Make sure to keep up, I'm really too lazy to walk, and you need a guide to reach Kodai anyway. Honestly, it's a pity you don't have your own transportation. In fact, why didn't you just summon a Ray? Although it would have been rather impolite to try, probably would've failed without my jurisdiction, as you've yet to pilgrimage to Ray homeland.

Hurr, yes. This is it. So, what would you like to do first? Meet a boss and more or less finalize your signing process, or get a feel for a Stingrays venom and sting the personal way, alongside getting a Tattoo. It's completely up to you.

What a smart boy you're. Approaching a Ray without a tattoo could be considered as a sign of disrespect. Can you guess why?
After having asked his question, without waiting for an answer, Ling would place his hands into his mouth and loudly whistle. In reply to his call, a small Ray would fly over, bearing a pot of ink and a Stingray barb. Ling would proceed to dip the barb into the Ink, before finally stabbing it into your right wrist.
As he does so, the ink would shimmer and weave throughout your skin, marking you with the insignia of the Rays, branding you with their tattoo.
After having done this, Ling would draw a second barb from the supply bearing Ray, and thrust it directly into the center of your chest; not too deep, but not too shallow. The barb would be cleanly shaven, thus it wouldn't leave any broken bits in your flesh; it is however laden with a thick membrane of poison.
Alright, you've just been stabbed with Ray poison, tell me how it feels?

What else do you feel? You're giving me a description of what it does, followed by a display of its effect on your body. What I'm looking for would require the opposite.

So...you don't want me to discuss the bodily effects I'm feeling ?
*As he says this, the poison spreads along his chest region producing a searing pain and a sudden infestation of necrosis, causing his upper body to turn purple as his cells begin to die before his eyes*
Argh, this poison is getting painful, its even beginning to cause necrosis, give me an antidote already!

Well you were describing the systemic effects, I was looking more for the localised ones. o-o
Woah, you don't look too good. There isn't an antidote, it isn't supposed to be this bad, maybe you're having an allergic reaction? Good luck to you. ._. Although, if you pull through, you'll develop a tolerance to some Ray venoms, since what I stabbed you with is supposed to be like a vaccination of sorts.Tell me when you feel better.

Ling would abruptly appear infront of you, and once again he would thrust a cleanly shaven Stinger into the center of your chest, not too deeply, but not too shallow.
This is, well a double check; if it seems that you can't develop a resistance to Ray poison, you might as well turn back while we're still at the entrance. Some Rays can be capricious, and as such traversing deeper into Kodai could mean walking towards your death, should you not be adapted to survive that is.
