakra that pulsated through her system had pulsated outward and, through shape manipulation, rapidly took on the manifestation of a cube shape that expanded rapidly around her entire body after initially prioritizing it's frontal development, allowing for it to take the split second collision of the now solid-formed trident.

Had she even been a split second later to the reaction, that had been the end of the fight for her.. With a twitch of her brow, Chise hadn't a moment to rebuttal. Frankly, she didn't care to at this point given the dirty tricks and tactics her opponent was set to do consistently. Eyeing the sudden manipulation of the solid ground beneath her feet into a more mud-like substance, given the lightning infused cube that was surrounding her and pulsating concentrated electricity naturally slowed the free-flowing process of the earth-based technique, at least by just enough to allow Chise to quickly move to slam her right hand across the surface of the mud-like ground before it had the opportunity to start submerging her, pouring her Earth chakra through the contact made to harden the material rapidly, forcing it to dry up the mud material that was being utilized to perform the technique and nullify it's malleability and ability to take hold of her any further, effectively reverting it back to the original state the ground was in before Tetsuo attempted to change it.

Description: This jutsu is based on the Earth Chakra's abilities to harden or soften any earth feature. By slamming the user's palm on the ground, or on any thrown or erupted earth structure, the user is able to harden or soften the said structure, all at once. The technique is based on the user's chakra reservations, and thus the area and volume of the feature the user wishes to change varies with it.
As described this technique has two variants:

(Buru no Ai Naguriai) Bison's Love Fist, which allows the structure struck by the right hand to harden immediately. Basically, any soft structure, such as Sand, Gravel or Mud (Created by Earth Release (Canon Element), not Mud Release (Custom Element) will turn into rock.

(Ushi no Nyuujou Kissu) Cow's Milky Kiss, which allows the structure struck by the left hand to soften immediately. Basically, any hard structure, such as Rock, Harden Mud or Earth will turn into sand.

In quick succession to the hardening of the ground beneath her once more, Chise quickly lifted her hands and formed the tiger hand seal and by manipulating the earth chakra she continued to produce as well the chakra that was still lingering in the ground, she suddenly began to rapidly ascend upward as the ground beneath her heaved skyward, forming a long rampart of earth that stretched nearly 15 meters high, placing her in an upper advantage to her opponent now, leaving her to stare downward toward him with sweat beading off her brow in anticipation of further retaliation..

Description: By performing the Tiger hand seal the user then makes a gigantic rampart rise up beneath the user's feet, by shaping the ground and increasing the amount of earth with chakra. Depending on what the user imagines, the shape of the rampart can be anything from level ground to a steep, needle-like mountain. If the user increases the volume of earth too much, he can be forced to keep his chakra consumption down. The user can combine this jutsu with Water Style: Waterfall Basin Technique to create a waterfall.

Tetsuo looked down toward the woman as she defended against his techniques. He smirked slightly before speaking.

I'm going to leave you no option but to avoid and pay you back for that onslaught of water you threw at me earlier.

Subject 13350 stood resolute in his stance, his wings holding him aloft as he performed the needed motions.

Who's gonna fight for the weak!? Who's gonna make 'em believe? I've got a hero, livin' in me!

Description: The user can form strong tools out of Red Sand either by creating a source with this jutsu or manipulating an already existing source, these include; kunai, swords, pillars, shields etc. However B rank will need one hand seal, A rank will need two hand seals and S rank will need three hand seals. The tools will be able to repel water and other liquids and the sand is heated significantly giving them a burning property. The heat from the tools are enough to cause third degree burns to human skin on contact and cause deep searing wounds. Description: The user uses his Poison Release abilities and is able to making it more deadly with other jutsus. The user will channel their Poison into a their arms causing their arms to turn into a purplish color. Any physical jutsus (Earth, Water, Steel, Bones, Sand, etc.) is infused with poison and gives the jutsu Poison properties. The jutsu infused with poison will slightly have a more purplish color. The infused jutsu will be mixed with a poison the user has on them making the jutsu more deadly by even getting a small hit with it. The infused jutsu will be able to poison the opponent through contact with the infused jutsu poisoning them. The amount of poison the opponent is injected with depends on the size of the jutsu making bigger jutsus the most deadly while small jutsus will be a small amount of poison. This jutsu cannot be used with energy based elements as they would evaporate the poison before it could be fully infused. This jutsu is fast being able to infuse a jutsu with poison as soon as the jutsu is made or released. And it also grants an additional rank and twenty damage to the technique up to A-rank.

Additionally the user while in direct contact with inanimate water can use their poison chakra to mold that inanimate water source, turning it into a liquid poison this can be done passively alongside another technique just like the infusion ability. Once converted the user can freely and passively control the consistency of the poison hardening it slightly allowing him to walk upon it while others will not be able to do this this is similar to Water Walking but only works for the user. This is the same principle behind the infusion ability but is easier because it is being done upon inanimate water. If an opponent begins to sink into the poison it'll be hard to get out because as the opponent struggles to get up the sticky liquid pulls them down. This source of poison can be used for other jutsu as well such as Poison Creation or other techniques. However it can only support poison jutsu A-rank and below. The max size of the area converted is related to the user's chakra input but cannot transform massive water sources like entire lakes or landmarks without multiple uses. The user must have a liquid poison to use as a template to use this ability.

In unison to the formation of the hand motions, he materialized Red Sand above the woman and her rising platform creating a cascading shower of needle-like constructs above her meant to cut over her ascent. If she kept rising her showy, flashy technique would force her to be pushed the raining barrage of Red Sand. Though, the Sage Transformation who didn't quite know yet he was a cyborg would intuitively mold the Red Sand adding in another substance.
Poison would be added into the mix tinting the sand a purple-red empowering the sand to a staggering degree. Yet the boy wasn't done, he wanted something as strong as what Chise had thrown at him. He wanted her to see that he wasn't a weakling. That he was just as strong as she was, that his determination and words weren't hollow. He couldn't use something as strong as her. He couldn't bring something that powerful into creation but he could empower and alter something else to rival it.

