It wouldn't be long now. The winds had cooled, and the sun had fallen. The heat wasn't as unbearable as before. Short stings of pain, followed by small, but hearable grumbling, came from below. She gave herself something to distract herself with think about by trying to remember the last time she had eaten.

Walking the valley path, Mayu came across a small river. She dashed over to the side of the bank and took her fill.
Mayu seized the moment to take a look at her own reflection. She could clearly see that she wasn't doing so well. Her face covered in dirt, and a little bit swollen. Cupping some water in her hands, she thoroughly washed her face.

Before standing up, she took out a small canteen and filled it up with water.

This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:
  • Speak to a possible new recruit ( 1 )
  • Babysit and protect someone ( 1 )
Summary: Marty, a clone of the Tsumikage, and the Sage of Transformation found himself exploring. While doing so he's going to meet up with a potential recruit for the Village Hidden in Sin. He's going to talk to her, and see if he can persuade her to join his village. Additionally, for the most part, he'll be watching over her making sure she understands how dangerous the world is and how she can navigate it safely. Might be a few posts.
You must be registered for see medias

Marty was meandering through the Chilli Pepper Pass, the Sage of Transformation had no reason to rush, no need to move with haste. He was confident in himself and well he was just a clone so it didn't really matter. That was when he was able to see and sense two distinct chakra signatures. He approached them as he got closer he saw a young woman washing her face and filling a canteen, appearing to be oblivious to the creature stalking her from the shadows.
The clone of the Shogun-Slayer called out while forming a single handseal coalescing and collecting up a sort of red dust-like substance. With his words ringing out toward the young girl it was followed by a javelin of the substance that appeared to be aimed directly for her. Behind that javelin was a single kunai with a strange tag on it. It wobbled as it entered into the javelin exploding creating a ripple through the substance.
Before the construct got close everyone in the immediate area could hear a guttural, drawn-out, and growling call. It was a bear, or what used to be a bear, now warped and twisted by the Sea of Life. It was a malformed and twisted creature covered in chitinous armor, spikes, and protrusions as it rose up onto its hind legs behind the woman threatening to swing its meaty arms and sharp claws.

Hey, move! What are you doing, it's coming straight for you.

(Nirro Suna: Ryokō-sha no Tsūru) Red Sand Release: Tools of the Traveler
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: B - S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20 - 40
Damage points: 40 - 80 + 20 = 60
Description: The user can form strong tools out of Red Sand either by creating a source with this jutsu or manipulating an already existing source, these include; kunai, swords, pillars, shields etc. However B rank will need one hand seal, A rank will need two hand seals and S rank will need three hand seals. The tools will be able to repel water and other liquids and the sand is heated significantly giving them a burning property. The heat from the tools are enough to cause third degree burns to human skin on contact and cause deep searing wounds. The user himself doesn't directly touch the tools therefor he is unaffected by the heat of them. The tools can only be created short range from the user if the technique is used to create its own source of red sand. As a defensive mechanism the user is able to produce Red Sand directly from their body in a large enough quantity to push hazardous substances such as liquid, oil, fire, mud, etc away and off of them.
Note: S rank can be used once per turn and four times per battle
(Akai Sabaku no Tagu) - Tags of the Red Desert
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: N/A (-5 per tag)
Damage: N/A ( +20 to paper ninjutsu, tag based ninjutsu or Red Sand Techniques )
Description: These tags were created by Korra to use in conjunction with her Paper Ninjutsu and are a replacement for the explosive tags a shinobi usually carries thus making them passive. These tags are red in color with a desert/sand look with 漠 on the middle. The tags contain red sand in them and can be detonated by the user merely through thought. The sand in the tags help give the user a source of red sand throughout the battle field. Each single tag contains enough red sand to support a D rank Red Sand technique. The user can use the red sand from the tags for other Red Sand techniques but only if enough tags go off for example the remainders of a single tag can support a D rank technique. The remainder of two tags can support a C rank etc. If used alongside basic ninjutsu that summons Explosive Tags like Hidden Explosive Tags Technique, or that uses Explosive tags that technique is considered a Red Sand technique and will release Red Sand upon detonation. These tags can also be used alongside Red Sand techniques by funneling them into the formation of a technique empowering a Red Sand technique allowing it to overcome it's usual weaknesses as when it clashes with another technique the tags will detonate releasing more Red Sand and increasing the strength of that technique enough to overcome it's weakness.
Note: Must post this in the user bios to be able to use them or post them in the start of the battle and cannot be utilized alongside other seals to increase tag damage.
Before the creature could lash down at the woman the Tools of the Traveler slunk past her head with a loud whoosh brushing her hair to the side if she hadn't moved from her spot. It never was meant to hit her, it was meant to collide with the thing stalking her waiting for its chance to pounce. The hunter, the Beast of Tiamat was now the hunted, sought after by the clone of the Demon of the Badlands. The Tools of the Traveler speared into the hostile creature's chest as it skewered through it half of the weapon puncturing through the flesh, bone, and armor. The guttural roar became a painful wail as the black-blood of the malformed beast sprayed across the ground.

