Yes, you would need a clone. The only technique that you can perform without a clone is the water electrifying lightning technique, as that one allows you to do it right after a water technique even if the water tech is being continued. Otherwise, you cannot perform other techs while that one is still active.
(Suiton: Senkogenma Kujo) – Water Release: Flash Grinding Destruction
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage point: 60
Description: As his opponent is standing on a source of water, the user will create. four sharks of water. Those sharks will rush at their target, come out and knock the opponent high into the air. breaking several of his bones in the process. Then, as his enemy is in a very vulnerable position, the user can freely attack with swords or other ninja techniques.
Note: Requires a water source.
As obviously noted, it requires a water source and also requires your opponent to be standing on a water source. The technique is very simple so I won't go into much, you create four sharks, sharks come out of water and attack target. Slam target into the air at which point you can attack. There is no real combinations for this technique. You can perform other techs after your opponent is blasted into the air, but that isn't necessarily a combination. This tech basically only serves one direct purpose. To avoid it, just get off the water source. Unless you're a water specialist, being on a water source is a very vulnerable position at any time. If you need to stop it, get into the air, and blast the sharks with a wind technique before they can hit you.
(Suiton: Kyojin Nami Shougeki) – Water Release: Giant Wave Crash
Rank: A
Type: Offensive , Deffence
Range: Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user gathers a large amount of water that can then be used to crash into the opponent. It is strong enough to push back Killer bee in Eight tales form.
Note: Requires a water source
A giant wave. Literally nothing else. To block it, use a giant wall or earth technique. Great Golem technique is a pretty good one to counter this one. But other than that, it's just a wave. It can put out fire techs, or wash away opponents. You could also use a strong wind technique to blast the wave and cause it to disperse. It's pretty much a common sense technique. Do what's best for whatever scenario you're in. There is no one right wave to counter it. You can counter it whatever way that works best.