Description: These tags were created by Korra to use in conjunction with her Paper Ninjutsu and are a replacement for the explosive tags a shinobi usually carries thus making them passive. These tags are red in color with a desert/sand look with 漠 on the middle. The tags contain red sand in them and can be detonated by the user merely through thought. The sand in the tags help give the user a source of red sand throughout the battle field. Each single tag contains enough red sand to support a D rank Red Sand technique. The user can use the red sand from the tags for other Red Sand techniques but only if enough tags go off for example the remainders of a single tag can support a D rank technique. The remainder of two tags can support a C rank etc. If used alongside basic ninjutsu that summons Explosive Tags like Hidden Explosive Tags Technique, or that uses Explosive tags that technique is considered a Red Sand technique and will release Red Sand upon detonation. These tags can also be used alongside Red Sand techniques by funneling them into the formation of a technique empowering a Red Sand technique allowing it to overcome it's usual weaknesses as when it clashes with another technique the tags will detonate releasing more Red Sand and increasing the strength of that technique enough to overcome it's weakness.

It stirred up a fire, and a set of emotions in him that pushed him to fight. The insecurities and feelings of guilt, remorse, sadness, and fear were being burned away by the swelling anger and rage in his mind.
Calm himself he thought. Breathe-... he was breathing. In and out, he wasn't hyperventilating, no he was focused. Breathing was second nature now, at this moment it was all he had. His breath, and his objective. Win. Prove himself. He felt like he couldn't lose, well, he could lose that was a fact, but he felt like he couldn't let himself lose. The wings can be used to attack the opponent directly using sharp hook like growths from their tips, these hooks are claw-like in nature. Like most of the Jugo clan's jutsu these can be sustained as long as he has enough chakra to do so. The user can create boosters on their back once per battle that last for three turns. The boosters can be used to avoid incoming techniques by quickly changing the user's trajectory and moving them out of the way just like the Jet Booster Jump technique. This can only be done thrice per battle and counts as a move each time but can be done in the same timeframe as another technique. The user flies at their current running speed.
Note: Can only be used thrice.
Note: The boosters can only be maintained for three turns and created once, the wings can be sustained indefinitely.

As the upwards momentum of her technique carrying her skyward was interrupted in it's smooth transition by the sudden appearance of the needle-like red sand protrusions that were arranged directly above her, she maintained her crouched posture from the arrangement made prior to begin the process of ascending the earth as lightning chakra began to surge through her system, heightening the impulse signal speed throughout the entirely of her body; prominently in the joints and muscles surrounding her arms and legs. Her She felt the surge pulsating through her hands as well the bottoms of her feet, the feeling of almost a light-footed sensation rushing over her as she rapidly darted down the length of the wall she had created, the chakra concentrated into the soles of her feet doubling as a means to maintain her balance along the earthen rampart she had formed, now utilizing it as a ramp of sorts for her to begin descending toward the ground and Tetsuo in a full sprint now.

"If you truly want to be a hero in this world, then stop doubting yourself, and learn to trust again!"

Description: By utilising Lightning Release, the user can speed up the signals that are sent from the brain to the muscles to increase the user's striking speed. The technique also gives the user cutting capabilities from barehanded attacks. When in use this, allows the user to gain an increase of speed and Taijutsu, doubling his speed and increasing his Tai by 20 damage for 3 turns.



In the same instance that she began her downward descent toward the ground, she quickly gathered her earth chakra and clapped her hands together, molding the earth surrounding Tetsuo to suddenly rise upward in a large, medium-range in radius dome of earth that shaped around him in a sudden materialization manipulated by her chakra, growing all the way overhead until stopped just short of a narrow opening left at the top of the earthen structure that now surrounded him.

In a rapid followup to the process of the Earthen Corridor's construction, Chise began to manipulate the flow of her water chakra through her system in quick succession, concentrating it toward her throat as she took in a deep breath before kicking off of the rampart she had been charging down along, pushing herself at a short range distance over the top of the corridor's gap at the top of it, allowing for her to exhale the breath she had taken to expunge the water chakra she had molded into a mass of water that exerted from her system in an aggressive rush of water that poured from her and rapidly took the form of a violent crashing wave of water that rushed downward toward the central gap of the dome. The flowing force of the torrent of water was enough to risk overwhelming the corridor she had formed itself, not only flowing inward through the small hole left at the top but also to shatter upon it in the process, having the potential of creating a situation where the earth would be collapsing in upon Tetsuo as well the full weight and force of the water technique itself. This of course left Chise falling toward the ground in the same process just above the flow of the water, where she remained ready to either land on solid ground once again following the crashing water, or whatever else that might happen in between..

His thoughts on it were pretty plain, the hole in the top of the dome was a way to force him to escape through the topmost likely to be pushed into an attack. So instead of flying out, he performed a single handseal as he lifted his hands upward creating a torrential wave of Red Sand that rushed upward toward the top of the dome.
With this moment as he broke the handseal, he moved to throw up more of those same tags from earlier. Additionally, as it moved upward Tetsuo changed the consistency of the Red Sand as if to empower it causing it to become wider and denser. The hue of the sand itself became a darker brown as it shattered through the defensive dome to then take on the incoming attack.​

( Ekitai: Baindo ) - Oobleck Release: Bind

Damage points: 60 (+10 to coated technique)
Description: The user molds a mixture of water chakra and earth chakra forming a mass of Oobleck, or manipulates an already existing source of Oobleck. If creating the source, he must perform the boar hand seal allowing him to form the source of Oobleck into projectiles, nets, waves, tools or weapons. If he's manipulating an already existing source he is able to merely use slight motions of the hands to form sources into the above mentioned items.
As he manipulates the Oobleck he coats it in chakra giving it shape and making it retain a form until the user decides to release the chakra coating at that point the Oobleck loses it's solid properties covering the opponent in a thick gooey liquid that can impede movement making the opponent slowed due to the excess weight of the Oobleck as well as it's sticky properties. This will half the opponent's speed as long as the oobleck remains on the opponent. His thoughts on it were pretty plain, the hole in the top of the dome was a way to force him to escape through the topmost likely to be pushed into an attack. So instead of flying out, he performed a single handseal as he lifted his hands upward creating a torrential wave of Red Sand that rushed upward toward the top of the dome.​
With this moment as he broke the handseal, he moved to throw up more of those same tags from earlier. Additionally, as it moved upward Tetsuo changed the consistency of the Red Sand as if to empower it causing it to become wider and denser. The hue of the sand itself became a darker brown as it shattered through the defensive dome to then take on the incoming attack.​

The tools will be able to repel water and other liquids and the sand is heated significantly giving them a burning property. The heat from the tools are enough to cause third degree burns to human skin on contact and cause deep searing wounds. The user himself doesn't directly touch the tools therefor he is unaffected by the heat of them. The tools can only be created short range from the user if the technique is used to create its own source of red sand. As a defensive mechanism the user is able to produce Red Sand directly from their body in a large enough quantity to push hazardous substances such as liquid, oil, fire, mud, etc away and off of them.