You must be registered for see images
The sizzle of the blood on the Red Sand was loud as it burned away flesh, and blood creating a bubbling, gooey substance. Then what followed was a loud thud as the creature fell back upon it's back shaking the ground around the woman creating a minor tremor. Marty, the clone continued to walk forward toward her, his arms raised slightly as a sign of non-aggression. His tone seemed calm, and collecting, his posture relaxed and waiting. His voice was chill and listless. All to show her that he was no threat to her.

My name is Sado Yasutora, the Tsumikage. The Sage of Transformation. The Demon of the Badlands, the Monster of the Tea Peninsula, and many other titles, I'm too lazy to list right now. I saw you were in danger so I stepped out to protect you.

I have an offer for you, come with me back to my village, back to the Village Hidden in Sin. We'll train you on how to protect yourself. We'll give you every ounce of power you need to be whatever you want in this dangerous and apathetic world. In doing so, you'll become a part of something bigger.

A part of the biggest, and most active village, the only one who fights against the world-ending threats. I'll escort you there. While we do, you can explore, learn, and decide. In the end, it is up to you to decide what you want. I feel like we can give you, the shelter, and the stability needed to learn, and grow into a deadly kunoichi.

What do you think?

Mayu watched Sado diligently as he stepped forward. His face calm, yet at the same time, it was strangely cunning.
She could see that he was a man of power, knowledge.... and something else. His hands were raised to his sides, to hide the presence of a threat... but he wasn't really defenceless. Behind that defenceless position lied a thousand ways a fool could die, but Mayu was no fool, she wouldn't dare to attack a person who overpowers you in strength, speed and knowledge.

She quickly came to a conclusion, that Sato, really was someone from the land of sin. The way he brought himself before her, and the way he took the down the bear. These were all signs of a pure bread shinobi. "Would he be her judge?" is what she wondered.

Mayu quickly calmed and paced her breathing pattern. In the presence of someone so great she could not forget about her defence even for a second, and then again, his words rang within her ears,

"The power you need... becoming apart of something bigger."

It was no mistake that Mayu needed the power to completely eliminate the threats that were after her life, but she couldn't help having some doughts. Mayu stood up slowly, faced Sado, and looked him dead in the eye. Hopefully, he had gotten her message, that she was not afraid of him, and that if he was after her life, she would be the one to take him down with her, even if it came at the cost of losing every limb on her body.

