So there we have it. Izanami. What do you guys think the actual specific ability this justu grants the user? Do you lose the sharingan light when using it? What did Itachi mean by 'its been prepared'? Do you think it requires both Senju and Uchiha DNA?

let see, izanagi can change the user destiny, while izanami can change the victim destiny ?
in other words itachi will use izanami to decide kabuto fate ?

i woud think the complete opposite of izanagi ...

if izanagi is cast on oneself, then izanami would be onto others... making genjutsu reality...for eg- if he wanted to make a giant meteor come out the sky, it would happen?

I think you lose your eyesight, no different to izanagi. Tbh i knew that such a technique exists, ill have to wait and see its true power. Judging by how it works its the superior of the two.

lol, I predicted this a while back

I was on wikipedia and I found out about Izanami and Izanagi

So Izanami had to be it's partner jutsu

yeaa it does lose one of your eyes, just like izanagi

But i THINK that itachi is using it due to being an edo, so he could possibly just regenerate back to his previous eye state

idk , if he can spam an op jutsu like that, he has this in the bag

Tbh i already knew what it did a will back because i read on myths anyway and the way kishi has said what izanagi does, it makes sense to assume that izanami would be the opposite.

So izanagi casts genjutsu on the user and turns reality into illusions.

With izanami it casts genjutsu on the opponent and turns illusions into reality. Therefore basically itachi can determine any of his opponents fate with this jutsu alone.

Also he is dead anyway therefore even if he loses and eye, it doesnt matter although due to edo tensei he might regain it back. He might be using edo tensei's regeneration abilities to his advantage

Another thing; Does it require Senju DNA? We know that it is Izanagi pair, and Izanagi requires Senju DNA. Would it be therefore logical to assume Izanami also requires both Uchiha and Senju DNA?