Description: These tags were created by Korra to use in conjunction with her Paper Ninjutsu and are a replacement for the explosive tags a shinobi usually carries thus making them passive. These tags are red in color with a desert/sand look with 漠 on the middle. The tags contain red sand in them and can be detonated by the user merely through thought. The sand in the tags help give the user a source of red sand throughout the battle field. Each single tag contains enough red sand to support a D rank Red Sand technique. The user can use the red sand from the tags for other Red Sand techniques but only if enough tags go off for example the remainders of a single tag can support a D rank technique. The remainder of two tags can support a C rank etc. If used alongside basic ninjutsu that summons Explosive Tags like Hidden Explosive Tags Technique, or that uses Explosive tags that technique is considered a Red Sand technique and will release Red Sand upon detonation. These tags can also be used alongside Red Sand techniques by funneling them into the formation of a technique empowering a Red Sand technique allowing it to overcome it's usual weaknesses as when it clashes with another technique the tags will detonate releasing more Red Sand and increasing the strength of that technique enough to overcome it's weakness.

Description: The user molds a mixture of water chakra and earth chakra forming a mass of Oobleck, or manipulates an already existing source of Oobleck. If creating the source, he must perform the boar hand seal allowing him to form the source of Oobleck into projectiles, nets, waves, tools or weapons. If he's manipulating an already existing source he is able to merely use slight motions of the hands to form sources into the above mentioned items.

As Chise continued to fall toward the ground, she spotted the sudden crumbling of the dome she had made surrounding Tetsuo before noticing a denser, more aggressive material take it's place in a semi-similar shape. She considered the probability that her opponent had known it would be a water technique that she used against him, so no doubt he'd use a technique meant to repel it. As she continued to fall mid-air with the flowing water that she had expelled downward, she began to conjure forth a collective of lightning chakra into the palm of her right hand, of which began to surge into a radiating ball of concentrated lightning. Reeling her arm back she quickly lunged it forward, hurling the ball of lightning forward, watching it follow behind the crashing wave of water at a slightly faster descending pace given it's nature before abruptly colliding with the water at nearly the same instance that the water had crashed over the shroud of sand and gelatinous material that Tetsuo had put up to defend himself, watching as the orb of lightning erupted in an explosion of electricity that conductively radiated through the water source that had been produced to magnify it's scope and spread to the range of the water technique it mixed with. The explosion carried close enough to push Chise outwardly from her own falling position; the shockwave pushing her outwardly from the source of the explosion, bringing herself to an abrupt curling fall to the ground off to the side of the location where Tetsuo had been at the time of the chain of events taking place.

Description: The user concentrates a lot of lightning chakra into their hand, compressing it into a ball of lightning energy. The user can then hurl it at the enemy or thrust it forward in a melee attack. Once the ball hits the target, it expands into a massive lightning explosion.



Panting in something of an exhausted manner, she had no doubt used far more chakra than she had normally been used to thus far. With beads of sweat bouncing off of her brow, she stared forward in a momentary silence before huffing a breath loud enough to try and speak to her opponent, of which she had no illusions was still alive and well despite her efforts, performing the ram hand seal before she began to speak. "Perhaps we should call it a day? I imagine you're close to running on fumes like I am.." She had hopes her peer would see it the same as she did; the fight had gone on for some time now and they made no shortage of exerting the best they had in their arsenal along the way, which came at a dramatic toll. Despite the suggestion, she remained actively on guard, crouched close to the ground as she waited for a response; either in retaliation or agreement. As she spoke however, the sound of her voice seemed to carry from a different location than from where she actually was, somewhere opposite of her location, across to the other side of where Tetsuo seemed to be. She hoped to not give away her immediate location had Tetsuo intended to recover and retaliate, even with the stirring smoke and vapors that were still trying to clear from the air from the previous onslaught of attacks they exchanged that no doubt made it difficult for both parties to properly keep track of one another accurately.

Tetsuo would release a pulse of chakra from one of the boosters on his body evading by moving out of range then landing on the ground. In unison to this, he would begin to release a sickly, green gas from his hands and feet as it shrouded his arms in legs in a radiating poison. It had a deep repugnant hue to it as it mixed with the surrounding vapor and air creating a cascading and swaying plume of poison around his body.
It was a strange sight, his body looked like it was partially engulfed in a shroud similar to that of the eight inner gates as the poison he was excrete evaporated instantly into a green mist. He adjusted this aura though empowering it exponentially as he began to walk forward in a slow, predictable and methodic manner as if approaching toward Chise to continue to bout in a more hand to hand way.

The wings can be used to attack the opponent directly using sharp hook like growths from their tips, these hooks are claw-like in nature. Like most of the Jugo clan's jutsu these can be sustained as long as he has enough chakra to do so. The user can create boosters on their back once per battle that last for three turns. The boosters can be used to avoid incoming techniques by quickly changing the user's trajectory and moving them out of the way just like the Jet Booster Jump technique. This can only be done thrice per battle and counts as a move each time but can be done in the same timeframe as another technique. The user flies at their current running speed.

First, he applied another toxin to them through the use of Laughing Gas empowering the green substance by imparting additional effects onto it and causing it to increase in strength and power. Then as he entered into mid-range once more he lifted his right hand in a quick jab like motion. He threw his body and weight forward as the gaseous substance seemed to pressurize into a jet of gaseous poison. It was aimed in the general direction of where he thought Chise was.
The gas picked up all of the vapor creating a swirling mass of mist and poison as it pierced through the vapor clearing it and leaving the field empty of it. Though, the poison was still traveling toward Chise and had been empowered by the Laughing Gas creating a rather direct attack. This was merely a way to open up the chance at this sort of fight.
He continued to get closer eventually making his way into short-range where he stopped looking toward the woman. He waited for a counter-attack or for her to move so that he could attack her. Over the course of the fight, they had thoroughly tested out the ninjutsu aspect of being a shinobi but now the young boy appeared interested in trying out taijutsu.