After making her declaration clear, she stepped back and introduced herself,

"My name is Mayu Kumari, I'm in your care.

~~~~~
Now that the introduction had been complete, the two would have to make their way to the village of sin. Mayu looked around, trying to get a good understanding of where they were. In the distance about 100 meters away from where they stood was a small cliff.
"Ahh, over there might be a good spot," she said, pointing to the nearby cliff. Running past the bank of the river she scaled the hill of which the cliff lay and climbed to the top. She gazed into the distance, examining their surroundings. To the East, of them, she could see farming land... "There must a village around here somewhere," she thought. To the west, there was a small forest, that was probably where the bear came from, and to the North, there was a small village.
Coming down from the cliff, she walked back to where Sado had been waiting,
"There is a village about 3 kilometres North of here, we should probably head over there, and see if there is anything that we should pick up for the journey. Are you ready?
Sure, lead the way. The clone said as he looked around the area gauging how safe it was for the young shinobi. He wasn't all that strong right now himself feeling the debilitating effects of the Red Fever. Honestly, even though he put up a strong front, as needed he probably was weaker than he had been in years. His movements were sluggish and lethargic, his speed slackened, and his abilities heavily restricted. He kept a close watch over the young girl as she gazed into the distance.
Mayu was appeared to be taking in her surroundings, it was smart, information was one of the most important things to have in this world. Information won wars, information prepared the mind and body for what was to come. Marty the clone did his own scan over the area using his chakra sensing abilities, there were two more of those creatures off in the distance one to the south, and one to the east, near the area the woman pointed out. He thought it might be a good testing ground for her abilities, a way to see what she could do.
Keep your eyes out, there could still be danger in the area.
The clone pointed toward the east where the farmland was. He nodded his head in that direction before speaking again.
There is another one of those creatures in that direction.
Do you think you can handle it alone? I'll protect you if you can't, but I think you have it covered.
Marty kept a step behind the woman, he wasn't overbearing or rushing her. He appeared to just be watching over her, giving her a wide bearing. Making sure she was safe, and if she got in over her head he was there to help. Who would have thought he'd meet a potential ally in such a place? Though it was less surprising since Sado had an innate tendency to look for humans who needed help. Then he would help them, either way, taking in capable shinobi like Mayu was vital to the growth of the Village Hidden in Sin.
This post encompasses a C-rank mission containing the following storyboard elements:
- (custom) Endure and awaken from a true nightmare (2)
She awoke with a start, the deep purple of her eyes alight with worry as she scanned the darkness of her sleeping quarters for foes unseen. She could hear the pounding of her heart, the blood rushing through her ears; but in the darkness around her there was silence, broken only by the odd droplet of water falling from stalagtites above onto the slick stone floor of the dark cavern in which she slept. Alone, she realized, feeling a sense of relief that quickly turned to fear. Eingyi was always there when the nightmares jostled her awake, but there was no sign of him in the moss beside her where the crippled man normally curled up to rest his weary bones.
"Eingyi?" She called hesitantly, the raspy, fearful tone of her voice surprising her. Had she always sounded so? Her throat protested the utterance with a sharp sting of pain that made her wince. How long had it been since last she spoke? The empty blackness of the cave offered no answer as she fumbled in the dark for her boots. The feeling of the well-worn leather against her skin calmed her nerves for a moment as she rubbed the last vestiges of sleep from her eyes and gathered her bearings.
"Eingyi?" She called again, this time with more force behind her words, but there was no response save for the barest hint of an echo that rung against the rough cavern walls. Had the darkness always felt so impenetrable? So vast? It seemed to take her an eternity to guide herself along the cavern wall, finding at last the narrow passageway that led out of her little alcove.
Even in a cavern open space is much different from its counterpart; the smell and feel of it was unmistakable. The darkness, however, did not recede, and in the boundless space of the cavern proper the blackness was truly oppressive. It weighed heavily on her mind, still fresh with memories of nightmares; fire and death, and the accusing eyes of kith and kin whose names and faces she hardly remembered anymore.
