There's something everyone is forgetting, i quote ''its being prepared'' (SUISHI's EYE)
1. Senju DNA + suishi's = quick recharge.
2. Itachi (an edo) made from senju's dna+suishi's eye= Izanami
my guess is its been prepared means suishi's eye was recharging and its the key to Izanami since his eye (suishi) posseses the ultimate genjustu.

PREDICTION. Itachi screams ''Izanami'' suishi's eye activates and kabuto is under a superior genjustu but doesnt realise his under one cos thats what suishi's eye does. Kabuto battles hard against itachi and sasuke stabs itachi to the ground, itachi turns to sasuke and says ''why? my silly little brother'' sasuke shouts back ''you are no brother of mine, just a liar and a murderer'' kabuto proceeds to capture itachi and rewrite the justu and control him again. He makes a seal to retake itachi's mind and itachi turns to crows and fly away. Kabuto's body stopped and he cant move. ''whatts going on?'' kabuto asked, itachi appears in his front and says '' i'll tell you, thats the power of izanami the ultimate genjustu that reverses any justu u try to use on the caster, using suishi' eye you didnt know when were already under genjustu and your destiny was decided for you. You are now under my will like i was once under yours'' kabuto screams in anger ''damn you itachi, you are just a dead man and sasuke kun why arent you helping me?'' itachi replies ''oh about that, sorry sasuke i had to put you too under the genjustu to be able to fool kabuto properly'' sasuke looking shocked speaks ''a genjustu that i cant see through even with my EMS?'' itachi replies ''its not just any sharinga its suishi's eye the power of that eye was so great, its a pity the eye has just lost its light.''

Eh, Shisue's eyes, 1 in the bird of naruto or w/e and other is Danzo's which he destroyed it when he died.

In my opinion sanju cell are necessary for izanagi and izanumai and itachi have both just like he have 3rd sharingan (sushi eye).Remember he was partner of orchimaru and orchimaru is the one who give danzo sanju's cells I think itachi also steel some information from orchimaru about sanlu's cells and implement it in his own way..........

What if Tsunade (for a hypothetical situation) got some uchiha dna, like madaras for example. Would the same outcome occur if it was Senju+ Uchiha DNA?

I'd think not. Keep in mind, the Senju (descended from the younger son of the SO6P) had his BODY- namely his DNA and chakra. Hence why everyone's after Hashirama's DNA. The Uchiha are descended from the older son who got the sage's EYES - which is why everyone is after Sharingans (Shisui's, etc.). I don't think you'd have the same result if a Senju took Uchiha DNA, unless they could use the DNA to grow a clone with a sharingan or something and then implant that.

Izanami + Izanagi = Creation of all thing jutsu

This makes me wonder... Its an interesting theory. Everything says so far that the Rinnegan was what allowed the creation of jutsu. So what if the use of Izanagi and Izanami is how you unlock the Rinnegan?

Fits with the theme of sacrifice (in terms of how to awaken stages of the sharingan) since you would be giving up the light in both eyes.

Just a wild theory like the rest of them. May be a connection though.

I'm going to stick with what Itachi said, and say it determines the fate of your opponent. Since Izanagi turns reality into a genjutsu, Izanami would turn genjutsu into a reality?

Also, since it's a pair, it would only make sense that you'd lose your sight after using it, just like with Izanagi.

I have no clue what Itachi means with it being prepared. Maybe just that he has a strategy on how to use it efficiently on Kabuto and the translation is crap? Wouldn't be the first time :\

i think the "preparing" came from when Kabuto tried to stab Itachi...it looked like Kabuto looked into Itichi's eyes. If Izanami really turns genjutsu into reality then i would conclude that a genjutsu would already have to be in place. Sooooo Itachi is awesome and got him in a genjutsu and is going to now use Izanami to make the genjutsu reality, and completely dominate Kabuto without killing him!