Description: The Phantom Pain is a poison that mimics fasciculin a toxic protein that attacks sensory nerves and motor nerves causing neuropathic pain and intense muscle twitching and spasms. It is found in select strains of snake venom including the mamba. Neuropathic pain is pain that isn't exactly connected to an outside injury but instead injuries to the nerves themselves and due to this fact mimic the pain caused by genjutsu induced injury. This poison is administered by coating the hands or feet in the poison and then causing it to create an aura that surrounds the entire limb by partially vaporizing the poison causing gaseous plumes of green poison to fume from the hands. Then through a taijutsu action or just attacking in a free form way the user is able to increase the level of pain felt by attacks by applying the poison to the body through additional offensive actions. In essence the user is able to supplement basic chakra from taijutsu with poison causing more damage than it usually would have on it's own. An example of what this can do is if it is used alongside something like (Konoha Ryūjin ) - Leaf Dragon God instead of using the basic chakra they release to create gale winds and an air current based dragon through the initial kick they can release poison with the kick creating a poison based dragon in it's stead. Once applied to the skin the poison will pass through the pores latching to the nerves of the body causing first a slight numbness that radiates from the point of contact out a few inches before inducing a strong abrupt rush of intense pain that continues to radiate throughout the body as long as the poison is attached to the nerves causing ten additional damage per turn for two turns. As mentioned above this damage is similar to the pain induced by genjutsu thus it on it's own isn't able to break the effected person out of genjutsu as it's basically pain created by tricking the brain into believing damage has been taken.
This pain increases the rank of non-elemental taijutsu techniques by one up to S rank with S ranks it increases the damage by ten. It can additionally be controlled to extend the users reach up to mid range by having the poison burst forward but only works with freeform attacks needing direct taijutsu techniques to still hit their mark to deal the initial damage of that technique.

Description: Due to the innate connection between Poison Release and Laughing Gas as mentioned in the element itself a poison technique can be laced with vast amounts of Laughing Gas and vice-versa a Laughing Gas technique can be laced with vast amounts of poison creating a compounding effect. This is done by forming an additional hand seal, spending a move slot and lacing into the Laughing Gas Technique a poisonous substance on the user's person, by doing this the user can push the lethality of the technique even further increasing its destructive potential. This can work with basically any wind or gaseous-based element but shows best in Poison and Laughing Gas combinations. This is because as directly specified in the element Laughing Gas is a carrier gas allowing it to carry with it a secondary substance or be laced into another substance creating a mixture of the two. This can be used alongside a Poison Technique or a Laughing Gas technique in the same timeframe to impart additional effects into the substance empowering whatever technique it is used with. When used on an A rank technique or below this allows a rank increase. It can alternatively be used upon S rank or Forbidden rank techniques to impart additional effects onto them but it won't gain the boost in rank, gaining only ten damage. This imparts the symptoms of the poison, onto the symptoms of the Laughing Gas or vice-versa due to the innate connection between the two substances an example of this carrier gas function in the most basic form is the mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide which is used in anesthesia. This all plays heavily upon the carrier gas aspect of Laughing Gas and it allows them to compound the effects of the technique by making it a combination Poison/Laughing Gas Technique or a combination Wind/Laughing Gas Technique. This requires the user to be able to use Poison Ninjutsu and have a poison sample on their person for most cases. It can be done alongside another technique including Poison Ninjutsu, Laughing Gas, or another wind or gaseous-based element.

Description: This isn't a technique more so it is just the side effects and symptoms brought on merely by breathing in Laughing Gas as an anaesthetic substance. These are the same for everyone who breathes in medium to large doses of the gas unless stated in a technique that the amount in the technique is sub-anaesthetic which can be beneficial in it's usage both for healing and helping the mental faculties of the imbiber. Also by using their medical chakra the user can make their own body immune to the effects of Laughing Gas temporarily. This is similar to (Iryo Ninjutsu: Doku Teikouryoku) Medical Technique: Poison Resistance and is a passive ability only needing a move slot to initially activate. The chakra cost for this is 10 per turn.

Turn 1
-effected person loses the ability to control their own laughter.
-muscles begin to stiffen slightly as they involuntarily contract with mild pain.
-Genjutsu is unable to be broken through pain, due to numbness that radiates from their lungs outwards towards their extremities.
-afflicted has feelings of euphoria, feeling strong, happy, and confident as their inhibitions fade and cloud their thoughts.

Turn 3
-Prior symptoms worsen; unable to control their breathing due to the more noticeable and exaggerated laughter, preventing use of any jutsu that requires inhalation.
-Unable to perform more than four hand seals in succession, due to worsening muscle-stiffness and pain.
-Disorientation due from vertigo sets in as they lose feeling in there hands and feet, reducing the effected person's reaction speed lowering it by 10%.
-Additionally they are subject to numerous minor hallucinations.

Turn 5
-Fits of manic laughter and crying set in, causing the deep core muscles and lungs to burn and hurt, a pain not numbed by the effects of the gas.
-breathing and movement become difficult as the muscles required begin to lock-up.
-Hallucinations worsen as the landscape appears to twist and become distorted in colour perception, accompanied by auditory hallucinations. This, with muscle contractions, compound in the effected person's reactions being reduced by 20% and their speed being reduced by 20% of their original levels.

Turn 7
-if a target has been breathing Laughing Gas for five turns successively, without breathing in regular oxygen or having an immunity, they will die due to oxygen deprivation.
-in the WSE, this would cause fainting and unless healed would cause them to constantly be afflicted by turn 1 effects after fainting.

Description: Due to the innate connection between Poison Release and Laughing Gas as mentioned in the element itself a poison technique can be laced with vast amounts of Laughing Gas and vice-versa a Laughing Gas technique can be laced with vast amounts of poison creating a compounding effect. This is done by forming an additional hand seal, spending a move slot and lacing into the Laughing Gas Technique a poisonous substance on the user's person, by doing this the user can push the lethality of the technique even further increasing its destructive potential. This can work with basically any wind or gaseous-based element but shows best in Poison and Laughing Gas combinations. This is because as directly specified in the element Laughing Gas is a carrier gas allowing it to carry with it a secondary substance or be laced into another substance creating a mixture of the two. This can be used alongside a Poison Technique or a Laughing Gas technique in the same timeframe to impart additional effects into the substance empowering whatever technique it is used with. When used on an A rank technique or below this allows a rank increase. It can alternatively be used upon S rank or Forbidden rank techniques to impart additional effects onto them but it won't gain the boost in rank, gaining only ten damage. This imparts the symptoms of the poison, onto the symptoms of the Laughing Gas or vice-versa due to the innate connection between the two substances an example of this carrier gas function in the most basic form is the mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide which is used in anesthesia. This all plays heavily upon the carrier gas aspect of Laughing Gas and it allows them to compound the effects of the technique by making it a combination Poison/Laughing Gas Technique or a combination Wind/Laughing Gas Technique. This requires the user to be able to use Poison Ninjutsu and have a poison sample on their person for most cases. It can be done alongside another technique including Poison Ninjutsu, Laughing Gas, or another wind or gaseous-based element.​