When she called Eingyi's name a third time there was a tinge of desperation in her cry. His brittle, but grandfatherly voice had long since become as familiar to her as her own heartbeat, and she found that its absence unnerved her as deeply as a still heart would. Loneliness was something she had once embraced, but from whose touch she now recoiled, and in darkness so thick it could be cut with a knife she felt more alone than ever. Even the solid rock floor seemed to yield under her steps; it felt at first like water, but soon even that sensation dissipated to nothing, leaving her with little sense of up and down, much less direction. She found herself adrift in empty space, swallowed up by darkness that seemed to creep into every nook and cranny. She felt it in her ears, her nose; she spat as it slithered between her teeth and into her mouth. She strained and struggled as she felt it enter her very eyes, turning the darkness truly dark. It covered everything that was her and made it part of the dark. It took everything from her, even the sensation of her own body, the sound of her thumping pulse, and the taste of iron in her mouth. There was nothing left of her, nothing at all. She had no mouth and yet she must scream.
Just then, lost in the infinite emptiness of space, there was a light. It was small at first, but quickly bloomed in both size and intensity as she grew closer to it, or it closer to her. The darkness before it receded, burnt away by the cleansing touch of what she soon recognized as white-hot fire. Fire, in the shape of a dragon, in the shape of her, in the shape of those eyes, so accusatory and certain of her guilt. Oh how they burned.
But it was just a dream. Another nightmare. One she had endured many times before and forgotten each time. The same one that had haunted her every night she laid her weary head to rest in the cavern of Our Fair Lady. For only a moment she was emboldened to remember everything, to know the nightmare for the next time she faced it. But the moment was fleeting; a sickly branch too brittle to bear the weight of such a herculean task.
And so she simply determined to wake up, that she might have another day of blissful ignorance of what awaited her in her sleep.
Wake up!
And she did.
Coming from here
This post marks the beginning of my mission with the following storyboard element(s):
-Explore a landmark(Canon D Rank)
Summary: Kisuke starts searching a landmark to learn of what it can offer to him for his research.
______________________________
The Merchant reaches a land of Chili Pepper Pass. He can't believe there is a place like this. It was said to be known for its amazing spices hints the name. Kisuke walks through the land and its amazing grassy area. The land looks as if no one steps through it it in a while. The He stops and takes his left hand and rubs it against the ground. The ground is very fertile to the point that it is almost perfect for anything to ground it. He takes out a box/container from his bag and scraps pieces of the ground into it. This could be useful for his research in the future. He gets up as the wind starts to pick up.
This land could prove promise in the future. Such grounds like this rare to find since humans normally just wreck havoc to everything they touch.
He continues his research of the land. There all kinds of spices. This land was rich with different ones. He takes the box/container from before and places it into his bag. Kisuke takes a from his coat a pad and pen. He starts writing down different spices is was seeing in this amazing land. He could make great things with them for the world. The village could eat well with Kisuke sinister mind set. He could cook up almost anything and make it sound and taste great. The grass diagonally left of him would start moving quickly towards him. He stood ready but for what he couldn't do anything and puts away the pen and pad. He is a mere Merchant with no power. With a point of his right hand he shoots an explosion out from his hand. The village didn't know of this man's ability at all. Out of the ground rising above the grass are two brown and white rabbits. The ground where the rabbits were explodes. Just like any human he causes havoc in this peaceful area. At this point he normally would look around to see if anyone saw but he was to much into his mind of the land he wanted to study to care. He could us such land to make himself better and bring more life to it.
The life he was thinking was the hills he saw when he came into this place. They didn't have any color like what he see here on the mainland. There has to be a reason for this. This is his destination next. The hills aren't fertile enough and it could be because of the altitude but this hills aren't all that high. The ground has to have something in it to cause it to stop growing life into the land.
( Gereru Bakufū ) - Gelel Blast
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: With a piece of the Stone of Gelel embedded in them, the user can blast objects without the need to make physical contact with it. This ability allows him to release powerful explosions similar to Blast release from his hand, detonating things he aims at within a short range radius. He can inversely create a stream of explosions from his hand towards ranged targets. Though this technique shares similarities with Blast Release, this technique is not considered a Ninjutsu.
The rabbits scurry off in the opposite direction. The two rabbits moved along so does other rabbits. There were more that popped up out of the grass escaping the threat they think is the human being there Merchant, Kisuke. He starts to feel bad but this knowledge was worth it. This land really doesn't see any humans a lot. A slight breeze comes across the land and blows his hat backwards as he walks but slowly starts to pick up speed to rush up to the hill. The land has tons of hills as far as the eye can see. He reaches the bottom of the hill and notices the hill is solid. He had lean down touching the ground. This could be the reason for the ground not able to grow anything on the ground. The hills isn't completely naked of plants but they most it doesn't have any clothing of plants on it. The plants can't break through solid ground the hill holds to its self. This land was a good place to plant some experimental plants for Kisuke in the near future hopefully.
