Lucidus may be busy, but if Lucidus was able to be active, I think they have the right temperament.
I played against them last game and I found them to be a capable and sporting opponent.
With the right attitude.
The championship is quite adversarial, and also, a quirk is that since nobody knows each other, town usually does a lot worse than usual, even if the town is made up of supposedly the best players.
they're all used to reading their native site player list, and theyre not used to each other, and sometimes they bring in theories which are relevant to their own site culture, which don't pan out in a different culture.
Like, my home site had "third on the wagon is always mafia" around 2010 or so.
And it was true more or less, over the past year, but that theory didnt hold up once it became a meme, the mafia started to avoid it.
Its obviously completely invalid years later on a totally different site.
So sometimes your cherished local system of finding mafia will be scoffed at elsewhere and people will accuse you of being mafia for coming up with that.
It leads to a huge break down in town teamwork because everyone is bringing their egos and their pasts and they don't know or respect each other yet.
Why Lucidus, then-
Lucidus didnt know me, yet, was a calm and capable person the entire time I played with them. And reasonable, and willing to listen.
Look, sometimes wolves play against that, but I still consider that peek into their psyche to reveal a kind of strength you absolutely need for this tournament.
Lucidus possibly out of everyone here, maybe there are others like Big Boss, has the friendliness and also the skepticism, the patience, everything you need, to be a good townie and good teammate in general.
And good townie behavior that people enjoy, is also useful when rolling wolf, as you can see here.
So, if Lucidus was available, I would recommend sending Lucidus.
i feel after just one game with Lucidus, they have what it takes to have an okay experience there and be a net positive to their team, win or lose.
Lucidus you were also able to have fun and recognize the value of the game even when you lost.
That is good. That's what you need.
That's what you need to bring to MU and the brand new players youre going to meet there, who have their own thoughts and opinions.
Try to find if you roll town, other townies who are useful in a discussion, clear headed, similar to your own personality, and dont let the wolves dominate the discussion. dont let them control the whole game like I did.
Be polite about it, and interact positively with everyone, and you're either the town leader or the town leader who is secretly a wolf. Both things are good.
You can easily do both things, that's why i would personally recommend sending you.
Others who think they can do the above, would also be good to nominate.
That's the formula for success.
It's how I did well in season 2 qualifier and made the mafia scared of me in the finale, and d1 of season 1.
The mafia tend to murder me because you cant have clear headed good activity good communicators who keep explaining why townies are town.
Thats how you eat a murder. lol and sometimes, if youre a vanilla townie, eating a murder instead of someone else, is your goal at night.
Yeet some wolf during the day and you've definitely got a shot to advance, too. no pressure, ever. its a guessing game
@Michelle this is my opinion, dunno if i have a vote here
@Lucidus this is my advice, see previous if your time or mood won't be up for it, feel free to decline.