Description: This isn't a technique more so it is just the side effects and symptoms brought on merely by breathing in Laughing Gas as an anaesthetic substance. These are the same for everyone who breathes in medium to large doses of the gas unless stated in a technique that the amount in the technique is sub-anaesthetic which can be beneficial in it's usage both for healing and helping the mental faculties of the imbiber. Also by using their medical chakra the user can make their own body immune to the effects of Laughing Gas temporarily. This is similar to (Iryo Ninjutsu: Doku Teikouryoku) Medical Technique: Poison Resistance and is a passive ability only needing a move slot to initially activate. The chakra cost for this is 10 per turn.​
Turn 1​
-effected person loses the ability to control their own laughter.​
-muscles begin to stiffen slightly as they involuntarily contract with mild pain.​
-Genjutsu is unable to be broken through pain, due to numbness that radiates from their lungs outwards towards their extremities.​
-afflicted has feelings of euphoria, feeling strong, happy, and confident as their inhibitions fade and cloud their thoughts.​
Turn 3​
-Prior symptoms worsen; unable to control their breathing due to the more noticeable and exaggerated laughter, preventing use of any jutsu that requires inhalation.​
-Unable to perform more than four hand seals in succession, due to worsening muscle-stiffness and pain.​
-Disorientation due from vertigo sets in as they lose feeling in there hands and feet, reducing the effected person's reaction speed lowering it by 10%.​
-Additionally they are subject to numerous minor hallucinations.​
Turn 5​
-Fits of manic laughter and crying set in, causing the deep core muscles and lungs to burn and hurt, a pain not numbed by the effects of the gas.​
-breathing and movement become difficult as the muscles required begin to lock-up.​
-Hallucinations worsen as the landscape appears to twist and become distorted in colour perception, accompanied by auditory hallucinations. This, with muscle contractions, compound in the effected person's reactions being reduced by 20% and their speed being reduced by 20% of their original levels.​
Turn 7​
-if a target has been breathing Laughing Gas for five turns successively, without breathing in regular oxygen or having an immunity, they will die due to oxygen deprivation.​
-in the WSE, this would cause fainting and unless healed would cause them to constantly be afflicted by turn 1 effects after fainting.​
The moment that Chise heard Tetsuo's voice stating that he was only beginning, she seemed to expect as much as the response to her call for a stand down. From the moment she witnessed the smoke and vapor of the air to the field become cleared out by what was presumably Tetsuo's own attack, she watched as it was heard in the opposite direction of where she actually was. Luckily she had used the voice displacement technique prior, otherwise that would have been entirely another issue she'd have to deal with..

As soon as the field was clear and she could see exactly where Tetsuo was, Chise rapidly began to knead wind chakra through her system, eager to take advantage of the fact that Tetsuo would be facing away from her given that he had attempted to attack the direction she had misleadingly let him believe she was. She exerted the wind chakra outward into the air in the form of a blade of wind that she quickly hurled in the direction of Tetsuo before suddenly erupting from the blade and quickly began to pick up in a violent rushing hurricane of wind that surrounded him, threatening to pull him off the ground through catching the draft of his own wings to do so while also stirring up the poison that he had been exerting surrounding him into the hurricane as well.

As soon as Tetsuo had presumably been picked up by the raging current of wind that she created, at the very least creating a situation he needed to try and adapt to and recover from in order to take the advantage back into his own hands, Chise immediately began to dart toward his location, all the while forming a singular ram seal as he utilized the left over wind chakra she had already begun to conjure to knead it thoroughly into her lungs as she took in a rigorous deep breath before exhaling, letting a violent and aggressive blast of wind bullet forward from her mouth ahead of her charging position to collide with the hurricane she had previously made, blasting against it and dispersing the currents of wind outwardly behind Tetsuo while also tossing him around in the force of the attack as well, but most notably it was intended to disperse the immediate poison that had been put off around him, carrying it all away from him to leave him vulnerable for at least a fair close-quarter's followup attack.

As soon as the wind had been dispersed along with the poison surrounding Tetsuo, before he had the opportunity to produce more, Chise had the capacity to close the originally mid-range distance between the two of them given the advantage of the Overdrive technique she had previously used still being in effect, enhancing her speed and allowing for her to dart quite rapidly across the field until she found herself a meter or less away from Tetsuo's mid-air position from having been picked up and tossed around from her previous two techniques. Upon coming into range, she quickly leapt upward to meet his elevated state, charging lightning chakra into her right dominant hand as she came for a rapid uppercut that carried with an enhanced speed that reflected the Overdrive technique that was now set to expire into Tetsuo with the flat of her palm, threatening to disperse the enhanced electricity from the physical attack through his system in a resounding collision. If it was a throwing match that he wanted, she'd have to give it to him, otherwise she'd likely never see the end of it. Chise knew full well this wasn't her strong suit, nor did she have a lot of experience in this form of combat, she she'd have to learn sooner or later..

From this motion, he would create a pulse of Red Sand in a coiling torrent that broke through the first wind technique she had sent.
If she continued with the second, it should stalemate it leaving nothing behind as the blasts nullified themselves. He had controlled the torrent to pulse outward into a wave after it hit the first technique, as well as tossing more of those same tags into the mix of it. This created a powerful blast, that could compete with everything she had thrown at him leaving room for a more taijutsu based altercation.

Description: These tags were created by Korra to use in conjunction with her Paper Ninjutsu and are a replacement for the explosive tags a shinobi usually carries thus making them passive. These tags are red in color with a desert/sand look with 漠 on the middle. The tags contain red sand in them and can be detonated by the user merely through thought. The sand in the tags help give the user a source of red sand throughout the battle field. Each single tag contains enough red sand to support a D rank Red Sand technique. The user can use the red sand from the tags for other Red Sand techniques but only if enough tags go off for example the remainders of a single tag can support a D rank technique. The remainder of two tags can support a C rank etc. If used alongside basic ninjutsu that summons Explosive Tags like Hidden Explosive Tags Technique, or that uses Explosive tags that technique is considered a Red Sand technique and will release Red Sand upon detonation. These tags can also be used alongside Red Sand techniques by funneling them into the formation of a technique empowering a Red Sand technique allowing it to overcome it's usual weaknesses as when it clashes with another technique the tags will detonate releasing more Red Sand and increasing the strength of that technique enough to overcome it's weakness.