I didn't get to explore the land fully but it can been seen that this land is untouched by those of my being. I don't want to deserve this land anymore. It is so beautiful but I have to deserve it some times throughout my career of being a Merchant. I will give back to this land also to make it even richer.
He turns around and leaves the area. He gain enough knowledge of the land and will study the fertile of the land he gathered in the box/container.
This post marks the start of a mission consisting of the following elements:
Find and acquire lodgings (3)
Defeat a group of bandits (3)
—————————-
Chilli Pepper Pass made for a very different world to everything Cheryl had seen on her journey so far, the rolling hills of green stretching far as the eye could see. The formidable white walls that made themselves known atop the hills even surrounded by the dense wilderness.
It also presented to Cheryl her first real sight of community outside of Omashu. She could see the smoke pillars and the flicker of fire light from some way, a village no doubt, thriving away in the distance, calling to the girl, offering itself as a bed and a safe place for the night at least. Cheryl stuck to the rivers edge to navigate the greenery, knowing eventually it would lead her to the village that she had seen before stepping under the tree line.
It wasn’t too long before Cheryl began to hear celebratory voices from the village ahead, she could smell the flames of a bonfire in full roar and quickly became excited for her next party adventure. The village was walled off in the most basic fashion, 7 foot wooden logs stood on their ends and hammered into the ground to form walls around most of the village exterior, only breaking to allow for a few different entry and exit points, none of which were manned.
The unmanned entrances were a great sign to a naive traveller like Cheryl, a village that was so open to visitors that it didn’t even post any guards must be a very happy place indeed. She had been sheltered and safeguarded for so long that she had forgotten evil could exist in this world. The red haired woman walks into the village without a care in the world, her hips popping as if she lived on a catwalk. The adoring eyes she had been used to caught her again here, the village’s interior housed many people of various ages and backgrounds, the only thing they seemed to have in common was a lack of colour in dress, and a logo torn into their cloaks, a hand gripping a curved sword. Cheryl had only taken 4 or 5 steps into the village when she was met by a hunchbacked man who sped into her path, one hand hidden behind his back, tucked under his cloak, the other hand snaps shut around Cheryl’s wrist.
“What you doing here girly!”
The hunched over man scowls. But before Cheryl can move to answer, a strong hand catches the hunched one on the back of the neck with a swift chop. The chop is enough to release the man’s grip on Cheryl before the urchin is shoved out the way by the owner of this new hand. A large woman, 6”3 and clearly from the widely acclaimed ‘Gymlands of Gym’. A short blonde bob styled messily and swept half heartedly to the woman’s right. The woman wears loose leather trousers tucked into her black boots and a baggy brown t-shirt, a blade rests at her left hip. She speaks sternly and with a poorly imitated poshness in her tone
“That, Clarence.. is not how we treat new friends.”
She turns her attention to Cheryl, offering a hand and bowing her head
“Sorry about him, we try not to let Clarence on greeting duty, but sometimes that’s easier said than done. Anyway, welcome, to Cocoapaisu village… tell me, what brings you to our parts, all alone nonetheless?”
Cheryl locked eyes with the woman, her confidence as unfaultering as ever. She recognised immediately that this accent was wrong, she was a sound specialist with a rather posh upbringing herself, she had an ear for these things. Eyes locked with the woman, she grabs the ends of her petite pleated red skirt and curtsies before returning to an upright state with a stern look in her eyes.
“Honestly, it’s just not good enough. You need to keep your animals on a leash or something if you’re going to house a star… so how about I overlook these atrocities and you show me to my room?”
Cheryl speaks with a level of seriousness reserved only for those in the highest positions of power, a luxury she affords herself through the genuine belief that she is a star, if she didn’t believe it herself, why would anyone else.
The woman’s eyes light up, whether through shock or awe, or both, or neither and she hustles to respond. She has clearly developed some sort of plan for the new arrival.
“Oh, of course, yes. Again, I am so sorry, we don’t usually treat any like that, especially not one like yourself. Had we known you were coming we would have been better prepared. Please, please forgive us. Senloo! Take our guest to the closed house, only the finest room! And make sure she gets a good meal tonight! I’m sure she’ll be busy in the morning.”
A second man rushes over, beckoning for Cheryl to follow him. The unpredictable eyes of an unknown village rest on her as she struts along behind her guide, the unknowing protagonist in an unforeseen story.
Part 2.
----------------------------