As she approached him, by this point Tetsuo had now landed and began to walk toward Chise to intercept her. As she made her way toward him she moved in a predictable linear fashion and was going to attack directly. These were the types of attacks Tetsuo had trained to intercept and overpower as she got closer he stopped moving.
He let her come to him as she threw her flattened palm toward his upper body, and then in a springing motion, he abruptly tilted his upper body back and to the side. This created a relaxed and fluid posture allowing her to continue he move to completion but hitting nothing but air. In unison to this, Tetsuo lifted his left leg and threw it forward toward her gut, and abdomen creating a pivoting defense, and a last-minute offense allowing him to let her blow glance around him as he planted his left foot directly into her stomach allowing her to provide him with the force and weight needed to absorb her blow.
This created a strong blow empowered by the shroud of poison, and his enhanced and augmented body. The thing was, neither he nor anyone else knew that the substance he had been injected with as a child had been related to nanotechnology of some kind and had converted portions of his body to that of a cyborg. This was a long-form process that would normally take years to undergo, but due to his training and now aptitude for combat and chakra usage, it had sped up considerably as if it were a virus feeding off of chakra usage.

As soon as Chise witnessed the dispersal of her first wind technique in such a seamless manner, she knew the rest of her attacks were likely to come at little consequence, given the reliance of the usage of the attacks being on the premise that he had been airborne upon her arrival to attack him head on. She prepared herself for the need to counter something, yet she watched as he seemed to stop directly in place waiting for her to arrive. As she moved to strike at him, she felt the air continue to separate past him as his body shifted in a back-sidewards momentum, utilizing his own weight to carry himself in a follow-through to the direction of her own forward-carrying attack. She kept eyes sharply fixed upon him, even to the furthest edge of her peripherals. She knew he was bound to attempt something, and given the lack of movement from either of his arms, she knew his most likely counter attack would be toward her lower-to-mid mass, likely to come from his legs. Immediately, Chise had let a surge of lightning chakra pulse through her system, delivering a familiar burst of electrical currents that heightened her physical capacities by a margin that she had hoped would give her the necessary balancing edge to manage a fair encounter..

Description: By utilising Lightning Release, the user can speed up the signals that are sent from the brain to the muscles to increase the user's striking speed. The technique also gives the user cutting capabilities from barehanded attacks. When in use this, allows the user to gain an increase of speed and Taijutsu, doubling his speed and increasing his Tai by 20 damage for 3 turns.



Using the same principles as he had to avoid her initial attack, Chise had quickly weighed her balance in favor of a sideward motion, kicking up her closest leg to Tetsuo and carried it in a roundabout motion upward, causing her to twirl in a fast rotation that carried not only against her thrown weight and rotating power of her elevated leg, but also through the already carrying momentum she had built up from running toward him in the first place, displacing her from the position his knee had been lifted toward to strike at her in a clean twirling rotation that practically hooked around it's linear pathing to strike at her. The movement continued in a full, fluid and rapid rotation, her still ground planted foot digging into the dirt and stone beneath her heel to cease her sideward movement any further to prevent unnecessary displacement past the avoidance of his initial attack as the followup momentum of the elevated leg carried rapidly to strike at his lower-center mass, roughly directly against his left hip that was connected to his elevated leg, threatening to take advantage of his extended hip joint from the elevation of his own leg to break through the muscle and strike deep into the hip joint, potentially throwing it from it's placement. If this initial strike would land, she would recoil her leg only to repeat the same strike with as much aggressive force again to a higher point aimed for the center of his arm along the same side, directly where his elbow joint would be in an effort to invert his arm were he to try and simply defend with it against the full force of her kick.

Tetsuo would pivot his waist and hips turning his lower-body to match Chise's evasive maneuver while in unison lowering the trajectory of his kick. It would reach its end and miss due to the evasive maneuver, but he would also be able to swiftly redirect his foot and lower-leg down bracing his knee for another interception.
He was able to use his superior speed to keep up with Chise's movements and make these subtle changes to his movements to allow for a future interception. This meant as her kick entered into his space, slipping past his perceived "guard" he was actually preparing to clamp down on her and lock her down.
In unison to this redirection of momentum, he lifted his right arm upward and bent it at the elbow as he began to drive it downward to take away the chance to evade once more. He was taught to be ever-changing, flowing, and free like water. His thoughts were honed with emotional content. There wasn't much anger in his stance or face, it was calmness, as he exhaled and inhaled his thoughts, rather clear, quiet, and still. He was moving on instinct, and not exactly malice.

(Kōsa Hō) – Intersection method

Description: With this jutsu, the user is able to intercept and counter an oncoming taijutsu technique by raising the knee, and driving the elbow downwards at the same time. This catches the attacking limb between his two limbs, and drives the elbow down with great force, effectively shattering the bone.
This motion was meant to snatch her shin in a vice-like hold where his elbow was brought down with a decent amount of force and his knee was brought up with that same force compounding the damage it could deal. This strike would aim to crush the two leg bones, the tibia, and fibula, making Chise's offensive action once more, into a trap. If she continued with her motions as planned her leg would be snapped under the weight and force, the blow held off from making contact with Tetsuo's hip as was intended.
However, the boy wasn't done just yet, he was ready to apply everything he had been taught to this fight and that meant when he was performing this taijutsu based counter, which had the potential in and of itself to deal damage he was weighing the pros and cons of going all out. With a snap-decision, he chose to, as he coursed Red Sand through the user of the Intersecting Method creating a pulse of Red Sand that was meant to rush up from his elbow and knee.
This was directly so that the granules of scorching sand ground across the flesh, skin, and bone of his opponent running up her leg past her knee, all the way to her thigh and hip-bone. This would add in the shredding and searing nature of the violent element itself. It would tear through flesh, and create blisters and burns all along the leg and mid-section. It was meant to punish Chise, for entering into Tetsuo's space and underestimating him. It may have appeared like she had slipped past his guard, in truth, he was biding his time.

Description: The user releases Red Sand as he punches, kicks or uses a taijutsu motion which allows for blasts of Red Sand to be incorporated into free-form taijutsu and taijutsu usage. The user can also perform arm motions such as waving of the arms in an arc like motion or kicking of the legs in swift motions to release crescent arc-like blasts, blades, waves or torrents of Red Sand allowing the user to attack the opponent from a moderate distance such as Mid Range. The blasts and arcs hold enough force behind them to knock the opponent back as well as possibly bruise the internal organs but it's real damages comes in due to the heat and properties of the Red Sand. This justsu is more of a way to create openings in the opponent's stance or exploit openings or weak points in the opponent's stance. The Red Sand follows the strengths and weaknesses found in the element itself causing the taijutsu technique to have the strengths and weaknesses of Red Sand.
Additionally by supplementing basic or elemental chakra from taijutsu with Red Sand the user is able to instead empower that technique with Red Sand causing more damage than it usually would have on it's own. This is because when the Red Sand hits a person it will pierce into or through the body causing deep burns and slashes as well as when it comes against other techniques it will have the strengths of Red Sand. This potential for damage and additional Red Sand increases the rank of taijutsu techniques by one up to S rank with S ranks or Forbidden techniques it increases the damage by ten but doesn't effect the rank. An example of what this can do is if it is used alongside something like (Konoha Ryūjin ) - Leaf Dragon God instead of using the basic chakra they release to create gale winds and an air current based dragon through the initial kick they can release a massive amount of Red Sand with the kick creating a Red Sand dragon in it's stead.

Tetsuo would pivot his waist and hips turning his lower-body to match Chise's evasive maneuver while in unison lowering the trajectory of his kick. It would reach its end and miss due to the evasive maneuver, but he would also be able to swiftly redirect his foot and lower-leg down bracing his knee for another interception.​
He was able to use his superior speed to keep up with Chise's movements and make these subtle changes to his movements to allow for a future interception. This meant as her kick entered into his space, slipping past his perceived "guard" he was actually preparing to clamp down on her and lock her down.​
In unison to this redirection of momentum, he lifted his right arm upward and bent it at the elbow as he began to drive it downward to take away the chance to evade once more. He was taught to be ever-changing, flowing, and free like water. His thoughts were honed with emotional content. There wasn't much anger in his stance or face, it was calmness, as he exhaled and inhaled his thoughts, rather clear, quiet, and still. He was moving on instinct, and not exactly malice.​

Description: With this jutsu, the user is able to intercept and counter an oncoming taijutsu technique by raising the knee, and driving the elbow downwards at the same time. This catches the attacking limb between his two limbs, and drives the elbow down with great force, effectively shattering the bone.​

This motion was meant to snatch her shin in a vice-like hold where his elbow was brought down with a decent amount of force and his knee was brought up with that same force compounding the damage it could deal. This strike would aim to crush the two leg bones, the tibia, and fibula, making Chise's offensive action once more, into a trap. If she continued with her motions as planned her leg would be snapped under the weight and force, the blow held off from making contact with Tetsuo's hip as was intended.​
However, the boy wasn't done just yet, he was ready to apply everything he had been taught to this fight and that meant when he was performing this taijutsu based counter, which had the potential in and of itself to deal damage he was weighing the pros and cons of going all out. With a snap-decision, he chose to, as he coursed Red Sand through the user of the Intersecting Method creating a pulse of Red Sand that was meant to rush up from his elbow and knee.​
This was directly so that the granules of scorching sand ground across the flesh, skin, and bone of his opponent running up her leg past her knee, all the way to her thigh and hip-bone. This would add in the shredding and searing nature of the violent element itself. It would tear through flesh, and create blisters and burns all along the leg and mid-section. It was meant to punish Chise, for entering into Tetsuo's space and underestimating him. It may have appeared like she had slipped past his guard, in truth, he was biding his time.​

Description: The user releases Red Sand as he punches, kicks or uses a taijutsu motion which allows for blasts of Red Sand to be incorporated into free-form taijutsu and taijutsu usage. The user can also perform arm motions such as waving of the arms in an arc like motion or kicking of the legs in swift motions to release crescent arc-like blasts, blades, waves or torrents of Red Sand allowing the user to attack the opponent from a moderate distance such as Mid Range. The blasts and arcs hold enough force behind them to knock the opponent back as well as possibly bruise the internal organs but it's real damages comes in due to the heat and properties of the Red Sand. This justsu is more of a way to create openings in the opponent's stance or exploit openings or weak points in the opponent's stance. The Red Sand follows the strengths and weaknesses found in the element itself causing the taijutsu technique to have the strengths and weaknesses of Red Sand.​
Additionally by supplementing basic or elemental chakra from taijutsu with Red Sand the user is able to instead empower that technique with Red Sand causing more damage than it usually would have on it's own. This is because when the Red Sand hits a person it will pierce into or through the body causing deep burns and slashes as well as when it comes against other techniques it will have the strengths of Red Sand. This potential for damage and additional Red Sand increases the rank of taijutsu techniques by one up to S rank with S ranks or Forbidden techniques it increases the damage by ten but doesn't effect the rank. An example of what this can do is if it is used alongside something like (Konoha Ryūjin ) - Leaf Dragon God instead of using the basic chakra they release to create gale winds and an air current based dragon through the initial kick they can release a massive amount of Red Sand with the kick creating a Red Sand dragon in it's stead.​

As soon as Chise witnessed the difference in their speeds represented by the quick and seamless transition that Tetsuo had made to adjust to her own counter, she felt the impending outcome being the targeting of her extended leg that she had moved to use against him. She knew the attack was pointless now that the opening had been missed, and given the fact that she was just shy of meeting his speed, let alone surpassing it, she knew she couldn't withdraw fast enough to avoid whatever he might attempt. She knew there was little choice in the matter, so with luck, she'd be able to manage to deal with what was to come in whatever way she could..

As soon as she witnessed him begin to adjust and move to pin her leg, Chise had begun to surge chakra through her system, concentrating it namely into the ground directly beneath Tetsuo as she watched him move to pin it in place and deal his intended damage. The resounding pain that followed with the immediate ringing that seemed to pierce her ears as her nerves screamed throughout her system from the aggressive breaking sensation she felt in her leg. Yet she didn't have time to respond or deal with it. Instead, just before he had the opportunity to spread his red sand throughout her leg, the ground beneath him had immediately given way to the sudden eruption of sprouting of wood that rapidly broke through the earth and began to wrap aggressively around his body, binding around him; locking under his leg, pulling against his arm that he had used to ram downward against her leg and binding it directly to his chest while also binding his other arm tightly at his side, constricting him in place and preventing any sudden movements without the need for some form of followup retaliation that would take time and effort on his part to perform.