Cheryl's room was surprisingly nice, she was led to a large home which she was told would be all for her. The house was the largest she could see in the village and made her pleased, they must really have recognised her and be fans. Whilst in her temporary home, Cheryl was sent food, drink and various other essentials throughout the day. The night came quickly and Cheryl had developed a rather tainted image of this place, over the course of her stay she had explored her new abode and found paintings of a family that were no longer here, she found documents for village elders and leaders that were dated just yesterday and yet there was no sign of this building being used. She had heard scratching from beneath the floorboards a couple of times throughout the day and was sure she could make out groans whenever the loud chatter and celebrations outside died down for long enough for her to concentrate her ears elsewhere. The bombshell didn't investigate these sounds, she wanted not to help any in danger, she wanted not for her fears to be true... sometimes, what you want is not to be. This was one of those occasions.
Cheryl had already bathed, changed into her silk pj's and climbed into the double bed supplied when the nights true terror began. She heard the creaking of the front door immediately but stayed mostly dormant, listening to the encroaching footsteps but feigning sleep for that was all she could think to do. The footsteps were nearing and Cheryl's heartbeat intensified, she listened as a hand pushed against the door to the bedroom and clenched her fist beneath the covers in preparation for whatever was coming for her. Sniffs and grunts accompanied the rapid removal of the blanket that was covering Cheryl, an action that was quickly followed by the cold metal of a shackle smashing against Cheryl's wrist. The cold metal embrace of a prisoners bracelet was enough to trigger action from the waiting girl, as she spun and drove her free hand into the waiting chin of a thug.. A release of chakra, unleashed in rage and panic rather than actual thought was released from her hand and a great crystal spike protruded through the skull of the man, driving him up through the buildings roof and hanging his body like cloth on a flagpole over the watching village.
"Shit."
Cheryl knew what was coming before she had even heard the shouts that rang out through the air, the sentiments of the shouting covering only two bases, realisation and revenge. She leapt out of bed and tied her flowing top into a knot, keeping it tight to her stomach for what was to come. She hears the door crash open and sets herself for battle by creating a crystal ball in her hand and activating a unique ability to use musical notes instead of handseals, granting her a Birdseye view of the village that she could now call her battlefield as well as one-handed access to her arsenal.
(Tomegane no Jutsu) - Telescope Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: D
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10
Damage: N/A
Description: Guren creates a crystal ball, which provides her an aerial view of the battlefield, letting her see the opponent's moves. However, if the opponent is completely enshrouded in something, like Mist or Smoke, the ball will not work. It is extremely fragile and has to be continually held in her hand to use its effects.
chakra = 930
Three men enter first and are met by an arrow each as Cheryl sings a tune of black death as the room begins to fill with a viscous black perfume which shapes itself as if multiple black orchids were growing in the main room of this house, the perfumes fresh rosey scent couldn't contrast its appearance more, nor could it suit something less than it does the three hideous black maidens that the unfortunate bandits now lay their eyes upon. The maidens are awful in every way, yet almost impossible to look away from. As they lock eyes with the bandits, the men are petrified and almost fail to even realise that their bodies are shutting down, growing weaker and weaker by the second until they are writhing on the floor, the visages of the gorgons staring down at them as they shut down completely.
(Meromeroton: An'ya Ran ღ Hebifuro ) Perfume Release: Curie's Disgrace ღ Bathing Serpents
Spoiler
Rank: A
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: Allows the user to create a dark tainted liquid perfume with increased levels of toxicity. With 4 handseals, the user releases a mass of this dark perfume, as if multiple orchids are blossoming over an over, despite being a concise mass of liquid, which will then spread over to Mid-range, filling a large field with it's scent. The toxic vapors it releases cause nausea and gradually multiple organ failure. If ingested directly, it will intensify and speed up the symptoms. The scent is heavily filled with blood. The illusionary manifestation of the scent is the creation of hideous black maidens bathing on the perfume. These maidens will appear in the opponent's consciousness, with slithering hair and serpent-like pupils. They will petrify the opponent with their glowing gaze and foul touch, as they viciously threat to impale their eyes with their hands. This will require the target to release the genjutsu within a turn, or they will lose consciousness. The toxic fumes kill within 2 turns, ingesting will halve that time.
*Physical Effects: Toxicity, Nausea and Organ Failure.*
*Illusionary Effects: Black Maidens, Petrification, Loss of Consciousness*
*Perfume stays active for 2 turns unless countered*
*Requires 3 turns cool down between usages, and can be used a maximum of 3 times per battle*
*After the 3 turns, the perfume will be inert and scentless.
*The user is capable of compressing the perfume in a vial, through an additional handseal, where it will be kept indefinitely, without exposure to the air. If exposed, the perfume will have the same spread and properties as described*
chakra = 900
With these men dealt with and her ball showing the immediate outside of the house being clear for the moment, Cheryl moves to the door and out of the building, four crystal shuriken ready to be thrown to her immediate right as she exits, aimed directly for the chest of the waiting soldier, dropping him to the ground before she has even made it beyond the confines of the doorway.
(Kessho: Rokkaku Shuriken) - Crystal: Hexagonal Shuriken
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: Guren creates up to eight crystal snowflakes, each sharp and the size of a normal shuriken, that she flings at the opponent. The projectiles move at the same speeds as a normal shuriken
chakra = 890
Cheryl steps out into the open now, still staring intently into the crystal ball she holds in her right hand. Five bandits approach now, surrounding her as she stands in the middle of the village square, the wreckage of a burned market the friendliest company Cheryl has. She waits, bides her time as the five approach her each with weapons drawn and looking for a kill that they are not trained to deliver. The Ice Queen stomps as they reach short range, sending an rapturous sound through the earth that shatters the very ground beneath their feet and creating a soundwave that crushes eardrums and lifts the on-comers off of their feet, tripping them and leaving them lying in wait as Cheryl picks four of them off one at a time with a barrage of large crystal shuriken.
(Ototon: Ten Ribenji) - Sound Release: Heavenly Revenge
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage: 80
Description: The user stomps his foot on the ground and releases a massive amount of sound chakra, amplifying the "stomp" sound which is released as a wave of low frequency sound through the ground and also through the air, all around. This omni directional sound "explosion" causes the ground to crack open in an omnidirectional area around the user up to mid range and pushes the air all around through massive sound vibrations. These are able to stop any incoming attack (following logic and elemental interactions) but also disable and stop any attack or thing moving or traveling through the ground.
(Shōton: Kyodai Rokkaku Shuriken) - Crystal Release: Giant Hexagonal Shuriken
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: By channeling chakra into her dominant hand, Guren creates a giant hexagonal shuriken resembling a snowflake. The shuriken itself is made of crystal and is as large as the user herself. Despite its sharpness, it was unable to penetrate the Three-Tails' shell in the anime.
chakra = 730
The fifth member of this attempted assault turns to run, but the Bombshell was in self-preservation mode and could not muster a reasonable thought, these people tried to harm her and she would teach them who they were dealing with. Dropping her crystal ball, Cheryl performs three handseals and creates a large crystal dragon from the ground beneath her, the dragon emerging before the crystal ball can even shatter as it touches the ground. With Cheryl atop its head, the dragon leaps toward the escaping bandit and crashes into her with no regard for its own safety. As the dragon shatters, crushing the bandit beneath its wait, it showers Cheryl in shards of crystal, all of which miss her but paint a picture of destruction that somehow resonates equal measures of chaos and beauty.
Cheryl watches on from her position beneath the crystal rain as the now visible bandit leader waves off a summoned bird, a scroll tied to its leg as it races off to the north. Logic forgotten, Cheryl's eyes never leave the woman who is very quickly trapped inside a dome of crystal.
(Shōton: Kurenai no Kajitsu) - Crystal Release: Crimson Fruit
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: Guren creates a dome of crystal to surround a target. It is highly durable from both external and internal attacks, and can be used to either protect or trap a target.
chakra = 715
As she struts toward the dome, the unusually quiet to this point Cheryl begins to channel her wind chakra and speaks.
"I'd say that I hope this teaches you a lesson in hospitality... but you won't be getting another chance at it. I am Cheryl Blossom of Omashu, and you? You're fucking dead."
The woman, punching the inside wall of the dome repeatedly, responds..
"You think you're big? Bitch. Think you're smart... You just wait... You told me everything I needed earlier today... Let's see if you're so up yourself when this smell of burning flesh is all thats left of the family you so selfeshly left behind. You gotta learn kid. Actions out here... They got consequences. Make sure you're ready for them."
Cheryl's attention turns back to the escaping bird from before, the image of her home burning... etched in her mind. She snaps out of her murderous rage, drops the wind channel and with tears in her eyes, sets off after the bird, leaving the woman to starve or suffocate beneath the crystal dome she was trapped in.
Coming from #119, Pingshu.
As flat forests gave rise to grassy hills, teeming with life in abundance Emiya was surprised that this place was once considered part of the Earthen Badlands. That name gave a mental image of desolate rocky landscapes, not luscious green fields from whose waters life flows anew. Emiya figured that the lake sitting in the heart of Pingshu may be at least partially a result of these waters flowing from the many hills in the region. As there wasn't a suitable area for him to go excavating for ore without ruining these precious fields, Emiya continued north.