With agitated yet clear and resolute eyes, Chise held out her arms as a rapid surge of water chakra flowed through her as she swiftly performed two hand seals before reeling her right arm backward, suddenly a burst of what seemed almost like an explosive eruption of water swirling behind her had manifested through the conjunction of her affinity for the element, as well her capacity to manifest water at will. The water quickly swelled up toward her outstretched arm, warping into an identical shape of her own appendage to serve the versatile needs of her intended use of it. The water rotated in aggressive swirling movements as she suddenly hurled her hand forward toward the center of Tetsuo's mass, threatening to crash against him with the swirling force of the water she had conjured as it followed the pathing of her fist, acting as if an enlarged projected vision of her fist that carried the same striking intent, yet simply enhanced by the nature of it's own power.

Description: After performing the Dragon → Tiger handseals, this technique will summon a large amount of water near the user that will then be used to strike at the opponent in several versatile ways. Shizuku has been known to transform it into a dragon with a gaping mouth to attack though the user can shape it in any way he needs for his intended purpose. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent and as long as the user fuels it and the technique isn't fully negated, the Tiger handseal can be sustained and the water manipulated and used. The technique can also be used from nearby water sources, including low rank water techniques, for the same effect. Due to the immense control needed, the technique is considered a highly advanced use of water release, requiring the user to possess a primary water specialty to use.

In the same following motion of her palm forward that directed the motion of the water that was brought against him in a resounding strike, Chise continued to momentum of her own palm while trying to maintain her balance along her one good leg, moving to ram the palm against his abdominal region to deliver an additional burst of damage that would follow consecutively to her previous technique used. Chise had begun to pant heavily, sweat beading down her twitching brow from the rigorous, pulsating pain that refused to subside from her limp leg, of which she fought to avoid putting pressure on, merely standing in place as she felt exhaustion begin to cross over her.

Tetsuo would release more of that sand-like material directly from his body as it rushed out from all directions. During this movement, it picked up several tags from his person allowing the formation of it to be empowered. This wasn't like the crafted tools and instead was a defensive maneuver to stop Chise from restraining him, and using that to attack.
The sand itself would tear through the wood, breaking it to pieces and causing it to splinter off and away from him. It would be relatively unaffected by the wood technique, at the same time Tetsuo would return to his relaxed stance allowing the Red Sand to rush onward and take on Chise's follow up nullifying the water technique. He, however, let the palm strike go through undefended.

Description: The user can form strong tools out of Red Sand either by creating a source with this jutsu or manipulating an already existing source, these include; kunai, swords, pillars, shields etc. However B rank will need one hand seal, A rank will need two hand seals and S rank will need three hand seals. The tools will be able to repel water and other liquids and the sand is heated significantly giving them a burning property. The heat from the tools are enough to cause third degree burns to human skin on contact and cause deep searing wounds. The user himself doesn't directly touch the tools therefor he is unaffected by the heat of them. The tools can only be created short range from the user if the technique is used to create its own source of red sand. As a defensive mechanism the user is able to produce Red Sand directly from their body in a large enough quantity to push hazardous substances such as liquid, oil, fire, mud, etc away and off of them.

Description: These tags were created by Korra to use in conjunction with her Paper Ninjutsu and are a replacement for the explosive tags a shinobi usually carries thus making them passive. These tags are red in color with a desert/sand look with 漠 on the middle. The tags contain red sand in them and can be detonated by the user merely through thought. The sand in the tags help give the user a source of red sand throughout the battle field. Each single tag contains enough red sand to support a D rank Red Sand technique. The user can use the red sand from the tags for other Red Sand techniques but only if enough tags go off for example the remainders of a single tag can support a D rank technique. The remainder of two tags can support a C rank etc. If used alongside basic ninjutsu that summons Explosive Tags like Hidden Explosive Tags Technique, or that uses Explosive tags that technique is considered a Red Sand technique and will release Red Sand upon detonation. These tags can also be used alongside Red Sand techniques by funneling them into the formation of a technique empowering a Red Sand technique allowing it to overcome it's usual weaknesses as when it clashes with another technique the tags will detonate releasing more Red Sand and increasing the strength of that technique enough to overcome it's weakness.
Note: Must post this in the user bios to be able to use them or post them in the start of the battle and cannot be utilized alongside other seals to increase tag damage.
The moment Tetsuo took damage from the palm strike he spits up a bit of blood. He probably had a broken rib and a bruised or ruptured spleen. Nothing he couldn't handle, but in truth, he wanted to allow Chise the feeling of accomplishment that came from striking her opponent. Mirabelle would be proud of you as well. Well, from what I heard, if she doesn't scould you first.
After a long-fought and arduous battle, a palm-strike to the gut wasn't much among allies. Though, after he had basically broken her leg, he could let her have that, prideful moment of a job well done. Though, the moment he felt the pain, well, he healed himself because, man, pain hurts and Tetsuo doesn't like being in pain. He was able to undo all of the damage and make it seem he was hurt.

(Senninka: Schwifty o Nyūshu) - Sage Transformation: Get Schwifty

Description: Get Schwifty is an ability that allows a Sage Transformation clansmen to replace limbs, or appendages lost in battle and recover from similar severe damage such as crater-like wounds to the upper or lower body barring complete organ degeneration. The Sage Transformation clansman is able to produce muscle, flesh, nerves, bones and tendons but is unable to produce organs, however it can produce small amounts of organ tissue these cells only replace what was lost and cannot create different appendages ie; if an arm was lost and is being regenerated the user cannot produce a wing instead it has to be an arm with the same exact proportions and usability. They can also produce endothelial cells though to replace blood vessels that were severed or lost due to damage but are unable to replace the entire heart muscle itself if it is excessively damaged but can heal organs if they were merely bruised or harmed mildly they just cannot replace entire organs. This is based heavily on the ability that Juugo was shown to use that allowed him to enlarge his child sized body during his fight with A the Fourth Raikage. He was shown to be able to produce muscle, flesh, bone, tendons and nerves by entering a Complete Sage Transformation replacing the cells he had given to Sasuke to heal his wounds. The Sage Transformation clansmen can also reattach limbs by placing them against a wound and using this technique instead of growing an entirely new limb. This process is a lot like how a lizard can regrow a tail, or the African Spiny Mouse can regrow it's skin. The process is rather painful even though it is replacing what was lost and is able to break any genjutsu that can be broken through pain. This technique can be performed alongside most other Sage Transformation techniques happening in the same timeframe. By rejecting the new cells and providing them to a Curse Seal recipient or another Sage Transformation user the user is able to heal them in a similar fashion to healing their-self. This is because any Curse Seal user or Sage Transformation user is compatible with the Sage Transformation enzyme which grants the shape-shifting abilities.
